Very delicious food, the staff was very friendly and working hard to prepare everyone’s dish. I can’t wait to try everything on the menu. I will be coming back. The atmosphere here is very calming and peaceful. Thank you guys for a great experience. We needed this in Taylor. There is only so many places to eat here.
2024 update: they have a liquor license now! yay! * Wonderful Korean home-style food. Top notch beef bulgogi with some homemade kim chi on the side! Such fantastic food at a great price. This will be a hot lunch spot in Taylor. Georgetown peeps might want to try it too. Super secret family recipe makes the sauce on the tofu and bulgogi amazing. Also tried yummy, filling japchae (sweet potato noodles) and bi bum bop (rice bowl with tasty veggies) Will re order! Yum! love this handmade, fresh ingredients approach! Dine-in or take out, I'm so glad we have gourmet food in Taylor, thanks.
(Kiddo) I recently came here with my family for my grandma's birthday. We loved the vibe and the lovely staff members. The food was absolutely incredible, and all the dishes had so much flavor. We had gotten a jinro green grape drink that was very smooth and had a great taste with our food. I recommended coming with your family and friends. (Jennifer) it's difficult to find a Korean restaurant my mom hasn't been to. My husband and I were so excited to find Taylor Seoul Food, especially after reading the reviews! I called in to make a res for 5p, but in mom's fashion, I had to call and ask for a 6p res,.. they were so accommodating! I am very grateful for the assistance they provided to make my mom's birthday dinner so epically special! Please try to make it out and remember to be kind because they deserve it!
I can’t believe how lucky we are to have such delicious Korean food in Taylor! Nothing like enjoying bulgolgi in a serene and friendly environment like this. The staff makes you feel completely welcome and cared for. Plus- it’s at the Old Taylor High so it makes a pleasant pit stop during a shopping trip. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. It’s not just great “for a small town”. It’s great- period!
I came after the lunch rush but was taken care of with such sweetness and kindness. The food was absolutely as much of a feast for the eyes as it was for the palate. Incredibly fresh and delicious with the Korean Hoagie big gigantic...but I could not stop eating. Best lunch of this trip. Highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Delicious and authentic Korean food! Food comes out super fast. Owner is really kind as well!
It's amazing food. Next to the old high school building. Hard to find. Well worth the visit.
We are so grateful to have Taylor Seoul Food in town. The bulgogi is my favorite, but everything they make is a winner. In an area where there's plenty of fried food (not knocking it, just saying there's a lot), it's so nice to have a place where you feel good after eating. It feels nourishing. The interior is beautiful as well--very serene and clean.
I miss living near so many great Korean food options. However, I love that we have this place in particular because the food is delicious. I've had to recommend this location to some of the Austin Asian food groups because it's worth the drive over here.
Our first time visiting this hidden gem. We ordered the dumplings as an appetizer. I could eat this all day, very delicious. We had two plates. The portion size were perfect, food tasted good, the salad was bomb and the pickle cucumber and cabbage was delightful. A perfect place for two, lunch meetings and maybe for private parties. The staff was friendly and the place is well kept. I would highly recommend this hidden gem.
So nice to have Korean food here in Taylor. The restaurant is located in what used to be the gym of Taylor high school. I was so happy with my meal. Absolutely delicious! I recommend the kimbap for an appetizer and bulgogi for your meal. I promise you will not be disappointed. If you've never tried Korean food this is the place to try it! The owner Naomi was so kind, came and introduced herself and made sure we were happy with our dinner. We will definitely be back
Wow! What a lovely dining experience! We called on the way up from Elgin and the kind woman on the phone said we were more than welcome even though we arrived 20 minutes before closing. The atmosphere was warm and calm and cozy. Our food was SO good! We don’t have many (any?) options for delicious and good quality Asian American food out here in the country, but they really knocked it out of the park. Our server was so sweet and played with our toddler. And the bill? It’s as much as you might pay at a run of the mill restaurant but you can really taste the quality, expertise and love in the food here. We can’t wait to come back!
Yum! This was my first visit here, I ordered the Spicy Pork Fire to-go and it was delicious. The employees were nice and the portion was generous. I appreciated the to-go container that kept things separated and is convenient for popping the leftovers in the refrigerator to enjoy later plus, compostable utensils! I will definitely be back.
Cinnamon tea was absolutely way too strong. Sipping it is ok. Took a gulp and wanted to throw it up Shrimp pancake was great. Brisket ramen was the biggest let down of the year. No flavor at all. Neat little place tho it has potential. Just broth and chili oil? The portions were also extremely off just as much bean sprouts as there was vermicelli. It was actually so disappointing I forgot to take a picture and barely ate any of it.
This place is such a cozy little spot — super cute and full of charm. The plants everywhere are thriving and really make it feel warm and welcoming. You can tell the place is well taken care of. The staff was super friendly and made us feel comfortable right away. The food was great! The chicken cutlets were honestly so juicy and flaverful, definitely the highlight of the meal! The side dishes were super fresh. 10/10 will be coming back 😊
Small dining area gives the best cozy vibes and a super nice staff member made sure my food was good. went in to just have a taste and take the rest for dinner but it was so good I finished the whole plate. Traditional ingredients with interesting new twists made this place a blast for a long time Korean food fan. 10 outta 10
So damn delicious it’s been awhile since I had a good meal like that! I love chicken katsu and the lunch special was the best I’ve ever had. I also love the clean atmosphere. The decor is simple and there’s lots of plants. Will definitely return since it’s not too far of a drive from Austin.
An absolute hidden gem in Taylor, TX. I was lucky enough to dine at their very first dinner time opening. This place exceeded any expectations I had based on prior reviews. The dining area is cozy and chic and located in a old school building. The service is impeccable. The owner and server both went out of their way to make sure we had an enjoyable experience. They were both so kind and made it feel as if we were guests in their own home. The food alone made this place worth going to. The Bulgogi Hoagie was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Full of flavors in between a piece of fresh bread accompanied with a delicious dipping sauce. The Spicy Pork Fire dish had the perfect amount of heat (could've been even spicier). It was a great comfort food dish served with a side of mashed potatoes arguably the best kimchi I've run into. AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!
This restaurant interior provides cozy and unwind atmosphere.. Plus, the food is quite decent for the local and foreigners to enjoy Korean cuisine... Specifically, lovely owner chef consider customer's health-conscious. So you might feel like that you have home-made food in common Korean local house.
Opened right on time. Good yet controlled selection of plates. Dining hall was spotless and I loved the simple and relaxing decoration. Jazzy music on the background, quite fitting for the vibe. Service personnel was superb. Very amiable, attentive and well presented. Food came up at a good pace, good temperature and well presented. I asked for a fried egg additional to my plate and the kitchen obliged with a perfect one in no time. I got Tteokbokki ana Spicy Pork. Both with a good kick but not too spicy. Got spinach and daikon banchan. I did enjoy my food a lot and had a great time eating here. Highly recommended.
I am so glad we googled new food in Taylor. We live in Georgetown but come to Taylor often for family. Naomi (the owner) was an absolute sweetheart. I am such a stickler for detail and the presentation was perfection. So much care and thoughtfulness went into the menu. I have never had Korean food so wasn't sure what to expect. Boy were we blown away. We will be back!
This is best Korean food in the Austin area. This cute gem in Old Taylor High (it’s in the old cafeteria) has some amazing Bulgogi and Kim Bop. I tried the Creamy Dreamy Kimchi Fried Rice. It tastes like some Gordon Ramsey would make. This is definitely our new favorite spot.
We were so excited to hear that a Korean restaurant opened up nearby and had to try it. We got the Bulgogi Kimbap (불고기 김밥) and Tteokbokki (떡볶이), and they both were delicious! They didn’t short out on the bulgogi in the kimbap and the rice wasn’t dry. The rice cake in the tteokbokki wasn’t over cooked and was chewy and tender (a lot of places that serve tteokbokki overcook their rice cake). The sauce was unique that it didn’t taste like the street food tteokbokki that you could get in Korea (but in a really good way) but rather homemade. You can definitely tell everything was fresh. I thought that the price was good for what you got as it came with miso soup and small side of creamy noodles (I think it was sweet potato noodles/당면). I’m grateful that Korean food is becoming easier to find up north (of Austin), and happy to support our small businesses! Definitely coming back!
This is a tricky place to find, but when you do it is well worth the hunting. Everything is so fresh, and so good. 😌 I recommend this place in the fullest, a true must try for anyone looking for great food. And the waitress was so sweet and helpful. LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I WILL BE BACK AGAIN AND AGAIN.
I can live off their crab fried rice. Taylor Seoul food did not disappoint. Amazingly fresh & well flavored food. The ambience was beautiful & calming, the service was wonderful & the food spoke for itself. What a gem to have in this small town. ❤️ So happy I decided to try it! Portions were great for the price as well.
This is an amazing little hidden gem. The food was amazing, everything was seasoned perfectly, and was very bright and vibrant. The tea was a good strong matcha, and the hot pot had about 10 different components to it, all very fresh and delicious. The service was very friendly and prompt as well. Will definitely be back.

First time for me to have Korean food, it certainly won't be my last! Just spicy enough, and incredibly flavorful.

Extremely thoughtful restaurant, fresh ingredients, kind staff. We come here about once a week, either on a date or with my kids before going to the arcade. We all love the vegan options especially the dumplings and kimbap but honestly everything is so good! The decor is beautiful and cozy.
This was my first experience at this unpretentious, yet simple and elegant restaurant was a huge surprise. The owner/chef Naomi let's her food shine, by putting so much care and love into every dish. I was so happy with everything I ate from the short ribs to the pickled cucumber potato salad. The marinated lotus root was so flavorful and the overall presentation was thoughtful. I can not wait to return to this little gem and experience the delightful and thoughtful cuisine of chef Naomi. Thank you chef for a wonderful experience at your restaurant.
This was the freshest and tastiest food I’ve had in a while. The environment was also perfect for my taste : intimate , playing the old standards, late afternoon quiet. I’m delighted!
First time dining here and I will most definitely be back. Amazing attentive and friendly service. Wonderful atmosphere and EXCELLENT food. Not to mention a very delicious cinnamon tea 😍 5 stars!!!

The server and owner are very polite, very nice atmosphere, the meat in my specific dish had some what of a strange flavor and several menu options were not available
Very delicious food. Took quite a while for server to take our order. Food came at different times (true for other tables, too). Dish called something like "Spicy Hot Fire!!!" was mildly spiced. Kim chi was hot, as expected.
The food was amazing, fresh, and flavorful. I would highly recommend the spicy pork, bulgogi, and the dumplings appetizer. The interior is modern and upscale with tasteful decoration and a clean welcoming atmosphere. The menu offers variety for more traditional Korean cuisine while also having a few more approachable dishes. I would say the only issue with my visit was the service. Perhaps they are just inexperienced, or short handed. The staff took a while to take our order despite the restaurant being nearly empty, to be fair we did ask for time to look at the menu but when I have a closed menu in front of me it should be an indicator I am done looking at it. The appetizer never came as an appetizer and was delivered with the main dish. Staff never returned to ask if the order was correct, enjoyable, or to refill our drinks. I told the server we were done and would like the check and they never returned with the bill. I had to ask a different employee to bring me the check. Again aside from the lapse in service everything was excellent and the staff was friendly and definitely not rude. I believe there just may be an opportunity for improvement or additional training as the staff working the front of house was very young.
Very nice place clean services nice My waitress was a lovely young lady the food was very good. The only thing I wasn't impressed with was the miso soup though I think that might be it just wasn't my taste it's not that it was bad
I am so glad we finally stopped in for dinner in the small but cute spot in Taylor. They specialize in Korean inspired comfort food with a good menu selection to cover all types of consumers. It is located in the Old Taylor High School complex and has a nice, upscale feel with excellent food. The staff is so friendly and happy to make suggestions. We shared the Korean Bulgogi and Curry chicken cutlet. Both dishes come with a wonderful salad, light and so fresh and marinated green beans - so good! The bulgogi was very tender with some good flavor, although, it could have been more spicy. The Curry Chicken was excellent with tons of flavor. It is hard to curate a successful wine list and the owner has done a great job picking some affordable and more expensive options from fine producers without the grocery store feel. I think this could be the best restaurant in Taylor!! We will definitely be back.
Happy to eat Korean food in Taylor! The wait staff was super friendly & accommodating to kids. Food tasted fresh and well prepared. The beef bulgogi was tender and easy to chew.
The food here is authentic and outstanding. The service can be slow but the food is worth the wait. Been a couple times and everything was delicious.
