I dined here for Thanksgiving dinner. Many times, holiday service is spotty. You don’t get a good representation of what a restaurant can offer when there is a holiday menu. I found their menu to have a lot of great options, including traditional Italian dishes, as well as traditional Thanksgiving fair. Most importantly, service was great. While the restaurant was quite crowded, the service was never hurried, rushed, or lacking. The wait staff was on point. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was relaxing, not too noisy or chaotic. Even the restrooms were immaculate. I met the owner and thanked her for a lovely Thanksgiving meal experience. We will be back to dine and try their regular menu one day soon. Highly recommend Café Bella Vita.

I had a fantastic time at Cafe Bellavita in Staten Island, where we celebrated my sister-in-law's surprise birthday party. The food was perfect, the staff was amazing, and the ambiance was lovely. We ordered a variety of dishes, from pasta and salads to chicken and fish, and everything was delicious. The ingredients were fresh and high-quality, the flavors were authentic and well-balanced, and the presentation was appealing and appetizing. The portions were also generous and filling. We also enjoyed some wine from their extensive selection, and they even offered some kids meals for the little ones. The staff was incredible, from the hostess who greeted us warmly, to the servers who took care of us attentively, to the chef who came out to wish my sister-in-law a happy birthday. They were all friendly, professional, and accommodating. They made sure we had everything we needed, and they even brought out a cake with candles and sang along with us. The ambiance was cozy and elegant, with a nice decor and a relaxing music. The restaurant was spacious and clean, and the lighting was soft and romantic. They gave us a nice private room where we could enjoy our meal without any disturbance. Cafe Bellavita is a wonderful place to enjoy a great meal with your loved ones. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality Italian restaurant in Staten Island. I will definitely be back soon!

I have a genuine love for this place; it has left a lasting impression on me. Having been there twice, I can confidently say that I absolutely adore it. The combination of great prices, exceptional service, and delicious food makes it an outstanding dining experience. What captivated me even more was the inviting atmosphere that enveloped me as soon as I walked in. It's not just a place to eat; it's an experience that you cherish. Every moment spent there is delightful, and the staff goes above and beyond to ensure you have a memorable time. The portions were enormous and the place was surprisingly elegantly appointed for a place in a strip mall! For $40 we got essentially a 5 course meal: bread, salad, appetizer, entree, and dessert. Basically 2 whole meals for $40. Not too shabby! Their salmon with champagne sauce was quite good. Their tomatoes were unfortunately just so-so which is surprising given it was summertime when we dined. The "parfait" was literally just ice cream and the other desserts were pretty average as well. Clearly not a place that employs an Italian pastry chef. One of the waiters seemed very cranky to be there but the other staff were charming and lovely. Overall, great value!

Great food and service. They will adjust the meal to however you like it. Even make it vegetarian or Gutten free if needed. One of my favorite places to eat.

Staff is friendly and helpful with menu questions. Went with friends and loved the food as always. Ordered the veal genovese and it was outstanding! May be the best veal dish I've had in a very long time. Fried calamari is tender and crispy. Clams on the half shell very good. Haven't had a bad meal ever at this restaurant. Excellent service and great food, doesn't get better than that.

The food, service and price were excellent. Went to Bella Vita yesterday with a group of friends. We ordered from the price Fix menu and were surprised at how generous the portions were. The food was was seasoned well and the presentation was above average. The owner came to our table and was very welcoming and engaged in pleasant conversation. We will definitely go back again.

I had a lovely meal at Cafe Bella Vita! The food was mostly outstanding, with rich flavors that reminded me of Italy—my pasta was cooked to perfection and the sauce was delicious. However, I felt the pizza could use a bit more seasoning to elevate the overall taste. The service was fantastic; the staff was attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a casual dinner. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and will definitely return to try more dishes!

always a nice experience. solid meal, fair prices...however, this isn't really a restaurant for the younger person. The evening I went at 65, I think I was one of the younger folks here, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. you can relax, have an unhurried dinner and conversation. Restaurant is located on the 2nd floor, but it has an elevator. fair sized parking lot.

The food here is great, and I would certainly find myself going back again and again - though I think that’s more a function of the price fixe menu than the food itself (which is not to say it’s bad, of course - just the fixed price menu is the draw for me).

Very good price-fixed dinner, including an appetizer, salad, main course, dessert, and coffee. We started with baked clams and eggplant rollatini. For main courses, I had the sole francese; she had the almondine. For dessert, spumoni and Italian cheesecake, accompanied by Live piano music. Service is excellent!
