There is a shopping center that miraculously is primarily vegetarian in nature. The honest Indian vegetarian restaurant is surrounded by other places that also serve a wide variety of vegetarian foods and a gigantic Indian supermarket to the left that is probably the most well-stocked and largest in the area. Food at the honest Indian vegetarian restaurant is particularly large when the plates come out it looks like they're feeling giants but rest assured they're bringing it out for you authentic, fantastic, flavorful, and perfectly presented in great giant plates plenty of space to eat, plenty of parking outside, and a pleasant atmosphere of traditional Indian music in the sound system.
Finally found real Indian taste in the USA! 😍 Visited HONEST restaurant in Florida and after 25 days, this is the first meal that was truly mouth-watering and satisfying. Nothing beats authentic Indian food! 🇮🇳✨
A great delight and it did not disappoint whatsoever. I had the Pani Puri, Malai Kofta, and a delicious Mango Lassi. Great service and very nice clean atmosphere.
Great food and genuine taste of home! I love coming back here ans trying different things on the menu! Definitely love the pav bhaji and chole bhature and indo chinese offerings. Good pani puri too. They have their own collection of ice cream (we tried mango which was meh and kesar pista which was great). They also have the vadilal cassata ice cream! The place is clean and service is super quick too.
We have been to Honest Restaurant quite a few times now and tried variety of food options. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality. The food is delicious! Vada pav, Schezwan fried rice, katappa sandwich and their thali are some of our most favorite items. They also have some amazing vegetarian curries and naan. You will find variety in the menu, staff is friendly and service is great. Highly recommended if you crave for Mumbai style veg food.
Some of the best Indian food I’ve had in a while! The flavors of their food and their customer service were top tier. Everyone was super welcoming and helpful during the order process and the food came out really fast. Would def recommend and come again!!
Food quality is consistently excellent! And love that there’s a vegetarian-only restaurant near USF.
Absolutely fantastic experience! The flavors at Honest Indian restaurant were incredible — fresh, authentic, and perfectly spiced. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was clean and inviting. Every dish we tried was a hit, especially the dosas and lassis. Our favorite dish is the Paneer Chili Dry! Highly recommend for anyone craving delicious, flavorful Indian cuisine!
Here is our “Honest “ review of this newly opened vegetarian restaurant! Everything is delicious! We are here for the second time in a week, ordered both south and North Indian dishes. The vada and sambar tasted exactly how it is in restaurants in India. Never seen a friendly staff like this before. Looking forward to come back even though we don’t live here. Thank you for opening a vegetarian ONLY restaurant!!!! I would give more than 5 stars if I can.
New place with great taste. Lovely staff Update: Lively place to have chat items and grill sandwiches. Every item on the menu is a must try. Should be careful while ordering cheesy dishes - All dishes will have cheese rain 🤩🤩🤩🤩 Also, Spice levels are customized based on our request.
Whooohooo! Great food makes for a great review! The food was absolutely amazing! We started with pav bhaji, crispy samosas, and mouthwatering samosa chaat. The paneer and cauliflower manchurian were a fantastic beginning, and the chilli garlic naan paired with malai kofta and paneer masala was so flavorful! We also tried the kattappa sandwich, channa bature, and vada pav—each dish bursting with its own unique taste. If you’re not a fan of nuts in your bhaji, definitely stick with the classic pav bhaji.Even if you’re just looking for a snack spot, this will be a perfect place! The ambience was fantastic, and the service made the experience even better. What a feast! Wishing them the best of luck in serving this area for many years to come!

Absolutely a must ! It’s in a lowkey spot but so accessible at the same time. I came in and immediately was greeting with a warm smile and was helped out with my vegan dietary restrictions. Not only was the food flavorful and delicious but was made to order so everything was hot and fresh. I received a complimentary sumosa when I was leaving and thought that was very sweet of them. Quality products and service will deff be back again soon! Please check it out and keep the small businesses thriving !
Very clean and nice restaurant. We ordered honest thali and it was delicious. The portions are decent, and the place is clean and family-friendly. Highly recommend if you want to explore dishes beyond the usual curries

Absolutely loved my experience at Honest Vegetarian Indian Restaurant! The food was fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic just like you'd find in India. You can really taste the quality in every bite. A special thank you to Mitesh bhai, the owner, for his warm hospitality. He makes you feel right at home. The staff was super friendly and attentive, which made the whole visit even more enjoyable. If you're looking for delicious, pure vegetarian Indian food, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend and definitely coming back soon!
1)Thali-good-$16.99(sufficient food just less sabzi), 2)Pav Bhaji-$12.99-ok(we asked for mild, it had no taste, probably the regular bhaji is very tasty as the other reviewers mentioned).
First time here under the new ownership. Pretty disappointed. Food was subpar and service was as well. Its a big space to full and looks plain, almost like a mall food court. We ordered vegetable utthapum and masala dosa. The utthapum was very different than others ive had. The vegetables were not cooked within, but rather sprinkled on top. The sambar was pretty bad. Too much tomato, not enough vegetables. My mom said she won't go back.

Service was very slow and only 1 person working for 10 tables, and none of the other tables were cleaned. Thaali was good, Hakka style food need little work. Little more attention and staff may help as the only person can do so much. I would recommend eating at this location again but be prepared to wait.
Staff is friendly. The food is was very uncomfortable with. We got samosa chat which was decent. We also got the hot and sour soup. I dont recommend at all. My throat was burning within a couple bites and I felt vomit come up. This isnt anything like other locations
not busy on a Saturday evening and I'm looking at at least 10 tables not cleared. Then I see the server shaking hands and I seriously doubt rewashing them. already sitting over 5 minutes and no greeting and no menu in my hands. another 5 minutes and I had to hail the guy. told me step up to the counter and order there. it is pay up-front. plate just served, let's hope. okay the food was okay - All veg and filling; seasoned fine to my taste; naan legit; potato chunks mush; rice too chewy;

Very disappointing experience. The $18 thali felt overpriced for the quality and freshness of the food, and the service did not help improve the situation. I hope the restaurant works on better food quality, fair pricing, and customer service. Also everyone there is rude.
I bought fafda & Jalebi ( By separately same day same time ) Owner open box of fafda against my eye and i buy. But on the top 4 piece looking good, And below that All burnt fafda and Thick like paratha. He charge almost $13.00/Lb. He using same tactics which happening in india. (KEEEPING CLEAN SPACE THAT DOESN'T MEAN FOOD QUALITY IS ALSO GOOD.) I prefer not go at this space. For proof i attached food pic and receipt.
Honest staff are great, even though they don't get any tips, which is illegal and the government will come and fine them one day. I asked for an uttappam with no green chili. They forgot to do so, so I thought I would just pick it out. The amount of chilis I picked out would give someone tremendous acid reflux. Do they not know their audience?

One of the worst food experiences I’ve had in a long time. I ordered the Honest Special Pav Bhaji and a Double Cheese Pizza—both were disasters. Pav bhaji is supposed to be their flagship item, but this location somehow figured out how to completely ruin it. The bhaji was bland, poorly cooked, and tasted nothing like pav bhaji should. If someone ate pav bhaji here for the first time, they’d walk away hating the dish altogether. The double cheese pizza was just as bad. Awful presentation, sloppy, unappetizing, and honestly embarrassing to serve. It looked thrown together without any care or quality control. This place manages to take well-known comfort food and turn it into something you regret ordering. Absolutely no consistency, no taste, and no pride in what they serve. Save your money and eat literally anywhere else.
Honest Indian Vegetarian Restaurant was honestly a horrible experience. The service was rude and inattentive from the start. The food itself was subpar, especially for the price. The masala dosa was burnt like how? And my son ordered gobi Manchurian with gravy that came out looking more like a watery soup than the dish it’s supposed to be. When we asked if we could get some rice for the gravy, the waitress appeared visibly annoyed and abruptly said there was no rice. I then said we would gladly pay extra for some rice, and she simply walked away and never returned to the table. No follow-up, no explanation. This restaurant is exceptionally expensive for the quality of food and service provided. It’s unfortunate because the space itself is beautiful, but poor customer service and inconsistent food quality completely overshadow that. On top of that you have to pay and give a tip before the food is even served at the counter. Needless to say, we will never be returning.

i wish i could give no star for this honest location. we ordered for about 10 people. since taking order to serve no hospitality or customer service. very rude behavior from employee. all tables are full of dirty dishes. we have to remind them twice to get our all order. we saw employee was eating from our dish can not believe that. they give us gujarati dal with dosa. i am eating in honest from all the way from canada to florida. this is worst location i ever went in to.

We had a great experience at the Coral Springs branch of Honest Indian Restaurant, so we decided to try the Tampa location. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to our expectations. We ordered the thali, just like we did in Coral Springs, but it was below average this time. The flavors were lacking and the overall quality wasn’t what we expected. We also tried chole bhature, which were good, but the manchurian gravy and fried rice were disappointing , the taste just didn’t work for us. Overall, the visit wasn’t worth it. We were hoping for the same consistency and quality as the Coral Springs branch, but this location fell short.
