Went to cafe in Havana with my boyfriend today and probably the best Cuban food and dine in experience I’ve had in a very long time. Staff was patient and kind. Food came out quickly and was so delicious! 10/10 would recommend

The staff is very friendly and was able to accommodate a request. I had the croquttes sandwich and a side of pork chunks. Both items were absolutely delicious and the portion may be enough for 2. I will definitely be back to try other menu items. I definitely recommend this Cuban restaurant.

Café in Havana is a very special place for our community. You can taste and enjoy our unique Cuban food flavor with fresh products and the best service in town. We were in so much need of a place like this. Great service, affordable price and beautiful decoration. For sure we will go again😉👌

Delicious authentic Cuban delights in PSL!! W🤩W!!! The food is fresh and delicious. We had a meaty chorizo omelette that was big enough to share! Perfectly balanced cafe con leche. A sweet guava pastry and a savory meat empanada…all were FRESH, AUTHENTIC & YUMMY!! The staff is very friendly and attentive. It was great to watch the steady flow of diverse customers enjoying a little taste of Cuban culture this morning!! Welcome to the neighborhood plaza!! May you always have a steady flow satisfied customers!! See you again soon!! Bendiciones ✨

Absolutely delicious. The meals come with a good amount of food, especially for the pricing. The affagato was delightful, as well as the guava filled pastries (My favorite). I got a cuban sandwich and Guava drink to go outside of our breakfast. Overall, everything was phenomenal and the workers are so kind. We can't wait to go back!

Best little Cuban Café in town. We had the Cuban sandwich, fried yucca, empanada and guava pastry along with Cuban coffee and mango juice, and it was absolutely divine. Sorry for the picture of the empty plates, but we ate it so fast I couldn’t get one of the perfectly executed food.

After seeing a recommendation , I tried lunch at the new Cuban spot. Line out the door. Very good and my favorite in PSL. See you there on the next visit! What we tried: -Pan con Lechón: very good -Flan: I haven’t had a homemade tasting one like that in years -Cafe con leche: wife loved it -Cafecito: hits the mark. If you know you know. -Croquetas: crunchy and really great. -Guava and cheese pastry: amazing. Staff was friendly too!

Perfection. Literal perfection. There was nothing that was subpar. The place looks beautiful. The staff is friendly and attentive and helpful. The food was priced extremely reasonably and the portions were gigantic. I'm blown away.

Very clean and bright inside. Not a lot of room to sit down inside but there were some open tables. The service was very friendly and helpful. Iit seemed like kitchen may have gotten a little backed up with a rush and who im assuming was a manager jumped in to help and customer service remained friendly and conversational while moving quickly to respect everyone’s time. They were out of pastries I came in less than an hour before close so I’ll be back to try those earlier next time. Ordered a beef empanada the breading was flaky and crispy, filling was seasoned well, meat was moist and it was very full. Could enjoy it on its own but they included a salsa which made it even better (sweet heat very good flavoring) 10/10 Also ordered flan which was much bigger than expected could definitely share with someone else. Good texture, lots of sauce included 10/10 Ordered cafe havana which surpassed my expectations. I like that it’s sweet without being overly sweet and I can still taste a very rich non-bitter coffee flavor without the vanilla overpowering it 10/10

Small little cafe with friendly service. We ordered the American breakfast, guava and cheese pastry, Cuban coffee and cafe con leche. Everything was hot, fresh and very good. Will be going back again.

It's it such a pleasure to dine at Café in Havana. It's like sitting in an Abuela kitchen eating comfort food. Great staff with great service. Relaxing atmosphere, highly recommend a gem in Port St Lucie.

Driving down St. James Drive on our way to a listing appointment, Swampy, always on the lookout for culinary adventures, spotted something intriguing. "Look, look, over there, a new Cuban Café!" he exclaimed excitedly. And let me tell you, when 🐊Swampy gets excited about food, you know it's going to be good. Despite the lunch rush, with only three people manning the counter, the efficiency was impressive. We were in and out in no time, even with the line out the door. Now, onto the main event – the food. We couldn't resist ordering the Steak Cuban sandwich. Oh boy, was it authentic and packed with flavor! And as if that wasn't enough, we also indulged in the guava pastry – absolutely mouthwatering and delicious. Veronica, being born in Cuba and with her mom still residing in Little Havana, holds a high standard for Cuban cuisine. And she gave this place her seal of approval, proclaiming it the BEST in our area! So, if you're on the hunt for a Cuban Café/Bakery or just craving a delicious lunch spot, look no further than Havana. Trust me, 🐊Swampy🐊 and I give it our enthusiastic thumbs up!

My son and I decided to give this Cafe a try. Its right next to us and by our publix. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Not only was the authentic cuban cuisine delicious but the breakfast items were as well. My son ordered the Ropa Vieja breakfast, and I ordered the Cuban Eggs. These dishes come with a mix of cuban staples and the normal breakfast fare. The Ropa Vieja was sweet and spicy, and my son said the potatoes and eggs were some of the best he's ever had. My Cuban Eggs came served on homemade corn grits with some savory ground beef like empanada filling. It was absolutely delicious. The grits were creamy and played well off of the meat. Both of us also ordered the Bombom Coffee, which is cuban coffee with sweetened condensed milk and foam. It was perfectly balanced and hit the spot. We also ordered croquetas, empenadas and guava pastries to go. These made a tasty and filling snack later on. All in all, this was an amazing experience. The cuban food was on point, the breakfast items were delicious, and the pastries were to die for. If you want to have an awesome breakfast with a cuban flare, Cafe in Havana is a must!

Amazing food and staff. Every time we order from them, you receive the freshest food, and the flavors are so mouth watering. Now that they are open for dinner on weekends (at their new location in the same Publix plaza they were - now on the PNC bank side), I can’t wait to try the dinner menu.

Best place around for Cuban food ( real food) even the burger is real meat. We loved it again after they moved to the bigger location in the same plaza. Delicious cafe con leche and pastelitos 😋 Highly recommended!!

The food was delicious. 2 to 3 dollars more than it should be imo for a 40 dollar order but the quality was good and the service was good. I will go back again when I pass through the area.

We first discovered this café during the Oxbow EcoCenter's Earth Day in April. We were excited to find them since there aren't that many authentic Cuban restaurants in the Treasure Coast, sadly. We've been getting take-out lunches from them for several months now, and have loved everything we've ordered! The traditional Cuban sandwich, tostones (with wow garlic sauce), yucca fritta (with wow green sauce), black beans and rice, green tossed salads, fish dishes...all of it was fantastic. 🍽️🍚🥗🧄🫛 The food is very fresh, carefully packed, and there's plenty packed, too. Staff is always wonderful to carry out patrons, and happy to see us. We haven't gotten to dine in yet, but we hope to soon! We want to THANK the staff for using biodegradable paper-based food containers instead of plastic or styrofoam. We appreciate the fact they are choosing to use less pollutive products. A+ for that! ♻️ Pictured is today's meal for 2: Cuban burger, tossed green salad, tostones, black beans and rice. Yum!! 🇨🇺👍🏻

Cafe In Havana....de verdad se la comio! Wow, hats off! Incredible customer service, great atmosphere, amazing taste not to mention how far they will go if they continue to provide this whole combination. Ropa Vieja was really great (I had it in Old Havana— breakfast dish of Ropa Vieja topped with a fried egg); Service was friendly, the entire team is just sweet individuals! Highly recommend for a good neighborhood casual spot. Counter ordering and the food is delivered served to your table, not waiter service.

Ok ok ok. This is the BEST cuban food around town and maybe Nearby cities. The food was amazing. The staff was courteous and were on top of everything. 1 of the owners was even going by all the tables Making sure everyone was satisfied. The flavors are 100% straight out of Havana. We cannot wait to go back again and try something else on the menu. The pastries were hot and fresh. The juices felt like they came right off the tree and into the cup. Great spor for locals and tourists, you can people from all ethnicities walking in as we were eating, this lets you know the place is GREAT. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

First off I want to start off by saying that I am Cuban from Miami. So I think I’m pretty qualified to write this review 😉. This was a great local spot to stop at to get some authentic Cuban food. We ordered the “grilled chicken sandwich” and the “pan con lechón”. Both were delicious. Also ordered cafe con leche. Coffee tasted just how my grandmother used to make the authentic way. Staff were very hospitable and brought us complimentary croquetas. That was very sweet. Food came out quick. Restaurant looked very clean and I appreciate that. Would come here again.

We had a great lunch of Palomilla Cuban Steak with black beans and rice. We had to of course add the sweet plantains and tostones. The lunch was fantastic and my 80 year old mother treated me for my 63rd birthday. However, as a real Cuban man that loves to talk to anyone that gives me the time of day, I met the staff and they’re great people from Eastern Cuba. We will definitely come back again very soon! They sang the birthday song in Spanish and gave me a free flan dessert 🍮! If you’ve never been here you’re missing out for sure! They even backed up my story that I was 61…hahaha

I’ve been here many times and have never had something I didn’t like. The owner is so sweet (offers my kids free croquettes). the service was taking a little longer than usual today and we had a fussy baby with us, so the owner offered to drive the food to our house for us. This Cafe just started making authentic Cuban dinners. What a surprise! Rice and beans like marital made. Awesome taste from a place that doesn't look like a restaurant. The owner, Jose, gave me a Cafe con Leche and an arrow con Leche for my birthday. Awesome service, and I'll be making this place my new go to for Cuban food.

Cafe In Havana has become my absolute favorite spot in town — I’ve been coming here for years, and every visit feels like coming home. The food is consistently amazing — flavorful, authentic Cuban dishes that are clearly made with love. Their Cuban sandwich is hands-down the best I’ve ever had, and the plantains are always perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside. The atmosphere is warm and inviting — cozy, with a genuine family vibe that makes you want to stay a little longer. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming; they remember your name, your favorite order, and make sure you leave with a smile. It’s rare to find a place that delivers great food, great people, and great energy every single time — but this place does it effortlessly. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic Cuban experience — you’ll fall in love just like I did!

Excellent atmosphere for breakfast! The food could have some improvement altho, the fried potatoes chunks were oversalted into oblivion Cool place to visit, would go again just to try lunch to see if it's any better.

I’m so happy to have a Cuban place near me! The atmosphere is nice, it’s a small spot but they are very busy so you have to come quick so they don’t run out of items! It seems that they are very busy so table space is limited and waiting areas are slim. I tried the pan con bistec & a colada. Delicious coffee flavor. Delicious crispy bread with tender steak and fresh veggies. The chimichurri was slightly sweet, I do prefer it more vinegary. Will definitely be back!! 💗

It could have been a fabulous cubana Toasted perfectly on good bread. They went cheap on mustard and pickles - no bite or contrast. It makes my top 5 list. Just fell a tad short. Good service and pricing..

Food was OK, coffee decent. The place was very clean. And staff was friendly. I was a little disappointed by the overcooked pastries but maybe we had a bad day that day and they are typically not as overdone. The staff was great and service was fast. The coffee was also decent. I don’t know if I will personally ever go back again but it’s worth a try if you’re in that area and into Cuban food.

Nice lil breakfast place for a quick bite! Food was good! my steak a lil over cooked but nothing to really complain about! Staff was pleasant as well! Not much seating but I did order to go! I forgot what it was called but I ordered the breakfast that has three eggs steak and potatoes with I believe toast which was really good and the salsa for the steak was awesome too! I did order the ham croquettes as they have pastries and empanadas in the display case by the register! Overall nice spot!

I ordered the pan con bistec (Steak sandwich) I was told it came with caramelized onions, potato sticks inside the sandwich with lettuce & tomatoes. I know a what a great steak sandwich should look like. I will start by saying that the meat was tender and seasoned. However, the lettuce looked like they ran out and used romaine lettuce that belonged in a salad instead of a sandwich. There was 5 potato sticks on each 1/2 of the sandwich . Onion was not caramelized and I ordered a bottled water. I was charged for it and they did not have any left. so she gave me a cup and told me to get it from the dispenser. Never offered to refund me. There was no ice in the soda machine . Mind you they are located right next to a Publix and with all the employees they have no one was sent to go get ice for their customers. Did not quite get a warm welcome from the young staff.

Good place for families, or individuals to bring your lap top or take it to go. Good food, nice ambiance, however the customer service isnt the best and hit or miss. Its not the worst but for the prices I didnt find them to be very friendly. It definitely made me think twice sometimes about return visits.

Very disappointed with the checkout experience. This is an order at the front restaurant where you seat yourself and food is brought out, yet the cashier automatically selected a 20% tip and added a $10 tip without asking or giving the option to choose. I was with three separate groups, and she did this to every single one of us. We have no issue tipping, but it is extremely unprofessional and inappropriate for an employee to decide their own tip especially when their role was limited to taking the order. This felt misleading and left a bad impression overall. Management should absolutely address this.

J
John Solari

I was born and raised in Hialeah so anytime I see a new Cuban spot I check it out. place was very nice and inviting so I ordered a pan con luchón which is a Cuban pork sandwich and it was disgusting. No flavor but the onions they put on there and you can tell they just heated up the pork in the microwave and threw it on the toasted bread. Very disappointed the pastries was good but I took two bites out of the sandwich and only ate the pastries.

N
Nana

The atmosphere is nice, however it is cuban food wayyy overpriced. 17$ for a pan con bistec? Not on cuban bread? Then 2 papa rellenas small 9$. When i ordered they had a pastelito of guava so i said i wanted it when they lady brought the food she brings a cheese and a guava and cheese. O we ran out. I will not go back. I do not recommend them. And i suggest waiting til vicky opens. Cuban food is not supposed to be a fancy high end food. Stop making it overpriced.

I don’t normally leave negative reviews but when I do it’s for good reason. I called to place a to go order, and was left on hold for over 5 minutes to ultimately be hung up on. I could hear the woman in the background not just taking 1 order but 3 orders as I waited then was hung up on. Wow! No customer service here.

Miserable costumer service. I wanted to go this restaurant with my dad and my sister we were the ONLY people in there and just acted like we didn’t even exist. Some girl that works there looked my dad directly in his eyes and didn’t say NOTHING. Not even a hello. We left after being ignored for a while. Please do not take your family over there good lord…

A
Alphonso Williams

I visited this location with my two children and unfortunately had a very uncomfortable experience. When we walked in, the restaurant was completely empty. There were three women working at the time. One was cleaning tables, two were in the back. Despite clearly seeing us enter, no one greeted us, acknowledged us, or said a word. One employee walked past us to the bathroom without any acknowledgment. Another made direct eye contact with me and still said nothing. We stood there unsure of what to do. Eventually, a gentleman from the back came out and simply pointed toward the front and asked, “Are you ready?”—with no greeting or welcome. After we left, a caucasian family walked in and was immediately greeted. I want to be clear: I’m not making accusations. But the contrast in treatment was noticeable enough to make me pause and question the experience. At the very least, it was poor customer service and an unwelcoming environment—especially for a parent with children. First impressions matter. A simple “hello” goes a long way. Unfortunately, this visit left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome, and I won’t be returning.

Food is ok, not like Cuban food from Miami but it’s alright. A little pricey in my opinion. Serviced is mediocre as they tend to for get something’s here and there. And they never have enough of anything you want made and have to wait for it. It’s sad when you ask for 1 stuffed fried potato ball and they make you buy 3 of them cause they don’t want to sell you just one. Same with the croquets, they make you buy them in groups of three, instead of charging you on an individual basis so you can order the amount you really want. The atmosphere is small and feels too enclosed. The outside is a little loud with traffic in and out but alright. I went here three times ever and never going back. I could go to better places.
