This is one of the best eateries in Stockton, I believe. A bit pricey but it's truly worth it. The food is always pleasing to the eyes. It's always colorful, and fresh looking. I recommend trying every dish. The place is awesome and always clean. Thumbs up, five star, very friendly customer service. Blessings to you all !

Absolutely delicious food and very quick and friendly service! Food is made fresh and served hot and customized as requested. The Papa Steve's Pizza location located inside is awesome as well with great tasting pizza that doesn't break the bank. Only downside is pizza must be ordered online. Definitely recommend a visit here while out in the Stone Creek Village center in Stockton!

I love your fresh food but the last 3 times I ordered, bodines forgot my cheese and onion for my chili. Unfortunately I don't have any to put on my chili because my fridge is not working. I guess whomever is putting the order together forgets the cheese and onions.☹️ it would have been perfect.. Had it again today, and it was perfect and then some!!! Thank you. Wait was short in line.staff very helpful. Establishment clean,clean, crowded..Roast beef dip Sandwich was very good. Dipping sauce complemented ingredients ,the roll that it came with was very tasty. Cheddar broccoli soup made meal complete. The chicken sandwich and tomato basil was a good choice by my guest. First I witnessed first hand, the classic "CUSTOMERS ALWAYS RIGHT". The Owner [daughter] completed a customer order that had not gone through, meaning not paid. She [daughter] accepted the customers word, though she did suggest giving the order a couple mins. She completed the order even as the customers boyfriend came in to make a correction aswell as addition to order. I recommend Boundin over Panera. Everything tastes better at Boundin. Has a wide menu offering, and all items are fresh. Boudin's breads are wonderful. One of our favorite breads besides the sourdough is the multigrain. It makes the best sandwiches.

We never realized that Boudin SF had other locations besides the main one at Fisherman's wharf, which is how my wife found this location in Stockton. We love the sourdough bread and pastries. Both of us had the BLTA sandwich with chips. Very tasty! Especially when the bread is toasted!! We always look forward to visiting Boudin's, and stocking up on their bread, which freezes very well. Next time you have a craving for some great bread, give Boudin SF a visit. You'll definitely be coming back.

Went in a couple days ago and my table was cleaned but I asked for the floor to be swept and they were happy to do so. The food also came quick and was pretty good i got the Tomato soup bread bowl with a grilled cheese bacon on the side and it was the best. Definitely recommend

Boudin SF is a great place for those of us that love soup in a bread bowl. I ordered the chili and a regular grilled cheese. The grilled cheese here has great cheesy outside grill which I love....chili is wonderful. My wife ordered the butternut squash soup and she says it’s ok....ha. My son as usual had to get the clam chowder...it tastes great here. Sometimes there is limited seating but today we had no trouble getting a seat.... this place is a must go if you have not been here before.

Cafeteria style: order at the counter, sit with a number and someone drops it at your table. Very good food, yummy bread! Staff is friendly and accommodating. Only issue is that the tables/seats don't seem to be cleaned regularly so can be hard to find a clean spot or you clean your own...

This place is 🔥 Its cheaper and u get alot better deals here rather than with Sourdough Co. Or Panera. Definitely a must try in my book.

I really like coming here. There's always a good vibe and the food is just what you'd expect - no surprises here. I like being able to sit outside on a beautiful day like today. If you haven't tried it, I do recommend it.

Rafael is the best bartender, hands down! This man made suggestions that were unrivaled, he’s a true creative genius. The espresso martini he made was unlike any I’ve ever had. Truly a work of art. This man takes hella pride in his craft and the customer service and an unrivaled. Can’t speak highly enough of my experience at this restaurant and the staff. And the food ain’t half bad either lol

I ordered the crab feed at home meal for two! You get two whole fresh dungeness crabs, caesar salad, pasta, and a loaf of Boudins famous sourdough bread, delicious! I highly recommend and will definitely do this again next dungeness crab season if available.

They have wonderful food/ great service nice clean atmosphere I must say in the bathrooms were very clean that's really important to me as well people preparing my food. My coworker took me here we both had 1hour lunch at the same time they rushed our order because we was on lunch. We super appreciate it. Ordered family meal via moble and dined in. Came out on time and staff was friendly. My only gripe was the very small portion of turkey on the sandwiches, wish there was double the amount because the turkey didn't cover the sandwich at all, seemed like a kid's portion to me. We enjoyed the chilli and bread bowls!

This is an adorable little "fast food "restaurant. I am gluten-free and I was easily able to eat in one of their delicious salads - I went with the power grain bowl, and it was absolutely amazing and also vegetarian. My friend is a regular there and got a free loaf of bread with her loyalty program. This company has been making sourdough in San Francisco for over 200 years and they even have adorable shapes such as turtles dinosaurs and turkeys that you can buy. I can only imagine the joy on a child's face when you come home with one of these adorable and delicious creations. I absolutely adored this place and enjoyed the food. I wish I lived closer so I could eat there more often. If I'm in town again, I will definitely be stopping in for another salad.

No matter what I order it is very good. My favorite is Chicken salad sandwich! Absolutely delicious! The chicken actually tastes like grilled chicken. Didn’t have to hunt for the grapes. Boudin has a great selection of food to choose from on the menu. However, my favorite to get on the menu would have to be the margarita pizza and a bowl of tomato soup or the cheddar cauliflower soup. I think both soups are pretty delicious. I also enjoy the sandwiches, but bread bowl and pizza would probably be my first two options. Also, when you walk in you have an option to go to a kiosk or the desk to place an order. I find it fast and easy to use the kiosk so that I can dine in right away. This is probably the best place to have a quick meal for lunch. :)

The food was so good. The people were super friendly and it was inexpensive. I got all this plus a bottle of wine and two drinks for under $30.00. Oh and they make these cute sourdough bread bears that you can buy.

Usually four to five star rating. Known for their sourdough bread, they also have great stand alone salads. Four stars thus time as my Chicken Cesar salad was chopped a little too fine. Usually bigger crunchy pieces are the norm.

Sour dough bread, many different shapes and sizes, available to take out for parties or what have you. Let's be clear, traditional sour dough bread in the SF style CAN NOT be duplicated outside of SF. The conditions are totally different and affect the final quality. If you don't know what I mean don't worry about it. But if you're a transplant and expect it to be like what you'll get in SF...... forget it.

Lemon bar was hard, sour bowl was delicious. Went back for a pizza way to much sauce, and the crust was so hard, bad experience for a first-time pizza .

We ordered family meal for four. Salad dressing was not included. No utensils, or napkins were included, which usually come with a to go order. Service has gone down. I think there are new people working who aren't good with customer servicr. 2/26/25. Again I ordered takeout for 2. One salad had dressing, the other did not. The food is just as good as the SF location and I would argue this location might be preferable due to how much less crowded it is and the cleanliness of the place. My son likes this place so that’s where we went tonight. He got clam chowder and half sandwich… Turkey/avocado. He was happy with it. I ordered a bowl of clam chowder and the French dip deluxe. Comes with your choice of soup or salad and I have salad. Also comes to the big side of au jus. It was OK but I’m not looking to go back anytime soon. The clam chowder was good. And of course the bread should be good because that’s what they’re known for. The sourdough roll was quite chewy and my jaws were tired by the time I finished. Something in that meal did not agree with me… If you know what I mean. I’m not in a big hurry to go back. We were there around 7 PM and the place was pretty dead. They probably have a good lunch crowd. The restaurant opened in 2008.

Decided to order online & pickup. Process was super simple. The selection was great. Upon arriving to pickup my order, the line was to the door, but pick goes to your right. My order was ready in 15 minutes. For a Wednesday at 6pm place was pretty packed. Service was friendly & the bread delicious.

I used to love this place. Ordered a turkey avocado on sliced sourdough. The bread was not up to Boudin standards at all. Tomato, lettuce, one skinny piece of cheese, and turkey that didn't cover the bread. Boring...

Decent experience, simple place to get lunch. Came here for a quick lunch for work one afternoon. It's cafeteria style, so you go up to the counter and order. They then give you a number, you find a table and sit down and they bring you the food. Easy, no frills kind of place. The restaurant was very clean. I ordered a soup and salad combo, and it didn't take long for it to come out. Salad tasted ok, a bit too much dressing on it. The soup tasted like it came out of a can. Nothing to rave about, just to put food in the stomach.

We ordered meals for 3 people and only 1 meal came to the table. After about 15 to 20 minutes we inquired about the other 2 meals that had not been brought to the table. They told us that they had no reciept so I showed them my copy then the 2 meals were brought out and the first person was given another clam chouder in a bread bowl because their meal was cold from waiting. Food was good but the service has really taken a turn for the worst in the last 6 months. GET AND KEEP YOUR RECIEPT IF COMING HERE.

It's quite busy and crowded during lunch. Service is good but the food isn't as tasty as it is at other locations. Not sure why and I've been to a few. Portions seem smaller too. The atmosphere is too rushed, you can't really enjoy your food. People are walking around looking for a table staring at you like "are you done?" And some of the staff make you feel the same way. They skimp on the orders that you pick up and that are delivered by other companies especially Doordash. You call to inquire and they refund you $3 when orders are between $10-15 per item.

I ordered the family for meal for two that included a bread bowl with soup, sandwich, two cookies. The charge was over $33.00 with price, taxes tip. Our orders have always been great, tonight was alille different. The were out of bread bowls and a very small roll was the substitute. The bread bowl was included in the original charge. The food was tasty, but I feel we were over charged. A discount or coupon should have been offered. If this happens again I will request a refund or maybe just in and order instead of doing an online order order.

The service was great. I ordered new Cubano sandwich and was unable to eat. It had oozing amounts of mustard. So much so its all I could taste. I went to order a new sandwich and the order taker said, We can replace with whatever you like, which I totally didn't expect, but grateful. Had three French dip and was not disappointed. Hubby had burger which he said was OK. Preformed patty, bland said he'd get the French dip next time after having a bite of mine.

It was a very slow time of day and we were almost the only customers . We got fast service of course ,and friendly connections with those who owned the restaurant . Super friendly staff, okay prices, clean environment, nice outside eating area. The only issue I had is I got the breakfast sandwich and it was big and it was filling and fresh ingredients but even though I added hot sauce, red pepper flakes, butter, and even asked them to add onion... it was still the most tasteless flavorless sandwich I've ever had in my life lol. I mean it's a breakfast sandwich so I guess there's only so much flavor it can have but this was still extremely Bland. It made me glad that I didn't try their mac and cheese there because I would have been super disappointed if it had as little flavors that sandwich did. Food is always great. My biggest issue with this location is the service, specifically dealing with the sassy attitudes that I often get from many of the young lady’s when I go in to pick up my order. If I order a salad, I always end up asking for an extra side of dressing because the 1 tiny dressing that it comes with is not enough for the amount of salad that you get. And the reaction from the employee is usually the same. I get an eye-roll, or no response, and they hand it to me with such a sassy attitude. The lady today rolled her eyes, and didn’t even hand it to me; she just slid it across the counter. Like, how rude. This location needs to do a better job of training their employees to be in a better mood when interacting with customers. I understand that people have bad days, but leave your emotions at the door!

A more expensive version of and local sandwich shop but without the delivery of a respectable product. Whatever you do, dont dash it... by the way, I'm holding 4oz of chili that cost me $6 as a side.

Drove out to Stockton to get sourdough bread for tomorrow, 45 mins each way. Arrived to be told they sold out of sourdough for the day @ 6pm. Store is open until 9pm. Very frustrating. Employee Audrey was exceptional. She apologized on behalf of the store. Her customer service was top notch. After taking our order, she continued to clean the store which was already very clean. Though I was upset about the lack of bread, her positive attitude and customer service was noteworthy. Great job Audrey, my apologies for venting about the bread though your response and positive energy changed my tone for the better. *I appreciate the owners reply however they did not acknowledge lack of menu items available. How does a restaurant known for sourdough bread run out of sourdough? We were told it happens often. Our experience was highlighted by the customer service of a stellar employee, not the food which was unavailable as we wanted to order. 90 minute round-trip drive for sandwiches to be told not available, tough deal. Great service, unavailable bread.

Awesome food really great to eat there. However, their order out process is terrible. It’s hard for them to even answer their phone during the lunch rush so I can’t even contact them to place an order. Also, I’ve spilled soup because their lids aren’t secured tightly enough on the to go cups. I spilled soup all over myself once just from tilting the bowl slightly to take a look at my soup and I definitely recall two other times where the soup just spilled out into the bag because the lid didn’t stay on. I inspected the lids for their for to go lid just spilled out into the bag because the lid didn’t stay on. I inspected the lids for their to go soup bowls and it turns out they don’t actually have air holes in them so steam just builds up and the lid can pop off easy that way. I’ve also had two incorrect to go orders that I can remember when they gave me entirely different soup that I didn’t order.

It was okay. Had the chicken pesto with side salad. Bread should of been toasted. Arugula was wilted and not a trace of pesto. I expected alot more from Boudin. Definitely not like the one in the city.

We ordered and paid on line. When we got there they had no order for us. The young girl was rude and tried to say we must've ordered under a different name. We showed her our order. She went in the back and got our order. When she came back she tossed the order on the counter and in a very rude voice said, here's your order, then turned around and walked off. Worst dining experience. I usually order to go, which is fine. However, I ate here on a date. I ordered my regular spring salad and bit into it. Hold and beyond, there was bacon. As a vegan, I am highly disappointed in this. I asked for a remake, but I lost my appetite so I asked for a container to take it to go. Once again, I was shock to find the amount they give on the plate is much smaller than the amount that you would receive when ordering to go. I will never eat at this establishment again. You have lost repeat customers.

This brisket Mac and cheese was nasty. White cheddar was gross tasting. Most of the meat was fat pieces. The taste is just not it. Dennys brisket mac and cheese is waaaaay better. I regret buying this.

First time here not the best experience when we got there no help. I had a customer tell me more about the fries the gentleman who worked there couldn’t show me a picture of the fries. Then when I got my food the fries were cold and overcooked I told the other gentleman he was like oh they are he touched them I looked at the older Mexican man who gets the dishes and made a stank face because of me saying something and of the fries. I’m like wow. I just paid 21 dollars for this I never ordered claim chowder they gave for free all it was was white broth. Then I bought the blueberry scone it had green stuff on it told him what it was he said it was sugar. He didn’t know what kind of sugar. I told him if it was pure cane sugar then yes it would do that. He said it was regular sugar then he switched it up asked for refund. I’m like this is nuts idk what they did with the scone probably put it back the Mexican older man was just at the counter with gloves on using his phone I don’t if he was management or what there was nobody in there now I see why totally not worth going back I didn’t get no toppings on my sandwich I asked for it. The attitude after about speaking up about the fries and the scone they was rude. No for me.

They changed their recipe or started serving spice cookies to replace the Snickerdoodle. They are smaller and covered in powder cinnamon instead of bigger, cakier, rolled in a cinnamon sugar coating and lacks cream of tarter. I posted the before and after.. Decide for yourself. I quit coming because they got rid of them.. then they brought them back and I was so happy... Then my husband came home to surprise me and got 6 gross cookie looking things they swear are Snickerdoodle.... I'm done. Won't be coming back

I went to go get a salad and there was a guy making it and before he started making it he was out of the kitchen grabbing all kind off stuff fixing his hat spitting on the kitchen and making the food with the same gloves I told the lady when I left teach him to change his gloves that’s gross he grabbing other stuff with the same gloves and making food this people should not be working there when they don’t do the job right I was there 3/19 /24 today 4:18 pm so do something about you have a time and a date so you should know what employee I am talking about will not go back anymore that’s nasty I dint even eat the food I put the in that’s garbage

The grilled cheese sandwich was hard as a rock! The clam chowder made me gag. I ordered through door dash, and I'm still on hold! I'm hungry for good food, not the leftovers these restaurants think they can get away with, as I'm not there, but at home, left to "eat" this concaution and find some way of resolution!

I want to make a complaint about the Stockton, CA location. We drove 15 minutes to order food only to get a meal incorrect. The bad thing about it is that we order a sandwich with lettuce and one of the clerks checked and noticed it had no lettuce. She sent it back to get it fixed. The problem with that is that the sandwich cook/maker was talking too much that both times he didn't notoce it had no turkey inside the sandwich. It was turkey honey Dijon sandwich. It's frustrating because to drive back 15 minutes and back that's a total of an hour worth of driving just to get a refund. We order all the time for this to happen multiple times. Definitely will be leaving a bad review on all review platforms

Haven't been here for a while, but it has changed. Food was okay not as good as boudins is known for, but the really bad thing was the cleanliness. It was not packed but tables where dirty, the drink area was stained and never cleaned even when we left, but the worst thing was the amount of flies circling in the restaurant, I mean a lot of flies. The health inspector needs to to visit this location, because this is unacceptable, I never been to a restaurant that was like this. Best if you choose somewhere else.

Ordered 2 salads to go. Asian Chicken and Cobb Salad. Definitely not good. One very small container of dressing for each salad. Asian salad had very little chicken. Cobb salad had no blue cheese. Both salads were jumbled and poorly prepared. I think the quality of your take out order should equal the quality of your dine in meal. In this case no. We have dined at your restaurant many, many times and always enjoyed the experience. Wasted nearly $30. I’m just disappointed in the sandwich and the salad I got. Only had 3 pieces of bacon on my sandwich and my side salad was 3 bites. Portion wise for what I paid was not good. I work at a restaurant and was in the area and decided to try you guys out . I’m the store supervisor and my general manager was with me and we both were surprised but what we got.

Absolutely terrible lunch. We ordered the half chicken pesto sandwich with broccoli soup, the patty melt with a side salad and the four cheese pizza. They messed up the sandwich and sent out the chicken club. This had 4 pieces of thinly sliced chicken on it, one slice of bacon and one cube of avocado. It was so much bread, I couldn't eat it. The broccoli cheddar soup tasted stale, like it had been sitting in the warmer all day. The four cheese pizza looks like a child made it and the sauce is incredibly way to sweet. When the patty melt finally came out, the burger patty was half the size of the bread and tasted like it had been boiled, then seasoned, then maybe lightly touch some sort of hot pan. Needless to say, we left hungry and upset we wasted our money here.

This restaurant is nasty. The tables and floors are always dirty and the teenage kids that work here cant clean them properly. Instead of spraying disinfectant directly on the table, spray into the rag! Everyone near someone cleaning a table gets all that spray into their food! Needless to say, I wont be coming back here.

First time trying this place. Ordered a BLTA. I never mind a wait if the food is good but I paid $13 for a sandwich that literally had 3 pieces of bacon and a 3 bite side salad.

If you're on a lunch break, do not go to this Boudin's location. This is the third time they have completely forgotten my order or given it to the wrong table and I've had to leave without lunch. The first and second time I really tried to be understanding; I've waited tables myself and know it happens sometimes. But this is the THIRD time it's happened. I don't even understand HOW they manage to get it wrong; you literally get a receipt with your table number on it as well as the actual stand with the number. I've never had this occur at any other Boudin's location, and the system they have in place to deliver the food is excellent and foolproof, even for someone who just started: just look at the number on the table.

I had came into the store at 30 minutes till closing on a Sunday. I had ordered about 6 items from the menu. The staff were inattentive and rude about me ordering a lot of items (I heard them because they were talking so loud). Then when my food was ready they didn’t call my name out loud and I had to go up and ask. They burnt my sandwiches and the bacon was hard as a hockey puck. Another sandwich didn’t get the extra bacon that I paid an extra 4$ for. It wasn’t a very good experience considering that it was my first time visiting this location. Better customer service would be beneficial regardless of closing time.

The sandwich I got tasted great, but it was totally disrespectful the amount of meat they put on it. I may as well been eating bread with mayo on it.

None of the tables are clean flys ars flying and staff is not paying attention to cleaning ….. where in the world this kind of cleaning is accepted. In the row 4 booths are not’s clean and two table by the back exit.
