Its’ unassuming exterior had us passing it for the longest time, until we were craving pizza walking downtown. We went in and were floored with how huge the space is! We were able to watch the 49er game on one of the many tvs. Rowdy, fun, energetic energy similar to a traditional sports bar. The pizza….wow completely blown away! Super delicious and adorably hilarious menu items.
This place is GREAT!! Food is great, and the service is amazing. We ordered a pepperoni with extra pepperoni's, plus wings and mozzarella sticks. All the food came out in a timely manner. The food was hot and delicious. This place is family friendly, kid friendly, LGBTQ friendly, going on date night with no-kids friendly, single guy going for lunch friendly! They had on college football and the Simpsons on a Saturday evening, love it! Try the holiday drink specials!!!!!
I have been to this place quite a few times now and it's a lovely addition to downtown Sonora. I have not tried everything but I enjoyed the peachza pizza, the white trash, pepperoni and of course the chicken and waffle pizza along with a few others in my photos. Give it a shot for a glimpse at New York Style pizza or a taste of home for you East coasters.
The pizza is amazing!! We got the mahallo with jalepenos, 18". So tasty and filling.
Watching MNF Niner-Colts game and it was a great crowed! Our bartender Talice was amazing and took care of us at the bar… way to go Talice, you rock!
I cant give this wonderful place enough stars. EVERYTHING we had was amazing and we each got something different. Looks like a great place to hang out too The staff were SO sweet and attentive, unlike the waitress we had at the restaurant with a snake down the street. We can not wait to go back and try something different. AWESOME job guys 🙂
Want a quiet space to enjoy your meal? This wouldn't be the right choice. Want yummy creative choices for burgers, pizzas, fries and drinks with a lid and hopping astonishingly? Then, this one is the choice for you! We sat at the bar in the front window and shared a Chuck Norris burger with fries and some mozzarella sticks. It was more than enough food for my 12 year old and I with plenty of fries and a bit of burger leftover. The bun had great flavor, the toppings were just as described with all the flavors of a bbq chicken pizza, and the burger was perfectly done. Beware! If you order the burgers, they aren't neat, but not sure who would want a neat burger anyway... Messy burgers are yummy burgers! Service was friendly. Food came quickly. Prices were comparable to downtown Sonora. We will be back.
I actually enjoyed this place quite a bit, the atmosphere was great and me and my girlfriend happened to go on karaoke night and we got to hear a lot of good singers, and enjoy some really good pizza at the same time. There menu is great and has plenty of options from white sauce pizza to original red sauce pizza. There's even a nice bar inside for the adults to enjoy themselves if they want a drink or 2. We didn't sit at the bar but we had one of there cocktails which tasted great and paired well with the pizza
One of the most talked about places in beautiful downtown sonora! New york style pizza sold in 18'inch, or slices.. Classic specialty pizzas to exciting topping combinations!🍕🍕 Also have options like bed of fries, tots, Burger, or calzone.. !!🍔 Awesome appetizers selection, burgers, and dinner entrees. The salads are fresh ,and large portioned❤ And last but not least... The atmosphere is family freindly before 9pm.. And has lounge hours from 9pm to midnight...!🍻
We stopped in completely by accident and it was the best choice we made. We just got done with the snow and wanted some pizza. The food is unique and tastes amazing from the appetizers to the main dish. My kids loved everything and so did we. They are a little pricier but well worth it. The staff was amazing and friendly. We can’t wait to go back.
Went there, had 2 slices and it was wonderful. Heard a lot of great reviews about it and TALICE did a great job with selections and all I have to say is, I will be back. Thank you FLAPPY’s and thank you TALICE and to the gentleman who owns (Sonora Junk Removal), you both were very helpful.
The food, the vibes but most importantly the service was beyond exceptional. Jo not only was helpful with the menu but she was extremely personalbe which only added to the Flappys experience. We got stuck here in Sonora due to the snowstorm but thanks to Jo and her magical personality we will be coming back for sure!!! 💘🍄 -Dani Also get the ravaolis and truffle fries...you won't be disappointed
We really enjoyed lunch here. The service was good and so was the food. The knots were not what I expected, but they were very good. We got the thick crust, and they're not kidding, it's thick. We had the Mystic Pizza (sans tomatos). Everyone liked it. I had the Sour and Spicy. That was wonderful, an excellent spring/summer flavor. We can't wait to go back and try some of the other pizzas.
Favorite place when in town. Chill atmosphere & bomb wings. Big juicy Wing Wednesday $1 each. Nice Happy Hour 4 til 6pm. Check it out !!
What a hidden gem! The food here is amazing. My kids can't stop talking about it or asking to go here whenever we come up to Sonora. The garlic knots are amazing, order more than what you think you will eat because you will end up eating it.
Really great pizza and service, the wombo combo was 🔥 definitely a must if you are out in Sonora and start getting hungry 🙌🏼
Fantastic Christmas decor with fancy foods. The roasted vegetable salad was daring and tasty
On our way back from Pine Crest we stopped to have dinner at Flappy’s and it was a vibe. It was so so, so good. Pizza crust was top tier. Burger was juicy, and buffalo wings were bawm. The best fried raviolis I’ve had so far. The ranch was the best kind too. We will definitely be back to try the Churro Donut Tower.
A Flappys Experience to Remember! Our time at Flappys was absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in, the experience was top-tier. Our waiter, Cameron, recognized our OG Flappys shirts and let us know that their new merch is now available online—which we’ll definitely be ordering soon! Cameron walked us through the specials and, when I asked for a cocktail recommendation, he suggested the spicy margarita with a chamoy and Tajín rim. It was incredible—perfectly balanced with a flavorful kick! For food, we went with the classic Chuck Norris (half chicken and waffle) and the pickle pizza. The combo of sweet and savory hit all the right notes. Flappys never misses! My friends and I first discovered this spot two years ago, and it was such a treat to come back and find the same excellent customer service and amazing food. Cameron went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. He even told us to come back during the holiday season because Flappys goes all out with their Christmas decorations—we’ll definitely be there! Thank you, Flappys, and a big thank-you to Cameron for making our visit so special!
Cameron has the best drink recommendations and the pizza is amazing! I love this place and I cannot wait until our next visit so we can come back. Amazing pizza, incredible drinks, and awesome service. If we lived here, we would get the tattoos. 10/10
Beautiful during the holidays. Amazing nice people. Great atmosphere! Amazing food. Booming with great vibes!!!

Thank you Cameron at Flappy's for the recommendation on the Banana Foster Bread Pudding. Amazing!
We went there for the pizza and were so pleasantly welcomed by our amazing server Cameron. Who made sure we were happy , taken care of and fed. We had the thick crust pizza salad and wings. Everything was beyond delicious! I absolutely recommend!
Very solid sports bar. Wings, tater tots and fries were all great. Burgers and Caesar salad were both good. Didn't try the pizza, but smelled great. Can't beat $5 for a Coors Banquet. My server Talice was wonderful at the bar. Very attentive, gave some great recommendations, helped tune in to requested football game. Overall great vibe and service to make the experience enjoyable.

Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Service was great and the food was great. The only thing that wasn't good was the Ranch dressing. Tasted like it was the bottled kind. It ruined my salad and was not good with there buffalo wings .
I had been seeing a lot about Flappy's lately and had made it a point to try it out when I was back in Sonora. The atmosphere was very cool. The menu had many interesting choices. We ended up getting the Combo Wombo pizza which was good but hard to eat with the thin crust. There was only one gentleman taking orders, serving, and bussing tables in a pretty full place. I felt bad for him, but he did a great job. It was a fun place and I want to comeback soon and taste the other pizza options!
Came in for a random weekday lunch and tried several things on the menu, plus a pretty stiff holiday cocktail. Server was quiet but friendly, and everything came out fairly quick. Pizza was impressive, with a decent thin crust dough. Cheesesteak was heavy with the two cheeses and generous amount of sliced ribeye, made the authentic way. Steak was not grisly, hoagie roll was good. Burger was alright, although a tad sloppy since I got the heel of the lettuce, but the burger itself was cooked well. Tots were crispy. Fat boy fries were pretty good but got soggy fast. Knots were swimming in butter but after the initial shock I realized oh yes these are for dipping and I'm on board. Kind of pricey for some items but a lot of the stuff they have isn't found anywhere else in town, so it feels justified. I will definitely be back to try the desserts and more of their unique culinary creations.
Not a quiet restaurant, but great food with many different options. My favorite was the cluck Norris pizza. The wings are meaty and fantastic. The burgers are big and juicy. you can also order pizza by the slice right outside at the window.

Great pizza! Thin NY style pizza. We ordered slices. We were really bummed out that many of the pizza slices we wanted to try weren't available unless we ordered a whole pizza. We ended up trying out the mexican street taco, pepperoni, mystic , meat and wombo combo and they were all great. Definitely will come back to have another slice when we are in the area. Service was ok/average, not bad just average.
Pizza slices are too thin and too old, they reheat it. The crust is rock solid. Burger is great. There is a blue cheese burger which is just nasty haha. Higher price. Our waiter checked on us, then rolled her eyes on my daughter when she responded the burger was good.

It’s was ok, the garlic knots had no garlic butter on them. The pizza had small pepperoni’s which would be fine if there were more of them.
This is the 5th time I've tried this place, hoping for better. The pizza always comes out cold. The wings were under cooked. My Lavender drink tast like lime. The chicken sandwich had hardly any chicken. Flys everywhere. And to top it off... the server disappeared so we just sat there waiting to pay the overpriced bill to go home.
We arrived 9:23 and the waiter and bartender stood there looking at us. We were here to order a few large pies, they took a bit to talk to us with only starring from afar came over and said the kitchen was closed. Don’t advertise 10 if you stop serving 45 mins prior.
Waited at the entrance for 10 minutes, before a hostess even acknowledged we were there. Were finally seated, waited another 15 minutes only to walk out since we never were offered a drink. The restaurant wasn't busy enough to justify the lack of service. What a waste of time...
Would not recommend, especially when they have no customers. I stopped at this pizza parlor for the first time. We got sat immediately and ordered water while we were looking at the menu. I waited 10 minutes and never got water or my order taken.
Came here on Friday 11/28 after the holiday parade in the town and was so excited to come in and have a beer. When we walked in, it says to wait to be seated, it was packed but arrived at 7:30pm after the parade was over and when the host approached us he did not greet us just raised his eyebrows. My boyfriend asks for a table for 2 and the hosts says we can put our phone number down but if in 30 minutes we receive no call there will be no room for us. Mind you, they close at 1am on Friday’s. This felt simply racist as it was barely 7:30pm and room full of white people. You mean to tell me no one will be leaving from the time we arrived until 1am? Crazy.
establishment was near empty when we were forced to wait close to 30 minutes while being first in line. We then ordered 3 single slices of pizza (two of the three being plain cheese and plain pepperoni) which came out to 25 dollars; at this price I could have just bought an entire nicely sized pizza from any other pizza place. The excessive pricing wouldn’t have bothered me if the pizza actually tasted good but it might have been the most disappointing pizza I have ever had in my life.
We’ve had two awful experiences. Te first one was 10/2 where we stood at the window before waving someone down for 30 minutes. There’s a guy who wears glasses and a bald guy behind the bar. Both ignored everyone outside… they both looked at us. The guy with glasses even started bussing tables after ignoring the line outside. When we finally waved someone down the bartender guy he “helped us”. Didn’t apologize or anything. We just came in tonight 10/4 at 9:30 pm where the 2 same guys were working but a girl also. We sat down and they all ignored us. When we asked about ordering the girl (who made eye contact with us several tiles and didn’t say anything over come over) rolled her eyes and told us no. The first night was bad but tonight was mind blowing that you tell us no after we had been sitting waiting for someone to come to our table. As a customer and being ignored by staff makes me never want to come back which sucks because we have great experiences when the owners are there and the food is good. But I think it’s important to know the 3 employees that we came into contact with on Thursday and tonight are going to run this business into the ground.
