This used to be a great place to eat, good, fast and convenient. Condition of the restaurant has degraded with worn seating and wall paper peeling. Food has struggled due to poor planning/logistics. They're out of the most popular chips, came by at 5pm and was informed they had no jalapeño cheese bread with 4 hours left prior to closing. There are other examples but I think you get the picture. In the meantime time the staff are doing their best to accommodate and pass their apologies.with sincerity which is greatly appreciated. It's saddening that such a well appreciated option to eat in Temple is starting to go downhill due to poor forward thinking and planning.

A great place to get a variety of sandwiches 😁. Hardly no wait time when I was there. Friendly staff and good service. Only problem 🤪 that I noticed was sitting area was very dirty. Needs to clean up the area where people sit and eat.update: February 17, '22, As great as can be, service excellent, everything was very clean including the bathrooms.plus all military and first responders get 50% off.✅ Update: April 23, '22. Was a very nice afternoon at Schlotzskys. Very few customers were dining in. Staff very friendly. Floors and bathrooms nice and clean. Fast service. 👍 Update: February 10, 2023. Had to make a quick stop for a sandwich. In quick, fast service and staff very friendly today. Men's bathroom dirty, needs some care. Update: April 22,20203. Slow time. Got inc, ordered. Very quick. Sad, since nobody there -- floors dirty, trash cans full but nobody was there for cleaning. They just was all taking a break. The food was outstanding 👍🌟 Update: 7 July,2023. All is much better this time. Floors, bathrooms very clean . Laughter, and fun to be there. Staff very friendly. Food was excellent 👍👍01 October, 23. Had a busy day, decided to pick up a few originals. Decided to go in and wow. All clean along with a very happy staff. No waiting, sandwiches were ready. Fantastic sandwiches 👍👍 Update: 23 Jan, 2024. So sad to be here today. Beware of the drive thru. Speaker not working. So t sent inside. Note: no sodas, only tea. Also out of f stock of certain chips. Saw many patrons turn around and leave. Bad day for Schlotzsky's. Update: 18 April, 2024. Went to have a quick lunch. Am very happy. All menu items were available. Meaning the Sandwich Shop was well supplied. 👍👍 Breaking from the problems from the past. 👍👍. Update: 30 September, 2024. Always a nice place to go and enjoy a good sandwich. Food is good but at times they run out of different sides that you would enjoy. Most of the time you will receive good service, make sure you get what you order. Update: 17 December, 2024. Decided to stop for a quick bite. Craving a Bacon Beefy Cheesy Sandwich. Mmmmm good. Everything ok today, service was excellent, tables and floors clean and bathrooms were also clean. 👍👍's. Update: 4 April, 2025. Very speedy experience going thru the drive thru. Food was ready by the time I got to the window. A very pleasant experience.

Got a large turkey bacon club from the drive thru today about 3pm. The service is within the top 5 rudest encounters I've ever had at a restaurant. I was ordering the sandwich to eat later, so I asked if they could separate the bread from the meat and cheese in different containers. Her first response was "Excuse me..what are you talking about?" which in and of itself was forward to say the least. I then explained it to her again and was met with the same annoyed tone until she finally said "...I guess". Whenever she closed the window she had some additional comments about the order to her coworkers. The overall atmosphere was just that I was bothering them. Later, the cook came out and asked if I wanted the bread cut...to which I replied but that led me to believe there was still some confusion in the kitchen. When I did get my order, they still melted the cheese and bacon onto the bread and packaged that together, which is exactly what I asked them to prevent. I also did not get my pickle spear or special sauce...I don't mind the issues with the food, but the forward and rude behavior of the cashier was unacceptable. It really was not an insanely complicated request, but I would have been happy to explain further if they would have just asked instead of guessing

I walked in and the manager and another employee just stood there and stared at me, talking to each other, while the cashier had to walk from across the restaurant to ask "can I help you?" "Yes, please. Pick up order for elisabeth." Another lady walked the bag over to me, I needed a cup carrier and again manager and other employee just stood there while the cashier had to squish herself passed them to get it. "Thank you very much." Took my to go bag back to eat it at my work desk to find the chicken is just sliced sandwich meat? There's maybe four strawberries and not enough dressing. And no fork despite me asking if there was utensils inside. Disappointing way to waste $20. The tea is good though.

I ordered a "Giant" size Original sandwich 🥪 after taking my 1st bite I knew something tasted different... No olives!!! It's literally not an "Original" without olives!!!!!! So, I paid $20💸for a sandwich that I couldn't even eat!! When I called the restaurant, the manager told me they ran out of olives and they wouldn't have any until Wednesday!! And that if I was looking for a free 🆓 sandwich it wouldn't be until Wednesday. She was soo rude and offered no solution. She made me feel as if I was bothering her and I was an inconvenience for her... 🥺🫤😞 I told her to have a good night and I would no longer be ordering from there ever again, and she hung up on me. Maybe corporate can make this right for me 🤷🏼cuz I really do enjoy Schlotzsky's 😋🥹

The giant beef bacon cheesy is not worth $13.00. It’s disappointing to pay for something that is false advertisement.

Not sure what is going on the last 3years at this location always looks like a tornado hit inside trash all over the floor 6 workers or more and no one will sweep or clean up floor or tables very disappointed Also today went and order food ask for a tea and they gave it to me with out ice needs new management and needs to train everyone and have the place clean when customers are inside looks very nasty Can’t even get my order correct with 6 employees working always a issue Very disappointing

Ordered online, 4 regular and one gluten free pizza. Paid $2.59 extra for the gluten free crust. Due to a food allergy, I can not eat the regular crust. Picked up the order, drove 15 miles home and found that they all looked exactly the same. None of them said gluten free. We called to ask about it and the employee went to check on it, after a bit on hold, the employee said that they did not have gluten free crust and tried to end the call. We explained that one of our family members now did not have dinner, they offered a partial refund on that pizza. We asked to speak with the manager and he did apologize and said we would receive a refund for that pizza. Hopefully that includes the upcharge for the gluten free. It's very concerning that they would receive an order for an allergy sensitive item and just hand out a regular one with no concern for safety. I wouldn't risk going there again.

Don't go through the drive through and get food . Your getting other people's rejections. Food that was made wrong, they take that food and say they will remake it, and won't be done the way you ask for it to be done. So know this they don't throw it away, they wait for next customer to come through the drive inn and serve that food to you. Food that has been touched and gone through. I know I saw this happen for my self and I couldn't believe it. But I saw it with my own eyes. And what's messed up is the girl in the drive though said that the manager instructed her to do so. Not good 😐 I know if you have to have a schlotzsky's sandwich go to Belton tx .they don't let this happen to their customers. They care. Beware of Temple Texas schlotzsky's

There was hardly anything on the sandwich. It’s the original it only had one piece of meat on it three olives. hardly any cheese I was disappointed. I used to go there all the time I won’t be going there anymore.

Where to begin... First we waited for about 3-5 min for the help to acknowledge us. Second, we wanted to dine in, they packed our stuff to go. Third, they skipped the meat on a #6, you know the menu, then you know. Fourth, the manager threw attitude at at a customer that was behind us 😒 she also waited for 3-5 min before she was greeted. Lastly, the health violations, a young lady was working the receiving spot on the line with no hat, no hair net, fake lashes, attitude 😑 and the vibe is just "yuck", no ice in the lobby machines yet this worker tries the machine and goes to the back to get himself ice, the sweetea is still sitting on the brewing station with empty counter jugs, the main line worker can not leave his phone alone, yes he's wearing gloves when handling food but he's in plain view, and we have been here for 45 minutes and NO one has washed their hands. Overall, I would say go in with 'rock bottom' expectations and you won't be disappointed. Smh.
