Friendly and attentive staff. Reasonably priced drinks, I can recommend the cocktails, very well balanced and smooth. Also well priced food and which is good quality, made with fresh ingredients. It has a good atmosphere, able to have a conversation without hearing everyone else even the tables are close. The interior could do with a bit more decor, the walls look a bit bare.

Great atmosphere, very tasty food!!! We ordered scallops, they were impeccably tasty, also the steak for two was very juicy. My friend said that he ate such delicious food for the first time. This restaurant is for people who understand food and love to enjoy a meal. Chocolate is just bliss. I recommend and will come back again and again. Thank you for being there and for me discovering a wonderful place. Thanks to the chef and the whole team for the wonderful work.👏👍

Absolutely incredible! One of the nicest Italians I've ever been to. I had a 10oz Fillet Steak and it's easily in the top 3 steaks I've ever had. My girlfriend and my parents loved their meals as well. This is definitely one for date nights or meals with a group. I highly recommend. Edit: I have no idea as to why this post was seen as a fake engagement when I originally posted it. Here it is again.

Visted on 6/8/24 The gentleman that served us yesterday was extremely professional and attentive and should be recognised for his effort. Constructive criticism would be to invest in some garnish for your cocktails, especially your "signature" range. At that price point they should look, as well as taste good. Flawless evening.

An absolutely fantastic restaurant. Impeccable service, warm welcome, attentive, food brought out at perfect intervals. Every course cooked to perfection. Generous portions, reasonably priced. Lovely ambience. Wood burners adding to the cosy experience. I recommend this place very highly.

I was invited to a friend’s birthday dinner at this restaurant and oh my God — I think I had the best gnocchi with gorgonzola I’ve ever tasted. The other dishes were just as incredible, and for starters, I had the grilled octopus, which was absolutely delicious. Since I was in love, I even tried a few bites of my friends’ starters, and everything was simply outstanding. The service was excellent, the staff were lovely and welcoming, and all of our food arrived at the same time, piping hot and perfectly prepared. I’m also especially thankful to the team for being so kind even after we stayed past closing time — we were all so engaged in conversation that we lost track of the hour, but not once did they make us feel rushed or uncomfortable. Quite the opposite — they continued to serve us drinks while we settled the bill and kept the atmosphere warm and friendly until the very end. It was a fantastic evening with delicious food and amazing people. I’m definitely coming back (with the opening hours in mind now, guys!) thank you so much!!

Amazing experience at la villa verde restaurant. Food was amazing, service was amazing and to complement that the design and layout of the restaurant was absolutely phenomenal. Highly recommend for anyone who has any celebration or just dining needs.

We have been for a meal for a couple of special occasions recently. Each time we have had gorgeous food and excellent service. We had cocktails which were delicious and tasted exactly as they should. I would recommend this restaurant.

It was our first time eating here and it was all very good. My only feedback would be that it was a little cold inside, in the dining area.

went there last saturday had the bread and olives, the bread was to die for, for mains i had linguini marinara it was perfectly cooked and i could tell it was made with love cheers to the chefs👏 my husband enjoyed the rigatoni ragu, i would 100% recommend it!

Had a fantastic meal at La Villa Verde. We shared the burrata to start – fresh, creamy and perfectly balanced – and followed it with the Linguine Alla Marinara, which was full of flavour and cooked spot on. The pizza was also excellent, light base and quality ingredients. Service was warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming without being intrusive, and the atmosphere was relaxed and stylish – perfect for a date night or a chilled evening out. You can really tell care goes into both the food and the experience. We’ll definitely be back.

Our family met up with our in-laws from the North West, and this cosy restaurant was the perfect place for our birthday celebration. The presentation of the meals was amazing, and the birthday guests were treated to a lovely surprise cake! A special thank you to the owner, who kindly posted our daughter’s forgotten book back to us — such a thoughtful gesture that really shows how much they care about their customers. We’re so grateful for their kindness and for making our evening such a wonderful experience. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Perfect place for a big group celebration, staff were so attentive (we were served by Grace who is brilliant!) it was busy and clearly a popular place and I can see why! A lovely atmosphere and we still had great service, and the food was incredible. Will definitely return!

Really lovely restaurant nice decor, nicely presented food and great service. Has a car park too. No complaints will have to spot the opportunity to visit again.

Came on a busy Saturday evening and had a really good time. It was a wait between courses however we all enjoyed our starters and mains very much (portions weren’t the biggest but the food was excellent quality and fresh) would recommend this place and will defiantly return when we’re next in the area.

A decent Italian restaurant that has a good atmosphere, helpful service and a tasty menu. We've been a few times and it was good to see the venue well attended during our most recent visit. Tasty pizzas, some good pasta dishes (if you pick well) and a good steak. It'd be nice to see the menu refresh but you can't blame their "if it ain't broke don't fix it" ethos.

It’s lost it’s 4 star ⭐️ rating as people could park so ridiculous on the car park. If there isn’t a space on car park ,park somewhere else. Then people parked on the pavement right outside the car park entrance and it was so dangerous to pull out of! We nearly had a crash 😡 Food was good , staff were lovely, just watch the two little steps just as you go in to the place . We saw several people not realising they were there and tripped over . . Atmosphere ok . Ladies toilet just one catering for disabled and changing room for babies. When we were completing our food and people arrived for there meals and there was no where for them to go . Just watch us eat and drink . Menu ok a few things on there . They do cocktails. Bottle of wine was £24 . I wouldn’t go on a Saturday and would get a taxi next time . It hasn’t been open for long and I’m sure things will improve. Yes I would go back maybe as a treat in the week. Price person £40 average

Not sure about the review I just read saying reasonable priced drinks 6 quid a pint beer is cheaper in London but this is draycott, food is freshly cooked I went for linguine fruiti di marre (garlic muscles pasta more garlic then more garlic) it was OK but could still taste it 2 days later, we all liked our food but not excited about it.the bread and olives should be called pot of olives with a hint of bread. Wouldn't rush back as it was £130 just to pop out for a hour.

Beautiful restaurant, ordered the Carbonara and it just tasted like pepper and I couldn't eat it. It was really warm inside the restaurant so opened the window closest to me as I felt really sick and not long after, a particularly grumpy waitress came and shut it, pushing past our party to do so. The cocktails were good

Lukewarm welcome on arrival. Drinks order was prompt and waiting time from order to delivery at the table was fine. However, the Pizza was mainly a thick crust with minimal cheese and pepperoni. The millefoglie dessert was nothing like the description on the menu ….where was the chantilly cream and icing stripes? No-one came to check on us once the food was on the table or I would have mentioned about the pizza and dessert. Disappointing overall and I won’t be repeating the experience.

We eat out as 6 with my partner's sister and her family once a week and after looking at the reviews we decided to travel to La Villa Verde. But we were very very disappointed!! The food was generally good apart from 2 meals one which was barely eaten due to an unpleasant after tsste and the other was supposed to be pasta, chicken and prawns yet only had one prawn...seriously? The waitress was rude even telling us the lager had run out. Yet when I spoke to the manager when we left she said she was only changing the barrel, had staff issues and it was busy but this was no excuse. To be fair the manager was very apologetic when I told her but unless the service and food improves we will not recommend this restaurant or visit again. Very disappointed with our visit especially with good reviews.

I like to give fair and honest reviews. Upon arrival we got there at 19:45 which is the time we booked for and we were looked at and treated as an inconvenience and had to wait 15 mins for a table for 2. We were asked to have a seat at the bar in which time we were not asked if we wanted anything to drink. There was no communication about why the delay. When we were seated to our table the lack of communication was still prevalent as nothing was said to us just given a menu. In fairness the food came in a timely manner but the food was not great. I had lasagne and it may as well have been a vegetable dish as the meat was scarce and lasagne sheets followed the same theme. It was just a cheese mountain. The only other positive thing was the decor was quite nice. All in all if you want an Italian meal look elsewhere I'm sure there would be better options where there is more friendly staff.

Ordered a takeaway on uber eats after eating in the restaurant several times and loving it, however the takeout was poor. I paid £12.95 for half a small container of carbonara which was lukewarm and ridiculously salty. The bruschetta was lovely but not much bread. Really dissapointed wont be repeating it.

We booked in advance. From arrival we had to wait so long to order our first drink, then wait so long for the drink to arrive. That's usually a red flag for poor service, and it wasn't getting any better. Then wait absolutely ages to order startes. I clocked 90 minutes from arrival to starter being served. And it was the smallest of starters. One occasion I had to ask for water twice, the last time it didn't turn up at all. After complaining to the manager, he was unbelievably passive aggressive. However the toilets were nice.

Came a few months back and it was great, however.. today my valentines booking has been cancelled for no reason. I had a call from their number and couldn’t hear anyone. Got to a place of better signal and saw a email saying my booking is cancelled. Extremely Poor customer service. Won’t be returning now.

I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but I feel like people should know what they’re walking into. The woman who seemed to be the manager (and I’m pretty sure she is, based on other reviews) was incredibly rude to me. From the moment I arrived, her tone and attitude were downright hostile. There was no greeting, no courtesy, just a constant air of annoyance as if I was bothering her by even being there. It’s honestly the most uncomfortable I’ve ever felt in a restaurant. I tried to stay polite and brush it off, but it just kept getting worse. She made snappy comments, rolled her eyes, and made no effort at all to make the experience pleasant. The food could have been amazing and it still would not make up for how poorly I was treated. It’s really disappointing because this could be a nice spot, but with management like that, I would not recommend it to anyone. There is simply no excuse for treating paying customers this way.

We went here to celebrate a special birthday with recommendations from friends… what a disappointment. We returned a cocktail because it didn’t taste right to which the manager came over to challenge us… not great customer service. We were given our first 2 sides and 1 main, then they brought out 3 wrong meals it then took 20 minutes to bring out our final main meal (7 adults) the food was not hot and my steak had bled all over my plate. We decided not to have dessert. On leaving one of our party who has recently had an operation went to use the disabled toilet, but this was far from a suitable disabled facility. For a final bill of £240 this was not an enjoyable evening. I would recommend re-training the whole staff at this venue.

Cocktails were not as expected, staff argumentative and rude when sending drink back. Disjointed dinner service with food not being all served together. First meal came out 20 minutes before the rest came out. Lack of disabled toilet facilities or adjustments for those with limited mobility. Attitude of staff and service really ruined what should have been a special occasion. If could give zero for this restaurant I would.

I am not one to normally leave bad reviews but in this case is it needed!! You book & look forward to an enjoyable new years eve meal after going to the panto with your family and what an absolute let down!! Now we have been to villa verde on many occassions & thouroughly enjoyed it, this is why we booked this restaurant knowing and expecting a fabulous meal! Greeted by a sour face, miserable waitress…you know when you just feel an inconvenience. Lets get the staff some people skills please! Then to be sat at the table with 3 children and wait OVER AN HOUR to get served!! I had gnocchi, my baby niece would of still been hungry, what an absolute shocking portion size! And mine wasnt the only bad portion, 1/2 of us left hungry, we certainly weren’t wasting anymore time or money there! Asked for another drink, sorry we’ve ran out of coke…of all things NO COKE!! All in all a very unpleasant experience for us all. Money would of been better thrown down the road. I will certainly NOT be rushing back there again, if ever. What a great start to 2026, thanks villa verde….!!

We booked a table for 12 at 7:30 PM on a Friday to celebrate a 69th birthday. Despite paying a £120 deposit in advance, the service was the worst I have ever encountered. It took 15 minutes for our initial drink order to be taken and a further 20 minutes for them to arrive. We finally placed our food order at 8:00 PM, but starters did not appear for another 45 minutes. The mains arrived nearly 50 minutes after the starters were finished. These were brought out so slowly that there was a 10-minute gap between the first and last plates being served, meaning some of our party had already finished their food before the final meals arrived. When we raised this with the manager, he was incredibly defensive, blaming us for being a large party and not pre-ordering, despite the restaurant happily taking our deposit without ever mentioning a pre-order requirement. When asked for a discount for the poor service, the manager said no. I told him that’s fine but I will not be paying in full for my meal, he then threatened to call the police and stormed off. I was more than happy for him to do so, as it was an absurd reaction to a reasonable request for a discount. Eventually, after speaking with a member of the party at the bar he agreed to a 10% reduction on the overall bill and the removal of one meal. As we left, we were even given a filthy look which was award winning by a waitress despite politely saying goodbye. While the food was lovely and couples seem to have a better experience, this restaurant is clearly unable to handle large groups. It was a disappointing end to a family celebration, and I would not recommend this venue for a special occasion.
