My favorite Kelley’s location! The chicken fried chicken with gravy, crispy hashbrowns, and sunny side up eggs were perfect. Biscuits taste homemade and the sweet tea is just right. Fast service and hot food every time.

Update: last night we stopped for dinner and had an outlier experience. The liver and onions featured the kind of liver that those who hate liver describe. Dry, tough, difficult... image Clark Griswold's Christmas turkey. Bad enough that I can no longer recommend the liver and onions. Otherwise my original review stands. Excellent place for comfort food. We typically come for breakfast, which is top notch. I love the corned beef, but the enormous biscuits with gravy is also a great choice. This last time, I had the chicken fried chicken which was huge and well prepared. . Tip: order the hash browns and corned beef hash well done to get that crispy goodness. . I've also had the burgers and the liver n onions. Also winners.

My recent visit to Kelley's Country Cookin' in Meadows Place was an absolute delight, and it truly reinforced why this spot is a personal favorite! From the moment I stepped in, the warm and inviting atmosphere, coupled with the friendly buzz of happy diners, made me feel right at home. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of parking, making the visit super convenient. I had the pleasure of trying Betty's Shrimp Salad, the Monday Special, and it was incredibly fresh and tasty – packed with succulent shrimp, creamy avocado, ripe tomatoes, and hard-boiled eggs on a crisp bed of romaine lettuce. It was a perfect, refreshing meal. My friend, who had been craving their Chicken Fried Chicken Breast, was equally thrilled, enjoying every bite and even having generous leftovers. Every dish here is served hot, fresh, and in truly humongous portions, offering incredible value without compromising on quality. The service was quick, attentive, and genuinely caring. Our waitstaff took excellent care of us, ensuring we had everything we needed. It's clear that this place prides itself on providing outstanding food, service, and quality at affordable prices. Don't forget to try their amazing biscuits and cornbread – they're a must! Kelley's Country Cookin' is the kind of place you'd proudly take visitors to for a fantastic impression of American comfort food. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, especially for that Coconut Cream Pie!

Holy moly! This place is amazing! This is the place you would take a visitor if you wanted them to have a good impression of America. This place shows that the US is CAPABLE of providing outstanding food, service, and quality at affordable prices. The portions, quality, and pricing deserve all the accolades. It definitely puts all other American establishments to shame when you compare to what this place can dish out. A friend wanted to treat me to a birthday lunch on her day off and Kelley’s is a favorite of mine. Today, I had Betty’s Shrimp Salad (the Monday Special) which I really enjoy. It was fresh and tasty with shrimp, avocado, tomatoes and hard boiled eggs on a bed of romaine lettuce. My friend had been craving their Chicken Fried Chicken Breast and was not disappointed; she even had leftovers for later. It was a great lunch with great food and a great friend! I’ve got Coconut Cream Pie for dessert tonight!

We arrived a little after 10:00 am and there was a considerable line to be seated but we waited patiently and after about 45 minutes we were taken to a booth. Don’t come to this place unless you’re hungry! The portion size is humongous and the food is delicious. Our waitstaff took extra good care of us. The food was hot and fresh. Don’t forget to order the biscuits and the fried green tomatoes.

As soon as I took a bite of the pancake, I knew these pancakes were some of the best pancakes that I’ve ever tasted in my entire life. After careful consideration, they have officially taken the number one spot. Perfect color, perfect flavor, real buttermilk, fluffy, and well priced. The only other thing that I ordered was a side of eggs which did not taste like shelled eggs. Service was okay, but when it was time to pay, the waitress said she would be back for the card even though we had the card ready for her at that moment. It took her about 10 more minutes to come back to the table to retrieve the card and about another 5 minutes to bring the card back.

I made an order online on Wednesday night. I ordered the beef tips with noodles, okra, mashed, buttered carrots and a side of beef stew and a carrot cake. The carrot cake was absolutely delicious, moist, and a great size. The buttered carrots were equally delicious, mashed was great too...but...the beef tips were so gross, as well as the beef stew. They had a very sour taste to them, and Kelly's is my favorite, preferably the Pasadena location on Spencer. Both beef tips and soup were inedible. I tossed them both because the meat just didn't taste good at all. And my okra must have wilted before I even got to the restaurant to puck up my order because when I got in my car, I opened it up to toss a few in my mouth on my way to work and they were cold and gummy. Note: if we put that we will like our order in 15 to 20 minutes, why are we getting a message that it is ready for pickup 3 minutes after confirming order? There is a reason for the time for pick up obviously...we don't want our food to become cold, sour to the taste, or just be sitting on a countertop. I am disappointed for the first time with Kelly's.

They will literally send out anything and not care. Especially when it’s DoorDash or uber eats because they know you most likely lack access to bring anything back.
