Church's Texas Chicken

Looks like their chicken is shrinking in size, like the other chicken places. It was still a good size not long ago.

I come here because it's good and near my apartment, but I'm always missing something from my order

After a bad experience at another place my husband and I were very happy with our experience. Greeted promptly. Food and service fast and food was for the most part very good biscuits not great but chicken delicious we will be back.

I went so me and my son could try the chicken sandwich they have advertised saying its better than popeyes chicken sandwich... Ill say this the service at this churches location was 100x better than the popeyes down the road . but not the sandwich.. in my taste its not better than popeyes. But i rather get good service so ill definitely be coming back and the food is good as well. Foods served fast fresh and with a smile.

Chicken, delicious!!. The employees cooking Chicken have a very good system in place. I had a cashier that did not know the menu prices. It took 5 minutes to get the order right. Employee had a cellphone in the food prep/ cooking area. It took over 19 minutes to get my meal. Chicken, delicious!!

They get 3 stars because they discontinued the fried butterfly shrimp & they eliminated the honey packet for the biscuits & the icing for the apple pies. These are the things that separated this establishment from KFC. Now what's the difference besides the name? I still come here because the employees are joyful.

I stopped by to pick up an online order I placed at 12:40 PM and arrived promptly at 1:00 PM. There were two women working inside, and notably, there were no other customers—neither inside nor outside the store. As everything seemed calm and not busy, we politely asked a simple question: whether it’s more convenient for them when customers order online or through the drive-through. To our surprise, the younger woman responded with an abrupt and dismissive, “I’m on a time clock,” and did so with clear attitude and zero professionalism. It wasn’t just what she said—it was how she said it, as though we were an inconvenience for even speaking to her. There was absolutely no one else there, so her reaction was completely uncalled for. Customer service is about more than handing over an order. It’s about treating people with basic respect and courtesy, especially when they’re being polite. This interaction left a bad taste in my mouth—not because of the food, but because of how we were made to feel like a burden for asking a reasonable question. Disappointing experience. I hope management addresses the tone and attitude of their staff, because this isn’t the kind of service that earns return customers.

I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and this is what I was given. A burnt thin piece of mostly breading that's very chewy and flavorless! Good thing I used my receipt to take the survey and got a free piece of chicken but this is unacceptable! Also next time someone says thank you it wouldn't hurt to reply instead saying nothing. They seemed annoyed that I used my survey to get the free chicken thigh. I don't know why I couldn't get a better piece of chicken on my sandwich this isn't even edible I'm throwing it in the trash! I won't order this again and I should change my survey answers.

HORRIBLE! The floor and workers are unclean. My order was given away and the so- called manager couldn’t even process a refund. I was charged twice for an order that I never received. There wil be a further report to a few governing agencies. How is it that you are a chicken restaurant- specializing in chicken, but you are out of chicken. Incompetent is all I can say.

My man and I went through the drive through at 9:50pm while the open sign was still lit and business hours go til 10:30pm we drove up and it was closed. We look through the building and the workers were cleaning. For a first time experience I was very disappointed, so we are going to Popeyes instead!

I drove thru the drive thru and ordered as usual. All seemed to be well until I decided to back into a parking space and take a bite of food. It appears that the drive thru associate moved away from the drive thru, came outside, placed her headphones (drive thru) around her neck and purchased a puppy (all while on the clock) !! I observed this employee rubbing and holding a black puppy with her “Churchs Chicken “ shirt on , soon after walking away with the pup cradled in her chest area . It baffles me how some people do not take food , customer service or customers serious at all. This is considered very unprofessional and sanitary. Also the other picture displays another employee (the cook ?) with her apron on looking inside the vehicle at the puppy that was placed inside the car as the employee ran in and out concerning the puppy . Please was your hands , your shirt and change your nasty apron !! These two were going in and out of the door and handling a freakin animal. Won’t be back here again!!!

I was advised my apple pies were fresh and cooked to order, they had black grill or grease things on them and were not fresh and biscuit was hard.
