Surprising! Excellent food with engaging plating up. Delicious fried anchovies tasty while not oily; Gorgeous paccheri with swordfish and dried Pachino's tomato; Exciting roasted cuttlefish with artichokes and a spoon of Pesto; Exsquisite unconventional "Cappon magro" a traditional Genoa recipe with seabass, shrimps, greenbeans, red beet, carrots and salsa verde (genoese parsley sauce). Never forget dessert with "Tiramisù with chestnut cream", Panera (coffee based Genoa semifreddo), Prescinseua mousse with mixed berries (Prescinseua is a fresh cheese typical of the province of Genoa, sort of halfway between ricotta and Greek yoghurt). A stop at Ostaia (tavern) "La Forchetta Curiosa" is pleasant and worthy. Enjoy!

The place close to the Sant'Agostino church is very beautiful. Perfect for couples is friends. The menu is typical but original, with mainly fish meals. The wine offer is wide a particular, grouped by Italian regions. The oste is also very welcoming and overall is not expensive (2 first plates, 1 second plate, wine 0.25L and an coffee for 50 euros) 5 stars suggested.

Meals are originals and awesomely tasty from starter to dessert. The card is not in english but the waitress is here to help with translation and good suggestion. They accept to serve a meal to share for 2 person. It was a saturday lunch in february and not as full as we would expect it to be. Go try !

Osteria molto carina in centro a Genova. Tutto il personale è stato molto gentile e disponibile dando buoni consigli sui piatti. Abbiamo provato la pasta al pesto, i ravioli del plin, il pane col ragù e il polpo. Tutto molto buono. Consigliato.

Bella trattoria nel cuore di Genova, si mangia bene spendendo il giusto con piatti semplici e gustosi. Il servizio è rapido e puntuale la qualità della materia prima ottima, si apprezza la cucina semplice e delicata, a volte un po' troppo "morbida" , viene da dire che a volte lo chef potrebbe osare qualcosa di più "forte" ma forse è meglio che si badi alla tradizione senza forzare troppo su sapori e/o accostamenti impegnativi. Ci si alza dal tavolo soddisfatti e sereni. Ci tornerò certamente perchè voglio provare altri piatti e gustare le future novità.

Piatti raffinati e ben preparati Le tagliatelle al baccalà con olio al prezzemolo e pecorino molto delicate Per secondo Filetto di maiale CBT, (cottura a bassa temperatura)radicchio trevigiano, e crema di patate e zenzero semplicemente ottimo. Ottimi i vini naturali che hanno a listino Personale sempre presente per consiglie e sciogliere ogni dubbio sulla scelta

Ristorante accogliente dove è possibile ordinare piatti buoni e ben fatti a prezzi onesti sia all'interno e sia all'esterno del locale. L'unica cosa che mi è dispiaciuta sono i loro dolci.

Locale semplice ma carino, servizio rapido, nulla da dire. Per i piatti avevamo ottime aspettative e sono state deluse, frittura gommosa e dolci cosi cosi... Non credo torneremo!

Bella location nei Vicoli, proprio di fronte al teatro della Tosse. Cucina tradizionale, non turistica. Proposta ben completa sia sul lato carne che su quello pesce. Primi eccellenti: ravioli del plin con fondo bruno molto saporiti e trofie avvantaggiate delicate. Soddisfacenti anche i secondi: stracotto di manzo gustoso e tenerissimo e frittura di calamari ben asciutta e leggera. Bene i dolci, belli “carichi”. Servizio impeccabile. Conto in linea con la qualità di ciò che si mangia.

Very helpfull stuff, no English menu but got everything translated by the waitress. She also suggested to split every plate in two. As consequence to that, we hadn't killed our stomachs, had panty of energy to continue our touring, try more dishes and payed less. That was like perfect deal!

All’arrivo in questo ristorante siamo stati accolti con gentilezza dalle cameriere. Il locale è ampio, curato e ben arredato. Il cibo era buono ma un po’ al di sotto delle aspettative, in particolare il dessert.

Osteria suggestiva davanti al teatro della tosse. Servizio attento e gentile, a tratti lento. Cappon Magro eccezionale, il resto nella media. Alcuni piatti un po’ salati.

Vivo in Francia per i 2/3 del mio tempo, ragion per cui mi piace il tipo di cucina creativa proposto da questo locale e non mi sconvolgo dei prezzi, comunque molto al di sopra della media genovese (40 euro per un antipasto, un secondo vegetariano e un calice di vino). Posso anche passare sulla pessima figura di servire un fondo di bottiglia, visto che il calice è stato prontamente sostituito (su mia richiesta), ma far pagare l'acqua di rubinetto NO: o si serve solo acqua in bottiglia o si opta per la tradizionale caraffa offerta. Ma bisogna scegliere, perché al cattivo gusto c'è un limite!

Il locale è carino e la ragazza che serve ai tavoli molto gentile ma prezzi eccessivi rispetto alle porzioni. Soprattutto per la pasta dove si può abbondare un po’ di più. Ci siamo alzati affamati

This restaurant was recommended to me by a colleague who worked in Genoa. I had been there before and was very satisfied with the creative cuisine, so I decided to go there this time before leaving my house. However, the menu was standard and the food was average taste. The prices were reasonable for a restaurant, and many locals were dining there. The waitress was running the place by herself and did an amazing job.

Nothing special, a good place to eat but expensive for what it is. 3 euro per person is too much. Prices of the food are standar. Taste is good, but nothing to die for. They take more than 30 minutes to bring the food.

Service is strange. Maybe only this pair of waiters were such… Wines are good. Also natural wine. Food was Ligurian, but I ate food much better in the region. Overcooked octopus and other seafood.

For a slow food recommended Osteria, the food was disappointing. Best item was the fried anchovies appetizer, however they were not seasoned and so were unfortunately quite bland. Lemon helped but did not save them. Capponada was a miss, bland and disparate in ingredients and composition on the plate. Involtini di pesce spada was also a miss, meat on top was over cooked and didn’t complemented the swordfish. The dish was served with a purée that was quite good and seasoned well, but it needed some kind of sauce or acid to round it out. Asparagus cream sauce on ravioli was ok but super vegetal and felt overdone. Stale bread and absent waiters were rough given 5 tables and 3 waiters… Unfortunate because other reviews were so good :( but at 80€ for 2 ppl (with vino) I would not recommend to a friend.

We found the place on google maps with good feedbacks 4.4. Cute place out of crowded centre. But food is not for 4.4. Not interesting and not tasty salad, fried anchovies, pasta , 1 glass of wine - 40 euro: so quality is not so bad, but surely for sevond time I would not go there.

Il cibo era ok, cucina tradizionale. Il problema è stato che, nonostante abbiamo ordinato per primi, neanche il tempo di finire il cibo ci hanno chiesto di lasciare il tavolo per cambio turno. Eravamo due adulti e una bambina. Abbiamo solo atteso cibo e mangiato, senza perdere tempo. Avremmo voluto prendere dolce ma abbiamo percepito la fretta. Al momento del pagamento ho gentilmente consigliato di fare turni da almeno 70 minuti, ne erano passati 50 da quando eravamo entrati puntuali alle 19.30 come da riservazione. Mi è stato risposto bruscamente e maleducatamente, con giustificazioni senza senso. Capisco le difficoltà nel gestire le prenotazioni, capita aver sbagliato qualcosa, basta essere sinceri e dire: "Scusateci abbiamo accavallato le prenotazioni dovreste finire in 40 minuti". Avremmo capito e accettato. E invece siamo stati serviti dopo altri che avevano ordinato dopo di noi, costretti ad alzarci dal tavolo appena finito l'ultimo boccone e infine trattati verbalmente con poca professionalità ed educazione. L'accoglienza è fondamentale tanto quanto la qualità del cibo, purtroppo torniamo a casa col ricordo guasto di questa osteria. Prima volta che ci succede in anni di Genova.

Very local place, not English menu, not Italian experience. If you’re are eager to try something super local - welcome. But overall it is not a gut experience for newcomers. Food is overfried, nobody is going to help with natural wine and price is high. So you really need to know what are you asking for.

Ho ordinato dei ravioli di pesce, al primo assaggio mi rendo conto che sono scadenti, di pessima qualità e freddi gelidi, così chiedo di scaldarli magari avevano solo bisogno di essere scaldati, ed invece erano addirittura peggio, il gusto del pesce era rancido, di andato a male. Ho fatto notare che il piatto non l’ho nemmeno finito né praticamente toccato ma comunque hanno fatto finta di niente e abbiamo pagato il conto (salatissimo) anche se era tutto orrendo. Mai più 👎

I booked a table via theFork App as I was going to be quite hungry after a very long travel. There was an opportunity for me to eat there by paying my accumulated points, not money. They cancelled everything though quite soon and I am puzzled why would they treat own clients like that and why be at theFork App with consuming against points option, if they don't de facto do it. 😏🫠🤦🏼

The most disappointing experience in Genoa.The waitress was somewhat confused and lost.We chose the spaghetti with clamps and lime, and tagliatelle with rabbit ragu.The spaghetti were sooo salty that I couldn’t taste anything especially the lime :)) as there were lime peels :D.The tagliatelle were hard boiled and tasted like boiled meat with no sauce at all.And we got only sorry and inadequate laughter.Such a disappointment.
