I was about get on the road to head back to Dallas, and decided to stop at Popeyes. I’m glad I did, because I was greeted by Nickie Nash. She was warm and inviting. Made sure we got what we wanted. She was kind and courteous. Our food was hot and fresh. I completely appreciate her and this experience. Oh and side note the restrooms was also clean. Nickie please continue doing what you do. You are appreciated.
Ordered online and there were some things that they did not carry that I ordered. The manager quickly got everything handled. And pleasantly. The line was so long that we went in to pick up our order and everyone of the staff members were very polite and kind. It’s been a long time since we have gotten customer service that was this good from anywhere. Thank you guys!!!!
First Time I Had Been To Popeyes in Texarkana, Or For A Long Time. They We're So Busy. I Ordered 2, 2 Piece Dinner's. Everything was So Fresh, And Hot. I Got It To Go, And I Went Inside To Order. The Drive Thru Was Backed Up To The Front Door. For How Busy They We're The Tables We're Clean, Floor Had Just Been Swept. Drink Area Was Clean. Was Very Pleased with Appearance. The Customer Was So Friendly And Nice. Very Professional. There Was Also A Line Inside. Very Busy. The Temperature Of Our Food By The Time I Drove Home, Was Like I Just Cooked It At Home. Very Fresh, Hot And Delicious.
We're in town working nights. Got off work STARVING!!! There were alot of us waiting for them to open and they did not disappoint. Food was fresh and the ladies at the counter were prompt and professional. Ms. Labritne and her crew Were very courteous and had a good sense of humor. Made our day! Sometimes we're quick to judge people without thinking if they're having a rough day or even mourning the loss of a loved one. I came with my friends here. We loved the food here. My friends had ordered meal of the day and I ordered Oreo cake. I asked for a small fries and the lady gave me it to me and she didn't charge anything for that. I am really touched by her kindness.♥️♥️✌️✌️✌️
Tommy & Freddy were working twice as hard getting the food out as workers didn’t show up today. Wish they had a tip jar as they deserved it!! We are out of town but will stop again if we come through here.
I have never met the friendliest people in my life, as I did there.. they are working in the trenches of hells kitchen everyone of them had a smile on their face. I don't know how they did it at 100° in there, the owners should be ashamed they make their employees suffer like that..I hope they know we appreciate the hard work they do and we enjoyed our meal. We were on vacation and decided to give it a try!.
My son really enjoys the classic chicken sandwiches, and my daughter enjoys the chicken strips. My wife likes the spicy fried chicken, and I like the popcorn shrimp. So this works for a meal for our family. Their ghost pepper wings were really good too. Their service is very very slow, even if you order online before you get there.
I ordered online and also when I got there. Online, I ordered 6 chicken sandwiches and got a free two piece spicy (two thighs). They did not have a option for a kid meal on the app so had to order a kids meal in store and I was thirsty so ordered the drink. The young woman who took my order was very good she looked like she was having a rough day and I kind of understood that since they were busy. She made sure everything was in the bag made sure that it was done properly. Some of the younger males kind of made the atmosphere unlikable. They kept complaining about 6 sandwiches and kept pointing out I was the one who ordered it, as well as giving me side glances. The food was amazing, the young woman was amazing, but some of the employees were not so great.
I had a really good experience here! The manager oh wow!! Kudos to her… she was in the lobby area and wanted to make sure everyone was good… she also adjusted the air because it was freezing.. Thank you ma’am. It was clean, and the food came out fast!! Just passing through, but it was a great experience!
Staff are friendly made a great recommendation saved me money. Food was fresh and excellent. My Service Dog will agree. Pleasant woman helped me despose of my trash.
The gentleman at the window was AWESOME! I had the 1/4 lb popcorn shrimp meal with fries, everything was hot & fresh! Hubby had a spicy classic & red beans & rice (he loved it!) did not disappoint. Biscuits YUM! I normally add pics but we ate it so fast there was nothing left to take a picture of! Good fountain pop.
Whatta lovely staff and welcoming lady at the register ! For a moment I felt like I was at a roof top high end restaurant! Never been asked at a fast food chain on how’s the food ? Do you need anything? Is everything going alright? That lady made me believe that she does love what she’s doing

Today my experience at Popeyes was the best I have ever had! From the Manger to the employees. When I say they worked as a team I loved it food was fresh didn’t have to wait long. Even the young man in drive thru was helping! I would come back of all the ppl that worked today work everyday!!!! They are the best !!!

I didn’t get to experience the food due to a mix up with my order but I would like to acknowledge your General Manager Quinn, she handled the situation with patience, knowledge and kindness. I was very frustrated with the no-refund policy but I can see why she is in leadership. She took her time to explain and resolve the issue. I genuinely believe that those type of policies put the employees and leadership in a bad position but I am still grateful for her help. Thanks again Quinn….
Everyone smiled, greeted us and was super nice. We order 2 classic sandwiches and 2 Bacon and Cheese Classic sandwiches. As we pulled out of the parking lot, we noticed one of the Bacon and Cheese sandwiches had everything on it except the chicken. We turned around and went inside to share our dilemma. The manager was super nice, apologized and had a completely new sandwich made for us. Both men behind the counter were super nice and apologized for the mistake also. Thank you guys for correcting the problem with a great attitude! The sandwiches were also great!!

Went in for a late lunch. I had the popcorn shrimp, and my wife had the tenders. The food was excellent, the side I had was the red beans and rice, the wife had coleslaw. The regional manager was there and we spoke to her. The store was clean, and the staff was helpful and friendly, as well as professional.

The food was good, but shrinkflation was real. For a $10 combo, the six piece boneless wing combo and Cajun fries were unbelievably small, especially when compared to other fast food joints.
This was the best overall Popeyes I've ever been to. I had the 5 piece tender combo. While the meat was under seasoned, everything else was perfect. The biscuit was fluffy and the fries were crispy. Service was excellent. Very friendly and welcoming. 9/10.
The spicy chicken sandwich was very good. The staff is very slow and are not happy people. Got my meal to go, glad I didn't stay. Several other people have told me that their experience with this Popeyes was as bad. 5 star sandwich, 1 star service. I won't be returning.

Can't speak through the drive thru mic to make an order! About 4 cars in front of me everybody made orders at the window! I pulled up to the window to make my order! No cash just cards to pay for your food! Okay the chicken was fresh & hot. That's ok some sides were only available! The workers there had beautiful attitudes! Thank you & I will come back!🙋
Service is not bad, and the employees aren't rude for the most part. The 1 flaw crippling this place is a lack of urgency. It's supposed to be fast food, not 45-minute food. I've never waited less than 30 minutes for my food here. Other than that nice people, great food.

The food is excellent, but the ppl who work there are the worst. They’re constantly forgetting things, making you wait at the order sign for up to 20 minutes to get their time down, never have anything ready so you’re always waiting another 20 minutes, randomly decide to tell you that something is a ‘rule’ whenever they decide they no longer want to do it (like asking for breast instead of thigh) but isn’t really a thing because things like this are completely arbitrary to them and they just use the ‘rule’ excuse whenever they want to not do something (to be perfectly clear, they’re not out of anything & there is no ‘rule’). This has gone one forever as there is no other Popeye’s anywhere near within a reasonable driving distance. Also, this is what you can expect during their slower hours. Their busy time is WAY worse. 😭
This location has to be one of the worst Popeye's out there. There has not been a time in the past where I received any great service. And half the time they are out of spicy chicken. And the food seems cold half the time as well. Only on a few occasions have I had good customer service when inside. And through drive thru only one time was it ever professional. I realize that minimum wage is hard to live on now but no matter the job be respectful to the public and be professional. And make sure the quality of food is up to your restaurant's expectations.
When I bought 12 tenders for $12..... half the tenders were broken pieces, do a half or 1/3 tenders broken into was counted. Yes I had 12 pieces 6 regular length and 3 tenders broken in half to make 12
Long wait time in the drive thru with only a few cars in the parking lot. The young lady working the drive thru window customer service was terrible. Long wait time once I got to the window as well. No apologies for the long wait time or anything. I sat at the window for approx 10 to 15 mins as I watched her put food in her mouth as I waited for my order. SMH
They pulled me up from the drive through because the shrimp would take longer. Then they came out 7 minutes later and asked me to pull up further. Then 8 minutes later I went inside and asked about my shrimp...... 'What shrimp?" They asked. I had to go get my receipt and wait another 10 minutes then all the chicken was cold when I got home. The beans and rice was delicious though.
I ordered something they didn't even bother repeating. Get to the window like the order is wrong. Told to drive around and had to make sure they get the rest right. The lemonade was from the machine and was awful. Got the desert biscuit and you would think out of icing. The chicken sandwich was not good tasting and even thought they gave the wrong one.
The food wasn't to bad but the staff was awful ... One guys yelling at a manager who was on break about another employee. Then when I went to the counter to ask for honey (we bought a 4 pk of biscuits) the manager working the counter gave me 2 packets, so I asked if I could have a few more. She went and picked up 2 more packets and took them to the girl working drive thru and said "here give these to that white girl"...
The food is always good but the service sux. They don’t fix any of their stuff and can’t handle lunch rushes like at all. Don’t show up around 6 cause you’ll be here for hours trying to order and get your food. And they are always out of something whether it be honey red beans and rice or another side. Love Popeyes but unfortunately this is the closest and about the only Popeyes in the area 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
Ordered a #2 combo with fries, thigh and breast. They gave me 2 legs. Should have went back, but I was halfway down the highway. Not good. The cashier was nice, iyana, but the dude who fixed my order was too concerned about my pepper. Never had this problem before. I passed 45 chicken shacks to get to you.
The workers were fighting when I went inside to pickup my order for my son. One told the other " quit giving away product". Didn't sit well with me. Paying this much for food you expect better service, and they forgot my fries. Will not be going back.
The food is good. This place gets 1 star for their STAFF. Always always rude. Never answer the drive thru. Talk to you like your a piece of trash for ordering their food. The staff is a disgrace to the name and reputation of any Popeyes Chicken. Used to eat here not anymore. And NEVER have any desserts or chicken or sides. Why even be in business??? It has been a couple of years since I've been in a Popeye's on state line, But the manager is so rude and disrespectful. This young lady needs Management training. This location will lose a lot of business letting her run the store she's on her cell phone running the cash register not greeting customers as they come and go do not ask if you did to go or dine in she just assumed you're getting it to go.
Two days in a row that I visit this Popeyes chicken and could not get an order of shrimp. The cook basically told the cashier do use those that was up on the thing, and I asked for fresh ones that to be cooked right then did not happen very unhappy. Customer never will return to this Popeyes chicken ever again spend my money somewhere else and you only got that one star big so I could write this review you don’t deserve any stars
Loud talking and singing not paying attention to customers at counter. Stood there at least 4 minutes and no one said anything to me. Finally manger stop talking to other manager and asked what i needed. No smile no pleasantries spoken .They are always out of honey but had plenty flies flying around. Customer service never changes always Trash.
Ordered a chicken sandwich....meat bread only. Waited 10 mins on fresh hot sandwich to go. Got home opened up sandwich....pickles and mayo when I specifically asked for meat/bread no mayo pickle. Just wasted my hard earned money. Popeye's yall are truly sad.
Excellent food, but they're frequently out of things. They're drive through only - the inside of the restaurant is closed. The drive-thru is always really long, plus the speaker is broken or something, so you can't order till you get to the window, making the wait super long. It's always a hot mess.
Ordered two chicken sandwiches and two 2-piece meals ahead in their app. Waited 30 minutes in line. Was missing an entire sandwich and fries, and they gave us all tiny wings for our 2-piece chickens. Had to get back in line where we waited 30 minutes on our missing items. They are slow and the food needs to be consistent. If I order a 2-piece breast and wing, it should have a breast in it.
I ordered my food on uber eats. I spent $70 on on a 16 piece family meal and only got 12 pieces and 1 side!!!!!! No biscuits or anything. I tried calling and the phone was busy all day long! I want a refund!
I ordered a 3 wing combo and the girl in the window put 2 thighs and a breast in my box. If you ran out of wings just say that instead of throwing whatever you feel like in the box. I expect to get what I asked and paid for. You all need to do better because this terrible customer service is getting tired. Train your employees better and at least act like you care about doing your job the right way.
On our trip we witnessed an employee being scolded about her attitude. I do not feel this an appropriate thing to happen in public. This store needs better management training. I am that she wouldn't like to be treated that way herself.The food was great except small portions
Went thru the drive thru placed an order for 16 pc family meal spicy with 6 legs and 2 breast with the other pieces divided 4 and 4, got fries and beans and rice for the sides. I asked for fresh chicken hot out of the grease, I was assured the chicken was just up. When I got home and opened my box. The chicken was not hot and not spicy and the pieces were not what I ordered. The beans and rice was room temp and the fries were only enough for 1. I spent 50 dollars on that order, so I will not be going there again.
went through the drive through and was the first person there. we ordered a big meal, but they tried to charge us for 5 sauces but didn’t give it to us.they tried to charge us for 2 drinks and didn’t give it to us. asked for a oreo cheesecake and didn’t give it to us. we waiting at least 30 minutes. they were just on their phones, not taking orders or making the food. if i could give 0 stars i would. DO NOT COME HERE.

While traveling from Texas we stopped here for a quick meal. The food was tasteless and the woman at the window was extremely rude. We asked for regular tenders for my daughter but instead we got spicy. Don't waste your time coming here. From the other reviews I can tell management has not fix these constant issues.
The staff was very friendly, what they were of them. The dining room was nasty. Most stuff we went in there to order they were out of. What foods they did have was fresh and hot. Don't know if there was a manager there you could not tell by the look of the restaurant or they had no pride in their job or the presentation to the customers. big topic all across the world today is diversity I think they could have used a little more diverse staffing.
Orderd 5 piece chicken strips. Spicy. No dipping sauce. Acted like they had to go out of there way to get me some. Got to where I was going and had only 3 peice chicken strips. I had a bad experience years ago. Thought they might of gotten better. Shoulda knew better.
Just about daily, the drive thru will be backed out to the road. Not bc they are busy serving customers but bc they decide when and if they feel like answering the speaker. They also frequently tape a sign to the speaker saying cash only. Employees and managers are rude. I sat in line with 6 other cars tonight and none of us were ever answered on the speaker of the drive thru. Reported to corporate multiple times so owner apparently doesn’t care that they are loosing hundreds if not thousands of dollars. So done and will never go back!
This is the WORST Popeye's I have ever been to. Immediately upon walking in, the woman up front ignored our party of 8 (mostly kids) for 15 mins. She greeted other customers with a smile and was joking around with employees. When she turned around to take our order, she Immediately had an attitude & when I didn't hear her ask what side, (I thought she said "What size?") She continued taking my order with an attitude and was not putting any of it into the register, just yelling at the back what I was ordering. Then in the middle of me ordering, she proceeded to literally WALK AWAY, straight to the back of the store. I stood there for a few minutes, then walked out. I should have left when I greeted her with kindness but she was rude. This experience made me not want to go to another Popeye's again. 0 Stars.
To began... A Popeye's without their infamous Chicken sandwiches is like Xmas with no reindeer!! Well they had NONE, Then their lobby's are super tiny!! AND IT TOOK US 23 MINS BEFORE WE EVER PLACED OUR ORDER......On Top of that... Red bns &rice seemed like my best option,.. It was watered down. HUGE disappointment!! Get it together TK!!!
I stopped at the one in Texarkana, Ar and ordered $30 worth of wings in the drive thru. After paying for my food I asked the guy at the window to add ONE biscuit to my order, he went to the manager and was told I could not order anything else at the window. Are you kidding me? They could have simply added the biscuit to the order even though I was willing to pay for it. I contacted corporate only to be offered a $5 coupon!! This restaurant is poorly ran, unprofessional staff, long wait times, often out of chicken and it does not matter what day of week or what time of day....same lackluster and blatant disrespect to customers.
They try to discourage people of one race from eating here. They only do what I’m about to describe to that one race. First they won’t greet you. You’ll have to pull up to the window to be acknowledged. Then, after you just saw someone else order at the speaker, they’ll say it’s broken. Whatever you order first, they’ll be out of. Doesn’t matter what it is. Next they’ll overcharge you noticeably but not significantly by adding something to the order that you didn’t ask for and won’t get. You’ll wait more than an hour and then your order will be missing most of its food when you get it. During that time you’ll see a dozen people go through — many with visibly much larger orders but none of the one race that they won’t serve here. It’s not that they’re understaffed. You’ll see eight people standing around talking while you’re at the window and that’s only the ones at the front. This isn’t a this-location-problem. It’s a Pooeyes problem in Louisiana and Arkansas at the very least. I haven’t named the race they won’t service. But you already know who it is because you know this is all true.
Was told i would have to wait on chicken that was fine, went 1.5 before they closed, sat in parking lot waiting on food, they cut outside lights off on me, while waiting, then when they do bring food guy says they thru your biscuits away and were not making anymore. And walked away🤣 I was so lit. Order Was wrong and they had everything cut off heading home. So no way to get anything right or refund. Never going back. They are sorry.
Went there for lunch, stood at the counter waiting, and waiting, and waiting....I was the only one there. The girl just stood there on her phone, didn't say a word to me or acknowledged I was even there....I walked out. Never again
Food was good but it took 20+ minutes for them to even start making our food. Since we had been waiting for so long we decided to get our food to go and the manager got pissed when we asked for him to bag up our food like it’s not his job to literally bag up food. Food was great, service on the other hand was horrible.
I ordered 2 2 pieces one regular and one spicy with fries. When me and my wife got home all we had was 2 2 pieces with no fries. The chicken wasn't even spicy it had no seasoning. When I tried to call the phone was busy and it kept being busy.
I love Popeyes. Stop at Popeyes eveytime I go to Shreveport. They pup a full chicken breast on every sandwich. My wife and I decided to go to the one on Stateline yesterday and was very disappointed. It took forever to get my order. Then after we got our sandwichs we found one sandwich had one piece of chicken and the other had two small pieces. They took one chicken breast and made two sandwiches. Well I will still stop at the one in Shreveport but never again to the one in Texarkana. They deserve to lose their franchise. Don't waste your money at this store
The crew on 11/11 that worked @7pm was happy to provide the worst Popeyes experience I’ve ever had. After waiting 41 minutes for a $20 meal, once handed the bag I double checked on the ranch and the guy said he just put two In The bag….. there was no ranch in the bag. I’m glad they at least had a sense of humor about it whenever I walked in after going through the drive through, one guy said, “we need to start their order, they were before everyone I ain’t gonna lie.”

I'll stop at popeyes to order the $6:99 big box meal. I placed my order. And I began to wait for it. They told me my order was ready. But then I look in the box. It was all wrong, I tried to explain to the guy behind the counter. But right off the top, he got an attitude and tried to tell me what goes in the big box I guess he forgot it says dark meat , not white. I didn't order that's, It was a breast and wing, it had to be someone else's order. That's what I thought. It's supposed to be a drumstick and a thigh. So he turned and began to make me a new one order. And then, surprise, it's still what's wrong. Then he gave me a drumstick and a breast. So that told me that he didn't know the different parts of the chicken or or they did not train him well. My advice is. Please check your food before you leave. They do not know the parts of the chicken.
I don't know who own or running this place just like kfc yall are out of here i will not use get chicken from popeyes again this place gone down I'll rather eat chicken nuggets from Wendy's than eat here always get the order wrong and want you to drive back they can take it out of texarkana for me
Yes the food is good if they have it. Most times they're out of stuff. Their attitudes stink! Customer service is at a negative 0. But one day I went in and I was greeted with a welcome. They smiled. My food was hot. Service was fast. I thought I was in the Twilight zone. Then I realized upper management was there.
I ordered through their mobile app. When I arrived they told me that my order was not in their system. I had already been charged and could show them the order, but they refused to do anything to fix it and told me to leave.

I ordered bbq chicken and they gave me plain. I waited extra for bbq chicken. The fries are stale and greasy.
Employees were very unenthusiastic at the register and would or could not help with questions about choices of sides. Order was incomplete. Love the food! The atmosphere was terrible and univiting! There were several of us customers who had along with myself had to return to counter for completion of our order. They did not appear to be short staffed, there were at least 7 employees on deck.
When we arrived, there was a lady outside smoking a black and mild with a bonnet on and a Popeyes sitting on top of it. The back area was a mess and the lady working tge drive thru had a pack of Pom Pom cigarillos hanging from her pocket. They messed up my order and was not apologetic at all. This place is needs an overhaul. It was horrible and I will never stop here again.
They give you attitude, the food is always cold and when you politely ask for fresh chicken they act rude. I’ve given this place 3 chances and every single time my order is wrong and cold. I understand working in fast food is stressful but if you don’t want to work there just look for another job. Might as well close the place down.

Ordered door dash from these guys and dasher waited there for 30 minutes before they told her they didn't have any of our order. And now we can't get our food or refund. This has happened several times now. They need better management or they need to bow out of door dash delivery.
Stopped in about 7pm tonight. Got a sandwich and 4 piece meal deal. Drive thru operator was hard to understand and seemed angry when I couldn't understand her. Paid over $25 and got 4 small pieces of chicken with burned up fries and the rice was crunchy with the red beans. My last trip. Used to love this place but the service has hit rock bottom.
The female assistant manager was eating inside at the table, she said they’re not open yet, my daughter had to potty , we were just in the drive through where we told that male employee we were going to go inside instead and he never said they were closed. The other male employee that was bigger weight said we should have just stayed outside at the drive through when no one was talking to him he tried to start a fight with us we ended up leaving and won’t visit again he kept saying he doesn’t have any cashiers and can’t help us inside making excuses, no idea why anyone there is being paid at 10am
“The service was terrible. There were no napkins. I ordered 12 thighs, 6 wings, and 2 boxes of fries, but the staff gave me a box with only 10 thigh pieces, no wings, and no fries. When I asked the staff, they gave me an extra box with 6 wings. When I went out to ask for napkins and the fries, they finally gave me 2 boxes of fries. Their service is really unacceptable.”
This is the box they gave me minus the fries I ate those. They told me pull up it going to be a while. I didn’t ask how long I didn’t give a attitude that’s giving perfect opportunity to take their time with my food. This for one is not 1/4 lb of shrimp but also wayyyyy over done. Now they did give me another box still not 1/4lb and over cooked but I had to get to work so the buscuits and fries were all I ate.
Been sitting at the drive through menu now for 38 minutes with 20 cars behind me. The person told me to hold on and that was 40 freaking minutes ago!! What is going on? This is ridiculous I've never waited so long and been ignored and when I finally got someone to take my order she said they were sold out of everything I wanted. And when I pulled up to the window I could see inside about 6 people working and there was food and trash all over the floor it was disgusting. Get it together people. Do. Better!
Incredibly and consistently do I get small portions while paying high prices for red beans and rice. Probably the least expensive products to purchase and resale. I purchased a large 5 piece tenders combo. I upsized my red beans and rice to a large ($1.95 additional). Then as a second side got a regular red beans and rice. When I got home the large serving filled the large container just over half. I was actually able to put the regular serving into The large serving container. I complained about serving sizes about a year ago (last time I was in, and hoped things had changed. It had not. I’m done!
This is my first time leaving a review for a restaurant cause I have never had an experience this jarring. I go thru the drive thru pick up my order, go home and notice something is missing from my order I got a 6 dollar box and I got my sides but they forgot my chicken strips. So I go back to get them and the guy in the window starts attacking me, he kept saying over and over again "I told you to check the bag." to which I thought fair, but that doesn't change the fact that I didn't get something I paid for and one of the employee's in the back said she put it in the bag, if they did I wouldn't have wasted the gas to come back. this place forgets food all the time, this store is known to do this constantly, the food is worth it and it's never been that big a deal. I have just never been attacked by a drive thru person over a trivial mistake. My only mistake was trusting someone to do their job and I won't make that mistake again I'm done with this location.
Don’t ever order family meals from this Popeyes because every time I do they give you the worst of what’s left. Did door dash 20 pc meal $62+ got 10 wings 4 thighs 3 drumsticks that were 3 inches long probably wing drums 1 chicken breast. My husband and I don’t eat anything but, breast meat. So lot of dog and cat treats. This store will NEVER lANSWER PHONES VOICE MAIL DOES NOT WORK, NO BISCUITS. I went there a year ago they were adding a lot of hot sauce to red beans & rice I’m allergic my throat closed up within seconds. So after that happened I contacted corporate headquarters. Corp headquarters didn’t offer refund store credit nothing Popeyes as a whole has become one of the worst fast food chains ever. Go to Canes their great and best customer service ever. Update my husband just went to eat his apple pie my hand to God someone had taken a bite from the pie and then sent it onto us. Discussing I will contact the health authorities regarding this.
