We had our wedding reception at Level 10 in Spartanburg and it will forever hold such a special place in our hearts. 🤍 We come back for every special occasion and they never fail to impress us. The food is always incredible, the atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, and the service is consistently top tier. This time, our waitress Kristina was absolutely amazing! She was attentive, warm, and made the entire experience feel even more special. You can tell she genuinely cares. If you’re looking for the perfect place to celebrate something meaningful (or just enjoy an incredible night out), Level 10 is it. We’ll be back again and again!
Rick Erwin’s Level 10 in Spartanburg is nothing short of outstanding. From the moment you step in, the atmosphere feels elegant yet welcoming, with beautiful views that perfectly complement the upscale setting. The food was absolutely phenomenal—each dish was perfectly prepared, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. You can truly tell that only the highest-quality ingredients are used, and the attention to detail in every course was impressive. What truly elevated the evening, however, was our server Heather.Hands down the best service I’ve ever experienced. Professional, warm, knowledgeable, and perfectly attentive without ever being intrusive. Every recommendation was spot-on, and we felt genuinely taken care of from start to finish. Rick Erwin’s Level 10 sets the standard for fine dining in Spartanburg. Incredible food, flawless service, and a memorable experience all around. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-tier dining experience.
Level 10 is one of the few high-end, fine dining restaurants in Spartanburg. This was our first visit, and the restaurant did not disappoint. Our server, Amy, was excellent - knowledgeable, personable, and attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere is tastefully decorated with simple elegance and the best views in the city. After our experience, I consider Level 10 an optimal place to celebrate any special event, and the restaurant takes special care to recognize the special time for the patrons. The menu has options for all tastes, and our selections were well prepared and seasoned - the key is that the steaks were cooked exactly to order. The level of service and attention offered by the staff is refreshingly consistent and the attention given to the diners is palpable. We look forward to our next visit. Well worth the experience.
I had a wonderful date night with my wife at this restaurant many times! The views from the balcony are great! And the food is phenomenal! Always a good time! The hostess Estella greeted us kindly and our waiter Liya made great recommendations for food! We will be back again!
Absolutely phenomenal experience at Level 10! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and elegance. The ambiance and view was perfect for a romantic evening. The staff was incredibly attentive, catering to our every need without being intrusive. The food was divine, each dish a masterpiece of flavor and presentation. The wine selection complemented our meal perfectly. Overall, it was a flawless evening thanks to the impeccable service and exquisite cuisine. We'll definitely be returning for more memorable date nights!
Excellent restaurant in Spartanburg. The 3 course was very worth it. Coming from the fine dining in Hilton Head and Savannah Level 10 in Spartanburg holds it's own with some of the best in SC.
We had a wonderful time last night on our first visit to Level10! It was out of this world fantastic from the moment we walked in until the moment we said our goodbyes to our server. My husband and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary yesterday and we both feel we picked the perfect place to do so. We had 7pm reservations and were seated immediately upon being greeted by the hostesses. The lowlight and the candle on our table paired with high back booths created the perfect ambiance for an intimate dinner. As amazing as the restaurant itself and all of our food was, our server was definitely the highlight of the night! We had Tam and she gave us an incredible experience. I don’t think we would have enjoyed ourselves as much as we did if we had had any other server. Tam is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to the menu which I really appreciated as I have some dietary restrictions. She was able to make suggestions, most of which we went with and were happy that we did. She really sold us on the fried green tomatoes when she told us about the cheese blend in the pimiento cheese! We also really appreciated her attention to detail. We were offered champagne or dessert to celebrate our anniversary. We ended up trying both the crème brûlée and the key lime pie. Tam mentioned our anniversary to the dessert chef who put details on each dish that really made our night special. For our entrées my husband got the salmon with root vegetable hash and asparagus. He was VERY pleased. I ordered several sides but the brussel sprouts were by far my favorite. Not every restaurant has brussel sprouts and those that do aren’t always good but Level10 does them right. We will be back soon just for the brussel sprouts! Thank you Level10 for a great anniversary dinner and thank you Tam for a great experience. We appreciate the time you took at our table helping us order, the GREAT conversation and even you insisiting on taking photos for us before we left! We will certainly be back and we hope Tam will serve us again.
My husband and I came on Saturday to celebrate his birthday and this was the BEST choice we made. We were welcomed by friendly staff and once we got to the table a birthday card was waiting on him. Our server Tam was phenomenal. She is truly the gem of this establishment. From the introductions she went over and beyond our whole time there and it was an amazing experience. She was very attentive, friendly and I appreciate the time she gave us in between our courses so we didn't feel rush. We truly had an amazing five star dining experience with her. She brought us champagne toast for his birthday and even took us to the balcony when the sun was setting and got great pictures for us. The food was just as great. The chargrilled oysters are soo good and the fried green tomatoes. I had the filet with Mashed Potatoes and Asparagus and my husband had the wet age ribeye. I don't know how we had room for dessert but we managed to also enjoy the Crème Brulé and key lime pie. This was our first time visiting and won't be our last for sure. This ambience of the restaurant with great customer service and mouth watering dishes deserves a 10/10. Tam I hope you get those Hamilton tickets because you deserve them!
The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was pleasant. We enjoyed everything. My husband loved the bison steak he ordered, and the calamari was also very tasty. Additionally, the crab soup was incredibly flavorful.
We celebrated an anniversary here recently. The food was not only delicious, but their crab cake was the best I've ever had!! There was a bit of confusion about the water options and we unexpectedly paid for an $8 bottle of mineral water. I'm happy we ate at the start of the evening because the wait time was substantial when we were leaving. While it was too hot to dine outside, the views were beautiful!
Rick Erwin’s Level 10 is an absolute gem in Spartanburg! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was second to none. Our server, Gracen, made the entire experience unforgettable. She was friendly, outgoing, and incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing. Gracen went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect—her energy and genuine care made us feel right at home. The food and drinks were outstanding, but the service truly set the evening apart. If you’re looking for a top-notch dining experience in Spartanburg, I can’t recommend Level 10 enough—and be sure to ask for Gracen, she’s amazing!
Just a beautiful & relaxing atmosphere. Excellent service & excellent food. Everything I have ever tried has been delicious. Steaks are perfect. This is a must try. You will love it!
I was brought here for my birthday dinner today. I had never been here before, so I didn't know what to expect. I have absolutely no complaints. The food was AMAZING! The staff were so sweet and kind. They had signed a birthday card for me and a delicious creme Brule. The drinks were great as well. I cant wait to take my husband for our anniversary.
Went there tonight for our 25th anniversary. It was our first visit. The service was spot on from the moment we walked in! The servers were attentive and very kind. They offered to take photos of us for our anniversary. We were even served champagne and cheesecake! Such a perfect day, the food was magnificent. We ordered the potato croquettes, filet mignon, asparagus, whipped potatoes and shrimp. Everything was cooked perfectly. Absolute perfection. We have found out new “ go to” for a special occasion.
My husband and I went to dinner the other night here and it was fantastic! Rick Erwin's level on 10 is a gem! My husband ordered the steak with a side of baked mac and cheese and I ordered the sesame crusted salmon. We had the calamari appetizer and homemade bread. It was delicious! We were well taken care of by Deanna and Maddy. Their hospitality in addition to the atmosphere and good food made our experience memorable and fun. We would highly recommend Rick Erwin's level on 10 for anyone wanting a genuinely superb dining experience.
Did not know Rick Erwin had a roof top bar in Spartanburg. Really enjoyed sitting outside.
Happy Birthday to my mother. Mother's choice for her birthday and it was a treat for all! Whit and Deana made sure we didn't miss a beat from appetizers to cutting our brought in birthday cake! We had a party of 10 from 6 yrs old to 85 and everyone had a great experience. Appetizers were calamari, shrimp cocktail, and Nola Shrimp. All had rave reviews. The calamari was so tender it melted in your mouth. Some of our main meals were surf & turf with lobster tails, shrimp gnocchi, and duck those folks were all the clean plate club award recipients. Shareable sides I strongly support ordering the Mac and Cheese it was macalicious! The bread deserves an encore as well. All around rave reviews. Thanks for making my moms birthday super special.
It was our anniversary. We were greeted with happy anniversary when we walked in. Our server greeted us the same. We recorded a card signed by the staff. The food was more than we expected in Spartanburg. In fact, this is a restaurant that tastes with those from Scottsdale, Az. The Ceasar Salad...oh my, truly the best!
Great experience and food. The waitress was very attentive and had many suggestions and answered our questions since it was our first time. We told them we were celebrating an anniversary so they brought us a glass of champagne for a toast which was a great way to start off! We began with the She Crab soup and Grilled oysters and they were great! My wife and I both chose the surf and turf for our main course and we were not disappointed! The steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly and the asparagus was cooked Al dente like I like it (my wife prefers more cooked but it’s a preference, lol). The chef stopped by the table only a couple of bites in to ask how our meal was which was pretty nice too! We finished off with dessert and since we couldn’t make up our minds, we had Crème brûlée and bread pudding. Both were fantastic! Because we were seated in a room with no view (only downside), we moved out on the patio for after dinner drinks and were able to sit alone and catch some pretty amazing sunset pictures. Overall, the experience was great and the food was fantastic. It is a little pricey, but for the name and location, that is to be expected. We would certainly go back again!
We really enjoyed our Valentines Day dinner here! We had the she crab soup, Porterhouse steak, crab cakes, and crème brûlée. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft in the center. The wine choices were great! The service was also great. I highly recommend for a delicious special occasion restaurant!
My wife, I and friends ate her for her birthday. We made reservations and was able to sit outside. It was beautiful!! Our server was Madeline who gave us great recommendations on drinks and food. For an appetizer we had the crab fritters and Brussel sprouts. I also had the She Crab Soup. For dinner my wife had the Signature Surf and Turf and I had Blackened Grouper. Both were terrific!! For dessert we had the crème brûlée. Overall, the ambiance, service, food and drinks were all great!! I would recommend coming here and ask for Madeline for your server!!
Absolutely enjoy my experience at level 10 always. The service is always great. The bartenders are all amazing. Irina always takes care of me when I come up and so does the manager Kieth. I have been coming to level 10 for the past four years. I have always had the best experience. One of the most elegant places I enjoy. Professional service and amazing food. Love the environment and atmosphere
My bartender Bonnie was absolutely amazing! She was very friendly and took great care of me. She gave me a drink recommendation that was delicious. The service, food, drinks and atmosphere are 10/10!!
Summer Galina and Mary Kate are amazing professionals but sweet souls! Further their manager, Keith Anderson is Loved by his staff and a humble hero.
The staff is first rate. They had each other’s backs and stayed calm and collected on a very busy service with demanding clientele. Great wine recommendations and thoughtful cocktail prep by Colin, Peyton, and the lovely long-time woman bar tender who fielded a particularly grumpy patron with grace (so sorry did not get her name). Dinner service by Amy was friendly, kind and professional. When we are in town we will be back!
Stopped in to place a to go order for my wife and I. Host sat me nicely at the bar, and bartender served me a beverage instantly. Spoke with another server who took my order. Mentioned my wife and I having a new baby, and our current stay at the hospital being prolonged. They went above and beyond to cater to my situation while providing 5 star food. We ordered the three part meal. Everything was spot on, still hot and fresh when I arrived back to the hospital with our meal. What an amazing place. They care for details, and have a great personality to top it. The rooftop view is amazing and gives a quality view of the city. I would recommend them any day. Best restraunt in Spartanburg. Thank you again for a great experience.
Level 10 is the best spot for drinks with a great view! Had a good time celebrating Valentine’s Day up there. Galina and Mary Cate took very good care of us.
Danielle was a very attentive and kind server! Really made our dinner experience special and kept everything running smoothly. She even helped me find a vintage broach that I lost at dinner. 10/10! Thanks Danielle.
My parents and I came to this restaurant for my birthday. Our second server Liya was kind and very attentive. The manager made us feel welcomed. The food was delicious. It didn’t disappoint.
We went for our wedding anniversary and the food, the ambiance and the service..ALL AMAZING. Kristina was our server and she was the absolute best. She made the night extra special. 5 stars...
My husband and I enjoyed a lovely fine dining experience last evening at Level 10. Heather and all her various helpers helped to make it an especially elevated experience. We both had the filet prefix meal during Restaurant Week. It's been awhile since I've enjoyed such an elegant dining experience. Heather made it especially enjoyable by sharing her childhood experience in Hilton head, a place we are headed to now. Highly recommend Level 10.
Had an amazing experience and meal wall in town for a play. I have the salmon and she-crab soup with some mashed potatoes on the side and she had the shrimp gnocchi. Both were amazing and I would definitely go back for the gnocchi. For the desert, we had an espresso martini and creme brulee. I wouldn't recommend the creme brulee, it was not good, and we get this all the time for desert at other places. Overall, would recommend and we plan on going back again soon!
One of the best spots in Spartanburg. Great views, food, drinks and the most gorgeous, amazing, spectacular bartenders and management. Keith looked like Cupid tonight in his vibrant red suit. Mary cate and Galina went above and beyond for me and my date.
Great flavorful food! Prices you’d expect. I’d recommend coming here if you want to stick to Spartanburg. Only reason I gave it a 4 star is because I’d recommend other places in Greenville.
I am only giving four stars because I have to have a reason to come back. My meal was excellent. Fried green tomatoes taken down a new path, a great starter. Second, Grouper: moist, crisp, and divine. I did a tasting of the white wines by the glass and all were excellent. The service was top notch the atmosphere lovely. I can not wait to come back. And I want you to visit too. This is the new South with a big scope of the old, the good ole South.
Rick Ervins- Level 10 Spartanburg we had a mixed, but overall decent, experience. Our waiter was excellent — attentive, professional, and personable. He did a great job navigating what seemed to be a busy evening and kept us informed, especially when we were told the kitchen was running behind. His service was truly the highlight of the night. That said, the supporting staff fell short of what you would expect at this price point. For a restaurant positioning itself as an upscale experience, I was surprised to have to ask for a water refill. Small details like that matter when you’re paying for fine dining. As for the food, the steak, lobster, and crab cakes were absolutely worth it — well-prepared and flavorful. Unfortunately, the cream potatoes were disappointing. They were overly salty and had a texture and taste reminiscent of instant potatoes. It’s possible the plate sat too long due to the kitchen delay, but either way, it didn’t meet expectations. We were told that next time we could substitute a vegetable instead, which I would definitely consider. Given that our visit was so close to a holiday, I’m willing to extend some grace and give them another chance. However, being within driving distance of Charlotte and Greenville, both of which offer excellent high-end dining options, I would be hard-pressed for me to choose this location regularly outside of sheer convenience to where I live. With some attention to service consistency and kitchen timing, this place has the potential to truly compete at the level it’s priced for.
Food is ok. Shrimp cocktail is what is. The fried tomatoes n potato appetizer are fine. Salads n soups are solid. She crab soup a little heavy on the liquor. Steaks, salmon and stuffed chicken were on point. Service here was head and shoulders above others. Fantastic service
For an upscale restaurant it missed the mark by a lot. The food was yummy but the service was seriously lacking. Disappointed that our main courses were brought out at different timings; a table's entrées should be served together not spaced several minutes apart. The waitress was not attentive and had to be asked multiple times for drinks which she forgot just as many times. She disappeared far too many times and for far too long. As it was a week night the restaurant was not very busy at all, only a hand full of tables on the patio, one table inside, and a few patrons at the bar. The view was spectacular! I'd go back for some of the food and the view but I'd leave it to other restaurants for the fine dinning experience. We ordered appetizers, entrées, and desserts which took right at about two and a half hours for everything to be delivered because of the gorgeous sunset view I didn't mind as much as I would have without it.
We’ve dined here before and previously had stellar service, which made this visit especially disappointing. While the food was very good and lived up to expectations, the service was extremely slow throughout the entire meal. We waited a long time between courses and an unreasonable amount of time just to get the check and pay. For an upscale restaurant, that level of delay is frustrating and unacceptable. The quality of the food is there, but the service on this visit did not match the standard we experienced before.
The atmosphere was amazing. The service was ok but the waitress did not come by often at all. We had calamari for our appetizer which was ok, but im weird with texture. The duck was really good but the lamb was not! I definitely do not recommend the lamb it tasted terrible. I will not eat lambshank again, this completely ruined my experience for lamb! My margaritas were delicious. Overall if you have $120 to spend go ahead and give it a shot but i do not recommend this nearly as much as most places i have been! For as nice of a 5 star atmosphere we had a less than ideal experience!
I had wanted to try out this place for years. We finally did for Valentine’s. We were seated quickly and the restaurant was nice, but nothing spectacular. The dress code clearly states no hats, so the hubs left his at home, yet we saw multiple patrons wearing hats. The wait staff was kind, courteous, and attentive. But the prices? Way too high. My husband ordered a $79 steak and had to pay $4 for some garlic butter. It was ordered medium rare and came out medium. Almost everything was à la carte. The food was decent but for the price, I expected MUCH better. We paid close to $300 (including tip) for a steak, crab cakes, two sides, one app, one dessert, 2 drinks and a glass of wine. My drink was weak and the wine glass smelled like a wet dog. I really think this place has potential but really needs to step up their game if they are going to charge those prices 🤷🏼♀️
Found a live worm in the oysters. Had some debris in the wine. Servers were absent and inattentive. We left before the entre arrived. The atmosphere was nice and Christmasy. Based on what I read online, the worm in the oyster indicates bad hygiene in the food prep. I wouldn't trust any food here.
The only thing good at this restaurant is the food, but the service and the atmosphere was absolutely horrible, especially for such an upscale restaurant. We waited twenty minutes for someone to geet us and bring us water and then on top of it they have a dress code that they did not enforce as there were adults and kids with flip flops, shorts, and t-shirts on, as well. Also, there were children screaming very loadly and running around the restaurant, which we brought this to our waitress' and the manger's attention and all they did was say sorry, but they did nothing to correct the situation. We were celebrating our thirteenth wedding anniversary and my husband passing a big huge test, which our evening was completely ruined at that point. The manager said he would do something for us, but he did nothing for us at all. We will never go back to this restaurant ever again, but I truly believe if they got new management it could be a really wonderful restaurant, though.
I turned 37 years old one 9/24/25 and this is my first time giving a negative review in my lifetime. Typically, if I have a bad experience I will simply never go back to that place. I only get on here to give positive reviews but this is just different. My birthday experience here was atrocious and I am embarrassed for RICK IRWIN. It started this our drink orders which they just could not seem to get right but hey... we looked past that. It was than followed up with the wrong salad, but again, we also looked past that. The waitress could not answer one SINGLE QUESTION on the entire menu and said she was just hired but again, we looked past that. However, it was then capped off by the entre which was steak that was so raw it was REFRIDGERATOR COLD on the inside and completely rare and just an FYI it was ordered MEDIUM RARE. There was actually no manager that night so a gentleman who works the bar Colin (Very Nice guy) stepped in because they had no one else. He did his best to correct the situation and I can appreciate that but it does not change the fact it was that all it was a worst dinning experience I have every had in my entire lifetime. None of our meals were good except for the bread, the wine and oh, the view was nice. The mash potatoes were lumpy and cold, the salmon was dry, one of the orders was wrong and the biggest issue was a RAW REFRIDGERATOR COLD STEAK. Never experienced anything like this and yes, I shared my experience with every single person at my job today who asked about my birthday. I will never go back to any Rick Irwin steak house in any location and still in shock over the whole experience, what a disappointment.
Went for Christmas Eve dinner. Evening started fine, but shortly thereafter our waitress disappeared for at least 30 minutes. We watched her attend to other tables while completely if ignoring others. Ordered a steak well done and came out medium. Waitress was no where to be found to send it back. Went through dinner with no water and empty wine glasses. Had to ask for bread twice and never received it. Spoke to manager and Rick and both did absolutely nothing lol. The only thing Rick said was to “please give us another chance.” Then they proceeded to give us a full bill which was only altered after we demanded it be. Honestly save your money, go to Peddler or go to Chophouse for a better experience. Will never be coming back to this or any of Rick Erwin’s restaurants.
Had a reservation thru open table. Got there a few minutes early. We were told it would be an hour till we were seated. This place needs new management. How do you offer booking and still leave first come first serve open? Seriously. Do not recommend for reliability!
My partner and I had a 7 PM reservation on September 13 to celebrate our anniversary. We were warmly welcomed by the hostess and a gentleman who initially came to our table, and we noticed every server around us engaging with their guests, asking about special occasions, and creating a friendly atmosphere. Unfortunately, our experience changed once our server, Deanna T., took over our table. She never asked if we were celebrating anything and was very short when we asked for menu suggestions. After our food arrived, I had an issue with my steak, but I never got the chance to address it because our server did not return to check on us. We were not offered drink refills or additional orders, though we saw her giving attentive service to other tables. Eventually, we decided to take our food to go. When I went to get her attention, I noticed her at the bar digging in her teeth, which raised immediate concerns for me from a health standpoint. We ended up getting assistance from another young man dressed in black who kindly helped us pack up our food. Only at that moment did our server reappear — not to check on us or address our experience — but simply to ask if we wanted a drink to go. This was extremely disappointing on what was supposed to be a special evening. The service we received felt dismissive and unprofessional, which left us with a very negative impression. Let’s face it the server makes the experience. We had heard such wonderful things about this restaurant, but unfortunately this was our first and last visit. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, as no guest should leave feeling the way we did.
Just go somewhere else. We had a reservation. We waited 20 minutes for a server to even approach us, and that was just for water. They didn't even take our drink order or ask us about food until 30-40 minutes of sitting there. When the appetizers and wine finally arrived, we were extremely disappointed. The wine glass was caked with something from the previous drink. They replaced the wine glass, but with an equally disgusting wine glass. The calamari was okay. The oysters were not. They were really low quality, and contained parasites. At that point, after waiting for over an hour with next to no edible food and terrible drinks, we left. Again, just go somewhere else.
I dont even know where to start. Worst experience. Took 45 minutes to get a cocktail. No one refilled water. Food came and the steak was cold. Asked server to heat up steak. She brings back a hockey puck and leaves the sides on the table to get cold. I got up at least 5 times to talk to the manager. Hr apologized but never fixed anything. Server came back and asked if we wanted to see dessert menu when we didnt even eat. We walked out. They overbooked and did not care at all. I cannot tell you how many people applauded me when I spoke to the manager. Ended up getting food downstairs at the hotel and people were coming thete complaining. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER LEVEL 10 and RICK ERWINS. Abysmal.
Went here for my husband's birthday. When arrived, I stood at the hostess stand for a while. The hostess didn't confirm my reservation. She just seated us but wasn't unpleasant. We waited almost 20 minutes before our server greeted us. She was a nice young woman. After ordering water we waited another 10 min. Then we ordered everything at once because I wasn't sure how long it would be if we just ordered drinks or apps. My wine took a while and had bits of citrus in it from being poured into a dirty glass. I immediately asked for a new drink and she was apologetic and got a new glass quickly. However, it still had pieces from a citrus fruit in it so it seemed like it was just dumped into a new glass and not repoured. Our apps came, we got the calamari and oysters. The calamari was fine but as my husband was offering me the last oyster, a mud worm was moving in it. The worm isn't unsafe to consume but can be a reflection of poor hygiene in the kitchen if not properly cleaned. We didn't even stay to wait for our entrée. I've never had such an awful experience. I feel bad for the managers. I know we were not the only party who left disappointed.
