Servers, Sam and Derek are amazing! Sam instantly made us feel welcome and let us have a splash of a beer that we never tried, before ordering a full pour! We also love visiting Provisions for their variety in the beverage fridge and food options! Everything is always excellent when we come here. Thank you To the staff for always exceeding our expectations! Keep it up!
First time we came on a whim....Chicken Club in Gluten Free Bun with Garlic fries...all delicious. 2nd time here today...at a busier time. Had another great meal and experience again. Will be back when visit the area again.
This is the place! Great food and a great draft selection. Good music and atmosphere fits with the theme of the site. This place is clean and doesn't and looks well taken care of. Staff is freindly, seemingly happy with their jobs and provide excellent customer service. Will gladly come again.
Recommend the pulled pork sandwich and garlic fries. Beer selection is nice.
Ordered the local bleu burger, and it was one of the best burgers I’ve had in awhile at a restaurant!
This eatery was the biggest surprise ever. My wife and I literally stumbled upon this place and found a little piece of heaven. The drinks were great, but the food was next level. They have this lobster sandwich that changed my entire day for the better. Did I mention that the fries are garlic fries? The bacon cheese burger was amazing. The pulled pork sandwich was topped coleslaw and it was great. If you're ever in Temecula, you have to stop at this place. You won't regret it. Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere.
Good food takes time and it was excellent. Limited seating the plase is small. My son took me for a Father's Day lunch. First time I ever heard of a Peanut & (habanero)Jam, Angus Burger -- It was a great treat!
I had a delicious Cuban sandwich with a salad. This place is perfect if you want great food, drinks and service! The employees are awesome here. A place you gotta try. You won't be disappointed. Very casual and relaxed feel. I definitely was impressed and will come back with the family for dinner.
Excellent service, great family place and phenomenol food. The salad was so fresh and the grilled chicken was amazing. They support local which is even better - no lack of beer or wine choices. We had the pretzel for an appetizer the cheese was hot and delicious and the pretzel so fresh and warm (perfect for the cold weather - and they have heaters outside =). We will definitely be back and support them as a business.
Love this place! Great food and great people running it. They have a large selection of canned beer along with wine and beer on tap. Go early or expect a wait as they are very popular on the weekends and around dinner time. They have a small kitchen so be patient.
The whole experience is amazing. From start to end. Love the turkey burger and the pretzel. Heck of an amazing pretzel. Now the one thing I love about it is the iron draft bear which I believe is a limited edition draft and I’m a light weight drinker. That is on another level for light drinkers. Well to finish it I would also recommend the banana cake and the cookies. Red velvet has to be the best one so far. Well they deserve the five start review.
Incredible food! The lobster grilled cheese is spectacular as well as the pulled pork sandwich. Even right down to the coleslaw. Incredible, incredible, incredible. We drive 1.5 hours from Los Angeles to have this. Highly recommend!
The BEST tacos, food, frosted wines, service, presentation, customer service, cleanliness, friendly atmosphere… overall the best Mexican place any where! Tiny but with a GIANT personality! The one person complaining MUST be the competition or ate in San Diego somewhere and is confused. The Local is for Locals! Yes you wait a bit because the demand is big. Good things come to those who wait. The café in the corner and the Daisy place not bad either🙏🏻💕.
The place is small so can be crowded on a hot day, but it's cute. Lobster grilled cheese was delicious!
So cute! Great location. Was a great last minute stop with my husband, we sat on the patio after sunset and enjoyed the atmosphere. I got the buffalo chicken fries, I loved that they used grilled chicken instead of breaded. It is difficult to find buffalo chicken when you are gluten free. They were very busy accommodating a large children’s birthday party, but were very kind and apologetic about the wait, which was not very long.
Amazing place. I’m a local realtor in the area of Temecula and we’re having our client party here in October and I love coming here. My mom and I had garlic fries and the salmon BLTA. Sooo good. The ATI Oso here music and host was great. Weather was amazing too so that helps. Thank you!
It's a cute small restaurant with a homey feel. I had the Brussel sprouts, they were amazing. My friend had pulled pork sandwich and said it was delicious as well. Next door is the cutest craft house we went to before lunch. So much fun!! Debbie Aka Mrs.Claus
Such good food! Had the lobster tacos, lobster grilled cheese, patty melt, and PB&J burger. All of our food was amazing! The garlic fries were so good, and will keep vampires away for the next week 🤣 Portions are perfectly sized.
Hidden gem at Vail Ranch! Cute little place and the best lobster tacos I’ve had! I love the local wines and beer selections. Small inside and busy on the weekends but they serve you quickly and you can grab a table when someone leaves pretty easily.
This small restaurant makes some amazing food! We came in because of the great reviews, and we were not disappointed. Everything is made fresh to order and the staff are so friendly. I really loved the house-made dill ranch with the garlic fries. We will definitely be coming back!
We finally got around to checking out The Local Provisions on a recent Friday night, and am so glad we did! This great place is located in awesome Vail Headquarters where there's always something going on - this evening was "May Market" night with lots of local vendors, food and kids activities, including the cute little Vail HQ train. While there is some indoor seating, it was a beautiful night so we placed our orders and grabbed a table outside. Hubby enjoyed a Pliny the Elder IPA and I had a NZ Sauv Blanc while we waited. I appreciated the extensive menu with something for everyone (including the little ones) - salads, tacos, sandwiches...but we were there for the burgers after hearing such rave reviews. We both opted for their signature Local Provisions burger with garlic fries and omg, they totally lived up to the hype! Huge burger and so incredibly tasty! They were super busy - obviously word is out on this place. Service was great - everyone was so friendly and helpful. We can't wait to return and try the rest of the menu...starting with the PB&J burger which sounds so unique and delish!
Honestly! This place is a must. The area is so cute and comfortable. The food was super tasty and we enjoyed the wine. We will definitely be going back to try out some of the beer and more of the food items. During the day they have multiple little shops surrounding it and seasonal activities for the family and in the evening it's just a totally chill intimate place to sit back and wind down. We were greeted by the friendly staff and owner, service was great and place was super clean. It's nice to find a little gem like this one 💎 Highly recommend
What nice surprise this little restaurant was. It’s very casual, decorated simple, yet inviting. Staff was friendly, food came out hot. We ordered a cheeseburger and a gluten free hamburger (flavorful) with garlic fries that were delicious. We definitely will return to this “local” gem.
Yummy! Carne asada fries and pesto flatbread was amazing! Unique taste and good quality. Friendly service too! You order then find a seat. I’d definitely come again.
The Vail Headquarters already offer an awesome hip/western atmosphere within the heart of Temecula. Located within, is “ The Local Provisions.” We are a family of 5 with kids ranging from 13-18 yrs old. We were pleasantly surprised to find a food offering to make everyone’s stomachs happy! I want to start out by also saying that this place has a hip feel without being uninviting. This place isn’t stuffy. Just great food, great vibes (and great beer).Families and even dogs are welcome!! The great thing is you could sit outside in the patio and take your time eating while your kids play in the grass in the courtyard! My wife had the grilled cheese lobster sandwich and I had the Korean BBQ tacos which were both amazing. It’s going to be a tough choice between the two on our next trip. The meat in my tacos was moist and flavorful and the lobster grilled cheese had an almost soul-food feel. Our kids each picked a different flatbread/pizza and the garlic fry basket was huge! Even then, the five of us happily finished them! What was a surprise was the awesome beer selection. At the back there are numerous coolers stocked with bottles and cans of both local and not-so-local / hard to find craft beers. There were also some beers on tap, some seasonal which was cool to see. I could see this being a place where the experience will be the surprise of “I wonder which cool beer they’ll have this time!” All the while eating tasty food. If you’re a bit of a beer connoisseur, you’ll really enjoy this place as well! While seated, numerous people came in as strangers and ended up conversing around the beer coolers, sharing their personal beer preferences and experiences. Cool atmosphere. (If your a sports fan, they had an NFL Sunday game playing on one of the screens). The owner, Gabe, was very attentive not just to our table, but to everyone who entered. He offered beer suggestions and gave a glimpse of other beers he hopes to add to the selection. Exciting! We can’t recommend this place enough! You’ll love it!
Amazing food, awesome staff, and great place over all! Perfect spot to bring family, friends, or alone to have a drink at the bar. We brought over our company for a special lunch catered for us and it went so well and everyone enjoyed their meals very much! The owner Gabe is a compassionate man who immediately said yes to us and they went out of their way to serve us. We highly recommend the local cheeseburger and garlic fries 20/10!!!
Such a cute atmosphere, good vibes. Nice wine & beer selection. My husband had the local burger and I had the lobster grilled cheese... AMAZING!!!! Definitely going back & definitely recommend!!!
The food and Staff where great, hope to go back and try more things. We had the carne fries, pulled pork sandwich, and the pb&j burger. I was a bit cautious of the fires due to the beer cheese some can be too well beer tasting for me. I know that sounds stupid but, this beer cheese was just right not over powered but a good balance and the meat on the fries was great. Now Pb&j at first on a burger dosent sound good it sound weird, but once I read the discription and that it was a peach habanero jelly on it I was in. I fully thought this could be meh and kind of a gimmick but at least its different. Then it came to the table, I took a bite and kind of laughed a bit and I remember thinking it shouldn't work but it did. Over all it was a great burger cooked the way I asked medium rare. It was a good portion I couldnt finish it all took some home. And best of all it tasted great. Over all what you get for the price I feel is good.
Great area and lobster roll was very good. Got the hazy IPA which was very nice of you like hardier and fuller light beer. Worth the try when in the area.
Temecula’s well hidden Jewel. Back in the corner of Vail Ranch Headquarters is The Local Provisions! I’ve had a server come out to ask if we needed something to drink or eat during a festival event. While we sat on a bench under a tree. 😀 sweet gesture. Best Carne Asada Tacos anywhere! They serve wine among other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Cozy Fun ambiance. Service with a smile. Dog friendly! Prepare to wait for your food.. delicious takes time.
This place is just amazing. Stopped in to avoid the traffic for a bit for dinner. Local draft beer list plus great selection of cans and bottles. Had the carne asada fries with beer cheese and couldn't stop shoveling them down. They nailed a sweet/savory take on this classic. Can't wait to try the lobster grilled cheese next!
Food was great! Cool selection of craft beers! We loved that their garlic fries are shoestring style! Burger patty was top notch!

I was pleasantly surprised by the place. The menu was simple, but the food was very tasty and good portions.
I love the classic cheese burger! Very polite staff!
Had a beer and a great cheeseburger. We ate outside in the stools and we were fine.Lots of families in the area so environment was family oriented..
Bar-like vibe to the restaurant. A bit too small and crowded for how busy it was. The tacos were amazing, but for the price there should have been more than 3.
We stopped in at The Local Provisions and tried a few different things. My daughter had the pulled pork sandwich and gave it 4/5—good flavor but she wished it had more sauce. I had the veggie sandwich on focaccia, which was very flavorful and satisfying, and my son had the blue cheese burger with a side of Brussels sprouts. The burger was solid but could have used more blue cheese to balance the flavors. The Brussels sprouts, though, were the star of the meal—crispy, well-seasoned, and absolutely delicious. For sides, my daughter and I both had the garlic fries. They were fine, but we agreed they could’ve used more salt and definitely more garlic. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the counter-service setup kept things moving even though it was busy. The atmosphere is casual and family-friendly, but that also means it can get pretty loud inside. We would have loved to sit outside, but there weren’t any open tables. The only downside was the price—it ended up being about $80 for the three of us including tip, which felt a little steep for what we ordered. Still, the quality of the food and the overall experience made it worth trying, and we’d come back again (especially for those Brussels sprouts).
Two great gluten-free sandwiches. Enjoy the fries, we loved every bite. We were thankful the Philly cheesesteak was the seasonal special, it was pretty darn close to authentic South Philly with a Temecula twist. Our steak tips sandwich was incredible. Sauced and flavored to perfection, the meat was more on the medium-to-well side for our medium-rare preference.
The food was delicious. The service was good. Was visiting from out of town would highly recommend and would definitely return

Good atmosphere. The food is decent. The service was okay. One person in our party didnt get their food until everyone else was almost done eating.

Cool little spot, enjoyed the outside seating. We ordered the lobster tacos and chips and salsa. The tacos were pretty filling, 3 in an order. Love how they grilled the cheese into the tortilla so it was like a quesadilla taco. Chips and salsa were a no go. If I ever come back I'd like to give the burger a try.

⭐️ 3 out of 5 stars We really wanted to like Local Provisions, but our experience was pretty disappointing overall. First off, seating is very limited, and once we finally found a table, we learned there’s no table service. You have to go up to the counter to order. Right after placing your order, you’re prompted for a tip even though no actual service has been provided yet. If you want water, it’s self-serve from a metal container in the corner. We even had to ask someone to clear a dirty table just so we could sit down. It’s first come, first serve, and honestly a bit of a fiasco. To make things worse, there was a pile of trash by the front door that looked and smelled bad, with flies and mosquitoes everywhere. Not a great first impression. As for the food: • Mahi tacos: excellent flavor, fresh, and easily a 9/10. • Cheeseburger: just okay, maybe a 4/10. The bun and patty were solid, but the limp lettuce and lack of flavor were disappointing. • Carne asada fries: skip them. They were drenched in nacho cheese with barely any carne asada flavor. We took a couple of bites and tossed them. The timing was also off. The tacos came out after 20 minutes, and another 20 minutes later the burger and fries arrived. The one bright spot was the sweet girl who cleared our table and brought our food. She was kind and helpful, and that’s the main reason this isn’t a 2-star review. This valley has so many great dining options, and unfortunately Local Provisions just doesn’t measure up right now. I hope the owners take this feedback seriously, but for now, we won’t be returning.

Bummer to feel compelled to write poor review… Not worth wait. Came for late lunch at 2:15pm with one other person and we waited about an hour for food from the time we ordered at inside counter. Only about 15-20 people total there, plenty of open tables, so not really sure what the issue was, but the bartender did offer us a free drink after it had already been about 40 minutes. Food was fine, just wish we had been given more of a heads up that’s what we were getting ourselves into.
Just had the Buffalo Chicken Fries and I asked if they could make sure the fires aren’t overcooked.. the waitress assured me they would watch out and cook it less. And after waiting 40 minutes for 2 things. The fries were overcooked to the point where the plastic fork couldn’t even go through them. Which sucks cause the chicken pieces were very tasty and juicy. Ended up eating around the fries and tossed them after Waste of $37
I am truly baffled by all of the positive reviews for this place. We came in based on the positive reviews and ended up extremely disappointed. First, the service.....the staff seemed far more interested in socializing with each other than in taking our food orders. I stood near the order point for several minutes while they finished their conversation and a long line formed behind me. There was not even an acknowledgement of me or any other customer while they finished gossiping about their various friends. There were three of us in our party. We all ordered burgers and one came out after a 30 minute wait. The next two were staggered over the next 30 minutes. There was no apology whatsoever or any explanation for the delay. I wish I could say that, although the service was poor, the food made up for it. However, that was far from the case. We were all left wishing that we had gone to Habit Burger or Five Guys instead. The quality at these fast-food establishments is far superior. Our burgers were flavorless and cold. We seriously have had better fries at McDonalds. As a matter of fact, the fries tasted similar to McDonalds fries with some added garlic flavoring sprinkled on them. For $80 for just food, we expected much better, and this is the first and last time we will visit this place.
Do not come here! Spend your hard earned money somewhere elsewhere you will get a healthy portion of the food that you pay for! Ordered the Mediterranean salad and it was a pile of nothing but lettuce with four cucumbers and maybe three tomatoes! Definitely not worth the almost $14 I paid for it. There are too many other amazing places in the area for the same or less than half the price!! The young little Caucasian girl who was at the register, was VERY unfriendly and unpleasant, and the atmosphere was very dead and stiff. Don’t spend your money here!!
