Love going to DC Pasta! We frequently return because while it’s unassuming on the outside and you’d likely drive right by, once you walk in, you’re greeted by a friendly, knowledgeable and attentive group of people. Multiple people take care of your dining needs. Food is always fantastic and very flavorful without overwhelming you. Atmosphere is subdued and romantic. Meal option shown, is a ‘family-style’ dinner. Select a variety of smaller meals to share around the table, or you can order a single meal style. Varieties of meatballs, bread with house-made spread, and very good homemade iced tea add to the meal. So much comes out, we always have a second table slid over for us. Highly recommend giving DC Pasta a try. Typical bill, w/tip (no alcohol) runs about $55
wagon wheel where good
Went to DC Pasta Co for the first time and it was spectacular. Everything is handmade from scratch. We couldn't have had better service or a better experience. My girlfriend and I are planning many return visits!!!!
Literally the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had! It’s extremely high quality and the service is even better than the delious pasta! I would highly recommend DC pasta. This is definitely my new favorite spot!
Our server Kurt is the best and all the food is fabulous!! The owner needs to friendly up a bit but this is all around a great place to eat. A Little on the pricey side but the food is awesome.
We enjoyed multiple small pasta plates, meatballs (ricotta is delicious), an appetizer, and a bottle of wine. It was delicious and didn't break the bank. We'll be back.
Wow, food is all made from scratch and amazing. Fairly casual place with the food of a swanky high end restaurant. Prices are pretty reasonable considering how good it is.
Amazing pasta dishes with great variety for all tastes and very courteous, knowledgeable staff. Some dishes are a bit pricey but it is well worth it if you enjoy a well done pasta dish.
Knowledgeable staff, great food and pleasant ambiance. The hummus dipping for the bread was very delicious and our cheese plate was also wonderful.
First time visiting.Had chef's special chicken parmesan and it was wonderful. Would really like to visit again to experiment with the various charcuterie options on the menu.
Nice homemade past place in Strongsville. Owned by chef Dante Bocuzzi, who had other highly regarded restaurants in the NE OH area.
Excellent, authentic Italian! Polenta, home made pasta, good service, nice atmosphere - what's not to like!!
Exceptional service in a relaxed atmosphere. Authentic italian expertly prepared.DC Pasta is now on my favorites list.
Yum the bolognese sauce is the best. Olives are to die for and always have the sorbet for dessert!
Always enjoy the food and atmosphere at DC Pasta. Love the Insalata Verde and the pasta is freshly made.
Excellent food and service. We always enjoy our meals in this restaurant.
The guy knows how to get cooking right now if his staff was sent to Italy for customer service education.... It would be on the same palate as eleven Madison
Excellent food and service! Perfect ambiance for a romantic dinner or any occasion
Dante Boccuzzi was Robert De Niro's personal chef. Of course everything would have been at its very best.
Amazing food and great services! One of the best Italian hidden gems!
Amazing food, cozy atmosphere, great servers, affordable.
Party of 6. No complaints, food was very good, nice wine list and service was terrific.
We came here on glowing recommendations from multiple friends and family members. They were all spot on. Everything we ate here was fantastic! The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce was delicious. The wine recommendation went perfectly with our dinner and the prices are very reasonable. Will definitely be back!
TL:DR Great staff and even better food. Excellent atmosphere. Great price for quality and quantity of food. 10/10 would recommend. Very friendly wait and greet staff...Knowledgeable in menu and foods. Wait staff explained the menu and food items with patience and respect to us, new diners. Great variety of foods to choose from, and even the "plain" dishes wounded wonderful! The whole place smells great and has a nice intimate atmosphere to it with subtle background noises from the kitchen and bar and soft pleasant music. Booths and tables are clean, and the chairs are comfy. There is plenty of room on the table for all the plates and drinks, while still allowing you to be close to your date or party. I absolutely would recommend DC Pasta Co. and applaud the restaurant for its wonderful food and service! 10/10
It has been 2 years since my mom and I last ate here. We both enjoyed our appetizers and meals very much. The Eggplant I ordered had a lot of flavor. Can't wait to try a new dish the next time.
Awesome place. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. The plates were unique and interesting, the bread bowl was an old record which was really cool. Loved the food choices. The menu was a little tricky to navigate but not too bad. The food was phenomenal.
went to DC Pasta company for the first time. Had a very good meal, from starter to dessert. Kurt was very helpful in selecting a wine, and had great knowledge of the items on the menu. service was great. nice casual place to eat. a little hard to see from the street.
Excellent service. Excellent food. The location is the only reason I think this restaurant is not as busy as it should be. A true hidden gem! My personal favorite there is the eggplant parmesan. It is filled with super light ricotta and absolutely delicious. And there is enough for a lunch reprise the next day. Marinated vegetables are an excellent appetizer.
The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, since we didn't have reservations. Would definitely recommend making reservations ahead of time as this is a popular place! We ordered 3 of the small plates (pasta bolognese, cavatelli w/spicy sausage and wagon wheels with just marinara) and they were absolutely fantastic! Everything tasted home made and was SO delicious! The spread that comes with the bread was really good, too! Dress appears to be dressy casual to dressy. I did see a couple of people in jeans, but not many. Overall, a fantastic place. Can't wait to return!
Went here on 12/10/16 reservations at 7:00pm. This was our first visit to DC Pasta and we had a pleasant experience. Since moving to Strongsville, it's been one of those places that we always say "we need to go there some day." The wait staff was friendly and professional, the atmosphere was cozy. The food was very good and quantities were fair to price. We started off with the mushroom appetizer (if you like mushrooms it's the bomb - and can serve 4) and their fresh bread and wine. Followed up with Caesar salads, which may be one of the best I've ever had. I had the pasta bolognase and my wife had cavatelli with sausage. We shared one beef and one lamb meatball, which both were delicious. We both enjoyed our dinner and felt relaxed and not rushed. Our server was very courteous and attentive and we were both impressed by how good the staff was for such a small restaurant. Overall we felt like it was a "fine dining experience" but at a reasonable cost. Price: One large appetizer, two salads, two medium pasta dishes = $52 pretax. We did get a bottle of Malbec for $24 (and it was ok... I think it was kinda nice to have wine for under $60 for once). Even though we both had the small pasta bowl we're stuffed and passed on desert. So, we think the cost:quality:quantity is in a good spot. We would recommend DC Pasta for small gatherings or casual night out.
Awesome food, great service. My waiter did a very well job as did the greeter. My food was excellent and I plan to return soon. A+ all the way! I normally don't give high ratings for my reviews, but these guys did a great job! Thanks again =)
Longtime fans. Food and service are always stellar! Wish they'd put the "try 3 mini dishes" option back on the menu because we can never decide which of the delicious options we want! Try the meatballs. All of them. You're welcome.
Hands down best casual restaurant in strongsville. Try everything as we have. We haven't found one bad dish in the place. Not only that but the service is great. The servers are knowledgeable and attentive. Will definitely be back and I hope more restaurants of this caliber open in the area.
The sausage cavatelli was lovely, the wait staff was pleasant, the salad was wonderful. I love that I can get a smaller portion of the main dish so I can eat my entire meal as I despise leftovers and invariably do not eat them.
The first thing about this place that ranks it 4 stars is the service. Our waiter was very good, but I believe at least three other waiters chipped in at different times. They did it very naturally and relaxed. They did a really, really good job. They were really good about finding stuff for my picky daughter to eat. This was the second time that I've been there. The last time was about a year-and-a-half ago. I can't recall the particulars, but somehow I remember enjoying that meal more than I did this meal in terms of food quality. Not that what I had this time was bad, but my favorite collections of my prior meal was that that meal was better. The last last time I was there, I believe I had a sampler of ravioli that was great. This time, my wife and I shared small plates of a Carbonaro and pork Bolognese. Both were... Good good but not great. The Carbonariwas a bit undercooked for my liking and The Bolognese was pretty ordinary though the noodles were delicious. Preferred the meatballs which I thought were great, especially the ricotta meatball. Very good meatballs. Overall, the food was good, but was better the last time I was there. Both times the service has been As Good As It Gets.
Great flavor, portions & ambiance
Very good, amazing food! However the service was super slow. There were only 5 tables sat in the whole place, and it took almost 30 minutes to get our salads! But honestly, I think it was worth the wait for the quality of food. Just don't expect to be in and out.
My wife and I still like it here, but I agree with a lot of the reviews. They seem to be starting to go downhill - less staff, menu isn't changing. The restaurant now is looking pretty dated. I really hope they can turn it around because this restaurant has been a favorite of ours for years!
The food is ok but the service is not that great. I worked in the restaurant industry for 9 years and we would sit people until closing. We have been turned away in the past while they were still “open” and tonight tried to call in a to go order at 9 pm when they close at 9:30 pm and they wouldn’t take it. I’m sorry, but that’s just poor business.
I went here with some friends and were given child-like portions of food. We could tell because the table next to us ordered some of the same meals. Not impressed.
Very underwhelmed. Way overpriced for food that is mediocre at best. Service was unimpressive, especially considering the fact that there were only 2 other parties there. Left feeling like I wasted $40. I will not go back.
Overpriced. Two orders of pasta and sauce, no meat, no salad, no dessert$45. Won't be back.
Service was great and the restaurant itself was nice, it was the price tag and the food that killed it for me. Way to expensive for the portion and quality of the meal, my fiance got a butternut squash dish and there must have been only 5 or 6 tiny little pieces of squash. None of the food tasted amazing though the meatballs were good.
A run down looking restaurant with mediocre food. Walking in you're greeted by a disorganized lobby, getting to the table we were given paper menus that were dirty, wrinkled, stained and torn. The servers were attentive and very nice, they explained the food as it was our first time visiting. Our food was disappointing though, my pork was dry and the portions were small.
I was in town for 2 days and wanted to take 3 friends out to dinner for their birthdays. I picked DC Pasta because of location and I had eaten there before. I have to say this was the worse service I have had in any Cleveland restaurant. We had a party of 7 and everyone of us felt like we were bothering the staff. The pasta was ok nothing to die for or crave. Plus, was the wine list is very good it has wines for a fair price.. Oh and the desert was very good! I will give credit when deserved. None of us will be back though
We had a new waitress-service was very slow and we had to ask for bread, more water, check. Ordered bucatini and was given some form of rigatoni. When we questioned the server, he said it was bucatini -- it was NOT. Bucatini is a long spaghetti-like pasta with a hole- not short fat pasta with a hole. Very disappointing and on the high side price-wise.
DO Not take kids here ... Unless of course your looking for a restaurant owner that says to two year olds that he is "going to throw them in the dumpster" .. Then when confronted he showed no remorse or apologized .. When the server got word he said " yea I'm sorry he does that all the time " need less to say our family of 15 will not be going back to celebrate any more birthdays . Owners name is Jonny del buso
The food was mediocre at best. Service was good. But would not received for the food.
Arrived at 8pm on a Wednesday, party of 1. After standing near the entrance for 5 or so minutes, wondering if I was in the right spot, I was greeted with, "Is it just you? Let me check... We might be able to seat you, but we've been busy, so we're kind of out of food right now." Um, okay. He goes to check, and the verdict is, "We can seat you, but you won't get service until everyone who's already here has their food. It'll probably be half an hour to an hour." Well that sucks, because it smelled fantastic and the place looks charming as hell. Guess maybe I'll try again the next time I'm in town.
This was absolutely the worst dining experience I have ever had. $18.00 plates the size of a bowl of cereal without a salad. Needed to ask for 6 more slices of bread for a party of of 8. My $18.00 eggplant parmigiana tasted like a block of cardboard.
