Koko Chicken 92 is a small, family-run restaurant known for its Korean fried chicken. While some find the chicken decent, others consider it mediocre compared to other places. The staff is consistently described as friendly. The pre-made sauces are a point of contention.

Tip: The spicy chicken is very spicy, even the one marked with one chili pepper. Some customers suggest the classic sauces like garlic, soy, and spicy BBQ are the best.

Pretty good selection. Wish they had a sampler sauce offering. Lots of different flavors but they come in 5s 6s or 8s. Best were the classics: Garlic Soy and Hot BBQ. Pictured also are Curry Onion and Cheong Yang? Tasted like Honey Mustard. One of the pictures is a size comparison of Thigh Nugget to a regular Flat. Get the Thigh Nuggets, they're massive ♡
Went there with my friends to enjoy dinner and experience the restaurant for the first time— completely exceeded expectations! I’ve had my fair share of Korean-style fried chicken, but the variety and quality of the food here was particularly amazing. Looking forward to coming back!
We were dine in for seafood pancake and Cheongyang wings. Another day order Champong noodle for take out. Large portion good enough for two girls share one order of noodle. Foods taste good and will come back to try other type of noodle and soup.
Koko Chicken 92 is located on Oakland Park Blvd in the plaza that is across the street from the Aldi’s and Walgreens in Sunrise. It is a hole in the wall Korean Chicken restaurant that serves its specialty Korean Fried Chicken as well as traditional Korean meals. I came here last Monday night to have dinner with my dad. To say the least we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The tables and chairs are clean and the staff is very welcoming. I loved how the chairs are bright yellow and make you want to sit down and stay for a while. We ordered the “Kook Soon Dang” Rice Sake, Honey Garlic Chicken Tenders and Jochae stir fried potato noodles with beef. The food came out fast, hot and fresh. We also had a side of cut up radishes and fresh kimchi. One thing I will say about Koko Chicken 92 is that it is a great place if you are looking for a place that allows for you to eat great food and have a good time with the people you are with. You don’t feel rushed to hurry up and eat. You are able to sit down and be in the moment. I can’t wait to come back again to see what other delicious food they have to offer.
Great food! Amazing chicken and perfect service, everything I tired has a unique and homey feeling and taste! the owners are wonderful, it’s always so good to be back!! The drums are HUGE!! So be aware ☺️
First time going with family the guy was very friendly, great at explaining the menu and the different Korean drinks. He let us sample the lychee soju, it was a hit, bought more. Everything he recommended was good. I especially loved the soy ginger fried chicken! The fried rice tasted like home cooked. Overall great experience definitely recommend and will go again.
So yummy! The food came out super quick and super fresh. Everything we had was amazing, my favorite being the jajangmyeon! Can’t wait to come back and try more dishes!
New hidden gem! I couldn't believe it, but they have 18 different chicken flavors. All very delicious. The side dishes are home made, the Kimchi is very tasty. They have Korean corndog and Gimbap. The vegetable fried rice is so savory. Awesome price for such flavorful food and generous portions. The curry chicken and the honey lemon are a must to try. The customer service is great. Finally real and affordable, superb, Korean food in our area.
First time to try korean chicken but this was an awesome experience Highly recommend, nothing comes close with all honesty I was looking for a korean place after watching a youtube video placing fried chicken from korea as the number one worldwide. Now I know why. The place is super nice and the hospitality is out of this place, very authentic, family owned. You can tell from the first step walking in. Im usually very skeptical about new places or places with less number of reviews. First time to try one, and its not a over hype at all. Deserves 5 stars 🌟 Many korean items Halal chicken
This Korean restaurant offers a big variety in chicken flavors. I love that you can choose wings, tenders, drumsticks, and even thighs. Customer service is superb. The chicken is very fresh and mouthwatering. Truly delicious. Very affordable for the whole family. Enough space for big family gatherings. Highly recommend.
Absolutely amazing food and service!!! Place was clean and ready to go as soon as they opened! My 3 year old also loved the food and she’s a hard one to win over!!! Will definitely come back!
I discovered this place because I was searching for the old restaurant I used to go to in 441 in Hollywood but they permanently closed. According to the website they moved to this place. Surprisingly, they changed it to a Korean Fried Chicken place which made me more excited to try. The Yangnyeom fried chicken was really good. Not too spicy not salty. Perfectly seasoned. The owner was really friendly and attentive. Reminds me of a mom and pop restaurants in Korea. We were too hungry to take a photo of the food but we cleared out our plate.
Best Korean restaurant in South Florida. Authentic and delicious Korean food. Owners are attentive and sweet
Amazing food, amazing people, amazing place. I think we found our new favorite place. Thank you for such a great dinner and a great time!
You gotta get the honey garlic wings with fries they are so good. The fries are clean thin cut like mc Donald’s but way better and the salt isn’t cheap salt. Very good! The prices are pretty good
If you want authentic Korean food in SF, here is the place. Food is amazing and service is just the best. The restaurant is runned by a Korean family and they are super warming and take care of us everytime we come that it kinda feels like home 🥰 The place is well maintained and super clean also !

Great food terrific Korean friend chicken. Staff is extremely friendly. Will definitely be back
Not a lot of Korean fried chicken spots in the area, but this spot does it incredibly well.
Just as k pop is trendy, chicken is also surprisingly delicious. All seasoned chicken was delicious!👍👍👍
Friendly involvement. Felt welcoming. Food is amazing. This is a hidden gem.
Staff is extremely accomadating and respectful. Food is the big cheese, big fan of this place
There food and sodas here are really good I've spoke with people here and there very understanding
Excellent Korean chicken and also has halal certification on site.

Delicious Very good service
First time here, we were actually waiting for this spot to open. The atmosphere was great, love the colors of the restaurant. Lots of space comfortable seating. Now for the food, it was delicious. We selected something from each section of the menu. Also the chilled soju, was fire.
BEST CHICKEN IVE EVER HAD!!!! family of 5 with young kids. Ordered jajameyon, soy garlic chicken wings, cheese corndog, beef kimbop, seafood noodle soup, kimchi, and calamari it was all AMAZING. I drove 45 mins from Palm beach county and it was worth it 1000%.
The Original Fried Chicken is great, crispy and perfectly fried. I also had the Red Hot Pepper Chicken nice and spicy but packed with flavor and delicious The kimchi, cucumber kimchi, and pork dumplings I had made it a real meal and worth coming back for regularly. KoKoChicken 92 is fantastic
Really yummy wings and great flavors. Had the onion curry wings and seafood pancake, super delicious. The couple running the business are really friendly and sweet too
Small menu full of delicious food. We order 5 different chicken wings plates. We were unable to decide which one was better that the other one. Great flavors!
Friendly staff, great food, and amazing flavors! Definitely a hidden gem! Worth checking out and I keep going back to try new things and have been happy with each choice.
Had amazing wings here and a korean rice bowl with beef and other ingredients. It was tremendous! I highly recommend it!
We enjoyed it very much! Loved the atmosphere, food, and the above and beyond service. We can't wait to go back to try more of the menu.
Amazing food and friendly service. Definitely one of the best Korean restaurants I’ve been to based on the flavor and quality.
So yummy! The owners are very warming. The Korean food is super authentic and super tasty!
The best Korean fried chicken spot in SWFL hands down. Chicken is super seasoned and all the sauces are super delicious
Came for Mother’s Day had the place to ourselves.. the soy garlic wings were ridiculously good…had potstickers…a potato cor dog, and a bingsu for desert glad we found this gem
The food and flavor is delicious. Highly recommend the honey garlic wings and Bugolgi.
This place has amazing Korean Fried Chicken, and Chicken Tenders. I highly recommend #3 Cheong Yang. You won’t regret it!
Fantastic Korean Fried Chicken - huge pieces, I was told they use organic chickens. Anyway great food loved it
This has become a regular stop for me for lunch during the week. Great fried chicken with a lot of different flavors at a really good price.
Great halal chicken tenders and wings. I was impressed with the quality of the food and service. I'll be back.
We stumbled upon this place because most of the other halal locations were closed and this was a great spot. I have had Korean friend chicken before at other outlets and the tie breaker at this location was their chicken fried rice. We got honey garlic tenders, soy garlic chicken, cheese fries and chicken fried rice. The chicken drum sticks are humongous. The fried rice was absolutely perfect and has the perfect char that we look for in a wok cooked fried rice. We had to order it several times. The cheese fries was the only one that we didn’t like preferred to what we have had before at other outlets. According to them and their halal certification only the chicken is halal and it’s cooked separately from the rest of their menu.
Went a little out my way to get here my other spot was closed let’s start of with the rice which was just ok at the price point of $17 I expected way more but the chicken the real reason I was here was great the fry was crispy the sauce was going crazy you can’t go wrong with any flavor I would come back I would just have to skip the rice
My favorite Korean restaurant in the area. The atmosphere and the employees are absolutely wonderful. So far, I've had the scallion pancake, soy garlic chicken, and the golden cheese fries. All, absolutely delicious. Can't wait to try more of the menu.
The most awkward experience but the food is so good it hard carries this place. We had tune entire place to ourselves and I don't get it. They're one of if not the best Korean style joints around. Tonkotsu was awesome. And an actual clean bathroom. They didn't even have music on our TV on when we came early evening midweek. Felt rather awkward. But the food. The food is awesome. It averages out to 5 stars because the food should have like 10 stars.
The best Korean food in south Florida. Seriously. It’s not Korean BBQ. It’s the most flavorful, authentic Korean restaurant you could ever hope to visit. The kimchi is crisp and delicious, the fried chicken is insanely good! Served with a pickled radish I think. It was white cubes of deliciousness that has such a robust flavor it’s a meal on its own. The place is in the saddest strip mall in sunrise and the inside is nothing to rave about. I will say it is extremely clean and they have an 90 inch tv playing kpop at a tasteful volume which I really enjoyed. When you pay your bill they give you a 15% off coupon for your entire next bill! How awesome is that. Support your local family businesses. This one flys under the radar but is a real treasure.
Their food were tasty Korean food! We ordered the sweet spicy chicken, Yukgaejang, and Bibimbap! The service was great! Many Koreans eat here as well that means, their food is authentic. I will come back to try other dishes. This Korean restaurant will be added to my to-go to restaurants.
Didn’t realize this spot was 5 minutes from our house. What a treat to stumble upon it. Ordered soy garlic fried chicken, dolsot bibimbap with the k-sides, seafood pancake, and some Terra beer. Everything was so freshly made, we were treated so kindly by who I assumed was one of the owners, very attentive and great recommendations. Portions were big too, ate so much but still had to take some home, will definitely be returning. Extra points for K-pop playing on the TV!
Absolutely enjoyed my first time dining at this Korean Fried Chicken place. The gentleman in the front was very attentive, always checking up on me and my friend and thoroughly explaining which option is best for our preferences. The fried chicken came out perfectly just like how they do it in Korea. Definitely coming back here to try out their other food items on the menu!
Amazing Wings!!!! Juicy in the inside, crispy on the outside and the Spicy Garlic Sauce was really good. I ordered to-go and the takeout containers are very presentable. It was my first time here today and will DEFINITELY will be coming back.
Great vibes! My waiter Paul was the man; our order got mixed up with another tables and he fixed it right away and provided amazing customer service. He’s also hilarious! My family and I had an amazing time visiting this spot. 11/10 recommend!
Koko Chicken 92 is the bomb DOT com. As soon I walked in I was greeted by the owner who was very friendly and accommodating. He even offered to sit us somewhere else as he saw that we were cold where we were sitting previously. Would recommend to family and friends in the area!
Food preparation is good and pleasing to the eyes and taste buds. I had the Honey Lemon fried wings, which had a great flavor. The cold slaw was also good and the radishes and lemonade really hits the spot.
So, I haven’t had a good wing place in awhile and I don’t normally leave a review for places, typically because most places are ok. However after I placed my order and took my first bite into the wings I fell in love with the food! The presentation looks amazing, the taste, krispyness and customer service is amazing! My only gripe was just one thing that was solely that there was no fried rice but besides that honestly it was perfect! I wish I had taken pictures! And will for sure be coming back here!
The service is super nice and friendly! The food came out fast and was delicious. Will be coming again in the future, and recommending it to anyone who likes wings or Korean cuisine.
This is a hole in the wall Korean restaurant. The mom and pop shop seems to specialize in K(orean) F(ried) C(hicken). They have got the frying for KfC down! I tried the soy garlic wings and they were delicious. The chicken came with chicken-mu (pickled radish) which makes the food so much better, adding a great crunch! I will be going back to try the other dishes. Give this place a shot, the owners are genuine and know what they’re doing.
Casual Korean spot with authentic home cooked taste & generous portions. The Korean fried chicken is a must have. Everything we had was perfect— dolsot bibimbap, seafood pancake, banchan, kfried chicken, Terra beer. Super kind mom & pop place that will give you menu recommendations if you want them. We’ll be back :)
THIS PLACE IS SOOOO GOOOD 😍😍😍 this is the best Korean fried chicken you can get in South Florida!!!!!!!! Amazing quality & the service was incredible. They really care about their customers!!!! It is Korean owned buisness as well which is a plus!!!!!!! This is my family’s staple for when we want to treat ourselfs to delicious amazing fresh fried Korean chicken 😍😍😍 If you haven’t tried this place already, COME NOW!!!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️
Went for the first time to get dinner for pick-up. The wait time was not long at all and we had great service while we waited for the food. Everything was delicious and great quality. The prices are good for the amount of food you receive. We will definitely come back!

Koko Chicken 92 is a mom-and-pop shop. I tried their Korean fried chicken, and while it was decent overall, I found it to be pretty average compared to other spots I’ve tried. One thing I wish they’d do is make their sauces in-house instead of using premade, imported ones—it would really take their chicken to the next level. That said, the food was still enjoyable, and the cozy atmosphere make it worth a visit. If you’re in the mood for Korean fried chicken, I’d definitely recommend giving this place a try! With a little extra care to elevate the flavors, it could easily become a go-to spot.
The restaurant has a clean and simple look The chicken is awesome and fried rice too Definitely stop by this place if you want good Korean fried chicken
6/10 Spicy Garlic wings. A little bit tough in both meat and breading. Meat is a little undersalted. Sauce was just okay. Strong 6 to light 7 pickled daikon. Goes well with the wings but maybe too sweet if you eat on own?
The man serving us was super sweet. I wanted to give this place a shot but I feel like the chicken was subpar. I don’t recommend the thigh nuggets if you go. We got one spicy and one that wasn’t. The spicy is SPICY. Even the one with one 🌶️. The place smells not good, like dirty and like it needs a good cleaning. I really feel like they need to better the attention to detail. I wouldn’t go back.
An interesting experience. As I entered the restaurant I was immediately asked, "Can I help you?" from the man behind the counter. His gruff, irritated tone made me wonder whether he thought I was lost, or if I looked like I didn't belong there. I would've preferred a "Hi, welcome" greeting but whatever. I wasn't trying to make friends, just wanted some wings. But still... Ordered the lunch special, spicy garlic wings (5) with fries and a bottled water. I was never offered a glass for my water. When I asked for ketchup for my fries I was only given the two tiny packets in the picture, so I had to go up and ask for more. The wings were hot, crispy and tasted good, but lacked salt. So I then went back to the counter to ask for salt, as there weren't ANY condiments on the tables. After several minutes of waiting, I was finally given a small white bowl of salt (see picture). The extra salt definitely improved the flavor! But it sems weird to waste that much salt vs. just putting salt shakers on the tables. Unless they reused it afterwards...🤔😳 Anyhoo, I'll try the wings again, but only for take-out, as I don't think these folks are ready for dine-in customers.
I wish to inform my fellow Muslims that this establishment offers pork dishes alongside their halal-certified chicken. My concern is directed towards the certifying organizations that permit the use of the halal logo. This could lead non-Muslim customers to mistakenly believe that the entire menu, including pork items, is halal. I hope this concern is clear!
No volvería.
Never again. I threw away all the chicken
Knew this place won’t meet our expectations. Previous Korean restaurant at this location before they changed to this chicken place, did not seem successful either and closed way too soon. The guy behind the counter that seemed to be cooking the food, is the owner of a Korean restaurant that’s been going out of business in Hollywood. Will be very hard to be successful even moving to this new city and location with this type of customer service and quality of food. Going to continue with our Choongman Chicken in Davie.
The chicken is not Halal. Just called to make an order. The owner asked me if I do Halal. After answering, he said “I don’t know how to cook Halal, but the chicken is Halal. We fry it in the same oil and fryer used for pork. Is that fine?”
The guy is extremely rude. I came in to pick up my door dash order and it sent me to the wrong place and this guy was so hostile so rude instead of saying this is the wrong restaurant he went on and on very nasty as if he was annoyed I would've brought food there instead but too rude to fix any food for me
I had a disappointing experience at Koko Chicken 92. From the moment I started my order, the employee was rude and unhelpful. When I asked about the flavors, instead of kindly guiding me, they asked, “You don’t have the menu in front of you?” I explained I didn’t, but they seemed annoyed and rushed through the 10 flavors without a care, then immediately put me on hold. I went in really looking forward to trying their Korean fried chicken wings, but unfortunately, the honey garlic wings I ordered were just as underwhelming as the service. The sauce had some flavor, but the chicken itself was completely bland—not what I expect from Korean fried chicken. This was my first experience at Koko Chicken 92, and I DONT regret to say it might also be my last.
The customer service at Koko Chicken 92 is absolutely terrible. The employees were incredibly rude from the moment I tried to place my order. Instead of being helpful, they seemed irritated and dismissive, which left a bad impression right away. As for the food, it was bland and disappointing, especially considering the high prices. I expected much better quality for what I paid, but it fell far short. I won’t be returning to this place ever
***WARNING FOR THE HALAL CHICKEN*** I called up this place to ask about how they handle their halal marked chicken since they also have pork dishes on the menu and the older gentleman that I spoke to has said that they use the same space to cook all their meats, including the use of the same cutting board, knife etc. He’s also mentioned that he’s not a “halal chef” and that he doesn’t adhere to the rules of Halal cooking, which means there is major cross-contamination so please beware.
