Being a person who grew up in Southgate and moved away to come and visit I had to stop here the tortillas are to die for like literally so delicious especially when I eat them with chicken,rice,cheese,cream,and don't forget the beans 😋 (personal preference) . So if you visit Southgate and see some of the restaurants that are in the shopping center just know if u looking for some Mexican authentic food it's just about 8 blocks down Firestone from where you at.

The Carnitas Nacho are the absolute BOMB! The chips are fresh made and delicious. The carnitas are seasoned to perfection. The prices are vary reasonable. I look forward to working my way thru their menu 😋

the best lil Mexican restaurant in south gate, authentic and done right.very nice staff and very popular so parking can be difficult but it's worth it. phone in is awesome as you are in & out.the best tacos Dorados plate and my favorite go to is the Chile Verde burrito it's huge and delicious.1 time I forgot my wallet on pick up and to my surprise the lady let go on the honor system no one does that,of course I came back later to play with a full belly and smile and thanking her for trusting me - it's best

Their super asada fries are bomb, its big enough for me and my girlfriend. They do not skimp and their fries are nice and crunchy, (not hard or overcooked though) not soggy at all

If you are looking for extremely large sized burritos.....I recommend this place! They will make special orders, they pay attention and have not made any mistakes on my food. Chicken Burrito (Not Shredded, but they do have shredded) ($10.00) with Guacamole Carnes Asada Burrito ($10.00) with Guacamole. They have a Taco Tuesdays hard shell chicken taco which is incredible. They have re-opened the salsa bar since lockdown.. Now they are providing 2 salsa Rojas, 1 salsa Verde, and 1 salsa tomatilo I would recommend this place to the lovers of Mexican Food.

Camarones a la diabla are really good here. My only suggestion is for them to put the salad on the side and not with the hot shrimp. Other than that amazing flavor and really spicy. Comes with rice and beans and lots of tortillas.

This established is small inside, and get bit to hot in there, its clean and organized, and the food was great, I order 2 plates of asada fries and even though they got confused with my order and they where not making it, in the end after the long wait the food came out good, highly recommend this restaurant.

They really hook it up with the asada burritos... I should call them burrotes cause you really get a lot for your money. Excellent speedy service everytime. And the staff is fantastic.. love this place. 10 /10 will keep coming back here

I love the Carne Asada Fried Burrito from here. Its always bomb as hell. All the food from here is great. Prices r decent. My kids enjoy the Super Fries. Absolutely delicious food. Also open late nite for an after drinking sober me up food. Its the petfect spot everytime.

I tried this place a couple of times and I really enjoyed it. I always order the Super Fries and Super Nachoes, but I also love their Carne Asada Burrito with the large amount of quality ingredients that they add. I highly recommend this place if you want some great Mexican food.

Delicious and they serve you a big portion for a great price. They have a great amount of toppings for your food as well as different sauces. The staff was also very welcoming. Overall a great place to eat at.

*VEGETARIANS* (and everyone else)... Tacos de papas especial 😋 (3 potato hard shell tacos+ drink) I usually get it with the piña but they also have horchata and fountain drinks. They have a plate with 2 potato tacos + rice and beans as well, which is good and I get when I'm in the mood for a plate. Ask for cucumber (pepino), lime and onion and cilantro on the side. Salsa Verde and the extra hot salsa 🥵 I think it's made with habanero and it's bomb 😋🤤 but pretty spicy. Their red salsa is okay, just not my usual go-to in any place. It's small but everyone is chill and they take phone orders. There's also seating in the little patio area. Not sure, but I don't think there's a restroom. Be careful parking on the street (Firestone) during certain times. You will get a ticket. Check the sign.

Great amount of food for your buck. I've tried the chilaquiles at other Albert's, but the ones here are somehow superior. I also read somewhere that they don't put rice and beans in their asada burritos? That's false. I always get the burritos and they always come with rice and beans. But yeah green chilaquiles are the best, and I slap on their chile rojo on that mug 🤌🏻

Place is awesome great delicious authentic Mexican food at prices that you can pig out all you want. No kidding. Came here 3 weeks ago for the 1st time from North Carolina and i wasn't disappointed. Great friendly staff and the salsa bar was on point.

Their beef soup was spectacular. I have also tried the wet burrito it's very good. I enjoyed it. You guys have to try their seasoned fried jalapenos; very spicy and delicious.

Great customer service as soon as you walk in you get greeted that doesn't happen often at other places I have gone. I got asada fries a burrito and a large orchata. Bomb it was so good I forgot to take pictures. I differently recommend anyone to come here you won't regret it. I will be coming back. Thank you

The food is very delicious, however they need to do maintenance for their car wash they need to have air blower stronger. The pressure washer is not strong and they have missing tire cleaner that is broken. If they get it fixed that would be a game changer. I would appreciate if they do take action to fix the car wash equipment. Also they should add debit card to accept payment they accept coins only.

My son always gets the asada fries with everything and loves them. I tried the chicken taquitos with guacamole and cheese, they were perfectas fried, a little too much cheese but I could have asked for less I guess. Overall, food was delicious.

Food is great ,, the carne asada is tasty and not full of fat or skin, the Burritos the meat is good , but they tradionally put pico de Gallo and Guacamole but it makes it too soggy or limp, i take mines with rice and beans, but it would be nice if it had rice beans and a little guacamole and pico de Gallo without any extra cost,, just my thought ,,, but regardless their carne asada burritos are good.

Los alberts mexican food is good for brunch breakfast or either lunch I usually get the big super asada fries burrtio really recommend it the nachos and the other version of there burrtios too and get either red or green sauce but for me my opinion the red sauce is better and to drink the coca cola can but get the mexican coke bottle even better yes go here when you are hungry give it a try and give then a good review too really good food you get what you pay for and decent portions too

I got the beef soup, very tasty, and the meat was tender. Also a burrito with asada. They will let you mix and match the meats. For example.: you can make a burrito with adobada with chorizo. They were polite. Inside is pretty small like 2 or 3 tables but they also have a patio with tables outside But mostly people just order to go.. .

Albert's consistently delivers great food and speedy service. While other restaurants with the same name may fall short, Albert's shines. The only downside is the limited parking, but the delicious food makes it worth the effort.

It’s a place to pick up your order mainly. I asked for a breaded fish tacho plate and it has fresh ingredients it was warm and enough amount of food. I’m a good eater. Kudos for the guys cooking, and the attendant she was nice and polite. Just one thing for improving but sometimes it is not possible and I understand, is They do not have public restrooms. But food and service are good and no too expensive. Fair price.

Great bang for your buck. The amount of food for what you pay is insane. The quality is fair. But, for the price you pay what do you expect. They have great combos, 2 sopes and soda for 6$+, torta, fries, and soda for 8$. The carne asada fries are delicious and even better wrapped as a 18" burrito for 10$.

Their foods is okay. Its kind of americanized mexicana style food but I think thats the draw. I love their carne asada fries and their super nachos are tasty as well. If your looking for good old fashioned comida casera then you might want to go elsewhere but if you want tasty americanized Mexican style dishes, Alberts is the place to go.

I come here for the chicken taquitos plate. It's delicious. I get it with a side of rice and beans and sometimes I add lettuce for a better experience. I've also tried the super nachos which are very good. The fish taco and shrimp taco are a great fresh option. If you're thinking about coming here stop thinking and just give it a try. Don't forget the Large Horchata!

I always get the carne asada fries here because not only are they cheap but they also have great serving times and seatings. The only thing i would say is bad is the service itself because they are always in a rush and in a "hurry up n get out of my face" mood

The food and portions here are great. A lot of food options too. The staff was great on my visit. The chefs talked to us to make sure what we wanted when they had to substitute a sope for a taco. The only only bad thing is the parking, which there is very little of and it is shared with the car wash behind it, and the sitting area is tiny and cramped. They have more spacious outdoor seating, but it's still small. If there are a lot of people ordering things get cramped really quick. But the wait isn't bad as they cook relatively quickly.

One of the better quality/tasting Alberto's spin offs. Prices are a few dollars over other restaurants of its kind but overall it's worth the price. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

Been coming here bout 5 years now just came recently orxerd 4 boxes of asada fries. 2 years ago they were a lil better the meat was really full of fat and it wasnt as flavorful as it use to be maybe was just the cook that night buy would be nice if they cleaned out the fat chunks in the asada meat ..

Super fries - Contain fries from Mc.Donalds with no seasonings, guacamole, beans and sour cream that overpower the flavors of the Carne Asada. You literally have to chew on chiles to make it bearable to eat.

They do not put beans and rice in their burrito":( so we went with the nachos they were okay I've had better and churro cheesecake bites were soggy

Food is always good and prices are fair Update 2021. I am lowering my review after this my last visit. I ordered super nachos and switched the meat to cabeza. I was expecting a 1 or 2 dollar charge but when I got the bill it was $4.99 extra. WHAT A RIP OFF!!!!

Very pricey and the tacos fell apart when I got them.they only use one tortilla and it's barely heated. I got the torta special with fries and a drink and 2 tacos and paid like 22 dollars . Flavor was good but the milanesa torta had a super thin layer of milanesa. Mostly bread. Fries were the small skinny ones like the ones you get in elementary schools cafeterias.

CA Burrito ordered was so greasy I was not able to eat it. The meat portion was as if they scraped the stove for the last bit of crumbs. It was awful!!!

This place has good food but employees that apparently dont care about there customers health so is it really worth it to risk ones life to get it? I ordered carne asada fries today and to my suprise when i was pulling up a man got out of his mini van without a face covering. The whole time i told myself that he is going to put his mask on before entering. Well he did not and was allowed to enter the establishment even though they say with signs posted on the door that you will not be allowed inside with out one. I inconveniently waited for the man to pick up his order and leave before i went inside. When i did go inside i confronted the cashier who clearly spoke english and let her know what i just witnessed at that point she pretended to not know english and look nervously around and left the front area i never saw her again and they put another cashier there who also was not wearing gloves as well as the cooks preparing the food. Everyone in the business did not seem to care about it. I dont think i will ever go back here as they are clearly not following rules and guidelines that were put in olace to protect you, your parents, your grand parents, and your children. They need to be reported to the powers that be to stop tuis potentially dangerous tactics that this place takes part in. Please stay away for your saftey.

This place is a joke. I called to place a phone order, went and picked it up. The cashier asks me if I have cash because their card reader hasn't been working all day. At no point when I called was that shared. Walked out of here without my order, could have gone back with cash but yall don't get my business today, and probably not many others.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Since when do you have to pay extra for beans and rice in a burrito? All of a sudden, those two usually standard ingredients are a luxury addition to the burrito! For an extra 1/4 of the menu price. To top it all off, the ratio of carne to arroz is mighty suspect. I guess if you opt for beans and rice, they make sure you feel like you getting your money's worth. I would not recommend dining at this particular Los Albert's location if you don't make at least $4,000.00/mo. I think the extra cost goes to sending their employees to charm school, where they fail out miserably.
