The Ambiance was upscale elegant without being stuffy. The food was beautifully presented. After the appetizer of steak tips in an amazing tarragon infused bearnaise, I wished I had ordered a steak as it was the most tender and flavorful pieces of beef. However, my veal in a delicate gorgonzola cream sauce did not disappoint. The beef tips were by far our favorite appetizer, the calamari was amazing, and uniquely filleted not the Rings that are commonplace. The salmon ceviche was a bit flat on Flavor compared to the other two appetizers. My dining companions chose the osso buco and the salmon, both said they were very good but would order something different than salmon next time because of so many choices. They cocktails were delicious and beautifully presented. We took a pass on dessert although the key lime pie was tempting.

Another perfect restaurant in Vero Beach. Pricey, but worth it, especially for special occasions. Service was flawless from the cozy bar through dessert. Kitchen was flexible, cocktails thoughtfully crafted, meals were incredible. Dessert on point. Order yourself a bottle of Bhakta brandy to take home. Memorable. Ask for Jason.

Best food we had while vacationing on Vero Beach. Highly recommend the scallops if you like scallops. Filet had a beautiful presentation on top of a salt block. Really good flavors and textures. Also, dog friendly! We did outdoor seating and they brought water and offered treats for our dog. Our waiter was top notch. Easily walkable from Kimpton and Holiday Inn hotel area.

We celebrated a birthday with a friends and had a great experience! Two members of our group are gluten free and they made everything perfect. We had a great time and returning soon for another celebration!

We’ve been there a few times and the food is always great. Top notch service too. I really wish they were open for lunch or early afternoon on the weekends. We’d probably go more often.

Tough time to be in the restaurant business - Dec 30, in a resort town. These guys were up to the challenge. Food was great. The staff was even better!

Polo has become one of our favorite dining spots. Cool bar with excellent spirits selection. The serving crew is on point and enhance the experience. A weekly go to spot for date night.

We celebrated our engagement here and everything was amazing. Steve was our waiter and even gifted us a $20 gift card for our next visit. They even put a sign up congratulating us on the TV outside of the restaurant. The food was amazing and i would absolutely recommend polo steak and sea! My husband and I have eaten there twice. Both times the food was incredible and service excellent. One time we were seated outside and once inside. Both were very comfortable.

Christmas dinner was amazing 👏 We had a wonderful evening sitting outside. London was our server. She was fantastic and the food was AMAZING!

We love Polo Steak and Sea. Anytime we are in the Vero Beach area it is a high point of our travels. The menu has an amazing selection and the staff greets us like friends. We are looking forward to our next Florida trip. It’s not a meal, it’s an experience. See you in January. Dawn & Steve S.

Polo Steak and Sea is a great place to enjoy a delightful dinner. A tender filet or a flaky tile fish whatever you're in the mood for you will enjoy. Don't forget to leave room for a dessert, the chocolate balloon filled with chocolate mousse and berries is delectable. All this in a cozy space.

My hubby and I celebrated my birthday at Polo Steak and Sea last night. It was by far the best dinner we've had in Vero. We had a quiet table in the back. Our server, Chris, was phenomenal. He was attentive, made great suggestions and let us take our time. The manager, Steven, checked in on us several times. Their new sommeliar, Ackee, was very helfpul in choosing a wine that would complement both of our meals. The food was fantastic. I started with the lobster bisque, which was delicious. Hubby started with sashimi trio. He thoroughly enjoyed his prime New York Strip which was cooked to perfection. I don't eat meat, but did have a bite of his truffled mashed potatoes which were the best mashed potatoes I've ever had. I had the seafood pasta which was also phenomenal. The lobster was a little tricky to get out of the shell, but the sauce was so good that I licked my fingers clean since we were at a table in the back ;-). Great atmoshphere, delicious food, wonderfully attentive staff. We've found our favorite restaurant in Vero!

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! Stephen and Jeff were hands down the best servers. Attentive, friendly, and made us feel completely taken care of the entire night.For dinner we ordered the ribeye and the New York strip, and both were cooked to perfection juicy, flavorful, and easily some of the best steaks we’ve ever had. We also had a sushi roll that was incredibly fresh and delicious, along with the oysters Rockefeller which were rich, buttery, and perfectly prepared.Everything about this place was top tier, the food, the service, and the atmosphere. Huge shoutout again to Stephen and Jeff for making the night unforgettable. We will definitely be back soon.

Awesome customer service started with offering me a new cashmere blanket at the door while we wait, because the weather was a little chilly! The food was delicious and the service of all the staff was exceptional. 5 star they started out our New Year’s Eve perfect.

We’ve been enjoying Polo Grill for as long as it’s been there. We probably had the most delicious meal there ever last weekend. Oysters, wedge salad and a perfectly prepared Prime Rib-eye was sensational. Of course our favorite server Jacob made it even more enjoyable. Can’t wait to do it all over again. See you soon.

If I could give Polo Grill more than 10 stars, I absolutely would. My husband and I dine there two to three times a year for special occasions, and we always request Jacob. He is truly exceptional. Even on the rare occasions when he’s not our server, Jacob always recognizes us, stops by our table, and makes sure everything is perfect. Jacob exemplifies outstanding service — he is knowledgeable about the menu, attentive, kind, and genuinely cares about his guests. He always ensures my husband’s meal is prepared perfectly, accommodating his many food allergies with great care. Polo Grill is already a wonderful restaurant, but Jacob’s professionalism and personal touch make every visit extraordinary.

The food is wonderful, always had an amazing dining experience which ever entrée I choose. The service is very personable and professional. The atmosphere is just right for any occasion.

What a wonderful meal and dining experience! So great, we came back a second time even though vacation limited the number of restaurants we could visit in Vero. Both times were exceptional, the food plentiful, prepared to perfection and super delicious and the staff were so attentive and the atmosphere was wonderful. We ate inside once and outside the second time! I also got a special birthday treat which made my special day even more so! I’ll definitely be back on my next trip there!

Our server was absolutely fabulous and the kitchen did an amazing job for it to be the night of the Christmas parade. We really enjoyed our starters and entrées. I would’ve given five stars, except the calamari appetizer that we were told was not too hot was super spicy. We will definitely be back!!!!!

The food here is consistently delicious. Out of multiple times I’ve visited this restaurant, once the steak I ordered was a bit overcooked & without hesitation it was replaced with exactly what I wanted. Will always recommend this restaurant to any & all visitors to Vero Beach. Thank you for being one of the best!

We go to the Tides often and we recently discovered The Polo Grill. Wow the food is awesome. We are here on a Friday early at 5:00. The place was not very crowded which is shocking because it definitely is on par with the Tides. Our waiter Jacob was also wonderful. We love it here. Definitely give it a try you will not be disappointed!

Very nice restaurant and bar just steps from the Atlantic Ocean. Great service and food. We had the 7oz filet mignon and were not disappointed! A great dessert is the chocolate balloon. Enough for everyone at the table.

We went during the week so it was quiet believe only one other table was being serviced outside I noticed that the outdoor seating isn't over crowded and there is a lot of adequate space between tables unsure if this is due to covid or the way it's always been but it's nice to see a place not try to cram max capacity in dining and everyone feeling like sardines. Appetizer - shrimp cocktail and muscles (muscles were amazing) Meals - 😢 I can't recall what we had since this was few weeks ago, but no complaints of the food. Believe I had the lamb (pictures) which was very filling and good, was more fat than I expected of the meat but I don't order that very often. My wife's dinner was the first photo and I preferred that over my dinner. I ordered the side of asparagus and I shouldn't of (didn't finish it) and I think they add way too much hollandaise sauce for my taste. It also wasn't as crunchy as I'd expect it to. Some pieces were and I loved it but there were too many that were more towards soggy which is why I reduced a star. The drinks were flavorful and strong so kudos to that. I got the Cosmo and don't recall what the wifey got.

Oysters were not properly shucked, no small fork provided, slow getting second drink request. Price very high for service provided. Steak was great. Salmon was average. Overall overpriced for level of service and food quality.

The atmosphere a server we had was great! Food looked good coming out. Nice dining experience. People next to us were a bit loud but overall was manageable to enjoy ourselves. 3 stars for the food is only because hours later after arriving back home, me and my fiancee felt sick to our stomachs. We can’t pin point if it were the medium rare steak and lamb or the oysters but something didn’t sit right. Today we are throwing up and going to the bathroom. Since we both ate the oysters and each had our own plates, we are pin pointing the oysters which means they possibly weren’t cooked or handled right. That’s unfortunate because it was a nice experience besides the fact.

We made reservations for our anniversary dinner only to be told that we have to sit outside. Please specify that on the reservation. If there's a strict dress code, disclose that on your website so people from out of town are in the know. The host saw my dress but apparently because I had my arms out and open toe heels, we couldn't sit inside. This place is not that upscale to do that. You're on the beach for crying out loud! At least Jacob our waiter was very kind and attentive. He and he alone gets the 5 stars. On to the food. We ordered the steak bites and that was amazing. The cheese and crackers they give you were pretty good too. The crackers could do without the seasoning (it was too much). I ordered the fish special. It lacked flavor, it was chewy and the rice was cold. My husband ordered the duck. I tried that and it was tasty. But his mashed potatoes were cold too. I don't get how these kitchens just put out cold food. I get you have to prep early but there are plenty of ways to get your food out hot and on time to your guests to enjoy. On to the atmosphere. Since we sat outside,it gave lunch time vibes. There's no music out there. Adding a some music, maybe some art on easels would elevate the outdoor dining experience.

We were driving around looking for a place to have dinner that we had never been to before on our trips to Vero Beach. We decided to try this spot. This is a very large restaurant with seating inside and outside. We chose outside. The hostess was very pleasant and seated us quickly. Our server came out within a minute to get our drink orders. He read us the specials and left to get our drinks. I ordered the soup of the day, New England Clam Chowder. It came out quickly and was only just warm not hot. It was only mediocre at best. I've lived in the New England area for many years and have had much better chowder. My husband had a Caesar salad. Dinner came out a short time later. Once our dinner was served, we didnt see ANY servers until we were finished our meal. My husband had the fish special and said it was good. I ordered the petite filet medium rare and have to say although it was extremely, tender it was definitely not medium rare more like medium to medium well. I ate it only because I was hungry and my husband was more than halhway through his dinner. The loaded baked potato was just OK. The potato's skin was very hard which made it difficult to get it open to get to the actual potato. I ate about half of it. My dinner came with the truffle mashed potato (I don't care for them), which my husband sampled and said was very good. All in all, my husband thoroughly enjoyed his dinner, mine was just ok. We will probably go back in the future to try it again.

Food was quite good. Service friendly but slow. Real negative was the fact that we were asked if we wanted sparkling or still water. no mention of a free option of tap water. The bottle of still water turned up on our bill at $3.50 - toral surprise! left me with a bad taste .

Something changed since last time ! We used to go and be very happy with everything! I made the reservation for six people on Saturday. It was for a birthday celebration. Two out of six people from the table ordered the Brie. Came out a block of cheese,cold, not at all is it supposed to be The risotto was subpar, before it was the best risotto we ever had We had to wait a long time to have water/ice refilled. Our food came out way after anyone else Tables that came 45 minutes after us got their food and left way before us When I mentioned it to the waiter about the Brie he said he’s gonna talk with the kitchen. Please bring back the quality you used to have! For birthdays or anniversary, they used to put your name on the TV at the entrance Not anymore or they forgot unfortunately That was a nice touch but not anymore.

My wife and family have gone here for years. Many times ordering our favorites. However something has changed since we were last there. The Ahi Tuna Stack had brown avocado and the lowest grade Tuna we've ever tried to eat. It was fatty and tough. My wife's steak should have been called the Hindenburg as it was so charred on the outside. My Seafood Fra Diablo was a joke. I've had crayfish larger than the Lobster, the shrimp were overcooked and dry. They should look for a new chef. Too pricey for a bad meal.

Probably one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The service was extremely poor — our server was completely inattentive and nowhere to be found. We ordered a side of rice for the table that was rock-hard and undercooked; they removed it from the table but still charged us for it. The steaks came out rare, and the lamb dish was so small it felt more like an appetizer. There wasn’t a manager in sight the entire time to even offer to fix our dishes. Despite the restaurant only having three occupied tables, our meal took over two hours. Overall, a truly disappointing experience.

I took my parents , daughter, granddaughter and husband for dinner. We ordered drinks,apps and identical main courses, Pasta Fra Diablo. Our drinks and appetizers arrived promptly, but 75 minutes later our main courses were still missing in action. When the food finally arrived, all orders were lukewarm at best, with only one dish being hot. The pasta in at least two of the dishes appeared unmixed with the sauce. Most concerning, when I began eating my dish, I discovered it contained no pasta at all. Initially I indicated to the server my lactose intolerance and asked to ensure my dish had no butter, milk, cream or cheese, with no mention of eggs. When I asked the server about this, I was told the kitchen excluded the pasta because of eggs. I explained that eggs are not dairy and that dairy refers to cow's milk products.The server removed my bowl and returned almost immediately with the same bowl, this time with pasta added. The noodles appeared simply placed on top, were not mixed into the sauce, and the dish did not resemble what we had enjoyed previously, and again only warm, not freshly prepared. At that point, I told the server 1 was no longer interested in eating the dish and asked that it be removed from the bill. The server informed us that he spoke with the manager/ owner, who agreed to remove my dish from the bill and provided two $20 gift certificates. While removing the dish was expected, I was surprised that the manager or owner never came to our table to apologize or check in. Additionally, there is some irony in receiving $40 in gift certificates when the dish we typically order costs $50. We were extremely disappointed with this experience, and felt it was important to share our concerns. We emailed the restaurant, but 2 weeks later no response hence the public review.

Horrible service, incorrect order transcription, extremely slow service and overpriced food. Never have we waited one 1 and a half hours between appetizers and our main entree. Our party of five were ready to go home before our tardy entrees were served. It was a major disappointment and far below what a quality establishment should offer to their customers. The manager asked if it was a server issue as it seems our order was put in so very late. What ever the reason, this speaks so very poorly for an upscale restaurant. Needless to say, we will avoid this dining establishment like the plague. For the cost, there are so very many other choices where they actually deliver decent service.
