Came here for date night. Ordered the maestro taco which is 2 tacos in one with birria and shrimp with consomé to dip in. It’s delicious! A must have. My fiance had the fish tacos, which he enjoyed. We also ordered the tamarindo and mango margaritas … yum 😋 Friendly staff, and good vibes.
Wanted to try a new place for date night. This restaurant exceeded expectations. The atmosphere and decor were really cool, the chips were crispy and warm, the salsa was fresh and tasted great, everything about my carne asada plate was delicious… this place is on point.
We had a great experience and an amazing time ! Although reservations aren’t able to be placed…the servers kindly noted and accommodated our family celebration when the day and time came. The food was on point and delicious with great size portions. The servers and staff did an amazing job from beginning to end. This was our first time here and definitely won’t be our last ! The servers came out often to check on us picking up our plates, placing additional orders, and SHOTS ! Tamarindo shot was good and so was the Mango Margarita ! I personally want to thank the GM Dave…you have an awesome and amazing team ! Great job and thank you for this pleasant experience !
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tacos and Beer delivers an exceptional dining experience that perfectly balances quality, flavor, and atmosphere. Their beer selection is equally impressive, offering the perfect complement to the menu and enhancing the overall experience. The restaurant maintains a welcoming environment with a lively yet comfortable vibe, making it suitable for both casual gatherings and relaxed evenings out. Service is prompt, professional, and genuinely attentive, which elevates the overall visit. A true standout in the area—Tacos and Beer is highly recommended for anyone seeking excellent food, a great beverage selection, and consistently top-tier service.
I have to say we've had great experiences at this resturant. We drive about 40 minutes to eat some really good mexican food. I don't know if this is the manager or the owner but the night of game 7 we went in to eat and there was a man that looked like the manager/owner and he attended to our side so good that we had our food nice and hot drinks were always on the table and he wasn't even our server. Great service and it was fast too.
Went to try this place for the first time. I swear the food tastes like it was made fresh by a family from Mexico. The birria ramen was to die for. My husband got the chilaquiles and we got a kid's meal for baby girl. The prices scared us a bit but the taste of everything made it all worth it. Our server Josh is definitely the guy to ask for. He had some recommendations on food, drinks, and even salsa. Would for sure recommend to anyone looking for good Mexican food.
I hope you see this! We visited on Thursday 02/09/2023 around 730! Let me just say it was the most amazing experience we’ve had! The service is worth everything and the employees were amazing! We had come from another place prior the same day we’re we got seated and waited for 15/20 minutes with our being served or a hello we ended up walking out and coming to tacos and beer 🍺. It was well worth walking out of the other Mexican restaurant. The service was fast and the environment was great! We ordered mango margaritas which were incredible along with yummy shots! It made my incredibly bad day turn around. The street tacos were the best I have had in years! I thank you guys for a wonderful experience and thank you for the servers for the great work you do. I truly wish I caught her name again but she deserves a raise! We ended up sitting at the bar and will come back and bring friends with us to share a great experience! We will be back! It’s our new favorite date night spot
Had my eye on this place for a while. Came in for a drink and a quick bite. Will definitely come and try out the bottomless mimosas brunch! The hostess in the front had me standing there for a while. The bartender saw me standing there and came to seat me. Good service at the bar area.
Dropped in to grab a bite to eat, we left there on over load 😂 We started off with the loaded nachos and boy were they loaded! The portion for our meals were huge and extremely tasty. Our server was super sweet and very helpful. This is definitely a great spot to hang out and just have a good time.
I’ve been here a few times now and the food has never disappointed. Everything we’ve tried has been consistently delicious. While the prices may seem a bit high at first, the portions are very generous—I usually can’t even finish my meal. The only concern from our visits is that the servers seem to be handling many tables at once and are clearly doing their best while staying busy. If you’re really hungry, it’s a good idea to get chips and salsa while waiting for an appetizer or your meal Overall, the quality of the food makes it worth it. I’ve always left satisfied and would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.
10/10 Recommend. We went to our favorite spot first and it was CROWDED... to be expected since it was Father's Day. We decided to try some place new, and let me say Tacos and Beer did not disappoint. My mom and I enjoyed some drinks, watched the Dodgers and let tell you the food was AMAZING 🤩 my mom had the three meats fajitas (it can literally feed two people) and I had the enchiladas. It was all so yummy 😋 The music 🎶 was amazing and the atmosphere was great as well. We will definitely visit again.
Food was great. Atmosphere was phenomenal. Service was good. Portions were excellent.
Everything i have ordered here never disappoints. On my 4th visit the last couple months. Hemet location not as good. This was the first time for their brunch service.

Tacos and Beer is not your usual Mexican restaurant. It is pretty upscale without being overpriced. If you want a new experience in fine dining, stop on by and have a bite. But, make sure you read through the entire menu. You might miss a real treat!
Tacos & Beer in Temecula is hands down one of the best spots around! The customer service is exceptional—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. You can tell the staff and management truly care about their guests and take pride in what they do. The food is absolutely top-tier. The tacos are packed with flavor, fresh, and perfectly cooked, and the beer selection is always on point. Everything comes out fast, hot, and delicious every single time. On top of that, the management runs this place incredibly well. The atmosphere is fun and upbeat, the team works seamlessly together, and the overall experience is consistently excellent. If you’re in Temecula and want the best food, best service, and best management, Tacos & Beer is the place to be. Highly recommend!
Placed an order online for 3 large burritos from not so secret menu. 1 family meal of 24 taquitos with rice and beans. Food and service were amazing. The presentation and boxing all items for easy carry to my car was perfect. Potluck was a success thanks to you. We will be back for many more meals in the future. Hope to have a happy hour there soon!
We love this place. The service, the food taste and portion size all warrant 5/5 stars. I remember when they opened up and were just starting - they made changes and we are happy to see that they build on what works and what customers want. 100% go support!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – New favorite spot in Temecula! We stopped by Tacos & Beer for brunch and WOW… this place deserves all the hype. The food and service were exceptional from start to finish. We ordered the loaded nachos, El Chingón taco, a potato taco, and a fruity watermelon agua fresca — and every single thing was delicious. The nachos were stacked and flavorful without getting soggy, the tacos were honestly some of the best I’ve had in a long time. The El Chingón taco especially lived up to its name — super flavorful with the perfect kick. The potato was surprisingly one of my favorite things too, crispy outside and soft inside. And that watermelon agua fresca… SO fresh, sweet, and refreshing. I would come back just for that. The service was fast, friendly, and attentive even though the place was busy. You can tell they care about their customers and their food. If you’re in Temecula, this is definitely a must-try. We’ll absolutely be back!
Ok, I like this place A LOT. Good music. The food is so good. I’ve only had the calderon de brujas/witches brew and it’s really good. The place is so beautiful, clean. The seafood is prepped in a whole separate section called “Marisco Bar”. Had fish tacos, shrimp tacos, fresh oyster, torre de mariscos, queso fundido and the shrimp dish. Love it!

Celebrated a birthday with a party of 13 here for the first time and it was enjoyable. The service was particularly noteworthy and the atmosphere definitely has potential. If you’re celebrating an occasion, then the sparklers and props they bring to the table will elevate the celebration. Cannot speak too much on the food, although the portions were pretty sizable. Will absolutely be giving them another try in the future.
Overall, my experience at this restaurant was enjoyable. The food was very good and the menu offered some great options. Some dishes felt a bit on the higher-priced side, but the quality was very good. For groups of seven or more, there is an automatic 18% gratuity added, which is helpful to know in advance. One area that could make the experience even better is hospitality. A warmer welcome and friendlier interactions from the host, some of the servers, and management would really elevate the atmosphere. Aside from that, everything else was positive, and I would return again for the food.
In a city where good, authentic and quality Mexican seafood is hard to come by, this is one place you can count on. The food is amazing, very well served, nice portions, the people are friendly and quick to assist. Our only issue was that our order was messed up a couple of times, we had asked for no spice for my sons food and twice it had spice, they made it right though, and brought out the proper plate. I think the manager or owner went to make sure it was done right the 3rd time. Mistakes happen though, very happy with this place overall, will probably be going back soon. Update 7/19/2024**** The menu has sadly been reduced. They eliminated a lot of different menu items and have in a way conformed to the typical menu you see everywhere else. The food was not bad, nothing special about it, it neither tastes amazing nor bad, it's on par with pretty much everyone around here. I would go again if I'm nearby, but definitely not something I would go out of my way for.
It's good. It is an interesting setup because one side of the restaurant is it is fast casual and the other is full service. Although if you do sit in the full service area (which I did) you do have to get up and grab your own salsa. Our server was friendly, and the food was good. I got the mulita and the other people I was with got quesadillas, corn and huarache. The desserts were basic and looked like they came out of a Box wouldn't recommend them outside of the churros. They don't have a full bar so if you order a Margarita you can only get it on the rocks.
Great food friendly service. We sat in the full service area. Tacos were excellent. Keto taco option was great. Menu is hard to read, they need to fix that. Waitress said we could scan the qr for the menu but that didn’t have descriptions of the food and was had to see in the phone.
Looking for happy hour options and landed at Tacos and Beer Temecula. The prices were decent. The food was tasty, the drinks were good. Can't beat classic margaritas for $5. Not watered down too! Read that you must sit at the bar for happy hour. Ordered loaded fries, mini taquitos and mini barria tacos. Very tasty. Only thing was the taquitos are overly crunchy. I would go again!
Service and atmosphere were good. Talk to your server if you have a food allergy, the chief will cook everything separately! All the food was really good but I have had better molcajete. I will be back to try something different 🙂
The presentation and food quality is EXCELLENT. Vibe is nice, music perfectly ambient. EVERY SINGLE staff encounter was just.... poor. Like... THE WORST... Queso fundido was perfect .. The tacos are made with fresh ingredients, the aguas were refreshing and so visually beautiful... Shrimp cooked to perfection.... Asad perfect and tender and their refried beans are the BEST 🌟
First time here. Ordered one street taco, mole enchiladas, and wife mixed fajitas. Also ordered a margarita flight as we wanted to try all various flavors. They were generous with their chips and salsa. Salsa was medium. When the salsa bites back a little you know it's good. Street Taco was good and came with a double tortilla and a wedge of line. Mole enchiladas were also yummy 🤤. Good job on the mole! The fajitas were super hot! And stayed hot because they use this thick cat iron plate. Through the whole meal it remained hot and I mean ay ay hot. Great job there. The portions were generous. Price was a bit expensive compared to most. The final bill was $102. For two of us. It was a nice experience and we will be back for more. Once final things. They had loud music going. Too loud. The music was great but my ears were ringing after we left. Turn it down one notch and save some eardrums.
This restaurant was different in that you order at the counter and they bring the food to you. We were greeted by a friendly order taker, and we were guided to a section of the restaurant. The music in this section was very loud! We couldn’t hear ourselves talk, a bit frustrating. Our food was hot, and flavorful, yet for what it cost, I expected it to be exceptional. My overall experience was okay, the restaurant was clean, and everyone we came in contact with was friendly.

Came here in Valentines and was able to be seated in about 15 minutes. Unfortunately the server took almost twice that long to realize we were there. We actually had to get water, chips and salsa from a bus-boy. Once the waiter did come around he was very attentive and courteous, even apologetic for the long wait. He did good at recovering in regards to service. The food was good if you disregard the cost. Although the portions are very hearty, so you could definitely save money by sharing plates. They have some pretty good salsas - the spicy red tastes like my mother-in-laws, so very authentic. Their margaritas and micheladas are on point as well. The decor and atmosphere is very unique and has a nice vibe. The paintings and structural aspects are very authentic to the history of Mexico. All in all, check it out. Nothing was so bad that I couldn’t go back.

The service was GREAT!!! The atmosphere was really cool. We sat in a booth in the bar area. The beers on tap were a good selection. Sadly, The food wasn't as good as I thought it would be though. It definitely WAS NOT worth the money they charge. Completely OVER PRICED!! They don't have prices on the menu's either. It kind of reminded me of the cafeteria food in high school - the look and the taste. When the guy brought our food he just tossed it down and ran off to help a big table of regulars it looked like. Wasn't happy about that. Waitresses were super sweet though!!! The place was across the parking lot from Islands and we sort of wished we chose islands instead.
The food didn't have any seasoning. It was very Blaine. The staff was nice. We didn't send anything back besides the queso birria taco it wasn't what I expected. However, they did take it back and add the cheese like it needed. The flavors just weren't there. However, the portions are big.
3.5 stars. The Burris tacos are delish; however was not pleased with the sandiachelada, while the concept is fun, it’s a hassle to get the alcohol out of it. I will come back for a regular michelada and see if the rating changes. The atmosphere is welcoming and fun, they play good music. The guacamole does not taste authentic and the beans and rice can be compared to Miguel jrs. It is very Americanized but seems like a good spot to drink and chill.
My family and I was so excited for the opening of the branch of tacos and beer in Temecula it's more closer and convenient! My daughter is one the biggest fan of their Cheese Quesidilla (i know it is a simple dish but she told me it taste a lot better than the other quesdilla she ate in the other mexican restaurants, she's 5 year's old) We went today for their opening, there's a lot of people already on the line but we got in quickly, staff's here are very nice and friendly but i think they forgot our order 🥺 we waited almost 30mins, we saw the other costumer that just got in, they got their order quickly, so we needed to get up and ask someone about our order after like under 15mins finally we got our order! Although we waited, our food was so good we enjoyed it, we also got some drinks which was so delicious! We definitely going to go back soon! Update: with my recent review, we went back to this branch, but unfortunately this place was not organized unlike in Hemet, it's been a couple weeks since the opening and yet , they forgot our drinks we needed to ask them for it,(again) did i mention we got a late dinner here, there's no a lot of people during that time. Although their stuff's are very friendly and nice, we won't be back anytime soon, 😬. Wish they read all the reviews about them and find root of the problem. They currently have 3.6 reviews... I will rate it from 5 to 3 😶
Had the Aguachile verde (spice level 4) and it tasted amazing! What I didn't like was that everyone in the table must go to the counter and order their food separately with no waiter checking in on you. Everyone in our table of 11 got our food except my uncle and we had already started eating. We had to ask a staff twice about his food before they finally brought it out. Wish we could take our tip back for poor service. Other than this, food was pretty fire.
This is a fun place, but unfortunately, the food was mid AF…The service was great, fun upbeat (definitely loud), and tons of fun food and drink choices. I ordered the shrimp taquitos, a no go FO Sho. It had some minced filling that barely resembled shrimp. They replaced it and I had chicken enchiladas better but just decent. The the salsas are good. The drinks are made with Agave wine, it doesn’t seem like they have a liquor license. But the Cantarito was still pretty good

As I walked in, you are immediately greeted by the amazing art of the place. I then saw and B-Lined it to their bar but was told that the tables in the bar area was not open seating, even though there was nobody sitting there. Fine whatever, I placed my name in just get a bar area seating. I was given a drink menu but I really just came try their food and their happy hour. I asked for a food menu but they do not have any paper menus, then they said I would have to go to the front of the restaurant to order food! Like why? Already this starting be not a good experience. I would have to go the front and block people trying order their food but then I noticed that everyone was just staring at the menu and this caused a lot of unnecessary foot traffic just because they didn't have any normal menus. I didn't order food because it was just not a good dinning experience. So we asked about if they have happy hour there and they said they do but only in the dinning area and not in the bar section. That was another turn off. I would think you have Happy hour in the bar than the dinning table. But I was already there and parched, so I ordered two Modelos, one for me and my pops. So for it to be Tuesday, no tacos, and no happy hour at the bar, really bummed us out. So we drank our two beers and got the tab. For just the two Modelos, it came out to 19.50! That's 9.75 a beer! That is an insane price and one I would expect to pay if I was in Vegas, not here. So we left with a very negative experience here. But as we where leaving, we found out their happy hour drink special and it is a buy a 24oz drink and get a 16oz for a $1. I personally don't fell like that's a great happy hour special and would rather go somewhere else. Another thing we noticed while sitting there, we noticed that there was a lot of workers just standing around not doing anything it looked liked. Overall, there are a lot of better places that have a smoother dinning and bar experience, better menus, and better happy hour specials. I would not waste my time with this place again.
Finally checked this place as it was recommended as a good alternative to Los Panchos. Unique dining experience. Part taco-shop; part dine-in restaurant. They assign you a table when you arrive, but you order/pay for food before you get to your table. So no menu or waitress. There's also a salsa bar and fountain drink area where you serve yourself. Pros: large venue with lots of tables, no wait even on a Saturday evening. Taquitos were freshly made. Definetly the best part of our meal. Cons: the watermelon micheladas definitely looked better than it tasted. It was room temperature when it was served. So it was like drinking warm beer, and eating warm watermelon. Not worth the $25 we paid. The oyster shooters were very spicy. We ordered a level 3 (of 5) and it felt like a 5. (We are used to spicy foods and the shooters were still extremely hot) the shooters came with 6 fresh oysters. They were topped with civeche-type mixture. It was too much of it. You wouldn't even know you're eating an oyster if it weren't severed in the shell. The menudo was okay. A little bland. We added all the chili sauce that it comes with, but thay just peppered the flavor. At least it was homemade with fresh ingredients.
This place used to be my go-to spot to celebrate my loved ones’ birthdays, but today, January 7, 2026, was a complete disappointment. I brought my daughter to celebrate her birthday, but the service was incredibly slow. When we entered the restaurant to find a table, I informed them that we were there to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. However, they didn’t have the birthday board with the lights for her, and they were out of three leches cake. Instead of a joyous celebration, it turned out to be a sad affair. We were there to have a good time, but instead, we were left feeling disappointed and dejected. We will definitely not be returning to this establishment.
I had a very disappointing experience ordering food to go from this restaurant. We waited over 20 minutes just to receive a tres leches cake, while the girl at the counter repeatedly ignored us. When we finally got the order and arrived home, we realized they had given us a completely wrong item. Because of their mistake, I had to drive all the way back, wasting even more time. When I politely asked about the issue, the same girl had a terrible attitude and simply said “we don’t have that item, we give what we have”—which was not at all what I ordered. There was no apology and no effort to take responsibility for the error. Overall, this was a waste of time, with poor customer service and unprofessional behavior from the staff. I would not recommend ordering to go from here unless they seriously improve their attitude and order accuracy.
Went with a party of 5 and our scores averaged a 1 star. One of our party members saw a Tik Tok video stating this was a must for Temecula residents so we decided to give them a shot. My wife and I ordered the 4 taquitos a la carte which were decent. We got the chips & quac which were sub par, and the guac tasted straight out of a Costco bulk package, not a quality I expect from a restaurant like this. My party ordered Birria tacos with consome and they stated that it was bland. They left their meals to the flies. They also ordered Michiladas which they did not finish either. Final nail on this coffin was the fact that I just ordered water and still after 12 minutes after my food arrived I barely got it. I won't be returning. Pros: Looks like a good place to hit the bar. The art is nice.
This place does not value customers time- we came on a Tuesday night when it was not busy at all. Hostess wouldn’t even great us or make eye contact for over 10 minutes when we were a couple feet from the hostess stand. She was just standing there for a while and helped another family who had been waiting too- they were also talking out loud about how they were not acknowledged too. It was so strange to go into a restaurant and be met with some passing gazes from the wait staff dropping food off to the tables but the hostess could not be any less welcoming. After being seated by 3 employees at the same time, we were walked to our table without an apology and were told by the waiter he would be back. Great, more waiting! Could have redeemed yourself by offering to get waters or get our drink orders in at the very least but no, not even that. We ended up leaving and spending our money at Cheesecake Factory- because who would want to spend money at a food establishment that can’t acknowledge patrons. Cheesecake Factory was amazing as always I suggest going there instead. I saw the carne asada looked like ground beef anyways.
I was at Tacos and Beer this past weekend. The food was amazing and the service from the staff was honestly great. Everyone was working hard and doing their jobs well, and it showed. What really bothered us though is that we noticed a woman who appeared to be in work attire sitting around the bar eating while all the employees were running around nonstop helping customers. I’m not sure if she was a manager. But if she was it was very unprofessional. We didn’t feel like there was strong leadership or support for the team, regardless if it was busy or not. As a customer, it gave off the impression that the staff were left to handle everything on their own while management relaxed. It’s disappointing because the workers and the food deserve recognition, but management sets the tone for the whole place.
