After discovering 85° Bakery on a cold, rainy day in Shanghai, it was a joy to see 85° show up in my quest for egg custards. Everything I have ever tried has been delicious! Excellent lattes and other drinks and baked goods are always fresh and near perfectly baked. If you haven’t already, try an egg custard!

We love this bakery. They always have a nice selection of pastries, cakes, and drinks. I’ve always been happy after each visit here. They make nice strong iced coffee drinks. Their teas are also refreshing. The drinks tend to be on the sweeter side, so I always ask for less syrup/sweetener for drinks.

My favorite "go-to" place for pastries and "pick-me-up" drinks! Love that they have rewards point system membership that you can use to redeem freebies! Love the various selections of fresh breads, cookies, and cakes! They both have sweet and savory selections. Been a long-time customer way before they opened the Sugarland branch. We used to go to the Bellair branch, which is far. I like the place a lot, though at times, it is kind of annoying when I came by early (right after opening), some of my favorites are not yet available. And when I came by late, some were already gone. I guess that's the price of serving freshly baked bread.

This is a great bakery to get delicious breads. They have a vast selection of flavored breads, small loaves of bread, whole cakes, and slices of cakes. They have coffee, and boba tea too! It’s everything you need in a store for breakfast or just for snacks. However there is limited seating space so not suitable for big groups to chill and chit chat. Use their app for deals, collect points, and to know the latest products they have in store.

Enjoyed our time here. Took my wife & kids here & tried out 85C bakery - as first time visitors we found out what we looked for next time we visit 😉

went in around 3:15 PM and the shelves were plenty stocked. I got a variety of pastries and everything was very good, however, my only complaint is that multiple items on the shelves were not labeled so I didn't know what they were and didn't bother to get them, and I also wish that more of the savory items with meat in them had options without pork

--2025-06-15 Zee provided great service. Going to try the chocolate macchiato cake --2025-04-05 Went here looking for a bakery in this town. Thought I found such a place here. While the stuff looks appetizing it's missing something. Nothing really hit that sweet tooth. And the staff arguing with you about the items in the display case that aren't on the pictured menu. I had to go take a picture of what I saw in the case because it wasn't pictured. And who designed that menu? The words sitting on top for the item but the picture squished onto the words below. Let's not even mention how dirty the laminated menu was. Going to do myself a favor and keep looking.

This place is ok I like that there is a variety options but the thing is that there some of the options have alcohol and gelatin where there are lots of people who don’t eat or drink those ingredients so maybe they should stop making those bakery items that have them in just make them without it

I go to this location often. Love the pastries and coffee. Today I can say not so much. I ordered a cafe latte( perfect) and a pumpkin spice latte, which was cold and not even three quarters of the cup full. I spoke to the manager and she said I had to check the drink before I left, which I have never done because it’s always great. She offered to bring back the drink for a refund. I could barely understand her. Definitely not a great business model. Very disappointed!

This place is not bad food wise quick grab and go. My issue is they are never ready at time of opening. I come daily at opening or shortly after and most products are not available. Why open at 8am of most products are not available? I’m not sure if it’s poor leadership or just bad protocol but from an owner perspective how many lost sales is the business dealing simply because the product is not on the floor and ready for purchase. Honestly only reason I still come here is because it’s the only fast breakfast places in the area.

My sister and I visited during Thanksgiving week for a quick stop, and unfortunately it was a disappointing experience. We accidentally ordered a hot drink instead of an iced one and politely asked if it could be changed. We fully understood if the answer had been “no” or if there was an additional charge. Instead, we were met with unprofessional behavior from an older employee who appeared irritated from the start. She rolled her eyes, sighed, and spoke under her breath before reluctantly asking the barista about our request. The barista seemed annoyed as well but agreed to make the change. While we waited, the older employee announced an order number while staring directly at my sister. Within seconds, she raised her voice and snapped, “HELLO, isn’t this yours? Come get it,” in a confrontational tone—even though my sister’s drink was not ready, and another customer stepped forward to claim his two drinks. The hostility was completely unprovoked and unacceptable. We were going to just leave without our drink, when the barista came out with it in hand. Beyond the disrespectful interaction, the drinks themselves were below standard, though that is not the main reason for this review. This employee’s behavior was shockingly unprofessional, emotionally unstable, and inappropriate for a customer-facing role. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this location. On a positive note, the young cashier was exceptionally polite and friendly. His kindness stood out and was greatly appreciated

My husband picked up a cake and brought it yesterday. I tried to cut and serve and the cake was completely breaking in small tiny bits. When i tasted it was a very bad smell of egg and we had to trash the entire cake. Very bad experience
