I want to start by saying the food itself was not bad. However, for a nearly $50 breakfast (one croissant and two coffees), the overall experience fell far short of what the pricing and branding suggest. What stood out most was the lack of warmth and professionalism. Service wasn’t outright terrible, but it felt dismissive and unfriendly which is especially disappointing given the number of reviews over the years that echo the same concern. This doesn’t feel like an isolated off day; it feels like a pattern. What makes this more confusing is the visible display of elite culinary credentials, including a diploma from École Lenôtre. With training of that caliber, one would expect hospitality, composure, and respect for customers to be just as important as technique. Unfortunately, that level of professionalism does not seem to translate to the front-of-house experience here. Luxury pricing comes with luxury expectations not just in food, but in attitude, service, and how customers are treated, especially when concerns are raised. Many high-end establishments manage this balance beautifully; this one currently does not. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, because the potential is there but service culture matters just as much as credentials on the wall.
Nice coffee shop. Top notch coffee and pastry. Good service and nice atmosphere in a good location.
Every time we come to Temecula to visit family, a three hour trip, we make sure to stop at Le Coffee. They have the best croissants! The almond is my favorite and I’m broken hearted when they’re out! The food is delicious, we especially like the quiche and those wonderful potatoes. The service is impeccable and the staff are gracious and kind.
Le Coffee is an absolute gem! We tried the omelet and the Nutella crepe, and both were incredible, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The omelet was hearty and satisfying, while the crepe was light yet packed with flavor with fresh banana, strawberries & raspberries. Great coffee & great service. Some of the best breakfast food we’ve had. Totally worth the visit. The people are wonderful too.
Thursday morning in Temecula. I spot a café with over 1,100 reviews and a solid 4.5 rating. At that point, you don’t overthink it—you walk in. First impression? Parking is rough. Really rough. I ended up paying $10.35 for two hours, which honestly feels like daylight robbery. I know it’s not directly the café’s fault, but when there are only a few tables occupied, it would be nice to see some kind of validation or reserved spots for guests. Paying that much just to grab breakfast hurts a little. Then the food arrived. And I immediately stopped complaining. I ordered the salmon omelet, and it was absolutely spot on. I’m not into salty food, I prefer clean, balanced flavors—and this was exactly that. Nothing overpowering, nothing heavy. Just done right. One of those plates where you slow down without realizing it because every bite makes sense. The coffee? Strong enough to wake you up, but not aggressive. Not overly sweet either. Basically, exactly how I like it. Service deserves its own mention. The girl at the register was genuinely helpful—answered all my questions, gave recommendations, even shared what she personally likes (she’s into sweeter options). That kind of interaction matters. It felt human, not scripted. Would I love cheaper parking? Absolutely. Would I come back anyway? Without hesitation. I’d pay for parking again if it means starting my morning like this. If you’re in Temecula and thinking about breakfast—this place earns its reputation.
My family and I were visiting Temecula for the weekend and wanted to get a coffee and pastry for the road. I enjoy trying coffee shops and this was the only one in the area open early. I wish I had taken a picture of what I ate, one bite and I couldn’t stop eating! I had the gotten the horchata latte 10/10 and my family got a croissant, danish with fruit, and a cinnamon roll. All the pastries were 1000/10! The best I’ve had in a while. I wish I would’ve bought more to take home. Will definitely come here again when I’m in the area.
This is an awesome coffee and breakfast spot. Prices are fair, portions are good as well. The service is good and quick. One of my favorite places in town to meet friends in the morning or have meetings! My favorite thing to get on the menu is the BCO w/no cheese and a side salad and a London Fog, the pastries are amazing as well!
🥐☕️🧈 I’ve tried croissants all over Europe and the U.S., and honestly, the ones from Le Coffee Shop are next level! You can taste the effort and love they put into every piece—nothing random, just pure skill. Grab any of their pastries with your morning coffee and you’ll totally get why I’m obsessed. It’s rare to find pastries that actually make you feel something, but Le Coffee Shop does it! 🤎🤎🏅
During our vacation in the States, we just wanted to try something different that tastes more like a European breakfast. Le Coffee Shop offers everything you could dream of: super crispy and flavorful croissants, as well as sweets like crêpes, waffles, and French toast. We had two iced matcha lattes (one with pistachio and the other standard), two DIY croissants (one with cheddar & caramelized onions and one with feta & diced tomatoes), and a French toast to share. It was great! Excellent service!! We’d definitely recommend this place!
This is a French bakery. The pastry rich, buttery, flaky and whether it is a warm cinnamon bun or an apple turn over the star of every bite is the pastry. The cinnamon and apple and wonderful companions for each wondrous bite. The coffees start with great coffee flavor and the presentation and finish on the Vietnamese coffee and perfection of its layered flavors. Whether you stir it all together or just a bit of sweetness into the expresso makes a great starter for your day. Don’t sell the scrambled eggs short they are wonderfully creamy and rich with just the right amount of salt. See the happy faces along the outside patio as you walk up and check out the menu for heartier fare if you’re really hungry.
A French café shop that offers freshly baked croissants and crafted espresso drinks. There is plenty of seating in the overflow area which is decorated nicely. The staff was nice and service was fast. I ordered the Dulce De Leche latte, it was full and creamy, with bit of sweetness.
I enjoyed the cappuccino with oat milk and the acai bowl. The coffee was strong and full of flavor. The fruit was fresh and presented so beautifully. If you order French Toast, it will come out looking like a waffle. Apparently they use the same machine for both! How unique. When I asked about dairy and egg allergies, be aware, there aren't many options. But the staff was very kind to offer to make a lunch item. I opted for the acai bowl, though, and it was great.
This is one of my go to spots in Temecula for breakfast. Food is delicious and employees are very friendly! Haven’t had a bad experience or anything wrong with the food since coming here. Highly recommend the granola salad. We get it a few times a week, absolutely fantastic. Always fresh fruit and delicious yogurt. The cafe miel is amazing, it’s a must try!
Today we tried this café for the first time. My husband and I shared a bacon and onion omelette and upgraded to potatoes. We had a bottled orange juice and an almond croissant. The total for this order was $31. I found it to be high priced for what we got. The omelette was delicious as well as the almond croissant. The potatoes were just ok and so was the imported orange juice. I would come back to pick up a couple croissants or maybe try a sandwich sometime, but this would not be a regular breakfast spot based on the value. There is no indoor seating except to go inside their unopened bistro a couple of doors down, which has no ambience at the moment. Overall, just an OK experience.
Cute little coffee shop that has good French breakfast options in Old Town Temecula. However, seating is limited and you order at a counter so can get busy some mornings. I got the Croque Madame and a Quiche. Both were delicious and a good portion. The Canele was also really tasty too. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Overall, would visit again for breakfast!
🥐: almond croissant ☕️: iced salted tiramisu latte I think I’ve stopped by here like 3 times in the last two weeks and I don’t even live near here LOL. The almond croissant is the best I’ve ever tried and is the reason I’ve come back every time! Their drinks are okay but I’ve also tried their canele and it was amazing!! I wish that was available daily.
The day was beautiful so it was nice to sit outside this morning. I'm a little confused how everything worked. This day I stood in line to place our order then found seating ourselves. It's self serve for your coffee which was interesting. They give you a number so then can bring you your food, and then when you are done they will pick up your plates. There seems to be no server because noone ever came by to check up on us, which was ok, I was just surprised. I assumed it was like every other restaurant. The food was good nothing too extravagant. I would like to try this place again at a different time to see how everything works out then.
I ordered a berry crepe, horchata latte, Mexican mocha latte, and the mozzarella quiche. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the berry crepe. It was very bland, hardly any berry filling and mostly just flour. I ate most of it (as usual), but I would not buy crepes here even for 5$. The coffees were another thing. I got the Mexican mocha and the horchata (iced) and tasted like syrup. Neither tasted like their name stated - I’m very disappointed. Guys there are many great coffee places, but this place needs to step it up and give better quality coffee. On the other hand, the mozzarella pesto quiche was amazing. Note this quiche size is small and a bit pricey, but If I would ever go here again I’d probably only order this quiche and a cup of water.
This place has gone down down hill. I used to come here a lot but with my experience today, I’m so disappointed. 1. The person ringing me up, she walked away as I was paying and I literally had to ask “do I take a number?” Her response, “what?” Then she finally understood what I meant. No smiles no apologizes. Just pure rudeness 2. I ordered a vanilla oat latte. They usually put latte art and try but I know my coffee didn’t even have vanilla syrup because it was so bitter which is not usual for them. 3. Atmosphere is great but what’s the point when the people that work here are so rude and unfriendly? They lost me and my entire family as customers.
We are regulars here, so we usually don’t double-check the payment screen. Unfortunately, the team member entered the wrong items. When we went back to let them know, they pointed to the policy below—which we completely understand. However, because the employee rang in the wrong order, we were still made to pay again for the correct item. I had to throw away the incorrect item because I’m allergic and couldn’t eat it. As we were leaving, the owner came outside and began yelling at me, saying, “If you know karma, it’s going to come at you.” I was honestly shocked. She didn’t take a moment to understand the situation or why we brought it up. Even though we did take the food out of the trash (still in bag clean) and drove around to give to a homeless person. I felt so sick to my stomach from her yelling I couldn’t eat all day. Even the second meal, which we also ended up giving away because above comments from her were so harsh. Personally felt very offended the way the owner came at me. They lost a regular and plus our family & friends. Before judging someone and giving them “bad karma” it’s best to take a moment to reflect what’s happening to the person. Have a good day.
