Had a very pleasant breakfast here. Delicious and very well presented food at a very reasonable price. Server was friendly and attentive. This will certainly be a top choice next time we're in the area looking for breakfast or lunch. Highly recommended.

Loved Shelly's! This was out first time here and everything was great. The staff was very friendly and attentive. There were a lot of regulars who popped in and they knew everyone by name and I think that speaks volumes. We ordered the Shelly's Pancake combo, Banana Nut combo (bananas are baked into the batter, yum!), and the Western omelette.

Very afforable! Food was amazing! Fruit architecture was on point. a little crowded, but we did go when it was very busy. Definitely reccomend to anyone who doesn't want to wait for the Keke's breakfast line! Or if you just want some brunch!

You’re making a mistake if you don’t get the home fries. Some of the best I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend the Shelly French toast. The combo is a great price and the perfect amount of food! A dream breakfast. Not a long wait even when the line was out the door. Fast service and workers

Let me start by saying the food was AMAZING!! I had the banana nut carmel brioche french toast. The bread was fresh along with the bananas and nuts and as you see from the pics, there was no skimping on the toppings. The eggs and cheese were flawlessly cooked. But the game changer for me was the crispy bacon. I ate ALL the strips and there was no need to peel off the fat(which I typically do). Cameron, my host was awesome. He knew names of people coming in to pickup. The music is softly set, areas are cleaned and spacing is perfect!! This place is family friendly, delicious and most of all affordable!!!

Friendly staff and good food. Walked in and was immediately greeted by the staff. It's a cozy restaurant that can fill up quickly. We ordered a grilled cheese sandwich, fruity French toast, western omelet, hash browns, bacon, and a sode of fruit, with strawberry lemonades. The food came out relatively quickly. Everything was at the right temperature and was tasty. The pricing is also very reasonable.

Went to Shelly's Cafe for breakfast today. I chose the buttermilk pancakes with a fresh fruit topping - strawberries, blueberries, and bananas. The pancakes were slightly dry, but the generous portion of fruit made up for it. I added medium-well eggs and home fries to my order. The eggs were just the way I like them - lightly cooked with a semi-runny yolk. The home fries were decent, could've used a bit more crunch and a little more seasoning. My wife tried the Western omelette, served with home fries and toast, and she liked it. One highlight was the service - our waitress was super friendly, and a man who seemed like the owner made a point to check in with us. That was a nice touch. Overall, I'm rating Shelly's Pancakes 4.5 out of 5. While there's a bit of room for improvement (I'm looking at you, home fries), the quality breakfast and pleasant atmosphere mean we'll likely be back at some point. If a well-crafted breakfast in a relaxed setting is your jam, you might want to give Shelly's a try.

This breakfast experience is wonderful in this area. A much needed brunch restaurant. The French Toast was amazing a tasty! My son loved the pancakes... go, you will not be disappointed! Wonderful Brunch!

Amazing restaurant! We absolutely love it here. We found our go to place for breakfast and lunch. This was our first time visit. We had the chicken and mini - pancakes. My husband ordered the blueberry pancake I ordered the banana. The chicken was freshly cooked to order and it came with a homemade special sauce, mayonnaise based, very balanced, very tasty. The coffee is excellent, bold flavor and not bitter. The entire staff is friendly, accommodating and engaging. Our server, Cameron, was totally AWESOME. We dine out a lot and have to admit Cameron was amazing. He was super attentive, super friendly and outgoing. Cameron is definitely a valuable asset to this restaurant. Kudos to him for being exceptional and having a great personality. If I could taste higher than five stars, I'd give it a 10! 💖 We'll be coming here often.

Very Relaxing with plenty of parking. Quick Service & good food. Large pork chops. The home fries are good but appear deceiving. Home fries are dark & have an appearance of being over-cooked but they are soft & easy to chew. The cafe is Very Clean & the servers are very attentive. There is hardly any waiting time for delivery of the Food. The servers are cheerful & greet you with a smile.

Very delicious food!!! My first time going there and it was amazing. I would definitely recommend this location if your going alone, with friends, or with family!!!!!

Found this cute little spot driving by. Breakfast was delicious! I got the western omelette with sausage and it was yummy. Coffee was great, too. The menu wasn't overwhelming, but enough options for everybody. The owner was super sweet and welcoming. I would 10/10 recommend this place, and will come back.

The Tampa Omelet is delicious with tons of toppings. The breakfast is very simple, but super delicious! Their home fries are super crunchy and perfect seasoning. And their strawberry lemonade is THE BEST! Such a wonderful diner and highly recommend everyone to come here!

Spotted this little gem next to my boyfriends barber. Ended up going on a Monday with a friend. Food was delicious and there are good portions. The staff were friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely return. My friend order beignets and an omelette with toast I think. I ordered the Banana caramel nut French toast combo. We both got strawberry lemonade which was freshly made and delicious.

I elect the fruit salad side (there is an up charge) but well worth it as it is accompanied by a homemade caramel sauce- also super yum! Last were the pancakes- OMG- they almost float into the air they're so light and fluffy! I visit on weekdays and the few times I've gone on weekends it was busy but easily well worth they wait. And while you wait, please notice the art on the walls- original works of many types- a nice visual feast.

I really enjoyed the sliced home fries over traditional diced, and all the food was very fresh and seasoned well. My only complaint was that the French toast bread itself was bland flavored.

Food was DELICIOUS! The Shelly’s French toast with fresh fruit was phenomenal. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Not a crumb was left on the plates! Friendly service was the cherry on top. Our party of 12 was very pleased! We will most definitely be back!

Server greeted us kindly right away. Perfectly crispy bacon and pancakes, generous with the fresh fruit! Only request would be some music for the ambiance. Pricey, but honestly what isn’t in this economy. I’d rather give my $ to this small business so that we all stay afloat! For reference, my husband and I each got drip coffees and split the Shelley’s Pancakes combo and it came out to $29, including tip. Will be coming back!!

Loved Shelly’s! The staff were welcoming and helpful. The food came out fast and was delicious. I got the fried dough and a veggie omelette both were cooked to perfection. We were not rushed out and next time I want to go back and get some pancakes, the banana walnut sounded so yummy. Great local brunch spot!

The best breakfast we’ve had in while anywhere, this will definitely be our new favorite spot. The fruit was fresh, the pancakes were sooo fluffy, even the simple hot coffee was delicious. The server was sweet and attentive, we were sat and had our food in front of us not even 15 mins later. 10/10 recommend if you’re ever in the area but we drove 40 minutes here just to try a new place and we did not regret it one bit.

My group of four loved this location so much, we came here for breakfast both mornings we were in Tampa. Shelly was funny, kind, and very attentive, and the food was amazing. The chocolate chip pancakes were particularly phenomenal, as was the coffee. Highly recommended!

Food was a little above average. You get a decent amount (a lot more fruit and bacon on my Shelly's French Toast Combo compared to other restaurants). The atmosphere was average, there wasn't any decorations or anything. Not that many tables but we didn't have to wait when we got in around 11am. Our server was very nice and adorable. She was on top of it, so we have no complaints about that. I did only see two servers though, so I'm not sure how it would be when it gets busy. Prices weren't too bad. Breakfast combos are around $15-$19.

The food was excellent, especially the chicken sandwich. I tried to place a to-go order, but the server informed me it wasn't an option. So, I ordered an extra plate of what I wanted to take home. They brought it to my table, and I had to request a to-go box.

First time trying out this little place. I got the grilled club sandwich with homefries; the portions are huge. I was a little bit disappointed that there were limited options for the lunch menu. I quickly realized it was more of a breakfast Cafe so I hope to come back sometime and try out that side of the menu. The dining area was well kept and our waiter was very fast. A little to fast though, as he buzzed by it was hard to get his attention to ask for refills. Nevertheless, it was a great experience and I hope to come back.

Local Cafe in Florida Blueberry Pancakes had lots of blueberries and good flavor don't expect your normal size Pancakes these were on the smaller size just a little bigger than silver dollar Pancakes. The grilled cheese sandwich was good was looking for spicy mustard and they didn't have it. Overall serive was good very friendly and attentive however prices were high. $11 for 3 small Pancakes

I've been going here for years. Servers are on point and attentive. Limited menu but an ideal local breakfast spot. But they used to have very good grits that they no longer offer at all. I wish they would bring that back! The decor is really cute with symmetrical art and very complementary color. It's kind of one of those local places that you will frequent when you are a local.

Home fries were not good at all, they are fried but were not hot nor crispy Bacon and cheese omelette was mainly cheese French toast and pancakes were delicious Izzy was great!

Tried this place because of the rave reviews. Very friendly staff but please do something with the kitchen. Food was terrible. Tasteless eggs. Burnt home fries. Mediocre French toast. Fake butter. Sorely disappointed

As soon as we entered, the Asian hostess we spoke to barely acknowledged our presence while we gave her our name. Told us to sit outside while we wait for 30 minutes (Mind you, it’s freezing outside). Finally we got a table, then we overhear the same hostess tell a family that they should sit at a table inside while they wait since it’s so cold outside :). Food wasn’t bad, but the service (specifically from the hostess) wasn’t good.

I came in for breakfast to go. The place was new and very clean.IOrder 2 Sausage Omelets With Sliced potatoes in an english muffin.. The food was to me in about five minutes. When I got to work, the omelet was basically fried eggs, folded over with sausage in the middle. They do not know what an omelet is. The potatoes We're dark brown almost burnt. I had been cooked in grease that was burned. The english muffin looked like it had been beat up with a meat cleaver. And I ended up spending thirty-five dollars. If I could have left work, I would've taken it back to them. When you want an An omelet for that price, you should get an omelet, Not fried eggs

We ate breakfast here today, paid $45 for 2 meals, and then left and went and ate more at Hole in One donuts because we were still hungry. The tables are so crowded, the people sitting next to us couldn’t even get to their table. We will never come back. —— The service was excellent. Food was good. I got the crispy chicken sandwich. It had 3 large chicken tenders on it that were crispy and crunchy. The sauce was good, but could have been more tangy. The french fries were nice and crispy, but I had ordered them extra crispy, so yours might be softer. They were seasoned well. I also got the beneiet bites. They were slightly too crunch, almost like hush puppies rather than the soft pastries you would expect. They needed a sauce instead of only powered sugar. I ended up adding strawberry jelly to mine. The place was too tightly packet with tables and people kept bumping up against my chair. It's not a good place to go and have a quiet conversation or to relax. Expect a busy diner feeling. A waiter said they were actually slow at that time compared to normal and I already felt like it was too packed.
