Large amount of good food 😋.

They got the best tortilla and salsa in town! I always get the crispy taco either with chicken or beef! Their salsa bar is loaded with different kinds of salsa and other condiments that will definitely add more spice in your food.

Always great and consistent food. This location actually does the meat on the grill unlike the one in Killeen so the beef is excellent and has a great smoky flavor. The portions are large and the quality is consistent every time I come in. The staff isn’t always the friendliest but they are always attentive and helpful.

It's fast food for a great price, compared to other fast food chains, I found it enjoyable and yummy. Only wish we had one in Michigan. Stay hungry

We love eating inside, but today we went through the drive through. The Chili verde plate is very good- it comes with a taco shell and tortillas. We also get the Taco Tuesday specials. The chocolate and nut cake is great!

I think this place is great except that they always run out of the most amazing breakfast tacos they have-steak and egg tacos. They always run out an hour or 2 before breakfast is even over. I wished they would make more of it since it's in such high demand. I mean, they ARE the most amazing breakfast tacos on the menu! 🤩

This is an awesome place to eat. Large enough for a big groups, yet a wonderful place to bring a friend and have a nice conversation.

The food was good prepared fast and they had Good sized portions.

For Father's day we ordered the family Fajita platter and it was great! Not only was the food hot and fresh but it fed a family of 4 for 2 small meals! I love that they offer military discount as well.

I go here often , the food is good and the salsa bar is awesome. I give them 5 stars. Although last time I asked why it was cheaper. She said I got the senior discount. Our first time here at Rosa's and it was Taco Tuesday. 👍👍👍👍👍 It surprised us and was very good as well as very pleasant. 👍👍👍👍👍 The Atmosphere was very nice and comfortable. We had the Tacos with Beef and chicken so my husband and I could taste both. They were delicious 😋. We will be back. Had the Sopapillas and they were good but a little pale and too greasy. Still ok.

Went about 2pm on a Saturday, one other table was there. It was clean & quiet & the food was delicious. Recommended!

Sorry to say but the Rosa's Cafe here in Temple was much better flavor in the food then Rosa's in Killeen. More flavorful in the meat and Rice. I dont know about the refried beens because I dont eat them. Seasoning in their meat and rice.

Everything here is consistent good, food, service, atmosphere. The managers are pleasant and good at their job. It's not Mama's house but it's good and you can't beat the price for tacos on Tuesday.

Rosa’s 12-09-25 Nice dining room. Friendly staff. Had dinner with my grandson. We did the Taco Tuesday which had the Taco plate on for $6.99 from $10.99. You get 3 Tacos (your choice) with rice and beans. We did soft chicken tacos and soft beef tacos. They are freshly made and served hot. The food was good. They also included some fresh homemade tortillas. My grandson loves mixing the beans and rice together with hot sauce and putting on the fresh tortillas making him a burrito. Great place for some good Mexican food. Will be back

21st century Mexican fast food restaurant. I was amazed of such a large menu. Granted as you walk in and see the menus on the wall and at the counter, I had a hard time making my mind up. All the staff were very friendly and helped me through the routine on what to do. Walk in, place your order, get your cup for drinks and find your table. Time enough to get your condiments and drink and your order is ready for you to pick up. Very, very fast. The decor is Beautiful and put me in the mood to enjoy my lunch. 5 ⭐'s for my meal. The food was good and warm, love the tortillas. Overall it was pretty good even though they put potatoes in the hamburger meat as a filler it was good. Everything looks nice and clean. I don't recommend breakfast, because it was dry and cold. Taco Tuesday!

Rosa's is always a great choice for great food and atmosphere. Awesome choice of salsas, Pico and fresh made tortillas. Plus they have beer. I have never been here and seen it dirty, outside of people leaving their trays on the table. Beef, chicken and pork. No fish or shrimp. Hard to beat this place for a quick lunch or dinner.

Rosa's service is fast. I barely had to wait two minutes for my takeout, fajitas and salad. Their beef is always tender and well-seasoned. The interior of the store is bright and cheerful. There is plenty of parking, and they also have a drive-up. Speedy, great quality food with fresh ingredients.

Been a few times and so far its been great! Food is fast food tex mex style, but it taste good for the price. Yup, i said price because the prices are decent for what you get. Tuesday they have a taco special where you can get 3 tacos and two sides for under 7 bucks. If you're a senior, you pay even less.

We go there every three weeks with a group of 6 to 10 guys. The food is good and maybe some dishes are even great. But, the prices, in my opinion, are way too high. A Mexican Beer is over $5 while you can get it other locations for under $4. The meals, while good, are too expensive also. A simple tostada and a beer was just about $10. Way too much for what you get. But a lot of the guys like it more than I do so we'll keep going.

It was Rosa's so you can't really mess that up. It has more of a fast food chain vibe going on. Food wasn't made fresh to order and it felt a little rushed around lunch. The food how ever was well seasoned and the tortillas are some of the best you can get. Couldn't complain with the #2 being only $6 bucks on Taco Tuesday either. All in all I would go again but not during the lunch rush.

This was my first time here. On the way home from a long drive. 8pm. Hungry. Now the lady at the front taking orders you need to know your menu better. But the food and salsa were some of the best west of temple. The only food complaint I have is on the sopapillas. They were very undercooked. Almost mushy at times and when asked the first time to just let them cook longer the guy argued! You don't argue with a customer?! Just cook them longer.

Food was served fast considering how busy the place was for a lunch rush. Rice and beans weren't very hot. Would not suggest the queso - I've had better nachos at a concessin stand. Service is always nice and people who work there are friendly. Most tables are set up for 4 tops, so it's difficult to get a large group together during lunch. Evenings you could combine tables. They crowd the tables together, so expect to be bumped and jostled a lot. The fresh salsa bar is a nice touch as well as a couple of warm flour tortillas with your plate that can easily become another taco. It seems like they're always remaking the sweet tea, so I don't know why they don't have more made up for the rush. It's a small step up from Taco Cabana but not quite a full service restaurant. Very loud.

The food was ready super quick once ordered. My husband and I are vegetarian and ordered the cheese enchilada plates. We asked if there was meat product in any of the food, and one of the cooks mentioned we can do black beans instead of the charro beans. The rice was okay. The sweet tea was yummy, and there were unlimited refills. Lastly, the enchiladas and tortillas were tasty, though! I would go back again!

First time I've been to Rosa's Cafe. Went in right as the church crowd came in. Long line but went fast. Tortillas where very good an fresh. I'd go back again.

My first visit to Rosa's and in brief it is worth another try. I liked how spacious it is and the service was fast and the staff very friendly and conscientious. The decor is fun, it has a large seating capacity so you expect it might be very busy at times (?) but was not during my visit so lots of room to find a semi-private space. The cost I'd say is reasonable to inexpensive range Of course the food matters and I only tried one thing, the fiesta salad which I ordered without guac. The lettuce was fresh but there was too much cheese for my taste and clumped together in a big snowball. I ordered the chicken version and the chicken had a decent flavor but was very sparse and grisly. It was alright but I would probably not order this specific thing again.

I've always preferred Rosa's over the other fast chains. Better tortillas, good salsa - it just tastes better and fresher than Taco Bell. They also have tamales, something the other chains do not.

Great food! Love the atmosphere here and the food was good with hand made tortillas that you can watch being made. Our food came out quickly and they have a crazy cool help yourself salsa bar. Everything from mild to set your mouth on fire 🔥

First time ever visiting this restaurant. It was a little overwhelming. There was Noone in line and the place was a bit empty. So we were trying to read over the menu to order. The young man at the register kept asking us if we were ready. And we kept saying not yet. He finally stepped away and told another guy in Spanish he was not dealing with this today. The next guy was amazing. Great customer service. Explained to us how everything worked. And even recommended the margaritas. Once that little hiccup was over. We went to find a seat and fill up our drinks. By then our food was ready to pick up at the counter. We ended up moving seats because the decorations above were extremely dusty and there was a spider crawling down his web. The lady who was bussing tables recommended us to sit by the windows. So we did. Overall customer service was great, besides the young man who was impatient with first timers. Food was delicious. Cleanliness of resturaunt needs to have a major dusting and clearing of cobwebs. Despite all that we will for sure return knowing how the ordering goes and to sit by the windows!

The food is okay for fast food. The menu prices themselves are average, but the food is below avg. The total bills are less, when you consider the "no tipping" policy. I do recommend Rosa's for fast Mexican food dining inside, but with the serious caution that even their simplest meal has at least double the US maximum daily recommended amount of sodium. (meaning not healthy for people who have high blood pressure) The refried beens always seem to be a thin and watered down compared to other Mexican restaurants. The enchiladas are also thin having less than half the filling of many other restaurants. On the plus side, there's always plenty of parking. Inside there's a decent condiments bar. Very spacious dining room, great for groups of workers, family reunions, and large family's. Nice atmosphere. Never a wait for a table. You pick up your food when they call your number, usually within a minute or two after you've placed your order. And the tortillas are fresh!

I get it, I went in and ordered 45 before closing… With that being said, service was mediocre, enchilada plate was served on a small cold plate with no garnish, enchiladas were cold and the cheese was solid in the middle, and they didn’t put any meat on our combo nachos. I’ve put my share in the fast food industry, so I understand how everyone feels the last hour of work, but still. Finished my food, left the fast food joint, and wrote this review all before they close in 10 minutes.

The food was ok. The coffee needs work. The decor was nice but just couldn't overcome the fast food vibe of the ordering process. I put in my order and the food was saved before I even made it to a table. It was disappointing because the ratings led me to have high hopes. It does explain why the price was so reasonable.

Came here on a date and it was okay. I loved the atmosphere here a lot, there's so much detail everywhere from the chairs, tables, figures, it was beautiful! We ordered a taco salad each and I don't know if it's just me not knowing how to make the meal but it had very little meat and the meat/beans had VERY little flavor as well. I assumed sour cream and guacamole would with the toppings but they weren't. Not a big deal because I can just go ask for it but for such a common topping I feel they should ask the customer if they would like some. Not trying to sound like I'm being petty because it really wasn't a bad experience, just didn't love the food and would like to suggest a few things.

My family loves Rosa's but for the love of all things holy can yall PLEASE quit making the refried beans so watery/runny!!! It's like bean soup and spills everywhere in takeout orders. Covers my order in "bean soup" and we dont get the beans we paid for because of this. Almost everytime this happens. The cheese in the cheese enchiladas is never melted so if that could be improved...please do! Really wanna continue eating here but please improve this stuff.

We stopped by for an early supper on the way home. We arrived right at 5 pm and there were plenty of tables to choose from, however we had to move twice to find a clean place to eat, and our 3rd choice ended up having a really sticky area on the table...but we already had our food so we just touched it out. The restaurant wasn't openly dirty but it didn't seem all that clean either. The person who took our order wasn't overtly rude, but she was only just cordial enough to have us continue with our order. She was no help at all when we asked for us formation about some of the menu items. My wife ordered the Combo Nachos (#40) and I ordered the Combo Fiesta Salad (#36). The nachos were pretty good, but the salad looked nothing like what the menu portrayed. 85% of the bowl was shredded lettuce (not romaine as the photos indicated), 10% was shredded cheese and sour cream and there were three (3) small pieces of fajita chicken and three (3) small pieces of fajita beef. There was no guacamole as the menu photo indicated nor were there any chips on the side of the bowl as the menu photo indicated. I doctored it up a bit from the condiment bar but the salad was definitely NOT worth $12.49. I was very disappointed. The combo nachos my wife ordered were $6.99 and were a pretty good value. We will have to wait a while until we come back...maybe things will be better, or maybe we will just go somewhere else...

Great atmosphere. My meal was just ok. Had not been here before and the place is busy. Was excited for a great meal. Could have been what I ordered. I had the #9 steak fajitas meal. It was just OK. would recommend this place though. Price was very reasonable.

Lady taking orders was not very friendly. The food was pretty good but what was just awful was the horrific smell coming from the bathrooms and kitchen area. It smelled like something had died and was rotting. I gagged when I went into the women’s bathroom and had to cover my nose. Are they that unclean or do they just not notice it now?!? It was reminiscent of a dead rodent I experienced years ago. Disgusting.

10/26/25 I'm downgrading from 4 stars to 2. Rosas has gotten skimpy on the food. My sister paid for extra meat and cheese on her taco salad and got a heap of lettuce with a little bit of meat and a little shredded cheese. Also my nachos only had cheese on half the nachos. Why would I want a bunch of dry chips with barely any queso on it? SMH. I like Rosa's a lot. My husband and I love their soft beef tacos from taco Tuesdays. They are delicious! Also their combination nachos are the bomb! We usually add extra meat and cheese. We also buy sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast tacos at least twice a week. They are good as well. If you haven't tried Rosa's, you're missing out! Oh and I almost forgot, we love their queso. I joke all the time how we could buy two large quesos and just cook ground beef at the house to short cut making it ourselves 🤣

I ordered the smothered burrito, but when I asked the cashier what was in it she gave me the wrong info. The place was not too crowded, but there was a lot of noise. It's good that the numbers are on a screen on the wall, because we never would have heard them. The food was mediocre, on par with Taco Bell. The chili tasted like it came from a can, the rice was dry and lukewarm, and the queso was made from fake orange cheese. It's expensive for the price and portion size. It's fast and the sweet tea was good, though.

First time coming at this location since my hotel is across the street and needed something to eat for work during this winter storm. Food came out quick and the staff were nice and attentive despite the weather. Just disappointed that I found what looks like a staple or metal wire in either my beans or rice while I was mixing them together. Usually I try not to give negative reviews, but hopefully the staff will be more careful. Would hate to see customers not pay attention to what they’re eating and take a trip to the ER. :/

Fajitas very good but skip breakfast. Other locations decent but this one is horrible. Over 3 years, I keep trying but nope. Migas taco, too many jalapeños and eggs disgusting goo, not enough corn chips. Potato egg taco, potatoes never cooked correctly. Bacon egg taco, don’t get me started. This time, they didn’t drain the bacon grease at all. It’s like a big gelatinous mess. I once questioned the manager, why is the coffee so horrible and strong. It’s like they doubled up on the coffee grinds and they just said that’s how we make it here, no apology, no nothing. Maybe they should start cleaning the machine. At least they finally got some employees that smile when they greet you. I guess management has to be robots when you have food this bad. Update: 2025 - every now and then I just want to come back in to see if things got better for breakfast, nope. I don’t know how they can make eggs taste so bad. Maybe drain the grease out of the eggs or don’t make the eggs taste like some kind of gelatinous mess.

Death by Cumin; the spice to hide all spices. Greasy 🫔 tamales. Boiled fajita meat. Kitchen sink Spanish rice. Everything tasted like the one spice. I don't know why Rosa's has completely changed their food but I don't like it. $25 for a fajita plate with a tamale on the side?! That's with no drink! No thank you. Never again. (Apparently I'm not the only one. Place was almost empty at lunch)

The food tastes like warmed up leftovers. The food was unevenly warmed, not fresh and hot. For just under $25 for two plates and two drinks that was pretty disappointing. It's a fast food place with the seating of a sit down restaurant. It has a drive through. The area was really noisy and we couldn't hear what the lady was saying when she took our order or when they were calling our number out. Thankfully they had a screen with the numbers on it so we could see when it was ready. Recommendation: Not worth the heartburn. Skip this place and pocket some cash by going to Taco Bell.

First off anyone leaving a great food and service review was just probably impressed with the size and was there first time. I have made several attempts to like this place. Everytime it's the same this is NOT MEXICAN FOOD it's tex mex and horrible Tex Mex at that. The food is guaranteed to be bland meet especially fajitas are old everytime and the portions are super skimpy. For the price it makes it worse 2 tacos with 2 small not medium but small size pieces of meat for beef very little beans and rice. If I could guess about half a serving spoon size $17.47 yes for one plate. Customer service is all but horrible unless you have that I tip good look be prepared to have to ask or self serve. This place absolutely sucks and tries hard to seem up scale fastfood. I have tried it several times at different times of the year and hours it is always the same. Tried different dishes and really hoped it was different since it is so close to home but no can do.

I came in Friday night on 7/5/2024 around 8pm and had the worst experience with the employee on the line wearing a black shirt with her hair in a bun. I had originally ordered a fajita salad with Romain Lettuce and beans, without the shell. But they gave me a fajita salad with the shell and iceberg. I went back to the counter to let the employee wearing a black shirt know and she got upset and through my food away with an attitude, then asked me what i ordered, and i told her i wanted beans and Romain without the shell, then she remade the salad without the beans and tried to give me the beans on the side in a 4oz cup but that was not how i ordered it, then i told her to remake it and she got upset, walked back to the back and did not make the salad. Then we started arguing back and forth in front of other customers because she did not want to remake the salad then called me a coke head in Spanish. Then the other employee who was on my line remade my salad with beans and gave me alittle extra meet for dealing with her and apologized for her behavior. Then i told him I’m sorry you have to work with team leads like that because that was not okay. She was rude and called me a coke head in Spanish out loud and i heard her. This is completely unacceptable. I’ve informed the manager this morning and called corporate and left a voice mail. Rosa’s cafe should not have employees like this who treat their customers badly and called me a coke head. UNACCEPTABLE, she should be terminated.

Sloppy attitude sloppy service no product! This place is going downhill! Why do you have stuff on the menu if you don't have it! Employees have an attitude like they're forced to be there they make you feel guilty because they have to take your order!

Had a messed up order and while the first manager I spoke to was decent the other manager and every other employee was rude and clearly hate their jobs. This tiny queso is $5 and gross. Will not be back and HIGHLY recommend you go literally anywhere else.

For almost $6.00 a taco, to get 2 pieces of meat in your taco is really crazy. I don’t mind paying for food but don’t take advantage of folks especially when your clientele is a lot of seniors.

Never been. Went this evening for the first time. No one greeted us, no one offered to help us, we had no clue on what to do. A customer actually helped us on what to do. You order at the front, pay for chips and salsa, and if you want more ypu pay more, you do not get your chips in salsa.Until your food is ready, you then make your way to the counter.When your number comes up on a tv screen and get your own food.

Food was warm not freshly cooked hot. For as fancy as the place is and how much it cost the food was just plain ol’okay. Kinda bummed. I wouldn’t recommend this place. If your white you’ll love it. But far from authentic, the taco truck next to Taco Bell in temple is way better and cheaper. I tried to find positive but hey everyplace can’t be five stars.

This place was unfortunately not pleasant. The fajitas were rare, the restaurant had about 6 tables empty with the dirty dishes still there. Mind you, there was only 3 customers present at the time. The tortillas and food were cold. It was just a horrible experience. I definitely won't be going back. Plus I paid $30 for a plate of fajitas with chips and queso. Never again

Upon arriving at the restaurant, I entered and immediately noticed a cashier behind the counter tending to personal hygiene, which was not an ideal first impression. There were staff members in the back preparing food; however, no one acknowledged or greeted me upon entry. As this was my first visit—and my first time in the area—I approached the counter to ask how ordering worked. The cashier explained the process, including that orders are called by number. Once our number was called, we picked up our food. Overall, both my partner and I rated the meal an 1.5 out of 5. While the food was not unpleasant, it did not meet our expectations, especially as frequent diners of Mexican cuisine. The standout element was the tortillas; if they were homemade, they had a pleasant texture and flavor. However, the overall meal lacked the depth and balance we anticipated.

Service was great, but the food was lacking in a lot of ways. I got the burrito with guacamole and chicken and it was very unpleasing. I could have made that at home for hell of lot cheaper. The chicken looked just like what you can get at HEB same taste if not better. Also I wouldn’t call that a burrito in no shape or form. It was literally tortilla, chicken and guacamole sounds like a soft taco to me. Most burritos from authentic Mexican restaurants serve it with beans or some type of filler. Won’t be coming back anytime soon. Rather go to free birds they make an awesome burrito and they are not a Mexican restaurant.

I typically love coming to Rosas but today's food was not the best. I got the 3 taco plate, and the meat had no seasoning whatsoever. The rice was good, BUT there was a large piece of cling wrap in my rice 😵‍💫 wont be back

My tacos were literally slapped together… the random clumps of cheese & lettuce??? Chips for the Guac had no flavor, not to mention when I bit into the taco it was COLD although I had just ordered it & got it at the drive thru… 0/10 would only recommend if it’s the only thing open & you were starving.
