We got to J’s a little early and the two ladies that opened this morning were SO kind. One offered for us to sit while she opened and the other offered to have us sit in the back and she would bring us coffee. It was a great start to our trip. The food was fabulous and filling and fine coffee was amazing and hot!

Awesome 80’s type place! Clean and great vibe Great service a lot of tons of food options. Me and my coworkers enjoyed the experience. The caramel fries were the bomb!!! Prices are good too Definitely recommend coming here although just beware that its not a huge place, Max 4 people seating at a time.

Phenomenal place. We were taken here by a friend who lives local in SI. The food was freshly made and the service was friendly and helpful. We had a couple of the suggested dishes and they were great. The dessert was some chocolate dough balls with dipping sauces which were out of this world. Can't wait to go back.

Enrique took such amazing care of us and helped ensure we had as pleasant of a dining experience as we possibly can. The pasta was extremely delicious with the sauce being creamy and savory but not overly rich; highly recommend giving it a shot! We liked it a bit softer so if you aren't too big of a fan for al dente, definitely make sure you let your server know ahead of time. The short rib grilled cheese was on the sweeter side and the roasted garlic was a bit too light for me to notice it. However, Enrique recommended the ju on the side to dip which definitely added a whole new layer of flavor complexity to it, which helped make the dish more enjoyable. Personally, I recommend a bit more garlic which can definitely enhance the dish to its fullest, a simple fix! We also got the street corn pizza, which was very flavorful and provided a great balance between its creaminess and savoriness! The pizza dough was thin and chewy, which provided a fun textural contrast, highly recommend as well! The lobster bisque was a pretty decent size that came with the lunch special, however the one we got didn't have any lobster in it, but Enrique remedied the situation and apologized for the mishap, showing how diligent he was to make sure everything was as perfect as can be and we really appreciated it! Overall, we had such a wonderful experience and we can't wait to come back to try their many other selections! If anything is not to your liking or can be prepared better, don't hesitate to let your server know for they will not hesitate to make it right. Fantastic culinary experience! Engaging and entertaining waiter George made us feel so welcome, lovely atmosphere, well-designwd space, and the food was really outstanding! Definitely worth the trip to Staten Island, if only all the tourists who just walk around the Ferry Terminal and board the next boat back knew what they are missing! Will definitely make a return visit soon!

I received a gift card from a friend, I am so glad she shared this place with me. I went for lunch with a friend and have to say, it was so delicious. We both had lunch specials which included soup, salad or fries. I do not remember all the choices of sandwiches there were so many. The next table had the burgers and they all seemed to really enjoy them, they were made from a blend that sounded delicious. My friend and I chose the Truffle chicken sandwich on focaccia with a side salad and the Asian beef sandwich which came on Italian bread. All I can say is the food was more delicious than the descriptions. The salad was perfect, and as you can see the chicken sandwich had so many flavors which all worked really well. My friend ate every bite of his sandwich he said it was amazing! I will definitely come back for dinner, and lunch again. What a fantastic place! The waiter was great and he really helped us make a decision, he knew the menu well and wasn’t rushing us. I forgot to mention when we were initially seated we were presented with mini croissants that were warm with a chocolate butter. So freakin good! We will be back for sure, there were so many things I need to try.

Quite possibly one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had on Staten Island, if not ever. Our waiter, George, checked on us numerous times, made some jokes, and made us feel welcome. The food itself was beyond delicious. The grilled octopus was the most tender piece of octopus that I’ve ever had, and is a must-get. Restaurants like this one are why I often find myself grateful to be a Staten Islander. All in all, worth every penny and have never been more certain of a 5-star rating.

Omggggg I cannot talk about this place enough. First of all the food is so wonderful and delicious and the service is great. When you see the pictures of what we ordered, you are literally going to salivate. Our breakfast platter had such an array of options that the people sitting next to us, saw it and could not refrain from ordering the same thing. Now let me skip to character nights. My granddaughter looks so forward to meeting her favorite characters on these special days… with that being said, I highly recommend you check out this fantastic gem on Staten Island…

J's On The Bay is the perfect spot for a casual meal with incredible flavors. I recently stopped by and decided to try their pizza, and it was absolutely amazing! The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, while the toppings were fresh and generously portioned. The blend of cheeses and savory sauce created a perfect balance of flavors that left me wanting more. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff was friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better.
