It’s our family’s favorite Italian/steak house in Syracuse. We’ve dined here over 20 times and consistently good every time. Salad, meatball, Delmonico ribeye.. and desserts! We have so many memories at Delmonico and can’t wait to come back with grown kids soon.
Lasagna was very good. Calamari I'd recommend as well.
We had an early Father’s Day dinner tonight with our family. The food was delicious, the service was great and our waitress, Avva, was phenomenal! She made the dinner and experience perfect. Very professional, extremely knowledgeable about the menu, she offered great recommendations and answered all of our questions, and was by far one of the nicest and most patient waitresses we have ever had. My family has been in the restaurant business for over 30 years so believe me when i say this girl is a gem 💎! Thank you Avva! Delmonicos never disappoints with their service and food. ❤️❤️❤️
Charles was absolutely amazing! Delicious wine and food. Will definitely be back!
Had a wonderful time with family! Avva was the best waitress I've ever had with great recommendations including off menu items we ended up getting that were absolutely delicious. Without any prompting our appetizer was made free since it took a while to come out (we were in no rush!). Excellent service, excellent food.
When I take the family out for a dinner I don’t even try other places now, I go right to Delmonico’s. The service, food and atmosphere are the best of anywhere in the Syracuse area and the pricing is competitive and reasonable. And every visit is spot on, they never drop the ball. If you’re going out for steaks or Italian save yourself some disappointing trips at other places and just go to Delmonico’s. I have no affiliation or family ties to the place, I’m just a very satisfied customer.
I had an amazing meal at this cozy spot! The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the rich marinara sauce was bursting with flavor. The steak was also perfect, and the warm, welcoming vibe made it even better. A must-visit for anyone in Syracuse that wants a good steak or pasta. I will be back!
This place is iconic! We have been to Delmonico's in Rochester and loved it. So we knew we wouldn't be disappointed. There is so much history inside these walls. The staff is the best and the food is absolutely amazing. My wife had the Sliced Sirloin Steak and loved it. I had the 24oz. Delmonico with Lobster tail. Let me tell you, it is the best steak I have ever had and the lobster tail was huge and so tender. I could only eat about a third of the meal. The pic is what I took home. If you don't go to Delmonico's, you are missing "The Good Life".
Been told to go here many times over the years. Finally went for a good friend's birthday and WOW. The steak was one of the best I've head. Especially for Upstate NY. I grew up outside of Chicago where there were more plentiful restaurant options. Anyway, highly recommend.
This restaurant is top notch in Syracuse, NY. If you want a nice atmosphere and great food, this is your spot.
Our dinner last night was absolutely delicious. The chicken riggies were the best I’ve had in the area. We also tried the Utica greens, wedge salad and marsala filet with angel hair which are definitely a must as well. We asked for a few changes to the dishes and everything was accommodated and got the tiramisu to go- which was just as good. Thanks again for a great evening and date night out.
Outstanding great food steak was right on the money cooked to perfection As arnold Schwarzenegger would say " ILL BE BACK "
This place knocks it out of the park every time we go. We always have a large party and we're always taken care of. Food is delicious, reasonably priced, and huge portions. They handle our large party with my mom who is in a wheelchair very well, highly recommend them if you need accommodations.
Beautiful with amazing caricatures all over the walls. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, the food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were perfectly kind and attentive.
The consistency of this restaurant is impeccable. Every time I've ordered an entree it has been delicious. The service is outstanding. On this visit we ordered calamari and crab cake as an appetizer. Both were delicious. We had two special's of the night one was a filet mignon with over fettuccine alfredo and the other was steak in a wine sauce serve with garlic mashed potatoes. Both of these entrees where outstanding. We also ordered the chicken Sinatra which is an old favorite and never disappoints. Overall every experience we've had here has been great. Highly recommend this restaurant.
I can’t say enough about the food. We were a party of 6, everyone had something different and it was ALL excellent! We were in the “Tony Bennett” room - just perfect.
My fiancée and I went here for dinner. The moment we entered we were quite impressed. The atmosphere felt extremely classy and romantic and was enough by itself to warrant a positive review. However, they went on to satiate us further with some of the most absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared appetizers we have ever eaten. We were absolutely blown away by the mini Italian meatballs. The entrees were also out of this world, though I did end up wishing that I didn't select the Filet Mignon. My fiancée ordered the fettuccini Delmonico which featured some of the best house-made Alfredo we've ever tasted. We decided to indulge a bit and still didn't go over $100, though we chose not to dabble in their extensive wine list. The portion sizes were substantial, and overall, it was an amazing dining experience.
So I just found out about this place and have been coming to Syracuse for work for sometime. I wish I had know about it before. Everything including the staff was top notch. The food was fast, delicious and hot. The staff attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. I went for steak and ended up having Clam Chowder and Veal Parmesan. I did not regret it. I am however going back tomorrow for steak!
I went to Delmonico’s with my cousin last night to celebrate her birthday. Our server was very pleasant, taking our order quickly. She checked on us a lot to make sure everything was good. Took away used dishes promptly. The food was delicious!!! At dessert time, staff came to sing a happy birthday song to my cousin. I give five stars on everything. Will come back again. I wish the menu had included crab cakes because they would have been ordered.
Great Food, other then not having half of their desert menu in stock, it was an awesome time, great staff and a great steak Update for 2022: Back again for the 2022 NYS Association of Fire Chiefs Convention and made sure to make a reservation for our group as soon as we arrived in Syracuse. Great food and great experience once again. Portions are huge and everything was delicious. Delmonico Steak with an added Lobster Tail has been my entree of choice
So I'm from Boston and everytime I'm up here in upstate NY, whether it be Syracuse, Rochester, or Albany, we will 100% of the time go to a Delmonico's for dinner. The service and atmosphere is exceptional and the decor is amazing. From the playing cards on the ceiling to the murals over the walls, it is a one of a kind experience. The food itself is very good. I've probably dined here more than a dozen times within the past year and each time the steak is cooked to my liking and the pasta is always cooked al dente, which is the only way in my opinion it should be cooked. The namesake steak I and my friends and coworkers always get is the Delmonico's best deal in town steak. Where else will you get a 24oz aged ribeye for 29.99? No where! Only at Delmonico's can you get such a great deal. The rare days where I don't feel like getting steak, I tried the Chicken Sinatra. I thought it was quite good, only thing is the chicken was slightly well done for my liking but the flavor is on point. Not to mention the portions are hugeee! Overall I always have a good time at Delmonicos and will be a customer for life. Everytime I leave satisfied and full which is all you can ask forI just wish they had locations near Boston.
Delmonico's is always a good time. The food is always high quality. They will adjust entrees if possible. The service is always excellent. Lastly the atmosphere is classic. I love the availability of the small side rooms is you have a small party.
Just stopped in a nice place to eat after landing at the airport at 5:30pm. We couldn’t have had a better experience. Number one, they can accommodate allergies! I have been here a hand full of times and it’s always a good experience. McKenna was our server tonight and she did a wonderful job! Definitely the most attentive service I’ve ever had here! Super glad she was our server tonight. Also, the food was super yummy. My boyfriend loved his chicken marsala and of course I had to have the Delmonico steak. It was phenomenal as usual. Cooked to perfection. Oh and great drinks too! Of course I’ll go back.
We stopped here for dinner while on a business trip and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The atmosphere was dated...but intentionally so, as we were in the Frank Sinatra room and we're surrounded by numerous memorabilia from that era. After appetizers, I ordered the Chicken Riggies (see picture) since it was suggested as a unique dish for the area and found it delicious. I ordered extra spiciness and thought the spice level was perfect. Somehow, it is a perfect balance of flavor and creaminess without being heavy and overpowering. For dessert, we shared several plates at the table, but the Tiramisu and Pumpkin Cannoli (see pictures) were my favorites. You won't be disappointed with a stop here...I highly recommend it! Fantastic meal! Our server was absolutely outstanding. I'd like to go there 5 days a week. You can't go wrong
If you're in the mood for steak or Italian, this is the place to go. Reliably good food. The service is always good and it's nicer than a fast casual restaurant. They normally have a filet medallions special, which is always a great buy. Reservations are recommended for immediate seating.
We've been here before, but I thought I would do another review. I decided to mix it up a little tonight. Typically I'd get the Delmonico (a huge porterhouse), but I opted for the portabello filet, and I asked for the sauce on the side. Our waitress, Payton, passed that along, and it came in a separate dish. It was delicious! O like having it on the side because it allowed me to dip the steak in it instead of being smothered. The steak was cooked perfectly. Lisa got the chicken Sinatra, and she said it could have used more flavor. That comes on a bed of Utica greens, and she thought they'd be hotter. She also had to add salt to the potatoes. My side of garlic/butter angel hair was also delicious. Lisa can not say enough about their Cesar salad. The dressing is phenomenal, and they used exalt the right amount. No part was dry, but there wasn't a pool of it on the plate after she finished. Highly recommend. We got an appetizer - mini meatballs (12) with sauce and cheese and 2 italian hot peppers. Be advised - the peppers are indeed hot! They are stuffed with sausage and some other stuff. They brought out warm bread with a generous dollop of garlic butter. Delicious! Oh, and they have Pepsi, so you know I was all over that. Lisa stuck with ice water. Dinner for two, one appetizer and one soft drink came to 82 bucks. You should tip the waitresses well so they can afford to go buy the rest of their skirts. The dress code seems to be mini skirts with patterned fishnet stockings. Oh, and they do a birthday song, complete with clappers.
Made a reservation, seated quickly, food was amazing. Loved everything about it. Everyone loved their food and we all had a TON of leftovers to take home. Highly recommend!
Olive Garden could never. This place was packed, so you know that the food must be good with a parking lot filled with cars. The bread was warm and the butter spread was whipped to perfection. It spread with ease. It was like eating garlic bread, with every single spread of that butter on top was delicious. This had to be the best Caesar salad I’ve ever had. The croutons and the dressing taste like it was made in house. The croutons were perfectly seasoned, which gave the entire salad a very good taste. This lasagna was a pound, and was big enough to feed at least three people. I came hungry I left stuffed. Great food And even better staff. What more could you ask for.
A consistently great meal every single time. Great family atmosphere where they treat your like royalty. Get the Delmonico's Delmonico a 24 hour aged ribeye that will always have you leaving happy full with leftovers for steak and eggs in the morning. If your looking for a fun, high quality meal with excellent old school service .....eat here! Ross said so.
Reservations full, but we walked in and were seated immediately. Fresh bread and garlic spread very tasty. Garlic cheese bread delicious. Spaghetti and meatballs- son said even better than Pastabilities. The meatballs were enormous, like the size of softballs. Filet perfectly cooked. Wedge salad, excellent, with bacon on blue cheese and a little balsamic drizzle. Amaretto cheesecake with raspberry graze, so, so delicious. Strawberries, fresh and flavorful with Zabionion cream. I know I spelled it wrong, but it was outstanding. Great food! Great service! Will definitely return!
Delmonico's has somehow eluded me for all the years I've lived in the county. A wrong has now been righted and we can all breathe easy again. Delmonico's is great! Had a really nice experience with an easily made reservation through Open Table and a wonderful service. The staff were kind and welcoming and our waiter was wonderful. He greeted us with great energy and had answers for all of our questions, especially me as a first timer. The vibe of the place is Old New York, Diet Mafia and Sopranos the comedy. And it's simply fun. Most importantly the food, it was wonderful! The complementary bread and butter, very nice. Caesar salad, solid. The Delmonico, delicious! Filet Mignon, delicious! The cooks on each of them were truly perfect as well. The Delmonico was medium rare, Filet was medium and they were the most accurate cooks I may have ever seen in a restaurant. Nailed it! There was a small side of pasta with the Delmonico and that was incredible, I'm going all in on some pasta next time. We got 2 desserts, both very enjoyable but the Italian Cheesecake with Raspberry sauce took the day, highly recommend if you enjoy a smooth cheesecake and raspberry flavoring. Loved everything and I'm already looking forward to going back for more. Enjoy!
Never had a bad meal here. It's not cheap or expensive, the prices are fair and the portions are great. The staff is very friendly, the food is always good and if anyone in my party ever had an issue with their food (i.e. under/overcooked steak) it's always taken care of. It's a solid dinner spot.
Love Delmonico's! We always have a great time. I love the filet marsala with angel hair. Skip the fried mozzarella appetizer 😅 The antipasto is out of this world. Standard drink menu. Best bread and homemade butter 💛🥖🧈 Friendly service each time. A regular stop for us for all occasions.
Delmonico’s Steakhouse, Syracuse, NY While there’s no official mocktail menu at Delmonico’s, the bartender didn’t let that stop them. I ended up with a fizzy blend of grapefruit, peach purée, and orange juice, bright, effervescent, and far more thoughtful than the usual off-menu attempt. A pleasant surprise, especially in a place where the drinks lean heavily toward the classics. The shrimp cocktail arrived looking textbook, plump, chilled shrimp over a bit of lettuce, but it’s the cocktail sauce that really steals the show. Zesty, tangy, with just enough horseradish heat to catch your attention. Honestly, if they bottled it, I’d be walking out with a case. It brought back the nostalgic zing of my favorite coastal seafood shack’s signature blend. Then came the small ciabatta loaf with a generous side of herbed butter. Simple? Yes. But undeniably comforting. It’s the kind of bread service that sets a tone, warm, soft, and clearly made with care. Now, let’s talk about the heavyweight, the one-pound lasagna. A towering stack of pasta, ricotta, beef, and sausage smothered in a marinara that could hold its own against any red-sauce joint. Rich without being overwhelming, and seasoned to that just-right sweet spot between hearty and refined. Finally, a shoutout to Mari, my server, gracious, attentive, and the kind of presence that elevates a meal from good to memorable. If you find yourself at Delmonico’s, ask for her. You’ll be in good hands.
Mariana made some of the best limoncello martinis I ever had ( I am a bartender and server ) and she moved around her bar like she owned it and did 🫶🏽 Once we were seated Natasha took great care of us ( along with several other tables ) all food came out fresh hot and delish !!! Haven’t been to delmonico’s in years but on my go to list now.
We had a great time here, party of ten. Table was ready for us at your scheduled time. Great service by Renee. Food was perfect. Two got the Delmonico Steak. Three the filet. And got lasagne. Not something you'd typically order from a steak house? Think again, these were huge portions of (7 layers??) and probably the best we've tried. Maybe a bit pricey? No, not for the superb service and food.
My wife and I went to Delmonico's to celebrate an occasion and we enjoyed everything about it. We had reservations ahead of time so our table was waiting for us when we got there. The server was prompt to take our drink order followed by our dinner order. She was pleasant and skilled at what she does. I ordered the 24 oz. house ribeye (Delmonico's steak) with penne on the side and a baked potato. My wife ordered the marsala steak which came with two small cuts of meat smothered in Marsala gravy and angel hair pasta on the side with a glass of red wine. She also ordered a bowl of their chicken and meat ball soup (I forgot the official name from the menu) to try something new. Everything was amazing. The steaks were cooked to order and seared perfectly. The soup was also really good and hearty. The pasta side dishes were good, even though my ribeye came out with angel hair pasta instead of penne with red sauce as shown on the menu. It was still good though and I didn't mind. And the potato may have been a little over cooked (starchy) but it was still good. The atmosphere was nice; maybe a little loud as we were seated next to a large party celebrating a birthday but it wasnt bad. We still enjoyed our experience and would come again. Thanks, Delmonico's and staff!
I travel across the US installing and set up equipment. This is one of the best places to eat in the country period. The service was great , the steak was awesome, and the inside was very well done. Great place 100%. You need to go here at least once in your life. Second trip 2 months later wow it was good
My first time! Excellent food and service! Our zupa stracciatella didn't have the ditalini in it, but our server brought me out another hot bowl of it right away. The bread and butter were delicious, my 9oz filet was perfect and my friend's lobster tail and risotto were excellent. We ordered the spumoni for dessert and the fresh berries with zabaglione. The spumoni was awesome, but the zabaglione just didn't taste right. They took it off our bill and the manager gave us a beautiful cannoli to go. A few minor hiccups but still 5 stars, our server Jackie was amazing! And the trainee Brianna too!
Delmonico Steak... The steak was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. I will say that at least a quarter of it, if not more, was fat. The sauteed mushrooms were excellent and just the right amount. These perfectly pair with the steak. The fettuccine Alfredo was a nice light Aldante and creamy. The shrimp was very good. However, I would have liked more than just three, especially for the price. The bread is a nice crisp outside, while soft inside, and the whipped garlic herb butter is delightful. Curbside service is a big bonus when getting a takeout.
This place is a Syracuse legend and I know why! It’s excellent Italian food with great service and a fun atmosphere. My pasta faguli ( sp) was excellent as was the calamari appetizer ( breaded perfectly and not too chewy). My tomato and mozzarella salad was excellent. Everyone loved their main entree. I was surprised by how much sausage I got in my macaroni and Italian sausage. Our waitress Mari was excellent. As someone who grew up eating Italian food almost every night I say “If you haven’t been… GO! No… I mean it…GO!!”
What a romantic place to dine. We always reserve 15-20 minutes prior to arriving and we never had to wait in line. I don’t know where to start with their menu because we’ve tried almost all of it and not once we were disappointed. I highly recommend this place for pasta lovers, and to those who are not, they have much to offer. Who knows, they may turn you into one.

Great food, great service and atmosphhere but my scooter got stolen behind the building. Would be great if they would add cameras to the back as staff even told me there has been other incidents…
Generally truly excellent fare except for an utterly unpalatable "choice sirloin" served to me; the ravioli that replaced it were outstanding. Great, conscientious service with insanely overpriced drinks... Frankly, my overall experience at this restaurant left me less than impressed, the exception being the world class service. But their sirloin steak, despite being generally superior, could not match their claims of "choice or better" today.
I don't know why we didn't visit this restaurant sooner, but we're happy we ate here tonight. We started by sharing and antipasto salad for two. The ingredients were first rate and the balsamic vinaigrette was delicious. We ate it with some of the complimentary bread and whipped butter. I ordered the 6-oz filet medallions with marsala sauce. It came with angel hair pasta. The steak was cooked as ordered and had a nice char and flavorful seasoning. However, I found the marsala sauce bland and asked for some marinara sauce for the pasta. That was delicious. My wife ordered the flame grilled chicken with a side of sauteed mushrooms. She also enjoyed her meal. The biggest surprise was the desert. We ordered the spumoni tartufo and two spoons. It was outstanding, and definitely large enough to share. It consisted of a ball of chocolate, pistachio, and cherry ice cream surrounded by a hard shell of chocolate, cut into four sections and surrounded by whipped cream, and raspberry and chocolate sauces. It was a wonderful way to end a terrific meal. Our server did an excellent job and the manager stopped by our table to ask how we had enjoyed our meals. Overall, the quality of the food here is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. Will be back soon. UPDATE-1: Returned for another excellent meal. I ordered the 9 oz fillet with a side of pasta and some extra marinara sauce. As I found my first time here, the marinara sauce is excellent. The steak was so tender it almost dissolved in your mouth. And it was cooked medium well as ordered, a good amount of pink but no red. My wife told the manager that the meatballs she had ordered were the best she'd had in a very long time, and the side of a plate-size hunk of broccoli was cooked perfectly. Again we shared and enjoyed the spumoni tartufo for dessert. UPDATE-2: perhaps our third experience at this restaurant suffered from the fact that they were very busy on a New Year's Eve. The service was still excellent, but the food suffered. Our antipasto salad for 2 was mostly lettuce and was missing the promised sliced egg and artichoke. I ordered shrimp scampi with a request for extra garlic. It's possible the order was misinterpreted in the kitchen as a request for less garlic because I could barely detect it. The pasta, shrimp, and spinach were generous and perfectly cooked, but the sauce was a tasteless oil. I ate the shrimp and took the pasta home where I rinsed it in hot water and served it with marinara sauce. I've reduced my rating of the restaurant from 5 to 4 stars. UPDATE-3: Our fifth visit was to celebrate New Year's Eve. Even though they were packed by 5 p.m., we had a reservation and were seated immediately. I very much enjoyed my meal of filet with a side of angel hair pasta with extra marinara sauce, but my wife was disappointed in her chicken marsala. When the waitress noticed that she hadn't eaten the dish, she checked with the manager and he kindly deducted the cost from our bill. We shared a spumoni tartufo for dessert and it was excellent as always.

Stopped in for dinner on Easter. Taylor was a good waitress- very enthusiastic. The antipasti salad was tasty, but for the price I would have liked lettuce other than iceberg. Entrees were good.

We made reservations, didn't have to wait as we arrived on time. The steak was cooked to perfection as always, however the salmon was a little dry with a fishy smell. Service was spot on as always and the price was reasonable for such a nice establishment.
I’ve been to Delmonico Restaurant a couple times in the past and it was amazing from the service to the food. But, this time I was very disappointed with the meal. The service was great once again, I ordered the Delmonico steak dinner of which was flavorless and about 45-50% fat. I don’t know what’s happened but I don’t think I’ll be returning
I was surprised how full the restaurant was on Tuesday at 630pm. The parking, which is in the back is shared by other businesses. We were greeted immediately by a maitre d that was dressed in an interesting outfit, reminiscent of another time. All wait staff are dressed in all black. The interior has a lot of charm and ambiance. There are booths and tables to accommodate different sizes groups. The bar looked really nice but wasn't able to get a good view of it. Our server Mike was very nice. We were sitting down for not more than a minute before he was there. Drinks came quickly. My sparkling water was to be expected. My bride ordered a Pomegranate Martini, it was a let down. The Pomegranate tasted like the bottom of a concentrated sugary mix of the fruit. Mike was gracious to exchange it for a glass of Merlot, which was good. Bread was served after we ordered. The garlic butter was good but the bread was subpar. Our entrees came in a timely manner. Shrimp scampi was brought for my wife. It was a very nice portion. At least 10 nice sized shrimp. It was a bit oily but was good overall. I ordered the Filet Mignon, a baked potato and broccoli. The broccoli was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The baked potato was huge and dwarfed the meat. The potato was a little over done but was good overall. The Filet was seasoned and cooked to perfection. We did not stay for coffee or desert as we had other plans. I want to come here again because I know they can do better and I'll change my rating. Thanks for reading.
One bartender is incredibly welcoming and kind. The other is really cold. Like we’re bothering her by ordering a drink. Really weird dynamic. If she was the regular bartender, we’d never go back. Who wants to deal with cold hostility when visiting an establishment. There’s other places to go and grab a drink.
All was good but I cant believe for a family restaurant you have your waitresses dress like that not appropriate for family with children .
Delmonico's Syracuse is a charming Italian restaurant that offers a wonderful blend of classic Italian flavors with a modern touch. The menu is full of rich, hearty dishes, from perfectly cooked pastas to deliciously tender meats. Each dish is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, ensuring that every bite is bursting with flavor. The ambiance is elegant yet cozy, with warm lighting and a welcoming atmosphere that makes it a perfect spot for both intimate dinners and special occasions.
This was my first time trying this steakhouse, my sister had a Birthday dinner which was about 9 people. They can definitely handle large parties at this location. As we was seated we saw other large parties so it seems normal for people to have large parties here. The food was average, I had the chicken riggies. The pasta and the sauce was really good but the chicken was very dry. I was told the chicken was grilled which is probably why it was dry. I feel how ever you choose to cook your chicken make sure it’s not dry. I only had one bite of the chicken and gave the rest away to my sister to take home. My sister had steak which was really tender. The steak was really good but I just didn’t like the gravy, my sister agreed she didn’t really like the gravy either but the steak was really good. Someone else at the table had the fried calamari which I was able to try and I enjoyed that. We had the fritas mozzarella things as an appetizer and they weren’t the best. Mozzarella sticks are one of my favorite things to eat so I was shocked I didn’t enjoy those. Maybe some adjustments to a few things would make the food experience better. I would not chose to go back here on my on but if I had to go to another party at this place I would. I would try to order something different to see if I just prefer a different dish then what I chose before. I still had fun spending time with family atmosphere was cool and it wasn’t too loud.
I went here twice while visiting out of state. First night I ordered clam chowder and salmon which was dry and didn’t have much flavor. Clam chowder was pretty good. Second night I ordered Veal Marsala and some tomato based vegetable soup. Veal Marsala was terrible. The sauce was clear with no flavor and veal was like rubber. I did not eat it. I ended up getting tiramisu to cover up the bad taste in my mouth. Overall nice atmosphere but food was not good considering the cost. Maybe pasta dishes would be better. I also posted pics of what my friend ordered: clams in pasta; they seem to like it.

Service was good. No wait. steaks were a bit greasy. Not really impressed with the food. Tables and decor a bit run down. Overpriced. Had a better experience for the price at other restaurants.

Food prices are on the high side but bar prices are ridiculous for this area. $17.90 +tax for a Tito's martini!!!!
I have been here twice now with a group of friends and we all have been highly disappointed with the food both visits. Under seasoned steaks, over cooked chicken, and Marsala sauce that was lacking flavor. The list could go on. The service is about the best thing here. It has been really good both visits, I just wish the food followed suit. I would not recommend eating here and my friends and I will not be back.
Ordered a Delmonico steak, supposedly grain fed. It was the worst tasting steak I've ever ordered out. Tasted like grass fed beef. Too bad I can't get a good Delmonico steak at Delmonico's.
Went for a friends birthday, we were a group of 9, had a nice private table, which was really great. However the food was absolutely terrible, I got the salmon which had blue cheese on top of risotto....it wasnt good, wouldn't recommend. My friend had the lasagna, which she couldn't eat at all, because it was awful!!! However our other friend seems to enjoy his steak. The service was plain, our waitress seems to have worked there for years, and was just tired of her shift, as if she just couldn't wait to go home. I just didnt enjoy this experience, especially for the price we paid. Unfortunately, will not be going there again

Made a reservation for 7pm. Didn’t get seated until 8pm. What’s the point of having/making a reservation. Waitress was nice. Food was ok, way overpriced.
Went tonight with our 3 kids and made a 6:15 reservation. 6:50 they still hadn't sat us. Our kids are excellent in restaurants but part of that is because we know their limits. They still weren't close to seating us, so we left. I understand waiting for a few minutes past the reservation, but 35+ is excessive. No one ever approached us to address it either, which would've gone a long way.
Reservations are meaningless unless you are prepared to wait over an hour after your original spot. We were given no timeline and told to stand and wait until a table became available (spoiler alert) one didn’t after over an hour of waiting. Used to love Delmonico's but every time we have gone recently there has been a massive wait even with a reservation. Don’t give them your business
They take reservations, but don’t honor them (we arrived for our 7pm reservation at 7pm exactly and still had to wait 20 minutes to be seated). The waitress was bugging out and couldn’t make eye contact for some reason while taking our order. Food was OK, but my steak was unevenly cooked and the marsala sauce was really thin and flavorless (got the filet marsala). Best of all, we got rung up for the wrong ticket so we were charged double until we pointed it out. I don’t know how this place maintains such good reviews. It is a mediocre restaurant with a pretty sign and ballroom.
We were waiting for our reservation for an hour. We went up and asked twice about our spot in line. The first time they said we were next and that the table has been seated for an hour. Then the next time we asked, they said there are 5 tables in front of us. I understand places get busy and you can’t control how long tables take, but out right lying about it is unacceptable. Tell the truth and don’t have people waiting an hour so you can take their money at the bar.
