Was Kunden über El Forastero sagen
El Forastero is praised for its fresh, large-portioned food and friendly service, especially the breakfast burrito, rolled tacos, and carnitas fries. Some customers mention price increases, slow service at times, and inconsistent food quality, particularly with the guacamole and some meat dishes.

I like that they're open super late and the food is on point. I can get a breakfast burrito or Cali burrito after midnight. The potatoes are always salted which hasn't always happened at other places in Stockton. They scratch the late night itch with good stuff.
The food was delicious 😋. The complicated order from my girl came out perfect. Can't wait to go back and wish the one in my town was as great as this one!
Love the place. They make a great shrimp cocktail and a steak asada bean burrito. When you ask them to toast the tortilla they are happy to do it thumbs up.
The evening shift workers made my torta the very best I ever had. They toast there bread both sides. Does not get soggy before you finish.
The food here makes you feel at home. The homemade quality bring me back all the time. The place is small but cozy. They make a really good menudo.
Okay I got to give it to them they're open really late and they have the best burritos breakfast burritos the two the best are the steak egg breakfast burrito or the one with chorizo bacon it just has the works and it's huge I recommend that spot late at night or in the morning
Good food. I like the menudo on the weekends. They have 1.50 tacos on sunday. The tacos are not small like the taco trucks. They are a good size i usully order 2 and it fills me up. They serve beer. I also have two small children and they slit a meal of chicken nuggets with fries for about $3 or $4. Also the cashiers are nice. The food is out quick. I would recommend trying it yourself. Cant beat the 1.50 taco price anywhere else.
Good place and cheap. Huge burritos and packed with meat. They have a nice salsa bar. Good chips and spicy carrots. The guy didn't speak very good English and another lady looked like she hated her job. Still a good place!
Hey we everybody if you looking for some great Mexican food go see Isaac he will treat you real good he is awesome professional friendly full of smiles he is very very nice the bathrooms were clean The dining Room tables and floors were clean the atmosphere was just awesome he has an awesome attitude the food was hot delicious and very tasty I recommend this place to all my friends and family and I'll always come back for more. God Bless You, John O.
Yum! Good, fresh foods. Tasty too! Have a bite before shopping 🛍 in next door Costco. You don't want to go to Costco hungry! LOL! A quick stop at El Forestero before Costco is perfect!
It's our go-to breakfast burrito spot, the other food is good too but the breakfast burrito is top notch plus open 24/7... munchie attack spot for sure highly recommend
So glad we found this place on our way down the 99. Great food and they are open 24hrs!
Best place to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is freshly made every day. Saturdays n Sundays they serve menudo n posole. Also on Sundays their crispy tacos are $1.25 each can't beat that price.
Food was awesome! Had two tacos 🌮 plate, that came with rice & beans. The tacos were huge! Next time, I'd probably buy two tacos al a carte, and without the rice & beans. The tacos & chips were enough to make me full. The plate cost about $15 +tax. Tacos al a carte are ~4.95/each. The proteins I chose were adobada (similar to al pastor), and carnitas. I would highly recommend the carnitas, because not only was it tender, but it also had crispiness that resulted from being on the grill. The space inside was similar to a fast food restaurant, and the ambience is casual. Chips are self-serve, and has a salsa bar as well.
We got a street single taco, Asada fries, Super Burrito. It was so good! The Asada Fries were filled so well in the plastic box to go, the street taco as well, along with my super burrito. The workers who took my order was so amazing and kind, including the guy who gave us our food, change. Thank you!
Chile Verde is SOOOOOOO good. Best burrito I ever had! Pork is extremely lean. No grizzle or fat. Burrito is so big that i actually have them cut it in half. I eat one half right there and have the other half wrapped to go. I will be back!
Literally our families loves to go to this restaurant! Always tastes amazing and open 24/7. Nice people. A couple need to knows: they always charge a credit fee if you use a debit or credit card and pricing is moderately high but well worth it. You can also get a discount and/or free car wash if you order here just ask them at the counter/drive thru window. **their Carne Asada is absolutely amazing**
Well, as a passer-by, I can clearly say that I really loved this place. Servings are well distributed in plate, the salsas are on point, the menu is well organized and easy to spot for the dish of your choice. Best of all, alcoholic beverages are available, and all for a very affordable price.
I come here often and enjoy getting he burrito and horchata
I love their breakfast burritos. I believe # 21 I order with large horchata.I highly recommend them. And stuff super nice. The burrito is so tasty every time 🌯
Located at the old Polo Loco bldg. I've only eaten takeout from the drive thru, but the food is good. Enchiladas are awesome!
The service was a delight. Everyone was in a great mood and having fun working. The vibe was on point and helped propel my day in a positive direction. I had the tamales (red) and they were just as good as my abuela’s tamales. The dining room was spotless and the bathrooms were clean too. Can’t wait to come back and try dinner more of their menu items! Thanks for a great experience!
Husband - carnita fries and drink. $17. There is a good amount, barely finished it. The meat was still great, no gristle, and the guacamole was fresh. Now for the nitpicking. The fries could have been a little bit crispier and salted more. More cheese would have been good, too. Really, the flavor was too light to give it a top score. 8/10 Came back another time and got the carneta nachos. 9/10
The place is not too big but clean. They have many choices of foods. You can get chips and salsa unlimited. The portion is quite big. It's near Costco parking lot.
Very clean kitchen. And customer service is great. 2nd time coming and they remembered us. I had breakfast burrito 🌯 and it was freshly made.. Def recommend!!! 😋last time I had flautas and they were really good also. I had to have them cut the burrito half. It was really big. Very Clean seating area.. as well.
First time trying El Forastero and I was quite pleased! Everything hot and made fresh to order. The service was fast and friendly. The 5 rolled tacos were perfectly crispy and covered in the right amount of toppings (quac and shredded cheese). The quesa birria taco had tender beef and perfect meat:cheese ratio. And the consume was piping hot and delicious! Also ordered machaca breakfast platter (not pictured) and the meat was perfectly cooked but I would like more egg with it. I also thought the rice was fluffy and beans were seasoned well and covered in cheese. Everything was sooooo yummy!! I ordered nenudo but didn't have time to try it!!
Great food .... the place was not full of customers on this holiday... but the service was great... good food and good prices... I will definitely come back again.

El Forastero Mexican Food gets my ★★★★★ Finally, a spot that understands breakfast isn't just about pancakes and waffles! The chorizo and eggs here are a morning game-changer. The chorizo is perfectly seasoned—not too spicy but packed with flavor—and they don't skimp on portions. When mixed with the fluffy scrambled eggs, it creates this beautiful, savory dance that'll make you forget all about basic breakfast platters. Let's talk about their coffee because it deserves its own paragraph. Forget McDonald's—this is the real deal. They serve it piping hot and fresh-brewed throughout the day. None of that burnt taste you get from chain restaurants. It's rich, aromatic, and actually tastes like, you know, coffee. Perfect companion to their breakfast dishes. The service is quick and friendly, and the prices won't make your wallet cry. Whether you're nursing a hangover or just craving some authentic Mexican breakfast, El Forastero hits the spot. Pro tip: ask for extra tortillas—you'll want them to scoop up every last bit of those chorizo and eggs. A hidden gem that deserves more recognition. Your taste buds (and your coffee cravings) will thank you. The Cleaning Crew from San Pedro California appreciates Claudia’s great service too!

Breakfast burrito was very good
God restaurant with a large selection of food. When I visited it was during the week prior to the end of work. The place was empty. Only one other person waiting for food. There was an issue with something in the back and I waited a while for service. The food was good when I finally got it. I recommend El Forastero for lunch or dinner.
I have always thought that Mexican food that I liked was true Mexican food. For example, I almost raised my kids on Taco Bell. However much I love fast food like Jimboy's Tacos, I am finding out that it is not true Mexican food , that they prepare for their families. El forastero Mexican food is an example of real Mexican food oh, but it has its drawbacks. It is fast food at sit down restaurant prices. If you order mild sauce oh, you will get the Mexican version of mild sauce which is still very hot. If you order tacos oh, you will get small flour tortilla tacos with shredded beef, which is good and a nice change, but not what I'm used to at fast food restaurants. Overall it is good and I think that their breakfast burritos are good value. If you cut them in half, half of them will fill you till the next day , where were you will eat the other half of the burrito. Just be sure and bring plenty of money with you, because El forastero is not cheap!
I've never had a problem with the food that I have ordered. Always very customer friendly. Very clean I'd I didn't like what I ordered on the first bite I always got something else without paying extra. I would recommend them to everyone.
Every spots I go to and eat only because of one thing they have special,.once this place told me they will no longer offer an avocado sauce, I stopped going there last I went there was like 5+ years ago!! Not sure how they are now. Or they started making that avocado 🥑 sauce. So just went to order food today order 3 burritos and I Paid $48 for it!! Like come on bruh I understand prices are going up on things but damn almost 50bucks for breakfast burritos(3) 😅 will not be going here until I win that lottery I was promised!!
Been goin there for 6 years now since way before the fire. It's decent.. Loved it as far as the local Mexican chain. I go there about 3x a week after work. But this Sunday morning I just left and my dog accidentally kicked the menudo. When I called and asked if it's ok to renew it, they didn't wanna help.totally understand it's not the rule but I won't go back. I know it's just business but I thought they'd appreciate a regular customer. This comment isn't for the new people, it's for the company .It's all good. I only asked for menudo and crunchy tacos and somehow he got the order wrong. So should I have tipped him? Edgar can keep the change. Last time I ever go. Guess $10 is worth more then $27x 3 week. Peace. Don't even want the peace offering.. Hope it's just a lesson learned. Now I'll go outta my way to cover dinner.
We love this place. Breakfast Burrito 🌯 are the best. There are some times when food comes with a little disappointment but it's very rare. Overall the portion and food is very good. 24 hours.
I've been coming here off and on for a couple of years. I used to live nearby but I moved recently and I miss the authentic Mexican food I grew up with. My favorite is the California burrito, which is very filling. The staff are friendly and the inside is clean. Their drive thru is usually open late, but check before hand.
These kinda places are sure missed post pandemic, you have nice tasting food and chips and salsa as much as needed, for this alone i would comeback to this place, like i said the cherry on top was the tasty food. Machaca con huevo was amazing and so was the pastor tacos. Love it
Must stop Mexican restaurant if you are in Sacramento, California. They have three locations. This one is in Stockton. You can order from the drive through window or from the counter and eat in during business hours. Self serve salsa bar, and tortilla chip. Nice seating area inside, with AC. Drive through window open until late at night.
I give this place rating of 4 Stars. One good thing about this place unlike a majority of restaurants, the Drive Thru is opened 24 hours. One draw back is the use of their Card Point of Sale charge of 50 Cents per use. So be aware. In the early morning, the drive-thru crew were prompt and ready once I reached the Order Confirmation Board. Their menu board was vast and they allow you plenty of time to read through their selections. Anyway, I selected to try the Chorizo, Egg, Potato and Cheese Breafast Burrito. They packed it up in the bag with Sauce (Green and Red) condiment and plenty of napkins. The Green Sauce had that spicy kick but not too hot. While the Red sauce had a strange smell and didn't taste anything like the traditional Red Sauces, so I didn't use it. The food review.... i unofficially give the good a 5 Stars because of the ample amount of ingredients where in the Burrito. It was delicious with that Green Sauce. The Chorizo provided that traditional spice. The potato were French Fries instead of cubed. This didn't matter either way. The cheese finally came in to effect about 4 bites into it. All those flavors are a great combo. I had to give 4 Stars though because, they would not honor Military or Veterans with a discount. I have experienced places of business where even when they didn't have discounts for Military and Veterans, would offer some kind of discount whether it is a Senior or a coupon discount. I can appreciate that ans then I would give that extra star for doing so. EL Forastero offers a very good tasting product.
Wow! beans and rice extra tasty. I ordered the 3 taquitos combo with cheese and guacamole. These are real shredded beef taquitos were loaded with cheese. Taquitos were crunchy. We were driving through Stockton and I would come here looking for this place again. I wish the guacamole was real avocado.

First time there so didn't really know what to order but I got a child relleno. They had way to much cheese in my opinion. I also don't like when I have to go up and order.
MY PARENTS LIKE THEIR BURRITOS AND TACOS! I'LL GO HAVE A BURRITO OR TACO. IT'S ALRIGHT BUT THE SEASONING IS A LITTLE DIFFERENT THAN MOST OTHER MEXICAN MEXICAN RESTAURANTS THAT I GO TO EAT THAT I'D TO MORE OFTEN. BUT THAT'S JUST ME THOUGH? IT'S NOT BAD FOOD THOUGH! AND THE SERVICE IS ALWAYS REALLY GOOD!
Tasty food, but was not warm all the way through. There is a charge($0.50) for using your credit or debit card(clearly posted), strange for a restaurant. Prices on the high side. Drive through available.
Size of the food has decreased and the price has increased especially on their breakfast Burritos. Also if you use the drive through be prepared to wait a while.
Its a great place to go if your craving food late at night! I personally get the fries there and most of the times its good but it can be hit or miss at times. Their breakfast burritos are a good choice as well!
I went late night and the food was out fast. The line moved pretty fast as well. I had the burrito (so hungry I forgot to take a picture). It was full of beans, rice and steak. Some parts of the burrito had a funny taste but I didn't get sick so I don't know what it was. I asked for the hot pepper and it was very mild. I was totally surprised by that sense it was a Mexican restaurant. Overall for a late night spot, I would take it over Taco Bell any day.
First time going back after the fire. Surprised by the prices 2.80 for a street taco....and some misc non tax charge?!?. The Burrito was good, the tacos were okay.

Used to stop here often, but lately the prices have gone up and service has slowed down. Food still tastes good, but not always worth the long wait or high total. Still a decent late-night taco fix if you catch it on a good day.

Employees stood around took forever for service, food was just ok nothing special pretty bland. The worst part was the employees all the salsa bowls were empty and they werent being refilled, just standing there completely ignoring the customers.
Nope I have had cold, burnt food waited in the drive thru just to get the wrong food and they forgot my salsa! I hardly ever go there Del Taco is amazing better burritos!
Staff is very unprofessional, no customer service or customer care is emphasized here. The crappy intercom doesn't help the "I don't care about this job"tone the staff carriers when you need something repeated multiple times because you can't hear. The interactions I have consistently seen here absolutely outweigh the food here. Which I'd also give two stars anyway. But the vibe kills the whole place for me
I've been a faithful customer here for years. The food is good at a reasonable price. There is this one particular lady who has red hair who works here and she is so rude. I bought a horchato one day and decided I wanted something else she told me she already poured my drink. So when I told her the soda I wanted she poured out my horchato and poured the soda in the same cup. She attempted to hand me the cup i immediately asked and demanded a refund. This isn't the first time I have had a problem with this lady. I never complain to the owners because I know they won't do anything this is family owned. So I decided to take to the internet.
Used to be my "go to" place in stockton..but tha last couple times was horrible. Today We waited 40 min in the friggn drive-thru, the service was not great..they acted like we put em out!! Food was cold and tasted plain. Needless to say was very dissapointed. Thnk its time to find a different authentic Mexican food spot forrealz.
I loved this place before it was burnt down. Everything tasted so good especially their breakfast burritos. Now that they reopened I have gone 3 times and goodness gracious, I want to love it again, but damn CALM DOWN ON THE SALT PLEASE!!! I want to taste the meat, but all 3 times I took one bite and had to throw it away. I tried....
I ordered two chicken tacos. The female repeated two chicken tacos. They gave me two carne asada tacos. I drove all the way back to tell them they got my order wrong. They did not apologize, and they did not smile. They didn't even give me a replacement fork. They treated me like this was my fault. I will never go there again. I've had way better horchatas at other places.
The food here has been my favorite I’ve been coming here or getting delivery for awhile now and I’ve notice when prices went up and when eggs went up if I ever order anything with eggs they barely put one in lol it’s a joke now I have to add eggs if I ever get my favorite breakfast plate so that sucks!! It used to be so much better and before I thought maybe because could of been a different cook etc but nope been the same way since the egg prices went up and they raised their prices so they should keep the same amount like before if we’re paying more !!! Just saying

The breakfast burritos are the best in stockton I've ever had. Just ordered a chicken burrito supreme......meh, tasted like canned chicken???
They pass some slimy concoction off as guacamole and I wonder what the contents are. Yuck! They also charge .50 if you use any type of card.

Do not go to this branch, seems like the place is for Drive-Thru orders only. I came in on an afternoon, no dining patrons inside, just a couple of kids doing their homework on the tables, probably some employee's kids killing time inside. I stood in the counter for 5 mins, one employee manning the drive - thru window, a couple just wandering aimlessly in the kitchen. The place is grimy, pathetic looking. If you're a drive - thru customer, you might want to go inside and change your mind about ordering and go some place else. That was what impressed me. NO more Mexican thrash food. I bet if the immigration officers will just raid this joint, a bunch of wet-backs they will surely haul out of there. The reason I gave this place a 1 star is just to make a comment as no way will a 0 star review I would waste my time on this god-forsaken place.
Sad to say taco bell taste better. I'd eat here again but only if i was starving and this was a last resort. Everything taste like it was premade and microwaved last min. Salsa taste like it was from a jar.
The food was awful. I ordered a lengua burrito and it was inedible. I had taken a few bites and couldn’t continue. What a waste of money.
Food was served cold. Cheese wasn't even melted. Had to request them to warm up the food. Not sure why would they serve the food cold. Nachos and salsa was good! I wouldn't go back!
Very bad service. Just because i look white none of the staff wanted to speak to me in Spanish but spoke to eachother in Spanish even though i speak perfect Spanish they refused to speak to me in Spanish. Didn't make my order the the way i wanted it either. I'll never go back here. Don't waste your money coming here. Way over priced for the quality of service and food you get here.
The food is very nasty me and my wife bought a burrito it was not done meat was red and had a funny after taste
My husband and I went there tonight..we always like to try new places..we both love mexican food..so we decided to go here..We were both very disappointed..we both got cheese enchiladas and beef taco with rice and refried beans..Everything was floating in tons of grease..ugh!! And the enchiladas and sauce didn't have more flavor..rice was blaaa and the refried beans needed salt and taco was so greasy..yuck!! And they charged way to much money for what you get for food..I'll never go back..Don't waste your time or money!! 😕😕
I just drove 35 minutes to get a burrito and even though they say they are open, homie said they couldnt make any food for 45mins...I came here last week and when I got home my order was all wrong and it tasted like dig food probably would. I will never come here again and i suggest if you want good food that you go somewhere else.
Ordered ceviche took them 20 minutes to make. Not surprised no one was behind me in line. No flavor and they just threw chips tomatoes and a few shrimp and called it a day. Better off going to Wilson not hammer
I'm giving this place a star. When I went I said my order 3 to 4 times asada fries plain only meat cheese and fries. But no they couldn't get it rite. So I drove home to galt from Stockton to find out my order was not correct. Was not plain. When I called they hung up on me. So rude.!
The beans definitely tasted bad like they were rotten. Yuck. The carne asada burrito and chile verde were not very good either. A family member got the super nachos which they used to love from this location but now also don’t taste nearly as good as they used to. The only thing that was good was the horchata. Maybe it was just an off night but I won’t chance it again.
Ordered asada fries lastnight and a diet coke...I don't usually leave bad reviews, believe this is my first time regarding food. Fries tasted old and uncooked, but the meat was good. My drink on the other hand, tasted unsanitized which came from the soda machine. Saved my food for the morning, which was only 7 hours, and my food was already rotten with black looking mold! Sorry El Forastero, never coming here again.
ordered 2 orders of chicken rolled tacos both with cheese and guac and asked for 1 to have quac on the side. then asked to pay almost $17 told them the price was off and it shows different on board. . so ended up being charged 11$ for two 3 rolled tacos and they couldnt make it right. i was asked about 5 or 6 time about the order. very simple order. and still wrong. so i will no longer recommend thisnplsce and will actually tell people about the bad service and refer elsewhere. Also took almost 15 minutes to recieve our food in drive thru. 6 rolled tacos.....
I ordered nachos with light cheese beans n onions and literally got 8 nachos chips and the guy said to me I don't know what to tell you I paid almost $13 that's insane what happened to making your customers happy without customers there's no business 😐👎👎👎👎
Since they opened here the customer service sucks here!!!! The order/cashier is so rude & don’t pay attention to his order taking! Such in a rush when there way absolutely no line ! Order was wrong and never told me my difference! Only going to other locations in town(Wilson way) way better service and polite! Now it made sense to why it was destroyed in the beginning!
Nasty and they are sky-high on their prices for potatoes and cheese. Never again will go there.
Do not order the fish. It gave my wife, bro in law and I food poisoning. I ate my whole burrito, they ate part of theres and I still have diahrrea after 4 days.
Hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had. I simply ordered an Asada burrito just as it comes advertised on their menu(guacamole and pico de gallo). The woman at the drive thru offered to make it a “super” which entails cheese and sour cream. I refused and she continued to confirm what I wanted in it. This is where the confusion happened. She asked if I wanted guacamole and I said yes. She mistook that as I wanted extra when I just told her I wanted it regular how it comes. So I get to the window after a long wait and they are busy so I can understand a bit. And she give me a price higher than advertised. Long story short I correct her on what I wanted and she grudgingly makes the adjustments. I received meat wrapped in a tortilla and nothing else. I also was given some sauces I didn’t ask for, but frustrated I went to ask for a refund because it was not what I ordered. Upon returning my money after trying to short me $.50 she tells me with malice “someone is going to give you are hard time tomorrow, watch.” I told her to have a good evening and I left. I can’t believe they call that customer service.
Please don't waste your time with this place. The food is horrible. Not authentic at all.
Too much for a basic chicken burroto. Instead of adding more condiments to the super burrito they just add more rice and beans. There are better places with a more reasonable pricing. No good
Don't waste your money. The service was very poor. My burrito was made wrong and they refused to replace it. I was told to call the manager in the morning. The young female cashier was so discourteous. I will never patronize this place again.
Seems like everything going up in price with the quality is going down . Their food use to taste good and fresh. Just ordered got my food cold tasted stale and old. Highly disappointed
Could not eat the burritos they were dripping water out from the bottom. Made a huge mess and got on our clothes. Terrible experience I will never go back there again.
I ordered a 21, 25 and a super chicken burrito, $46.50 didn't notice until my family were looking for their burritos than we didn't receive any of them, I brought them back (12 minute drive each way) when I got there and explained what happened, I asked for them to refund the order, they tried to keep ,50 it's not the amount it's the customer service that failed, after I asked them for the rest of the refund, the manager on duty had an attitude, reluctantly gave it cashier, no name on the receipt, them as she was turning around she said " And don't come back here no More
Bad news then good news , Had a breakfast steak burrito and it was pretty gross because the steak had an aftertaste to it that tasted kinda old and was dry. Anyone who does a taste test to that steak cannot with good intentions say its good. Waste of $12 Took 1 bite and threw it away. On a good note I heard the asada fries are good. Eat at your own risk.
Nasty burritos they served tonight I will not come back. My California burrito was chopped super weird and you can tell they skimp on meat and sauce and just add potatoes
I asked for no ice in my horchata they give me ice, I told them I don't want sour cream or cheese in my burrito, that doesn't mean to make it a super asking for sour cream and cheese would make it a super smh, that raised the price by $3 i also asked for green salsa in my burrito and they didn't do that. I asked for a California burrito it always comes with chicken unless specified other wise they put carne asada in it. This will be my last time to this place for sure.
My daughter and I went to the drive through and went to my house to eat my daughter had to go to work so she ordered light beans since she is in retail it was a good size burrito so I thought I would put half for dinner that night. We sat down to eat and my daughters was almost all beans. Then I cut mine in half and it was ice cold the tortilla was straight out of the package the cheese was straight out of the cooler. Worst burrito I ever had so. Disapptointed!!!!! WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN
They have terrible customer service! The food is extremely over priced, especially when considering the poor poor quality of food. Fast food isn't known for being the best of meals, but this place can't even manage to produce mediocre food...it is genuinely pathetic. If you're here for late night munchies, please go somewhere else for your cravings...like Denny's. Don't fool other people into thinking their food is worth the money you'll pay. It's only a good "late night munchies" spot because it's open 24hrs and it's super greasy. Stay away!!
We were overcharged for our food. We ordered a quesadilla with guacmole we did not know that it only comes with cheese and guacamole instead of charging us 5.25 they charged is 8.25 we bought 2 so it came out to be almost 18 dollars they lied and said that they didnt remember taking our order and when we looked on grubhub it showed that the price we were supposed to be charged which was 5.25 not 8.25. And when we told them about this they said that they're prices had just changed so there wasnt enough time for other apps to update the prices but it makes no sense that a cheese with guacamole quesadilla is more expensive then a quesadilla with meat we are giving this place 1 star for their poor service.
Went through the drive though they said all they had were nachos. So im like cool.Ordered the nachos with extra meat and cheeses they give me that canned cheese for my extra cheese i didn't expect to pay you 20 for nachos to get cheese dip. Hit and miss with mom and pop businesses. If that's all you had were nachos at least you could have delivered quality on the 1 item you were offering at the time.
Went there a few hours ago! Hammer Lane location. Food was cold... The employees couldn't figure out how to work the menu board. Cheese was not melted on my frijoles like on the picture. My $17 garlic shrimp plate taste like crap! We were the only ones dining in and yet a long wait. I figured since I seen them on the news this past weekend I would give them a try. Not worth it. Mi Ranchito, Nena's, and Tapatia on E. Main St.... I will be a loyal customer! It's just a shame I have to travel to Oakland, San Jose, or anywhere in Los Angeles or San Bernardino to get good Mexican Food! The chips and salsa bar was not fresh! And the machaca was under par!
The absolute worst Breakfast Burrito I have ever tried to eat. Sausage with french fries, very little egg with some cheese. Looked and tasted like it was cooked 3 days ago. Just horrible.
$18 for asada fries that destroyed my stomach and toilet. I eat a lot of spicy/Hispanic food all the time. Never had I been so sick after going there yesterday. Every time I go there, either the fries are cold or the meat is like rubber. I always swear I'll give them one more chance. But after yesterday, never again. I have been sick since then and refuse to go back. As someone with a CA food handlers license, I can promise you they're not being sanitary. I genuinely makes me concerned about what I consume.
Order chili rellenos dinner and it was terrible. I tried my best to find anything about it that was good and ended up picking through it and throwing most of it away… The one on wilson way is good but this one on hammer leaves a lot to be desired.
I went and got 2 super burritos and 1 regular, the meat was hard and taste old and super salty would not recommend.
I ordered a lengua burrito. Their lengua burritos are all meat, and I paid $14 for a well wrapped burrito and don't mind paying if the food is going to be delicious. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment! My meat tasted like nothing but fat, and it seemed that they were running out of meat and had to scrap the bottom of the pot. About half of my burrito had burnt meat. I would rather pay for beans, rice, and less meat that wasn't drenched in fat!!!!!!!

This is a fairly expensive place to eat with mediocre to bad food. I would rather eat at Taco Bell then this place. The receipt we received said we were customer #7 mod afternoon and I can see why
