Got the Chicken Tikka, with a garlic naan. The chicken was soft, and succulent with a mix of white, and dark meat. The sauce was perfectly fragranced with spices, while being rounded off by a tangy creaminess. It came with free basmati fennel rice that helped cut the richness of the entire meal kindly. Garlic naan was nicely charred without it being taken too far, not only was the garlic and herbs rolled into the bread but, they also topped it with more! What set this all off though, was the complimentary vegetables, and rich freshly spiced yogurt, bright citrusy lemongrass mint chutney 🤤 all for $19!? If you're looking for your new go to for Indian food, please don't pass on this location. I will absolutely be back! 🥰

I love this restaurant because it has fantastic food. Just make sure not too eat too much at the buffets because, too much makes you sick. Always go two plates maximum. I learned that the hard way. It is superb, but it makes you feel fat afterwards. The Sunday brunches are also fantastic

Best Indian food. Great customer service which is rare if you've ever been to many Indian restaurant. Buffet is bad. I once got spoiled food in buffet. Don't eat buffet. Customer service is a little below power when they're having an event but that's understandable.

Just went here the second time. For some reason they do NOT have the buffet listed on their website. I know it's 11:30-3PM weekdays, but call ahead to be sure. It was $16.50 today (Feb 2025) and very much worth it. Don't try to call morning of - they are terrible at answering the phone 😂 They had vegetable dishes, paneer, goat, butter chicken and tandoori chicken top quality, at such a good price. Nice kheer for dessert. You all need to help them get people to come here because they clearly don't have enough lunch diners. They are putting out this beautiful buffet and if you eat in, you're eating almost alone. Don't miss out on this, don't let it slip away.

We group of 5 from Long Island passing by Richmond hill saw this place from outside , thought why this place looks closed at dinner time . Open front door and saw literally empty . But anyway still Want to try new place Indian food . But Awesome yummy home cook food with excellent service and clean atmosphere . Definitely want to go again on weekend .

This place deserves 5 star rating on Google . It was my 3rd visit and every time best service and very delicious food. If you really craving Indian food with different flavors with both veg and non-veg then must try here . If you are going at buffet time , keep yourself hungry. Highly recommend and worth it.

Very friendly and customer friendly staff!! The food is halal, the venue is always kept clean and up to a Royal standard! The employees try their best to accommodate you and your eating needs, prices are very reasonable , you can take your meals to go or you can stay and eat in, your choice. Now it's a family-run business apparently, and the owner is the uncle that created India Cafe in Richmond and Floral Park previously. He sold both those establishments and said his only focus is now on Royal India Palace, and you can tell ... the food is great.

Our parents have been bringing us here when we were little kids, through out our life we have been supporting and enjoying there food! They have always delivery friendly service, clean environment and delicious fresh food! A must try if you are looking for very good indian food is the Butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, chicken korma, the brown dhal and spinach are my little sister and I's favorite! My mom and brother enjoy the goat curry and chicken tikka!

I went to this Indian restaurant for buffet lunch.. They advertise that there are at least 10 different items, which there were. They was tandoori chicken, chicken marsala, white rice, goat, watermelon, lettuce, sliced carrots and cucumbers, creamed spinach, mixed vegetables in red sauce, raita, tamarind sauce, onion chutney, mint chutney, and a few other vegetarian dishes. Dessert was rice pudding. Hot bread was brought over to the table. Everything was very good. I felt that the tandoori chicken was a little dried out but that was probably due to the fact that it was on the buffet table. The waiter brought over the bread and a pitcher of water. Then disappeared. The staff was friendly. He brought me, lemon when I asked for it. It was $9 total including tax. Not bad for lunch.

Organized a couple of events here such as birthday parties, anniversaries and family get-togethers. The place is clean and has upscale feeling to it. The food is really good. The staff is courteous and can go out of the way to help you. Manager Gurmit deserves special mention, he really knows what he is doing and guides you through the menu selection as well as helps you with the restaurant layout and is very flexible and easy to work with.

My favorite Indian spot in queens so far!! Everything is great. Definitely get the chicken tikka masala with alot of naan. Curry fish is great as well I can go on and on. Will not be disappointed

This is a great place for lunch specials, the buffet has a nice line up of choices. Clean environment with friendly staff that actually remembers my husband each time we visit on Tuesdays. Only reason I gave 4 stars, is because I find it rude that management disciplines staff in front of guests. On many occasions I witnessed staffed getting yelled at and it is uncomfortable to listen or even watch while you’re trying to enjoy a meal. Overall, the food is delicious and consistent. Give them a try!

I wanted to do a take out order by phone but was unable to get the ingredients in the dishes over the phone. Thank goodness 😅 I was staying in the hotel next door. Once I went in person, I was very happy with the detailed descriptions of the menu items and their ingredients. If you are vegetarian or vegan there are a few menu delicious options. Overall I was very satisfied with the food quality and I was able to do take out even though I did have to go in to make the order.

I thought the food was pretty good. I normally don't eat buffets cuz I don't feel the quality is usually the same when you order a specific plate. But this was pretty good. And because it's buffet the price was really good compared to how much you could get. Overall I would do it again.

I personally wouldn't have a sweet 16 there but it was ok. It really depends what your looking for. It was pretty elegant not extremely but in between. Some space. You would have to pick if you want your party there.

Their buffet was okay. The spinach and butter chicken was great but the goat was a little tough and had a slight aftertaste for my liking.

Food was awesome, customer service wasn't so great tho. Place was kept ok and honestly their price was not bad. It was my first time there. I'm going there again soon for a bigger party. I'll update this if anything changes.

My husband loves the chickens biryani, however when we placed the order through uber eats, they mostly forget the salad. I have called them numerous times about it, their answer is always the same “I am sorry “ or “ chicken biryani does not come with salad “ They try to always make something up for their mistake. Be prepared when your order is placed in uber eats, they will always forget something, because their money is upfront and it cannot be returned. It seems to me they take advantage of the situation.

I went yesterday to get the chicken biryani for take out.and they gave me biryani that had red meat.chicken is white meat.so either lamb or goat they give me.which I don’t even eat goat 😒

Nice hall but it was freezing. I was shivering and had to put on my coat inside the hall. Would definitely recommend turning up the heat and ensuring that the main door is closed. It was colder in the hall than it was outside. The hall is nice inside. Each table fits about 10 people. The food was excellent. I think that was the highlight of the event. Everything was tasty. I'm not sure if the people at the hall catered the food but if they did I'd definitely go back here!

Best deal for lunch. I really enjoyed the options. I dont know if the style of this location is a regional style but the food needed that umph.... the chicken tandoori needs two more days of marinating before cooking. The lamb Rogan Josh was well boiled but the sauce could of been thicker. Can accommodate large groups. Clean. I'll return in 6 months to see if any changes.

Got there for the event and the staff was just sitting around. I thought they were guest until they got up. No a ugly hall bit not a classy one either. They had ripped curtains and chipped tiles. Overall not an extravagant experience and I would not host an event here.

I had to come and add a review , not the food but the extra price they added on 3 dollars for for chicken shiquab and tandoori, wow . 15.99 for each and chicken samosa which was not listed as 10.00 . I am quite surprised, we always order but the same things and they price just change .

I am not sure if the business changed compare to before. I had my wedding reception there and they waited until the last minute to change their agreement with us. That is you have to PAY for everything in advance before the reception. The original agreement was that we pay half in advance and a half at the end of the event. Everything was fine with their service toward the end, but I cannot imagine some else going though where "Royal India Palace" does not honor their agreement.

Today I when they’re with my family we was 16 people . There service wasn’t that good . They take really long time for food.when we want to pay by bill was 956:93 . When ask the how come then I check my receipt they put 135.76 tips but my Question is I Supposed to pay that tips whatever amount I want ,they not supposed to tell me how much I have to pay for the tip and 2nd think they charge for the salad 18 Dollars . U know they just give onions in the salad . I I don’t recommend people go there and paying more money

There seafood 'shrimp' was unmarked at the buffet I found out the hard way that the food i had eaten was shrimp when within 5 minutes my eyes started swelling and I had to run to the bathroom and vomit. I also had a friend who worked in the kitchen and told me of his experience working at this venue & his concerns of improper food handling.

Called to ask if they have buffet, they said yes and told me the price, once I got there after a 20 min drive they said no they don’t have buffet!

The food was ok , the price was raise and the portion of the food was little. I would not recommend to eat there. The employees have no mask on, they serving the food with out a mask and talking over the food.

My husband and I decided to order from this restaurant but a big mistake we made!! We ordered chicken makni and chicken tikka masala… the price on the internet menu was incorrect compared to the Real Menu!! And when we got home the chicken in the gravy was RAW!!! Waste of money . First I thought maybes it 1 piece or so but no the whole dish both had raw uncooked tandoori chicken pieces in them . We felt upset but no choice was late so our kids and us just ate with the gravy . Not going to order from them again and I warn others as well.

My roommates and I ordered food online. Not only did the food take two hours to arrive, much longer than the expected delivery time, but our order was wrong. When we asked for a refund, they refused to provide one. The fact that they wouldn't give us a refund is ridiculous. We're never ordering from here again;

If I can give this reception hall and staff a negative review I will but I don’t have the option. I will never rent or recommend this place to anyone. The manager that I talked to is not responsible at all. I was on him for weeks to get the seating layout for a event so I can assign seats to ppl, he keep sending the wrong layout to me....he eventually sent it the week of the event and then changed it the day of the event with out letting me know which caused a lot of confusion. He turned off the A/C on us during the event because he said that we had too much ppl which was BS because I brought the amount of ppl agreed upon. He also said that they provide unlimited soda, which was a fat lie, we had to go and buy soda because the stopped providing. The guy that handles the decoration for the hall is another one that was not helpful. They only want money but not providing the service for it. I have been trying to communicate with him but he don’t respond, so the day of the event he then tells me that that he can’t do want I wanted so I had to decide on a different design when I had a million things to do and didn’t need additional stress. He didn’t remember what we had talked about for the tables as well and was not prepared to decorate it so I had less stuff from what we first talked about. Bottom line, pay a little more money and go somewhere else.

Today me and My Husband with our one year old went inside of this place for dinner knowing it was Indian we asked what kinds of Indian food did they serve and if we could get a menu and the guy that was on the phone a tall Indian guy with a very very nasty attitude answered us like he did not want us there.I asked him for a menu and he told me just have a seat in a very rude way. and I said can I see the menu before I have a seat and his attitude Was extremely rude and evil so I just told him never mind

This restaurant is absolutely the worst! They only care about taking your money and don’t follow any instructions. I specifically wrote notes, but they ignored everything. The papri chaat I got was a complete joke—they just put some chana on papri and gave it to me. I have never had such a terrible papri chaat in my life. There are many good Indian restaurants in this neighborhood, but the service, management, and ownership at this place are absolutely ridiculous. I walked in and told them I’d like to try their buffet. After I took a small sampler plate, the waiter came over and told me they were closing the buffet soon and that I should take whatever I wanted before they put it away. I asked why he hadn’t mentioned that before I sat down, and he just looked at me and walked off. I took some food, but it was cold. I asked for a container to take it home, and they refused. When I asked to speak with the manager, they said he was busy on the phone. I waited while he stood in the corner talking in Hindi and laughing—clearly aware of me standing there. I called out to him three times. After 20 minutes, he finally came over and told me there’s no takeout allowed for the buffet. He also claimed to be one of the owners. I explained what had happened, and instead of apologizing, he accused me of threatening the waiter with a negative review—which I hadn’t done. Then, once he realized I had been there before, he brought me a container. But at that point, I told him I no longer wanted the food. I didn’t want to eat it later and feel all the stress and disrespect all over again. Just to be clear: I make over half a million dollars a year. I wasn’t looking for any favors or free food—I simply wanted to enjoy a warm, unrushed meal, with basic courtesy and professionalism.
