So I went to this Whataburger And I did not have enough money to pay. I felt extremely embarrassed, And being in a long drive-through lane quite full of anxiety. I got to the window, told them I apologize but I did not have enough money to complete my order. She said how much do you have, to which I replied $8.75, which I needed $9.38, and she said baby that's fine I can work with that . I was so relieved and so happy they were able to help me. Thank you so much

Went to drive thru at 6pm on Friday..it was super busy but they were super efficient at keeping it moving..the food was perfect even with a few add-ons and special order for me being on keto diet..husband said it was the best fast food burger he's ever had! This is our go to for sure!

Love Whataburger! The BEST food around! They're getting so good about the speed of service too and employees are always so nice! Restaurant is always clean and I absolutely love that they still do 24 hour service! Definitely beat the competition with that alone, add in everything else and idk why I ever go anywhere else!!

Very good Excellent selection. I wasn't very hungry so I had onion rings they was the best I ever had and a lg coke. Others I came with really enjoyed theirs too. We came in a group of 10 and we kept them busy. Very nice people and they was very helpful and food came out fast. Shakes came a bit slow.

I work nearby and end up getting lunch here more often than I should (Whataburger is addicting 😩). I like to order on the app or site and do curbside. This location is always slammed around the time I come (11-12) but they still get your food out fairly fast and the staff is always friendly. I've never had an issue with my order being wrong and it comes out hot and fresh. I'd definitely recommend this location, and I'm sure I'll continue to be a regular customer (just maybe less regular).

I went through the drive thru for a late night dinner and it was pretty quick in the line, then the guy at the window was super nice making sure I had everything I needed and then I pulled away. 10 minutes later I realize they forgot a part of my order.(which wasn’t a big deal to me) it happens. So I called to speak to the manager, her name was Natalie and she was super sweet and professional and handled it immediately (which is rare with fast food) and she apologized for the inconvenience. Definitely seems to be under new management and I’m impressed.

I love this restaurant. It's my go to spot. They are always hospitable and polite with Texan spirit. The burgers are awesome and the onion rings are always fresh. The Dr pepper shake is mmmmm. Also I love their salads as well, so if you want nutrition there is the option. I love Whataburger.

Picked up food so atmosphere was homey. Their burgers are almost always to die for. These are my favorites. Our order was taken quickly and the wait was reasonable. What isn't reasonable is how much or dinner costs from here now!! Inflation!!

I gave only four stars for atmosphere, only because there were some rude customers, had nothing to do with the people at what a urged, some people are just rude. Be nice to those who are handling your food, or simply be nice in general, it's that's easy.

Compared to other locations, this location is a little slow with getting your order out. However we still come here because unlike other locations, they've never messed up our orders. You can also tell this location doesn't let their product sit, they give it to you fresh, which makes us happy to wait.

Back in my hometown for the weekend and picked up my Grandfather’s favorite! I thought I would go inside and skip the drive thru. The atmosphere in this location is was so nice, clean, and different from any location I have been inside before! Everyone was so nice and helpful! I overheard Ms. D encouring her team members and realized the importance of a leader in each store! I’ll bring my Grandfather inside to eat next time!

I just love this Whataburger. It’s so good and I always ask for extra cheese and sometimes extra jalapeños. Everyone here is so nice it’s a joy to come and have one of the best hamburgers ever made. They also have awesome onion rings one of the better places for onion rings. Make sure you get there early or you all wait in line but believe it or not it moves pretty quickly. They have people that take your payment information and they quickly fix your hamburger before you get to the window.

Honestly everyone there super nice and was able to handle a large crowd coming in at once. A large group of about 20 of us arrived and we all received our food in a reasonable amount of time and it was delicious. Personally my order consisted of a number one Whataburger with no cheese and it was delicious. I was super satisfied and if I’m ever in the area of Texas City again I will return.

My husband ordered #3 and to our surprise the burger had a harsh taste. Contacted manager on site and explained how we felt about the product. She apologized and provided us with a new one which had that whataburger original taste that we love. Loved that the manager turned a sour experience into a sweet one. Staff was courteous and understanding of the situation also apologized about our inconvenience.

Great food, service, and atmosphere. The place is very welcoming. You order your burger at a counter then get a buzzer and retrieve it to add as many toppings as you want from their bar. Cool concept, would come back again for a lunch spot or something casual. Good value too.

The lady that took our order over the microphone was as pleasant to hear as she was to talk with . That goes a long way with me because , the person on the other end of those are usually in a bad mood or they talk over you or don't hear but every 3rd word you say. Well this day and this lady was as different as it gets . She was bubbly and nice and in a good mood. And when she took our money she was personable . She asked about our dog . Asked how our day was going. I was surprised to say the least .after that, the young lady that gave us our drinks was the same way ,all smiles and personable .so you don't mind waiting 10 minutes for your order but, It is always hot . I did not catch the cashier's name, but the receipt said Denetral R. She was the sweetest, most pleasant human being I have met in a long time. The kind of person who makes you feel right at home before you're even halfway through the door. She's an absolute gem and she deserves a raise. She interacted so nicely with literally every single customer in the building. You could also tell she's a hard worker. She was running all over, picking stuff up, cleaning the counter, etc. She even took my trash for me. I had the #1 today and the burger was great as always. The fries surprisingly didn't have much flavor and were a tad "old" tasting. The restroom sort of smells like there might be a mildew/mold problem.

Usually really on point with orders, but they messed up my last order bigtime. They did fix the problem(s) the 3rd time i had to go back because they totally left out food. But usually great and the management was friendly and fixed my order with no questions.

I thought going inside the restaurant would be better than waiting in the long drive-thru line, but it wasn't. It took a while for me to get my order, which was a double meat burger with no buns or cheese and an order of fries. After about 10 minutes or so, this nice young man did come out from around the counter and apologized. He offered me and another customer a free drink, an apple pie, or a cookie for the long wait. In my opinion, the delay was due to a lack of structure and organization. I could tell things just weren't flowing well. It seemed chaotic.

I should have paid attention to the commercial a little bit harder. When I went to try the new Whatawings I was like what the what I didn't order chicken nuggets. Then to top it off they were tight on the sauce. Each nugget was more visible than the sauce. This is the drive thru experience. I'm just saying it's bad enough the nuggets were normal size they could at least had dropping in sauce.

I went to order at the second drive through and no one ever answered. Two cars went through the first, so i backed out and pulled in. Ordered, pulled up. Received my drinks after confirming what I ordered, then she brought me my food. I thought i counted my sacks , but when i got home, i wS one short. Not my day at Whataburger.

This Wataburger is so busy. They need more staff. They couldn't get orders straight tried to give us other people's orders and ours was missing items. Took forever to get missing items and while waiting They tried to give us someone else's order again. Please hire more staff.

Not once but now twice I have ordered my food for drive-thru and have been told that I have to come inside and get my food then I speak with a manager and they tell me that they will talk with the person and drive-thru about this but nothing has been resolved I am not happy with this location and will most likely not be coming back

My experience in this place is that the workers are very slow in taking orders, there's a long queue, and they always seem to walk around lazily; they're not at all proactive. Furthermore, sometimes you request an order and they give you something completely different. Hopefully, they'll change their staff because with that attitude, it makes you not want to come back to this place 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️

The worst whataburger in Texas they have no sense of urgency. You wait 30 mins for fries onion rings and. A drink. Half the time the fries are redipped. Of they give you the wrong food . Complete chaos multiple employees working the same ticket. Two drive thru lanes just confuses them. Bless the hearts but dang can we get some order in the place

I’m going to be honest I have very disappointed. For the last 3 visits to this location I have either had my food be over cooked, missing items, or the service was terrible. Whenever I go in the soda machine is out or not working properly making the soda flat, the lobby is messy and gross with dirty tables and chairs making it an unpleasant experience. Do better please? I hate to stop going to my favorite location because service decides to take a jump off a cliff

It was chaotic, but the staff was trying their best. My sandwich was a hot mess and not in a good way. It was mashed together like someone sat on it, one sad wilted piece of lettuce and the smallest tomato ever. My fries were cold and old. The only thing right was my coke easy ice.

Food was on par with Whataburger standards...The main problem I would like to complain about is the way the manager belittled the employees. He was very demanding and rude to the people behind the counter. This was not a busy time, and as you can see in the photos, the dining area was sparsely seated.

Terrible service. Can’t get a simple order down, tried repeating exactly what I would like on the burger. And the lady today was not able to understand and communicate back to me the simple order. This location is AWFUL!! The wait time is unbelievable. 1:30 am and I waited 35 minutes in the drive thru. I get to the window and this woman had the audacity to have an attitude with me when i told her my sprite had no syrup. She rolled her eyes and rudely asked me what else I'd like. Incredibly rude service. I've worked at whataburger for a few years, it was corporate store and our store and customer service was on point and would put this location to shame. If I could, I'd rate them no stars because that's what they deserve.

Very poorly prepared. I went a while ago and they completely messed up my order and then I came back today and they didn’t have any hash browns during breakfast so I couldn’t get the taquito. So I had to drive 25 min to the next nearest whatever (10:35). I got to Whataburger at 10:57 and had to wait 5 minutes in line but they didn’t care that i got there before 11 but they did care that I got to the window two minutes late. So I got to the window at 11:02 just for them to reject my breakfast order when it was their fault that I had to drive to another Whataburger because of their lack of supplies. I wished that the whataburger (61st street and Stewart) would’ve been nice and at least allowed me to place my breakfast order because it was another Whataburgers fault because they didn’t have the materials they needed so I had to drive out of my way to end up with nothing. It’s ridiculous that breakfast is only for 1/2 the day and they won’t give you an extra two minutes. It also took them over 25 min to cook a patty melt and Whataburger

I've given this location 3 chances and they still can't get my order right. They will just make the same mistake over and over. After being told I'm allergic to mustard they still put it on my food. Then the lady at the window stares blankly at me after I tell her thank you. Weird part is there was no argument so I don't understand the attempted stare down. Kid taking my order was awesome

There were only 2 cars in front of me and I still had to wait an hour, only for them to tell me they lost my food. This was after I paid the $40 for my order. To top it off, i came on my lunch break, and if i am gone for more than 30 minutes i get docked time. the whole ordeal cost me nearly $100, and i didnt get any food so i could get back to work. Screw this place im never coming back.

Before I even paid for my food the girl at the window stated my burger had already been made. Like why would they just make it however they wanted.All I asked for was extra grilled onions and I couldn't even get that. Hardly got any onions. Ordered breakfast in drive thru, they told me to pull up. They had a few cars pull up. They served all cars except mine. Had to call to remind them that I’m still waiting. It took another 10 minutes after call to get my order. I’m not a fan of going there for breakfast. This isn’t the first time this has happened.

45 min sitting at the drive through and they don’t give a crap. They’re so ungodly slow it’s ridiculous. Bunch kids playing around. Who’s the store manager?

Working crew couldn't take orders at inside counter! I think was computer problem. But 3 to 4 were in small office and wouldn't come out! Wildly incompetent! Meanwhile drivethru was ok! After 15 minutes at counter I left. Passing line out the door as I left. Not normal

Literally waited 30 minutes in line at 4am.. this is an every weekend issue of not having enough staff. Come here in the evening and it's fully staffed. With you being 1 of 2 places in the area that's open past 12. Service honestly needs to be improved or the schedule needs to be adjusted on business needs.

Horrible experience at this place Manager was very polite open the door for me when I arrived But a young Lady name Nautica or something like that. She has a red hair Anyway I ordered a double cheeseburger no onion. But it was extremely salty literally like they got a lot lot salt I can't eat my meal Also the young lady before we finished the transaction because I pay with a card she walk away looking on her phone and told me when the ticket printed you can get it. This is your number Super rude really not manners on costumer service I was waiting not for to long and a young guy come to me and handed my order to me very polite. But the food was not edible Extremely salty Defenetly I will not recommend this place again

Absolutely the worst location. Every time I place a mobile order ahead of time to pick up I still end up waiting 20-30 minutes beyond scheduled pick up time to get order. To many kids working that are more worried about yapping and playing on phones than taking care of customers.

If I could give zero stars I would. The food was cold but my biggest issue was the staff. I went in for dinner and was absolutely appalled at how trashy the workers were. First of all they are rude and have attitude problems secondly the things they were saying was ridiculous especially with children being around. I could hear the guys behind the wall yelling, cussing and saying the n word. Not to mention how inappropriate their conversations were. They were extremely loud about it and the heavier girl in the black shirt was laughing along with them. I'm assuming she's a manager which is absolutely ridiculous.

I went through the drive thru and ordered 2 whataburgers, mine was with no lettuce or tomatoes. I left, went home after getting my order and I had only lettuce and tomatoes on my burger. I took my burger back and all the workers seemed perplexed by my order. I heard at least 6 times, whataburger with only pickles and onions, mustard and ketchup. Eventually, I became frustrated after hearing it repeated multiple times and said I simply want a whataburger with no lettuce or tomatoes. They gave me my new burger in the same bag I brought back to them. Highly disappointed that such a simple order seemed to confuse everyone working tonight.

If I could give zero, I for sure would. We have been sitting in line for 20 minutes, still no food. Don't open 2 lines like you're chik fil a, you obviously can't handle the extra business. As I'm still sitting here typing this, the minutes pass, and still no food. People behind me got their chicken meal and left. Finally, I got my food, got on the road, and wouldn't you know it, no napkins or salt. Oh well, gotta go, my son is now going to be late to work. Thanks, Whataburger!

If unorganized and unprepared was a place, this would be it. When placing the order on the app the time suggested would be 7:17 when arriving I had to wait 35 mins past the time. Drive thru received food faster even it was 9 cars long. Walking-in customers who order when arriving got their food faster. FOH was excellent prepping everything on time. BOH needs a stronger manager lead. 0/10 recommendation for Texas City location.

If I could give this place less than one star,I would. The employees were doing anything but their jobs. Talking on their phones, eating and drinking instead of filling orders and servicing the ice machine, napkins or tea. Took 30 minutes or more to get my simple order. The food was cold and the worst WB I have ever had. There appears to be no supervision or management in this place. Don’t waste your time or money on this place.

Texas City whataburger on Palmer Highway is the worst in the State of Texas. I had to repeat a simple order 6 times. Whatacatch sandwich (only) with a extra piece of fish. No cheese! I wish I had the money to buy that store right now, because I would have (Fired) everyone on the spot. They could have taken the register and furniture with them. I would have told them, by and don't come back!!!! I been to a lot of Whataburger, this one is the worst in the State of Texas...

If you’re trying to get to work on time DO NOT STOP AT THIS WHATABURGER! Waited in drive thru over 15mins for a drink and 2 sausage biscuit n gravy. Kept pulling people out of line just to have EVERYONE waiting.

Absolutely terrible service. Food was sitting for 30 minutes by how cold it was when it was handed to me. Order online for a pick up at 9:50 pm, said it would be ready by 10:20, got there at 10:22 with one car ahead of me, they said the order JUST came in, sat in the drive thru till 5 mins ago when the food was handed to me, checked the food when I got home (less than a 1 min drive) and the food was legitimately cold to touch, not warm not hot, COLD.

26 minutes for one taco is completely unacceptable. Whoever is managing this place has failed. I watched order after order being pushed out for drive thru yet not a single item was cooked for front counter. Do better. If you don't know how to manage a fast food joint, reach out to me. I will give you some tips.

My wife usually grabs lunch while I have our child. It took literally one hour for my wife to get her food on top of that. They didn’t close the gravy so gravy spilled all in the bag very disappointing cause I’ve never been to a Whataburger that’s been like that ever.

My burger patty looked like a worker took a bite out of it. The line took over a hour I didn’t get the sauce I payed for and order was messed up. This is awareness to not go to this location or the la marque one heard they don’t wash there hands on Facebook absolutely disgusting

Not really sure who is running this establishment but this is the worst whataburger we’ve ever been to. Multiple times our order has been incorrect, burger buns were crumbling apart and fries were stale. My husband and I keep trying to give them chances because it’s the closest Whataburger to our house but it’s like a 1:8 ratio of our food actually being correct. At this point we’ll just travel to make sure we’re getting our monies worth. Hate to sound like a “Karen” but this location is the absolute worst.

Genuinely surprised they got the change right since almost everything else they got wrong. Wrong drink, missing sides, missing sauces, and on top of all that they took 10 minutes to figure out how a gift card works.

We ordered 2 patty melt meals. One no patty melt sause add ketchup one all the way .. Fries were soggy burger was wrong .. the manager is so disrespectful and rude when my husband took the burger back in she told him nothing was wrong with the burger after she had already fixed the mistake. Today I couldn’t wait for dinner. My lady and I went to the drive in and I ordered a Sweet & Spicy, upsized with a coke. We get home and its a dried up messy chicken finger sandwich with cold fries. Of course this could happen at any fast food drive thru but This is a frequent occurrence at the Texas City WB. I had enough and had to post something this time. Make sure the kid takes your order right before moving forward. Check your food before driving off. Frustrating 🤦🏻‍♂️

I went ordered my meal and realized my burger was steaming hot, fries ice cold, and sprite was club soda when I arrived to my destination. I immediately called and spoke with Joel who was thankful for my call and for notifying him of the sprite needing to be changed. I also informed him that I did not live in the area and that I couldn’t come back due to only being able to get food at certain times as I visit the area to care for my grandmother. I called early on in the day because I knew I would be taking care of my grandmother so I would be in the area and gave Joel a heads up. It was not specified during our conversation that I would need to come inside for my remake. I went to the drive through and the employee was adamant on me coming inside for my remake. I felt that it was very inconsiderate as I may have had a disability making it difficult for me to come inside and it should not have mattered if I came inside or not as I originally went through the drive through the first time. The employees answering the speaker needs to work on their deliverance as it would make a difference in the customer service since they are the first interaction customers have. I am pregnant and was not dressed to get out of my vehicle and go inside a public place for my meal to be remade when it should’ve been to the company’s expectation the first time. I do appreciate Joel for remaking my order but this location has some improvements to make.

Ordered online & curbside. When got home the burgers looked smashed like someone stepped on them. Paid for gravy, and for third time they did not include it. NO napkins & NO ordered ketchups. Service and food has gone downhill. Employees are not customer friendly either. Will not be going back.

I had a problem around April 8 I don’t live in the area. I am visiting from Maryland stopped by yesterday. They treated me very disrespectful. Had me there for 32 minutes and still got nothing done. I have my receipt and the manager was giving me the runaround. My name is in the office. I called when I had the problem. I felt very disrespected. I do not appreciate how they treated me. I can’t believe they did that very letdown by Whataburger you gotta do better.

If I could give zero stars I would. Lazy employees and the food was not good. The sodas were all flat, we ordered 3 different kinds. The food honestly was terrible. The fries were cold and stale. This location used to be great. I would avoid it at all costs now. It gives all other Whataburger locations a bad name.

If you go to this Whataburger location, PLEASE check your bag before you leave. This is what I got, missing items. Also, be prepared, they will fight to the death over a 25 cent gravy that was supposed to come with my order in the first place. To top it off, the manager was rude, to say the least.
