Great sports bar with epic food that you would not normally expect at a sports bar. Daily specials are always a good choice especially those that come off the smoker. Ron, Steve, Jorge & Casey make this my go to spot.

This is the only bar/ restaurant on the grade I'll go to. The food is always great - and the weekly specials always give me something new to munch on. Coupled with consistent service, this place is a no brainer. And the shuffleboard.

Audibles serves amazing food. Audibles is a comfortable place to be. Audibles has a lot of TVs to watch sports. Audibles has a shuffleboard table. The food is the key. It isn't regular barfood. I have had about 5 things off the menu. The food is inventive. It is fresh and flavorful. It feels like they are trying to impress you with the food and they succeed. It is as if, the person back in the unseen area, the kitchen...the magic kitchen,, knows that they are good at this, and they just keep doing it. The fact that I haven't had a bad thing off of the highly varied menu is reflective of someone who is showing-off, back in the unseen world of the kitchen. Enjoy.

While visiting Tahoe my wife and I happened upon this place. How lucky are we ?! The food was amazing !!! Not your average bar food . Everything was cooked and presented with care. The place itself is a gem ,it felt like we were back in our own neighborhood spot. Sports on every TV .Customers and staff were wonderful. You could tell this place is the local favorite. Not touristy at all .Just great people serving up great food and drinks . The bartender even offered to put the Minnesota Vikings game on for us the next morning. Give this place a try , you won’t regret it. Not to mention they have Golden Tee . Thanks again for your hospitality and treating us like regulars. Hope to visit again

When you're thinking about bar food this is about as good as you can get in my opinion. Always new interesting food specials that are worth trying.

The truth is that the first impression was not the best, but we all have our bad days. The good thing is that the management contacted me, apologized and offered us a gift to keep us as customers. That speaks highly of them. So we came back. And yes yes! We had our gift, a delicious dinner, excellent service and the best soccer match.

Working as a route service technician, I had just finished my work and decided to grab a bite to eat for the road. The staff is always friendly and pride themselves in fast, excellent service and Steve was most accommodating in placing my order. I had a patty melt which I've had many in the past and thought nothing special about it. I have say this was an experience unlike any other I've had in the past. This was a sandwich unlike any other. I would strongly suggest, while in the South Lake Tahoe area you take advantage of all they have to offer. You definitely will not be disappointed.

Great place! Not touristy. Owner/chef and staff are super nice! Very expansive menu with flexibility on substitutions. Loved the wings! Lots of TV's. They have daily food specials as well. They have a ton of regular patron support, and that says a lot to me. It's the best of all worlds.... you have a chill bar atmosphere with a trained chef that makes delicious and creative dishes. Shout outs from Conroe, Texas!!

We loved this place! Perfect hole in the wall type place to watch a game or just hang with friends. The food is actually great for bar food. And our bartender Paul was amazing! Bar was fairly busy but working alone he managed to serve everyone in the perfectly friendly and fun manner.

Just had the best food I’ve had in Tahoe in 24 years of living here. I have been hearing about this place and finally got to get to taste what people have been talking about. The tri-tip taco and tequila mule were Amazing! The service was on-point! The staff was so friendly I totally forgot I was even in the Tahoe basin! This is a neighborhood place, with a neighborhood vibe. Sports bar indeed -- lots of TVs, lots of noise, lots of cheering. As an out-of-towner, I was a little intimidated, but in the end, I'm happy I gave it a try. Because the food is astonishingly good! Much better than you'd expect from either the look of the place or the location. As I bit down on my first French fry, I almost did a double-take. It was one of the best I've ever had, spiral cut, battered, and fried twice. My fish tacos came with grilled fish, not fried. They were stuffed full. And the "bang bang sauce" on the side really topped them off. Drinks were generally good but uneven. I had a top-notch Manhattan, a very good lemon drop martini, and a just okay margarita. I have to say the service left a lot to be desired. It was hard to get my server's attention. He never gave me the wifi password that I asked for. When he brought my food, I tried to order another drink; he refused to take my order because he was too busy. (He did come around and take it a few minutes later.) Even so, I gave him a nearly 50% tip. Why? He was the only server in the place, the whole time -- and he was tending bar, too! The poor guy was run off his feet. Considering the impossible job he had to do, I think he was fantastic. Note to owner(s)/manager(s): Please don't leave any server on his or her own again! It's not fair, and it will drive away some customers.

Not able to handle a party of 12. Food was great buy people who ordered first were still waiting for food after last people ordered. Also orders got mixed up. Thinking our waiter was overwhelmed. Love all the television sets up playing sports. Update, so the person working this evening is his 1st night so poor guy gets a party of 12. Shame on management who didn't have any support. I tried to update this after I found out that the person serving us was new and we were there on his first day. No wonder why there was confusion and he Jorge did try his best. I still say management failed him though!!

Food is bland. I Haven't been there for about 5 months. Till today. I got my usual blacked fish tacos . No flavor. Use to be really good. I was disappointed

1 star only for the Jesse James wannabe bartender with and attitude problem. The guy with the pony tail is cool though.

Paying $2.60 per chicken wing wouldn’t feel abusive if they were special in any way. We received 2 regular sized wing drummettes and 3 regular sized part of the outside wing with the pointy part of the bone still attached. I guess that is what they mean by “whole wing”. No more meat and not larger than any typical chicken wing. If you want to pay for a “pound” of chicken bones, you will be happy. I would prefer my $13 back.
