BeachFire Bar and Grill - San Clemente

Nice place with outdoor seating, I had the Sticky Ribs and the Pineapple Upside Down cake. The food and the service was very good.

Wow I wasn't expecting such a great experience. I had lunch, the chicken quesadilla was amazing. They had live music so I went to the bar for a beer and met some of the regulars. One woman had too much to drink and was being absolutely insufferable to the bartender. It was very busy and the very attractive woman behind the bar was polite but stern. I didn't get her name but I couldn't believe she was so collected. Some other marines couldn't hold their liquor either and were asked to leave. After that the night crew came in and the band changed. There were no more drunks and everyone was having a good time. One of the bartenders, Sterling, was so high energy and engaging. He was giving high fives to people and making sure everyone was handled, even the people not at the bar. I ended up staying all night dancing and meeting new people. Everyone was so cool. Ten thousand stars!

We are in town visiting and this was an awesome stop for once we got settled in to our airbnb! They have a great selection of seasonal speciality drinks and food, and delicious menu options. It's a nice location and the inside has a lot of gorgeous artwork that you can buy. We really enjoyed our meals here!

The overall rating is a 9/10. Recommend trying the cauliflower wings. Food: Tried the cauliflower wings, salad, and fried chicken. All were well above average. Atmosphere: Very nice place with a patio and nice live music. Clean and well laid out. Service: Friendly waitress and decent wait times. No real recommendation for improvements.

Meet some friends here during the week and the place was popping in the early evening. I got the chicken sandwich with homemade kettle chips. Both were great. I got some blue cheese dressing to dip the chips in . The Churro dessert was really great too. I’ll be back

We happened to stop in when we arrived in San Clemente for an overnight stay. They have a wide variety of menu options. The entrees that both my son and I chose were very good. Our server did a great job and the host was very friendly. They have local art on the walls for purchase, which just added to the total ambiance. I'm glad we had the chance to eat here!

Everything was amazing! Service, staff and food! Staff were all friendly and accommodating as we had our Doxie with us. Drinks were delicious! I recommend the bourbon blossom! And we topped it all off with their house s'mores (no picture because we devoured it in a minute the 6 of us)!

Sunday, June 23rd, 2024, Madison was our server. We stopped in for lunch and sat out front. The weather was perfect. We ordered the Crispy Calamari to start. It came with a sweet & spicy Thai chili sauce and wasabi cream. The calamari was so tender and a wonderful crispness on the outside. The Thai chili sauce was delicious. Wasabi cream wasn't overpowering in the slightest. For lunch, we had the Vaquero Burger and the Beachfire Cheeseburger. Both had fantastic flavors and cooked perfect. We definitely recommend BeachFire Bar & Grill

We love BeachFire! Not only do I love going there regularly for dinner and live music, but we held one of our Facebook Group South OC Happy Hour events for about 45 people, and they did an amazing job of serving our group quickly and accurately, all the food and drinks were amazing and people had a really great time!

What a fantastic experience! The food was DELICIOUS. I really loved the fries, some of the best fries I’ve ever had. The bbq chicken salad was awesome and a little bit spicy. The macadamia nut mahi was yummy too. Our server was excellent and efficient and friendly. The atmosphere was very fun, there is gorgeous beach themed art everywhere that is very captivating. The music was upbeat and set the mood for party time. It was busy, but in a fun way! Lots of energy. I am excited to go back.

live music so of course had to drop in. cool blue/jazz band playing - pretty low key. We got a great spot, enjoyed some delish apps and drinks. Got the lettuce wraps (YUMMM!) and the fried cauliflower in wing sauce. We also had pulled pork sliders protein style, really good. Everything tasty and overall attentive, friendly service. We hung out for prob 90 mins, def a good time and made for a fun afternoon bar hopping on a saturday afternoon.

The graham cracker crusted chicken was amazing. Out server, Megan, was super friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience.

Was recommended to me by a local and it didn't disapoint. I loved the beach surfer decor, atmosphere, and vibe in this place. Sat outside with open windows where i could see and hear the live music and energy from the bar. The server was really helpful, and the grilled ahi tacos were delicious.

My wife and I drove down to San Clemente to take a hike on the Las Rambles trail. After finishing the hike my daughter met us for my birthday dinner at Beachfire. All the staff were very nice, service was great, and the interior was decorated with local art and beach designs. Food was great!

I had the filet mignon medallions. Absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere made me feel very comfortable. Some '80s music with some of the customers singing to it. What a great time.

Always great food and great cocktails and cold beer. Come down on the weekends for live music. Also great happy hour prices.

Window shopping with the wife.. and wanted a drink.. seen the BeachFire, our first time there. We were greeted by Eric.. sat at the bar served our drinks (2 long islands), we noticed the paintings and art work and probably looked around for about 45min admiring all the was on the walls... and if you like something...well you can buy it right off the wall ! Nice place to sit and look at the art work.. clean restrooms.. friendly staff.. and thank you Eric for the drinks.. First time.. and I'll be back..! July 17th

Really great food and service, it is a 1/2 way point to meet up with family and we had a wonderful lunch. Fresh BBQ Chicken Salad for my aunt and I really enjoyed the chicken lettuce wraps.

Great bar with live music. Fun atmosphere. Great entertainment, we enjoyed very much the new band Show me the 90s which they play weekly. At BeachFire. Good drinks

Great Experience on Mothers Day afternoon! They were very nice and accommodating to me and my girlfriend. Great Brussels Sprout and bacon with balsamic glaze appetizer.

Great environment, friendly service and fantastic food! Burger was medium vs. Medium rare but still very tasty. Machaca burrito full of meat not a lot of "add ins". Also very tasty!

We stopped by Beachfire and sat outside on patio on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in July after a long walk on the beach trail. We were with our cavapoo dog, Charlie. The waitress who served us, Alyssa, is an exceptional waitress. She makes it look easy. She was on top of every aspect of our experience, she brought extra water for Charlie, and made us feel comfortable. She is a true asset to this restaurant.

Oct 25 2025 - Best fish sandwich I've ever had! Ahi Tuna, so good! Going backup this Sunday for lunch, meeting my family again halfway, and this place is great! Great service from Madison. Owner Edgar was super nice. Everyone enjoyed it. Sports bar up front. Family in the middle and quite by the fire in back. Love the options. Wifey is gluten free, and she was ok eating here. I don't remember what she had.

Absolutely love this place!. I can't remember the bartender's name but he was fantastic. We ordered the shrimp fettuccine & peach and Brie flatbread. Both items were phenomenal. I can't stop thinking about it. Trying to get back there soon. I was there on December 24th

Everything that is good about a restaurant can be found here. While this was not our first choice, the dinner service was good. Dishes were well presented. Prices were reasonable. Their location is convenient. We sat outside since the live music was loud

This place has a good atmosphere came in on a Saturday night and it was very crowded in the bar area. The food was good and they also have a good cocktail Menu to choose from. Although I would not recommend the fish and chips the fish was pretty dry tasted kinda like they were just frozen and they threw them in the fryer.The service was great and fast.

Great service and atmosphere! Live music was loud for indoors but wonderful to listen to from outside. Food was good, not great. Shrimp & lobster tacos were VERY spicy and beet salad was smothered in dressing. Good, not great.

We visited this place on a Saturday for lunch. The atmosphere is great, there was live music. They have outdoor seating in the back and the front. The food was delicious. We ordered the pokey, the buffalo cauliflower and the ribs. The flatbread was disappointing, as it was actually a cracker not really bread.

We did not have a good experience with food there but we had a very sweet waitress. The back of the restaurant does have a fireplace but the lights were too bright back there. It is more of a local bar for drinks and live music sometimes. We tried their carne asada tacos and they were so fatty and boring that we couldn't even eat them. The restaurant across the street was packed but this restaurant didn't have any people in the dining room but us - this is a big sign that something is wrong and the restaurant needs attention by the owners.

Currently sitting here for 25 minutes while the waitress chatted to a guy for 15 minutes and then walked away after being told by the manager (maybe?) to start working. She left, has been gone now for 10 minutes as we still sit. No tables around us have been serviced in the time we've sat here. Live band sounds good though. Would be better with a drink 🤷‍♀️ Probably going to leave.
