Excellent experience!! The seating area was beautiful- indoor/outdoor vibes. Really cool aesthetic. The servers were all courteous and helpful. The food was amazing as well. 5 stars and will definitely be back!

We went here for my mother's birthday. We told the staff it was her birthday, and they suprise us with complimentary dessert with the small fireworks and the song. The staff was very friendly and the food was so good. All the food was fresh and tasty and also the virgin margaritas 🍹 were delicious.

This place has a really fun and colorful atmosphere. Check out all the many decorative touches throughout the restaurant. The music was traditional Mexican music with singing, guitars and accordion. The food was delicious and drinks on point with plenty of alcohol to leave you with a happy buzz.

Excellent decor. Great music for the atmosphere. Indoor/outdoor seating. Festive indoor bar. Nice and friendly staff. The food is absolutely amazing! Very rich so make sure you're hungry when you go. The empanada order alone is enough for a full lunch! You absolutely have to try their Chipotle mango sauce It is so good! Actually went home with a bottle. 😜 I'm definitely going to go again.

First time here and I'll be back. And I would highly recommend this place. The back patio was very nice . The staff was pleasant and very patient. The food and drinks are really good ,try the coconut margarita. I had three delicious 😋. The food is really good flavor. The Mango guacamole, Wow. Good date night spot. And great for Sunday Brunch. P.S the bathroom was cute has well.

The food was great and the server was very kind during our meal. The only issue was the overall vibe from the staff. We were being stared at throughout the night, and my plate was taken the SECOND I took my last bite, which felt rushed. At the end, our server asked why we didn’t tip and rolled her eyes when we explained we simply didn’t have extra money after the unexpected total. It made the experience end on a very uncomfortable note. What she didn’t think about is that not everyone tips on the spot some people come back with cash another day or tip bigger the next visit. But the way she approached us completely discouraged that.

Great food and atmosphere. Took one star away due to the cheese on the nachos being cold and dry. I understand it's a small restaurant but we sat at a table by the bar and we felt like the employees were hovering over us. There was one waitress that actually took a plate away that still had food on it without asking if we were done or iff she could take it away. I'm not sure if they're trained to take away the plates as soon as they feel you're done eating but at least let the customer finish their food or ask if we're done.

The food is definitely worth it here. The duck taco was 👌🏽👌🏽. The churros tasted like they had been reheated/refried but that was the only thing of like 7 items that we didnt like. We had a mezcal drink that had a dry or roasted like on top. It was very good. The staff was super nice here as well.

Last night I went to sofias with my girlfriend for her birthday,Been to this location a few times.Food was good pleasant atmosphere Sidney the hostess was great.Keily the server I had her numerous times which is usually good but last night I was confused why I had to leave a valuable item with the hostess to go out for fresh air, when we had our jackets on the chairs.last night I became completely Unsatisfied when Keily told me this was the rules when I been too the location numerous times.I fealt completely offended.No staff happy Birthday nothing to celebrate.Very unpleasant feeling.I always tip and spent alot of money at this location.This is very poor management.At this point I don't know if I want to come back because of this disappointment.

Ordered a side of bacon with my french toast to go. Every single peace was burnt. Their food is usually good, but this coupled with the absolute lackluster service just sealed the deal. Wont be returning.

One of my girlfriends and I got together and got lunch at this location. I made reservations for 1pm and I must say the lady that took the reservations wasn't too friendly. When I arrived I found parking on the street nearby. I walked in and it seemed like the same lady sat us. It was by the door so we asked to move because it was cold. Omar was our server. For drinks we got sangria and it wasn't bad. For lunch I got the shrimp tacos for the lunch special and my friend got the pork burrito. The tacos were good but the rice and beans it came with needed a little salt. We sat for a while and talked and Omar changed shifts with another guy but he wasn't as attentive. We never even caught his name because he really didn't attend to us. The bill wasn't bad and we had an ok time.

This is the worst sofias taqueria! I’m Staten Island and probably the whole earth. I really hate it here! It’s very isolating nd a bit racist towards people. I’ve had multiple incidents where rules were changed for my party and I but not for another. My brother tried to give them another chance and was told another different rule then the last time. No happy hour and specialty list. Can only sit at the bar today for the happy hour but I’ve been able to sit at the table before x every time I go host and bartenders are on the phone. They pay no attention to you. Tried to get a drink they wait past when you try to get their attention then say oh happy hour is over. But going back to tables not asking for service! There was an issue about an item on their menu. When I asked for that item the server said that was the old menu, she then bought out the new menu with the same item on it. But instead of acknowledging faults she made it a big deal by calling people to ask. It was ridiculous. I won’t come back to this place ever! No wonder they stay empty! No business

SCAMMERS!!!! Lovely staffs and food wish their chips are warm though. The hot sauce and drinks are yum. Update to only if I could rate to -100 stars due to scamming/charging for something we didn’t order. I’ve called 3,4 times and they said that the manager will call back and never do. Love this place for many years but, not anymore! Or I’d come to your place and will not pay for what you’ve charged to me then the manager will finally will get my attention and give my money back perhaps?
