Delicious new menu!!! Vegetable parmigiana was perfectly prepared and delicious. Skirt steak was cooked to perfection. Penne ala vodka was cooked al dente and so yummy. Filet mignon melted with butter cut without any effort. Wait staff are very attentive. Cant wait to come back!!
Love this plade.. Upscale decor and ambiance. The place to be , when you want to be in "The place to be"... food is amazing ... Menu offers such a variety. You won't be disappointed. Staff is very attentive and make you feel like you beling. Salute' to FRANK AND JOE.. Best of everything here
Really enjoyed this place when it was South Shore Bar & Grill and now as Waterside, the quality has remained. Such a nice place to eat lunch while sitting by a quaint quiet marina. Highly recommend the lobster pretzel roll.
Went for lunch. Lobster roll, hamburger, and the cinnamon dessert. Do Not miss the dessert! Loved it and will return.
Delicious food, Especially their twin lobster rolls. Great friendly staff and awesome atmosphere and location
Great experience. Service was on point. Food was exceptional. Ambience was perfect. Will definitely be back. Recommend the bacon appetizer. Easily the best lobster rolls in Staten Island.
This place was GREAT! Food atmosphere staff..I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE!

Absolutely amazing! The place is beautiful and the food is delicious. I love that you get a lot of food as well for the price. Delicious high quality selection of wines and great service. We tried several appetizers, entrees, and desserts, everything was delicious. Highly recommended.
First time here. Early on Sunday eve. Very good service by Rachel. The busboy was excellent. Good warm bread and olive tapinade. Meatbal app was good. Our Tricolor salad was excellent. The mushroom ravioli in the cream sauce was fantastic. Along with a nice Filet Mignon cooked right with very good mashed potatoes and excellent string beans. A great menu with nice fish choices also.
I can't express how amazing this experience was. Food, drinks and atmosphere were on point. We tried half of the menu and everything they brought out kept getting better and better. Will be returning ASAP! Also their party room is stunning. Planning a bridal shower here just to be able to use that room.
Made a reservation for 8 people for Mothers Day. Not one bad thing to mention! Food was amazing, ambiance as well. Our server Gabi was so nice and helpful. Everything was on point. I highly recommend the Chilean sea bass, truly to die for. Definitely give this place a try!
I recently had a baptism here for 20+ people in the smaller private room. I dealt with Joe to schedule the date and decide on a menu. He made planning for the event easy and straightforward. The food was good and the service was great. There is also plenty of parking which is important. I would definitely come back for another event in the future.
Wow! Just wow! Last night, we had our school’s end of the year celebration at 286 South. Joe and Vin treated us like family. We were given the back room, which was perfect for the amount of people we had. Bartenders and servers were great, very attentive. The food was over the top. It was so delicious. We had the penne vodka, chicken franchaise and eggplant rollitinI… people went up for seconds and thirds. So yummy!!!! We are definitely coming back next year!

Great outdoor space (Inside looked nice, too but it wasn't open). The squash noodle dish was excellent ! Hubby enjoyed his sandwich.
Awful. I barely give bad reviews, but as a food critic I had too. The food was terrible, I have every reason to believe the reviews on here are fake. The appetizers were burnt... and I mean black. Octopus was rubbery and no flavor. So we had hoped the entrees would make up for it, especially since we told them we couldn't eat the apps bc of how burnt it was. We barely touched our entrees as well. Bland, sauce was like water. The truffle pastas "cream sauce" was watery. The short ribs pasta as well, and the honey jerk salmon was overcooked! 17 dollars for drinks that sucked , 400 dollar dinner bill and not one thing was enjoyable. Only good thing about this place was the DJ. Very disappointing, especially since they didn't even try to accommodate when we told them about the apps and they could clearly see we barely touched the food.

The absolute WORST pizza in the universe! My wife paid $18 for what was supposed to be a Margarite pizza and got a burnt awful looking "thing". She even texted me on her way home telling me her blood was boiling. I told her she should never have accepted it. Do yourself a BIG favor and avoid this place at ALL costs! It's amazing how some just have no idea as to what's good and what is trash - AMAZING!
Ordered via DoorDash, got the faroe salmon, said it came with a puree vegetables in a sage sauce. It did not, it was a plain piece of salmon with a hand full of steamed vegetables. Disappointing.

Absolutely the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. I ordered the salmon, and it was served cold. When I brought this up, they didn’t even bother to remake it—they just threw it in the microwave and sent it back like that! No one checked on us afterward, and it was clear they didn’t care about our experience at all. The food was disappointing, the service was non-existent, and the entire experience was a complete waste of time and money. I will never be coming back, and I strongly suggest you avoid this place at all costs.
Where to start... I went here for the first time on a Saturday night and the catering hall was booked with a party as well so the place was extra noisy with a bunch of rowdy teen girls playing around in the bathroom. So if you're looking for a quiet romantic dinner, despite the misleading decor, this is not the place to go. Also the bigger the party on the catering side the less parking there is for all guests including restaurant goers. Second the food was disappointing to say the least ... the food I received was sub par at best. The dishes are not flavorful at all from the complimentary bread to the lobster roll I had. The worst part about it is the social media makes the dishes look so colorful, and color means flavor in culinary so I expected lots of fresh tastes and only received bland food. The service was the best part of the whole restaurant. It is a beautiful venue and I hope they are able to correct the issues they have with the menu. Side note: for a Saturday the restaurant was dead .. I hope their catering hall can keep the business afloat long enough to turn things around.
That’s no excuse for poor service. If the kitchen and servers were overwhelmed, it was the management’s responsibility to ensure all guests were taken care of, regardless of an event next door. Overbooking and neglecting other guests reflects poor management, plain and simple. I had made a reservation 24 hours in advance, and despite that, some people in my group had to eat leftovers from whatever was served, and the food we did receive was cold and disgusting. It’s not my job to chase down a manager just to receive basic service. This was a complete failure, and I won’t be coming back.
