What a fantastic experience at Royal Crown Bakery Cafe! My husband couldn’t stop raving about his pastrami sandwich he said it was hands-down the best he’s ever had. I loved the chicken sandwich, and I’m so glad our amazing waitress, Josephine, recommended upgrading to a hero for just $1 more totally worth it! Josephine was a standout super friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. My son ordered a pepperoni pie, and it was absolutely delicious. He enjoyed it so much, he’s bringing the rest home. But the real star of the show? Dessert! The chocolate mousse was heavenly rich, silky, and melted in my mouth with every bite. This place is a true hidden gem. I’ll definitely be recommending it to friends and family. If you're looking for great service and mouthwatering food, Royal Crown is a must-visit!

MUST TRY!! We took the subway to the ferry and a 40 minute bus to try this restaurant and we weren’t disappointed! I can’t say better things about this establishment. First and foremost you must try the Fried Chicken Parm Sandwich 10/10.There was 6 of us and we were sat immediately, in and out within an hour. The owner was our waiter and he was excellent! Loved the atmosphere! Affordable, great portions, delicious and the best way to spend our first time in Staten Island ❤️

I got a chicken cutlet, prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers with balsamic on a hero, might be the best one I’ve ever had. The chicken was perfectly crispy and juicy, the prosciutto was delicious, the bread was amazing. I would definitely come back if I’m ever in the area.

This bakery is a Hidden Gem! ❤️. I tried the tres leches cake and mini Pizza, it was absolutely delicious. The textures were perfect, and the flavors were rich yet balanced. The presentation was beautiful, and the desserts tasted just as amazing as they looked. A must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth! ❤️

Delicious food and great service! The tuna sandwich was made to perfection on a soft roll. The home fries were delicious and made to my preference. The rainbow cookies were out of this world.

This is the first time I've been to with people from JCC and the experience was good an average. When I went inside there were three dining areas. One was for outside, two was for a bakery and three was regular dining.😉👍🍽️ The one I went to had pink all over the walls and sky wallpaper with a grand chandelier. Real fancy. 😉👍🥂 The atmosphere in the room felt like I stepped into the late 80's. I looked at their menu some meals were pretty expensive and some are not. There was a cup of water on the table when I got there and I used it for diet soda.🥤 I ordered the chicken parm hero with macaroni salad. 🥪🥗 All together with the soda is $21.00. I wasn't able to get the rest of it so I put it in a container for home 🏡. The group I was with had some issues with 3 people. One joke around, one craved attention and the other one got ambulance almost called because of a choking hazard 😔 pretty sad and I felt bad, but my day there wasn't too bad. It got settled. Maybe I'll come back one day for The full experience or maybe with a group that doesn't have these type of issues. 🙏😒🙂👍 P.S. I apologize to whoever I offended in this review. I I was just being honest with myself.😊

I heard great things about this place on Instagram, so I made sure that I stopped in while I visited the area. This place is so cute. It is half a bakery and half cafe. The staff here is super friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Even though it seems a bit costly, this place has some really great pastries and baked goods. The lobster tails are a must to get. They are hugh and loaded with cream that it feels like you are having an entire meal. Cannolis are great here, too. They have very limited onsite parking in the back, but I was able to find plenty of street parking nearby. Overall, I was happy with my first experience, and I will definitely stop in again the next time I drive through the area.

Royal Crown Bakery has friendly service and a welcoming team! The baked goods are decent but could be elevated to truly stand out. The atmosphere is simple and could use more character. A convenient neighborhood bakery with good service and room to grow on the food side. Worth a visit!

This bakery is always busy, been there several times and each time it is always crowded but everything I've tried is delicious and well cooked. HOWEVER, one day, we decided to dine in because they were not that crowded back in December2024, we asked one of the waiter where we can get help to order, he strangely looked at us and said: he doesn't know and he is working there. Because he went to help another table. We waited about 5 to 10 minutes, one of the waitresses who were passing by, we asked her, and she helped us to get a table and took our orders. But honestly, the waiter or whatever his position is, the way he looked at us, was very unprofessional, and he is being selective on which people to assist there. Since December, we have stuck to takeout. The bakery offers a wide variety of fresh pastries, cakes, and cookies, including delicious cannoli and tiramisu. I love their latte. Tuna Hero, and grilled rib eye steak hero are my favs.

I had a heros sub with Prosciutto, spicy soppressata and mortadella with mozzarella, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions with a bit of wine vinegar. It was good, I liked it. You can taste the freshness in all the ingredients. But nothing special. I also had a tiramisu which was too soggy, and that ice tea with lemon ice drink which was overly sweet. Overall good for the price, but not worth the hype. Also, parking area is small, so it was a bit of a hassle to find parking for this place.

If it were possible, I would leave a 0 rating. The service was very poor. We came with a child to have a simple meal — just a slice of pizza and a piece of cake. The child was sitting calmly and playing. At one point, the child quietly took the disposable salt and sugar packets and placed them into a box without bothering anyone. A brunette waitress approached and took them away from the child’s hands. She literally took the packets out of the child’s hands. The child immediately started crying. An adult woman should not be pulling seasoning packets out of a child’s hands. If it had been necessary, we would have paid for them — that would not have been a problem. What is their cost — five dollars? I doubt it’s even that much. But to pull them out of a child’s hands — I was shocked. I have never in my life seen such rudeness and such treatment toward a child. It was грубо and unprofessional. Overall, she was very inattentive and impatient — she kept rushing us the entire time. We were still eating, and she was already taking things off the table from right in front of us. As a result, we left feeling upset. Also, the pastries were not fresh — they tasted stale. We had been regular customers for several years and had spent far more than just a few hundred dollars there. But after such treatment toward a child, we will never return. This was humiliating for me and my family and caused distress to my child.

This was my go to place for breakfast . Unfortunately, the last few times I had to wait Over 20 minutes Nobody came to the table, so I just left . I’m not sure anybody cares however this is unacceptable especially If your on a time schedule . They have a few talented excellent people working there unfortunately they weren’t there when I was there this week just inexperienced people trying there best and were definitely overwhelmed. Went home cooked my own breakfast to which I received 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ stars.

This was my second time ordering from them. The first experience was great, which is why we decided to order again. Unfortunately, this time was disappointing—the bread was both burnt and soggy, and the sandwich overall was a big letdown.

I waited for my order about 30 min which I may accept because it was busy. I ordered coffee, 2 omelettes, 2 water, and home fries. The omelettes came after 30 min missing the home fries and made with the wrong cheese! Then the home fries came like this mushed and not appetitive at all. No salt or pepper. Water never came. I am very disappointed in the serves and food. I come here 2 a week for lunch or dinner, but I don’t think that will happen again
