I visit my son and his wife in Bulverde a few times a year, and I intentionally dine at Smoky Mo's. The BBQ and the sides are always good, and the customer service is awesome! This food was so freaking good! I don’t even like bbq sauce but it was delicious! If you don’t get anything else get that dog gone brisket sandwich!! Put the bbq, onions and pickles and you’re in heaven! Also the sweet little ladies that served us at 8pm on 8/16 were great! Thank youuu!!!

I could eat BBQ everyday, particular Smokey Mo’s, ( Spring Branch - my go-to BBQ) I had a group over today and seamlessly ordered online, picked it up, wife called we need a desert - I looked and they had Oreo Chocolate Pudding. It was a huge success. Never had a bad experience, employees are over the top courteous. Place is clean. Thanks

Came here last Sunday, it was our first time visiting the area. The moment we walked in the door the amazing BBQ aroma appears! The food here was delicious, we had the Mac n' Cheese, Green Beans, and the 3 Meat platter with Brisket, Smoked Turkey, and Chop Beef. They have a jalapeño and pickle bar as well!

My mother and I stopped here this morning. 12-3-21 It was roughly 11am so we missed the breakfast window. The cut off time for breakfast is 10:30am. Upon entry, the establishment appeared very clean. The lady's restroom was very clean. The floors were spotless and plenty of t.p. and paper towels avaliable. The menu is simple, not over complicated at all. We both ordered the chicken with sides. The chicken is ridiculously moist! And the flavor is quite divine. The meat tastes like it just came off a grill. Reminded me of my Uncle's delicious Bar B Que. Anyhow, I ordered potato salad and that was very flavorful. My mother had the coleslaw and green beans as a side. Her only dislike were the chunks of ham in the green beans, but she was able to remove them. Arrive with a large appetite because they serve you plenty of food 🙂 The price is reasonable for the amount of food received. There's plenty of seating inside if you are traveling with a large group. They also have a drive thru if you need your food on the go. I highly recommend and will be visiting again in the future 🍴

Not impressed. Ribs had little smoke flavor. Brisket had good flavor and not too fatty but wife had the brisket sandwich and it was full of fat. Meat portions were small. BBQ sauce had a tomato sauce taste. Sides of Mac & cheese, Cole slaw and potato salad were good. Just arrived to Spring Branch, must be better bbq out there.

Happened to be in the area and decided to have lunch there. We tried their lunch special, brisket and potato salad and potato brisket. They have a stand for free bread, jalapeno and pickle.

I expected better. I was in the Hill Country this weekend and passed this place a couple of times so I decided to finally stop today amd get some food to go. I ordered a Chopped Brisket sandwich and the lady at the register asked you mean you want a Chopped Beef sandwich? I replied to her NO. I would please like a Chopped BBQ Brisket sandwich. I was under the impression that She had never heard of a Chopped BBQ Brisket sandwich? I take my order home in great anticipation to eating some awesome BBQ. I unwrapped my sandwich and the first thing I noticed is that it looked steamed and lacked the smokey smell? I assumed that since the restaurant was named Smokey Mo's I would get food that was considerably smoked. Not only was the food not what I expected, my order was incorrect. I ordered a Chopped BBQ Brisket sandwich and got a sliced Brisket sandwich. Long story short I took two bites out of this sandwich and got rid of it in great disappointment. I am not giving this business a one star, because the service was good and the place was clean.

First of all people behind the register don't know what they're doing. I do feel sorry for the staff I will say that. I'm sure they don't get paid much. The food was cold it wasn't even warm to the touch at all! Nothing was warm at all and it's way overpriced for what it is. The bathrooms smell like pee. And I'm talking about the woman's restroom it smells like a man came in there and peed all over the floor. That's disgusting this place needs to be cleaned up and the health department needs to come in and take a look at how they're keeping their food warm because it was not warm at all. Have you ever had green beans that were cold?
