Yess, yess and yess. This place has always had amazing top quality food... Wait NO LONGER for better service everyone, it has come!! Not sure who is in charge of pointing the finger now but the service has come full circle for the better. Fingers crossed it stays this way. If your complaint before was slow service, trust me and give it another try. Happy hours have changed. Only mon-fri 5 to 7. A fair trade for better service. Thank you to our server Sam for the great service. Oh and let’s not forget the bar tender Jimmy, well done sir.
This is one of my favorite places. The food is great and atmosphere is fun. The wait staff is really good
Chef Souk did an outstanding job with the Hibachi tonight for my Daughter's birthday, I have a shellfish allergy, and normally the restaurant hears that and they make your food in the back and so can't ever experience the Hibachi like every other person, but Chef Souk cooked all the non-allergen food first so I could have the Hibachi experience with my kiddos then cooked the allergen foods last. Chef Souk thank you for making my Daughter's birthday amazing and looking out for me.
This is absolutely my favorite Hibachi Resturant in the DFW area. My family and I dine here often and I am a regular.I love the service and the atmosphere. I come often during the week to eat a quick nice dinner at the bar and I always ask for Kayla the barista. she’s amazing, super kind and always courtesy. plus the food is SOOO BOMB! if you are looking for a new place or in town. check them out.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We visited this restaurant yesterday to celebrate my birthday, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the host made us feel so welcome. It was our first time dining here, and everyone from the waiter to the hibachi chef was incredibly patient, friendly, and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious! The hibachi experience was fun and engaging, and you could tell the chef really enjoyed what he was doing. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We genuinely felt taken care of throughout the evening. It’s rare to find a place where the service and the food are both top-notch, but this restaurant delivered on every level. Thank you to the entire team for making my birthday so special. We’ll definitely be back!
Great place and delicious food. Service is a hit or miss but the food is absolutely delicious.
My girl and I went there for my birthday and we were seated right away. The food was delicious and the chef was entertaining. He even asked the whole table to join him in singing happy birthday to me! The restrooms were clean and the decor is authentic to the cuisine. Will definitely go back again!
If you're seeking a culinary adventure that combines skillful precision with mouthwatering flavors, look no further than Mr. Hibachi. this gem of a restaurant offers a unique and entertaining dining experience that goes beyond the ordinary. From the moment you step in, the lively atmosphere and the rhythmic sounds of sizzling grills set the stage for an unforgettable evening. The skilled chefs at Mr. Hibachi effortlessly transform cooking into a captivating performance, showcasing their dexterity with knives and flames as they prepare your meal right before your eyes.
Excellent meal. Phong is the best. We've had hibachi in Taiwan, Connecticut, North Carolina, and Kansas but Mr. Hibachi in Arlington TX was the best of them all. We had reservations (Open Table required a credit card which I don't love) so there was no wait, though they did request that the entire party be present before seating us. The bar tender didn't know how to make a Malibu Bay Breeze, but I had a Mai Tai instead and it was excellent. I had scallops and fillet and my wife had chicken. We ordered combos that come with soup, salad, vegetables, rice, and noodles. No dessert included, but there was so much food I don't think it was missed. Service was swift and professional. Chef Phong couldn't have done a better job. Five stars for him. I would have given 4 stars for atmosphere, but the color changing lights in the countertops were worthy of the extra star. Highly recommended, we will dine here again
2nd time coming here and the food is so good, and our cook Pao was great. Service was good too.
We took our child her for birthday celebration dinner; our child’s choice. What an excellent decision! The staff was very warm and friendly saying happy birthday. We sat at a hibachi table; the waitress was attentive, kind and quick. The hibachi chef was amazingly skilled, quick, entertaining and an overall delight. He also sang happy birthday to our child. Later the waitress surprised our child with a cool decorative fried ice cream birthday dessert that we all could share; that was wonderful for our child! Plus the food was delicious! Large portions, well cooked, my husband’s sirloin was prepared as per his request...yummy! Also we had a tempura veggie appetizer which was great as well. The chicken and shrimp sooo good! Plus it was so scrumptious the noodles the chef made for appetizers for everyone around his grill. The soup was perfect temp and great. Overall we will definitely return for another special occasion :)
If you're looking for an outstanding dining experience, Our recent visit was truly exceptional, thanks in large part to the remarkable service provided by Mr. David in the kitchen display. From the moment we arrived, Mr. David greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. He took the time to explain each dish in detail, answering all of our questions and providing invaluable recommendations. His knowledge of the menu was truly impressive, and it was clear that he takes great pride in his work. As we enjoyed our meal, we were blown away by the quality of the food. Every dish was prepared to perfection, with fresh ingredients and expert techniques. It was evident that the kitchen staff takes great care in crafting each plate, and Mr. David ensured that each dish was presented beautifully and served at the perfect temperature. Throughout the course of our meal, Mr. David continued to check on us, ensuring that we were comfortable and satisfied with our experience. He truly went above and beyond to make our visit memorable and enjoyable. Overall, we could not have been more impressed with the service provided by Mr. David in the kitchen display. His professionalism, attention to detail, and friendly demeanor were all truly outstanding. We would highly recommend our restaurant to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience, and we look forward to returning soon!
We ate here for dinner tonight, and it was delicious. My daughter and I got the Chef Special and split it (and got a shared plate). The steak melted in your mouth. The scallops and lobster were good as well, but the standout was that filet! Highly recommend. The shrimp appetizer was great too. You get tons of delicious food, and you won't go home hungry for sure! Only gave the atmosphere a 4 star because the a/c was out. It wasn't unbearable, but it was warm in there.
Great food. Great service. The cook put on a good show. As with most Hibachi restaurants is a little pricey, but worth it. The hot sake was not the best that I've had, but will see if they have a different one on my next visit. The miso soup was delicious. The peanut salad dressing was different. It was good, even though I expected a ginger dressing. I had the fillet steak & scallops. Perfectly cooked. Fresh ingredients. I will definitely be going back soon.
Really enjoyed my visit here. The filet mignon and shrimp were tasty. The flavor was great. The chef, of course, was friendly and had plenty of fancy tricks to keep us entertained for a bit. The clear soup was awesome. The fried rice is really good, and I will definitely be back. 2022.09.23 update Big time shoutout to Kayla! Amazing customer service as always! The food is fresh and delicious as always. I'll definitely be back. 2022.10.21 update Kayla is second to none! Why even bother trying to figure out what you want to drink. Simply go to the bar and ask for Kayla. If you're smart, you'll ask her to make you something you've never tried before, like the White Gummi or just about anything fruit flavored or tropical. Just let her do her thing, and you won't be disappointed. Tell her some of the flavors you like, and she'll take care of the rest. She is by far the best mixologist I've seen. Mr. Hibachi! Thank you for another fantastic experience! 2022.12.09 visit Dear Mr. Hibachi, I usually don't go back and update my reviews this many times, but the outstanding customer service by Kayla demands that I let the restaurant and others know about how amazing she is. She always remembers her customer's orders, their favorite drinks, their favorite foods, she's always looking out for the customer to ensure the service is top notch, or top shelf, depending on your perspective. I've been here many, many times, and I can say for certainty that she is your best employee. And then there's her ability to make drinks! I've been to many businesses throughout the years, and very few people have her level of attention to detail and her expertise with various types of flavors that go well together. I'm seriously starting to run out of superlatives to describe her and the wonderful food that consistently comes out of this kitchen. I've been to other similar restaurants and now have a list of them that I call "Not-Hibachi" whereas when I come here, I absolutely know the quality of food and service I will receive and I am a big fan. Listen to me carefully. Whatever Kayla asks you for, don't fight it, just give it to her. For however long she decides to continue working there - treasure it! 2023.03.04 update Delicious food as usual and the pink Starburst and white Gummi drinks are incredible!
Favorite place to catch up & have drinks with my friends. They offer the best hibachi experience in the DFW and pair it perfectly with amazing sushi. The staff is always friendly and takes care of anything you need. Colin & Andrew are great at running this place, every time we're there the staff is always so welcoming from the moment you get in to the moment you leave.
The Bartender is amazing. She was patient and so sweet. She deserves a raise💙
Came here for my nephew's graduation. Food was great. Family enjoyed the show. Seen reviews that it can be pricey but if food ingredients are top quality it's a bargain. Everyone enjoyed their food and had plenty leftovers to go. I had steak and chicken and it was delicious. Steak and chicken was plentiful and fresh veggies. Definitely an experience if it's you're first time at an hibachi restaurant. Would definitely be back.
Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for a work related lunch (party of 15). This is in a shopping center and traffic (esp on a Saturday afternoon) was a bit chaotic and parking was a bit limited even though it was a large lot. We had reservations so that was helpful. Once our entire party had arrived, we were all quickly seated. Service was great, our waiter handled things flawlessly and we had no complaints. Several people in our group had never experienced hibachi and I'm so glad they got to experience it here. A few opted for dinner sized and several lunch - both ample amounts of food and non the less, delicious. Cocktails were wonderful and peppermint mocha martini was a holiday favorite of our group. So many protein options and everything was cooked perfectly - from chicken to shrimp to lobster- all wonderful. We will definitely be back!
Was an amazing dinner once again at another Hibachi. We went back to this one because of one of the chef... He goes by the name Sunny. You'll see him in the photos and videos, putting on a show while cooking is amazing for, The welcome in from the front desk Iris was courteous and smiling always. Thanks so much again. we enjoyed our 6th time coming there.
I recently tried Mr. Hibachi in Arlington and was very impressed! Although I opted for the regular dining experience this time, I’m already planning to return to try the hibachi. I started with the spicy edamame, which, while not as spicy as I expected, was flavorful and refreshing. For lunch, I ordered my go-to combo of steak and chicken (I’m not a big seafood fan), accompanied by the beef broth soup. The soup was simple, delicious, and perfect for warming me up on a chilly morning. The main course featured fresh, perfectly crisp vegetables and generous portions—I even needed a to-go box! The atmosphere was inviting and spacious, avoiding the cramped feel of some hibachi spots. While not overly intimate, the ambiance might feel different at the hibachi table. The music was lively and upbeat but soft enough to allow for easy conversation. Overall, I was very pleased and am looking forward to coming back to explore more of what Mr. Hibachi has to offer!
Our party had such a great time here. The cocktail were so refreshingly good. Love the sushi selection and the cook was so fun and entertaining! We missed his trick and he happily redid it again so we can capture it on film since we were visiting from out of town. The food was very tasty and generous portion. I wished they bottled their ginger dipping sauce and sell it. Definitely coming back when we visit again.
It was lots of fun! This place has an exciting atmosphere and great service!! The food and drinks were wonderful!!! I can't wait to go back. We didn't have any reservations with a party of 13, and only had to wait 30 minutes for a hibachi table!! The hibachi chefs there were all very entertaining.
10/10 recommend. Food was good, they services was good. They would come around often to check on the table, even with the place being busy. The wait time to sit at the Hibachi table was longer than expected had to sit at a regular table but was still able to see the hibachi. Would recommend making reservations before going.
The restaurant was conveniently located off of I-20. Parking was free. We got there just in time for happy hour and were sat fairly quickly. The restaurant had a welcoming vibe. The menu was easy to read. The prices were good for the amount of food, quality and experience. If you like sweet tropical drinks, try the Blue Hawaiian drink, it’s part of the Happy Hour. They also have great mocktails for people who like non alcoholic drinks. I will definitely be back!
We really did enjoy the experience when we went. We didn't wait long to be seated. We had so much food left over. Everything was delicious. I ordered the shrimp, lobster, & scallop hibachi. Loved the fried rice, vegetables & noodles. Love seeing the food cooked in front of you & feeling the heat from the flames as it rises from the grill. Everyone was entertained & bellies full. Our family enjoyed the atmosphere & food.
My boyfriend’s birthday dinner was at this awesome restaurant. We didn’t make reservations, and guess what? We got seated in just 15 to 20 minutes! It was a busy night, so we were really impressed. The food was incredible, and the service was top-notch. Everyone felt so welcomed, and teppanyaki chefs really made it a fun and entertaining experience. The place was well-lit and lively, and they even sang “Happy Birthday” to him! It was so sweet. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great birthday celebration. 10 out of 10 stars!
Had a alright experience here in March and a good experience in December during 2020. We got the hibachi show but the cook didn't seem to be trained well or enthusiastic. The table next to us though got a cook that was really enthusiastic and did more tricks; It was a good thing the other cook was performing so close to our table because we got to basically a better show to make up for it. I had an abomination of Japanese-ish American converted foods on my plate it remember it all tasting good. In December of 2020, I just came in for a brief visit and just sat at the bar to get some sushi and it wasn't disappointing despite this literally being a hibachi place. I remember it being clean and that the bartender was super helpful and friendly as well, 10/10 would go again.
Co-workers and I were looking for a lunch spot. Saw the lunch special in the window, decided to give it a try. We were seated quickly. Waitress was friendly and took our orders. After about a 10 minute wait the Hibachi chef came out. He was entertaining and prepared our meals as requested.
Iris and the entire hosting staff was amazing and gave my family a warm welcome the birthday celebration was awesome. The Hibachi Chef with the Naruto headband was funny and the waiter unlike many other restaurants made sure drinks was filled and asked before taking our plates amazing service great food!
Love this place! Food is sooo good! Potstickers (Gaza) , sushi… love the soup and salad with the hibachi. Their dressing is delicious! And Pao was our chef last night . We had a lot of fun with him and our food was amazing ! Ohhh and get u a lychee martini 10/10!
Expensive prices but you pay for the atmosphere. The table lights up, the chef puts on a show for the whole table. The food tastes good. I ordered the mahi mahi for lunch and was only given 2 small pieces of fish. I should have ordered the beef, chicken, or shrimp since they give you more. The other meat options, I’m not sure what the quantity is because my table didn’t order it. Both the side salad and onion soup were delicious. I came during lunch hours where certain items are half the price. The hibachi itself is heavy and buttery. I left feeling stuffed. Dining space is small since you share a table with other diners (if you want the hibachi show. I think there’s space at the bar and regular tables).
Me facino este lugar especial Para Pasar un buen rato con la familia

The Perfect Day Out! Phenomenal Food and Service at Mr. Hibachi Grill What an absolutely fantastic day we had at Mr. Hibachi Grill! We went to celebrate my cousin’s 18th Birthday 🎂 Everything about this establishment exceeded my family’s expectations. For our large party, the service was impeccable: the staff was attentive, efficient, and genuinely polite, ensuring everyone's needs were met quickly and with a smile. The restaurant itself is immaculate and well-managed. Now for the main event: the food was out-of-this-world amazing! Fresh, perfectly cooked, and flavorful. Our Hibachi grill master was the star of the show—he was incredibly entertaining and mesmerizing, turning dinner into a memorable performance ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. This is a must-visit spot. Highest possible recommendation—I only wish I could patronize more locations closer to home!
Wow we love this place...all the food was amazing and the service was excellent, it was so much better than a few hibachi restaurants we had been to. Loved we could do reservations and the menu selection was huge and the other non-hibachi food looked amazing. All the servers and chef's were engaging and well worth the money we spent.
I’m extremely impressed & blown away about the food here! Whoever is back there making sushi , is doing an amazing job! Everytime I come here it taste as great as the last time. Each time I come with someone they always say it’s the best sushi they’ve had! The service is always good too! (P.s I love the brick wall by the bar!)
Not sure about the prices, but the quality of the ingredients were very good. The atmosphere allows you to leave America until you look up from your food and see a tv in the corners, as a hibachi, a decent experience, the chefs need to add flair to the meal, but the comradarie is there.
The food and Hibachi chef were wonderful. The sushi was good. The bar makes excellent adult beverages.
Came in just before 4pm to feed a party of four. We were seated immediately. Great service! Bar drinks were really good… We had lots of food! Fried dumplings. Edamame. Shrimp/steak hibachi. Captain Crunch sushi roll. They will DEFINITELY see us again!!!! One dislike: The bathroom smelled of nasty sewer water. It was sooo bad that I almost lost my cookies. Unsure how they resolve it but I pray that isn’t normal.
Came for my husband’s 40th bday with our family. Party of 14. Originally tried to make reservation online as directed when you call in, but the system wouldn’t take the reservation and had to call the restaurant to book it. We were not told that we would be split between grills- which is fine, it’s a big party, understandable that we don’t all fit at one cool top- just would have been nice to know that in advance. Food was tasty- most of our party seemed to like it. Personally the noodles weren’t my fave, and there was a bit too much butter on the steak (there was a large piece of unmelted butter on my steak when he plated it). Drinks were good once we got the right ones- ordered amaretto sour and received amaretto on the rocks, but that was prob just that she misheard me, and it is quite loud inside when busy. Overall solid experience, but service left a bit to be desired. Used bowls and plates and cups piled up on the table throughout dinner, we had to wait quite awhile for to go boxes, etc. Not the worst, but wouldn’t be my first choice for hibachi going forward.
Took my Hubby out for dinner to enjoy Hibachi style cuisine... the waiter forgot our drinks and the appetizers came out after out noodles were already plated by our Hibachi chef. Clearly, the Hibachi chef made all of the difference with this whole experience, from the showmanship to the fire tricks, he was amazing. Right before we were served, we watched another table experience Hibachi chef who was less entertaining... so clearly our guy was trying to make the best of a Thursday night. He made us laugh and did cool tricks, along with serving us with abundant portions cooked just right. My husband loves the Yum-yum sauce, and the chef just gave him the bottle to self serve while he was serving our table. He was accommodating, and charismatic.... he should definitely be their headlining chef! The pictures will show we ordered California and Shrimp Tempora rolls, and the Emprors Feast, with perfectly cut and cooked medium rare steak, lobster, scallops and the shrimp was so good it popped in your mouth. We took a short clip of his finale fire trick on the grill, but if it doesn't allow me to upload videos, just know he literally juggled flaming batons. #ijs that was cool. The service was definitely at different level of quality from the perky hostess to the forgetful waiter, then the magnificent Hibachi chef and all his flair. If I had to break it down, the Host =5, Waiter=2, Chef=5. The law of average means this rating should be a "4", and for a 9pm seating Hibachi experience, it's worth it. (Plus, the portions are so large I don't have to cook tomorrow! *wink*)
I had a birthday dinner there. It was almost 40 of us and the service was amazing! No one's order was messed up and the staff was attentive. Our table's chef was just okay. The food flavor could have been better. But I do recommend this place.
The food here is really good a bit overrated. Our server was really sweet and helpful. The ladies at check-in seem a little bit lost and confused but overall pretty good. The steak was really good and juicy. I usually get mines medium well . The chicken was dry but everything else was good. Their fried rice was my favorite . No complaints.. we chose to sit at a table because of the weight which is better. If you’ve already seen the show, I would definitely sit at a table because that way can be long. Sometimes they let you call ahead of time to reserve a table and sometimes they don’t. I guess it’s just based off of the crowd they have..
A frequent place to visit when in the mood for sushi and hibachi. It's one of our favorites as it's pretty consistent with the food, flavors, taste, texture, and overall recipes it never fails. Food is always on point in that regard. The only downside when sitting before a chef/cook on the grill tables is that at times, they want to fill the spots, and it can take upwards of 20 minutes before the cooking/show begins. The place is always well lit with warm lighting booth sitting is pretty private and always clean sitting areas. This last time, after almost 4 months, we noticed sort of a stale smell in the sitting areas we were sitting towards the back by the restrooms. Our food came out scattered and had the last plate for one of my kids come out almost when we were almost done Only offered an apology instead of some sort of complementary desert or appetizer or drink or anything along those lines. Well, also, I noticed restrooms need a little TLC. The last one thing I'm getting accustomed to is the mandatory gratuity automaticly added to ones check when a party of 6 more. Even though 2 of my party is an infant and toddler.
Food was good. Gave a 3 for service due to waitress not coming back to check on us. Gave a 3 for atmosphere because shakers and soy containers were sticky and looked dirty. Women’s bathroom smelled like sewer. Maybe there’s a pipe problem.
I’ve been to my fair share of hibachi restaurants but this one is my new favorite. The open floor plan and style gives just the perfect ambiance for the wonderful food you are about to enjoy. We had a few drinks at the bar to start off the night and the bartender was great. When we got to our table, the waitress was attentive and timely. The chef was engaging and made everyone comfortable and set the perfect tone. This place is clean, smells great, and the restrooms were maintained as well. What else can you ask for? We will definitely dine here again.
I have been here a few times and the service has improved since the first time I was here. I ate at the bar area and had Jay as the server. He did good job and you can tell he took pride in working with customers. This was a 180 from the first time I was here. It seems like this restaurant has taking feedback and applied it to its business practice. Service 4 Food 5 Ambiance 5 Price 3 (Better prices on the food on happy hour would be great and extending the menu for happy hour) I am only giving it 4 stars since I want to come back and see if the quality of service is maintained. I will be back due to the food and Jay hospitality.
Local bonito, atención normal, comida excelente , muy divertido si te sientas en el área de los comales, algo diferente que lo tienes que experimentar.
La comida esta deliciosa y la atención es buena 👍
Food was amazing. Place was empty and I was waiting for someone else to join my party. The host stated we had 15 minutes or the couldn't guarantee she could sit with us. Proceeding less than 5 minutes to sit a party of two next to us and made us move over a seat. Customer Service lacking and on top of that the cook pop grease on one of my guest face. He apologized but did not bring management to the table or offer any accommodation.
This place wasn't too bad. It did take a long time for my waitress to acknowledge me. But once she did, things went smoothly. I was really disappointed in the Miso Soup. I expect just a clear broth with mushrooms and onions. This had tofu and possibly spinach? It was not good. Although maybe if that's how you prefer your miso soup then it would be good to you. But my fried rice was good
Solid food, but we were overcharged. Ordered the chicken hibachi dinner, which the menu states is $23, and was charged $29 and some change… this was not acknowledged, but checked on the website and confirmed the price after the dinner too. This happened on two separate bills at our table. Wish we had the menu to check when looking at the bill, but hopefully this review encourages the restaurant to double check their pricing, and also other diners to look at their check twice!
Food is always little over average. Near home so it's an easy option but we don't throw it out there as a normal stop. Bentonville box options are my son's go to, does hibachi but it's in back. Not a sit around the cook type place. Service is usually ok but we have had problems before. A little pricey for what is served. It's probably number 3 or 4 on the list of Asian cuisine near us out of 4.
The greeter at the door was extremely kind and welcoming. Our server she was very nice and attentive, so worth the service. But, as for the atmosphere in this place, I've never been in too a Japanese or any Asian restaurant that plays loud club music? a bit disappointing. Music was so loud you can't even carry a good conversation. I expected more class out of a Japanese Steak restaurant. Especially we high as the prices are. The table services next to us was pretty entertaining. Other than that it, there's nothing special to report. I would have given it a 5 star just for the greater and waitress.
🍣It really isn't anything crazy, a standard hibachi experience with overpriced products aswell as expensive drinks. I suppose I should expect a high price tag, but hibachi food isn't that crazy to replicate and the "show" doesn't justify much. Not just trying to pick on here specially, it's a problem with hibachi in general, this place just kept the same formula to a T. 💰 🥢Seems like the staff is pretty awesome when it isn't super late, if I return, I'll probably experience something a bit bitter haha Get ready for a pricey meal, still fun though! 🥩
First time trying this place! I was craving sushi. I ordered two Dynamite Rolls, a drink and a side salad with sesame dressing. The food was good but the service was horrible. Everyone seemed uninterested to service me, I had to call on two different waiters to get help. It was a very poor experience. It was nice that I came during happy hour because the food and service were worth the discounted price. The only person who was genuinely friendly was the bartender and she had cool green hair! I didn’t get her name, but she was nice.
I have to revise my review. We went this past weekend to celebrate birthdays. Was not our first visit and other times had been good. However, not this past Sunday. We got in at noon, sat at the first table to the right as you go in the door. The cook was just plain annoying. I understand they put on a show but repeatedly banging and banging the utensils together in our faces while we were trying to visit was uncalled for. The food was extremely greasy, and the rice tasted off. Two in our party got very ill after dinner, both had chicken. The shrimp were very over cooked to the point of being tough and dry. Then he finishes and we are starting to eat and the waitress brings us the carryout boxes before we had even hardly started to eat. So we had to figure out where to put those while we tried to eat. Then, we had planned to maybe get desert but she never asked us, just brought the bill and waited for payment. The place was not busy, there were alot of empty tables. We had a reservation so not just walk in. If not for past good experience we would probably not return. Not sure if the chicken was bad or not cooked properly but the ones who ate it were ill. For the price of the meal this was not a good experience.
After I’ve been coming here off and on when I’m in the area for the Hibachi, I’ve always had a great experience. Food is good and service is good as well. This time I ordered stir fried noodle vegetables and had a long string of hair in my food. Being pregnant, it definitely killed my entire appetite and having to throw away my entire meal. To think about the hair being tossed and cooked in my food is quite disturbing. Just please ensure any hair policies are being implemented for all who are handling food.
I give this place chance many times, the service always sucks! And this is the worst! Our server “Ava K” never comeback to us after took our order! Not even once! She didn’t give us silverware! I asked silverware, refill to other server! And my royal carribean drink comes after 30 minutes and it’s watery! All ice is melted! And other server who give us the refill so rude. Then other server that i asked chopsticks, never comeback and i should ask to the host again. And i tell the manager about it, she gave us complimentary ice cream, but do u think it’s worthed spend $100 to sucks service like that?! And our server comeback after we paid and done eating! Lol… she just expect for the tips! I’m sorry this is too much!! At least i still give u 15% but i won’t be back for this type of service!
I ordered a steak hibachi medium rare with no onions. They cooked my steak blue rare it was basically raw and gave me onions anyways. The portion size was terribly small there was about 6 pieces of steak on there and 3 of them were straight fat which I did not want to eat. For a $20 we totally got ripped off.
My wife and I went in to Mr. Hibachi yesterday Dec 26th 2025, and unfortunately there were roaches all over the mens bathroom. If they are in the bathroom they are definitely in the kitchen. Luckily I went to the bathroom first.
My husband and I tried to go out to lunch for our anniversary and The most disgusting thing happened to me at the restaurant...my soup was brought out and as I took my 3rd Bite which was something super soggy and very minty I immediately spit it out In a napkin and it was someone's CHEWED UP GUM! And the manager just says oh im sorry want me to remake it? And yes that is a piece of onion WITH the gum.... I've eaten plenty of onion to know what it tastes like and how the texture is....its not mint tasting and no where near the texture of the gum that was in my soup which then hardened back up once i spit it out... nice try though Walked out right then and there. NEVER AGAIN will I be back and yes I will be calling the health department and more..
Very disappointed in Mr Habachi. We always have a great experience in the restaurant but the past 2 times we have ordered our food Togo has been horrible. The portion sizes are kids sized. There’s no way we’re paying close to $40 a plate for little to no meat! It must have been a mistake or something cause these just no way. I got the chicken and calamari. The chicken pieces are super small and there’s hardly chicken! Didn’t even cover the bottom of the Togo bowl. The salad,,, that was 3 bites. That just not okay.
The worst dining experience of my life - 0/10 wouldn’t even send my worst enemy here. I’ve been to a lot of restaurants in my life, but never have I experienced a level of incompetence, rudeness, and outright hostility like I did at Mr. Hibachi. Where do I even begin? First, let’s talk about the hostile reception. I walked in, sat down, and it was as if I had personally offended the server by merely existing at the table. There were already two parties seated and drinking, but it seemed my very presence was inconvenient to her. Fast forward to when I tried to order an appetizer. I politely asked, and her response? “I asked about your entree.” Excuse me? I didn’t even blink. I just ordered my food and tried to move on, but the attitude was already thick in the air. The situation got even more fun when a gentleman at the table, who must’ve thought the server was talking to him, politely said, “Pardon me?” Her response? “I wasn’t talking to you.” I’ve never seen someone act so offended by basic human decency. After our food was ordered, this server disappeared and never came back. We sat there for a while as other staff passed us by, but she couldn’t even spare us the grace of a simple check-in. I finally had to ask a DIFFERENT SERVER to get her, just so I could get a box and my bill, at this point, I was begging to get the heck out of there. But oh, it gets better. When I asked for containers for the sauces (because, you know, that’s a reasonable request) she ignored me and walked off. When she finally returned, she slammed the sauce containers down with the with this unnecessary force. I went to the host stand and asked to speak with a manager about her appalling behavior, the manager showed up, barely acknowledged my complaints, and his response? “You don’t have to pay the bill.” He didn’t apologize. He didn’t ask how he could make it right. He didn’t care. It more so felt like he just wanted me gone. But wait there’s more! When I went to sit back down, the server came back to the table and said, “You can pay your bill now.” With the same attitude. I told her the manager said don’t worry about the bill. Her reply? “That’s the problem with YOU PEOPLE.” (as I am a person of color). Yes she went there. She actually said that. And the manager did absolutely nothing about it. I’ve never been so humiliated and disgusted in my life. Mr. Hibachi is a den of disrespect, where racism and rudeness seem to be the special of the day. For the love of your sanity and dignity, avoid this restaurant at all costs. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy here, and I’ll be telling everyone I know to steer clear. You’ll get better service at a drive-thru. If you still decide to go avoid this server at all cost.
