This was my second time at this Starbucks and got to meet Alex who was super friendly :) He has the best customer service and I received my drink and sandwich within a few minutes of ordering.
The store manager Laura is super nice and friendly; literally never in a bad mood, and super attentive with customers. Best manager. Overall, the baristas are great too.

Amazing service and very friendly staff. I wish all Starbucks staff is so easy going and friendly. Now talking about quality it's perfect.. I had latte and hot chocolate both were perfect and smooth.. This is not for the first time I had great experience. I have had different kinds of coffee from different Starbucks and the one that I use in Newport Jersey City NJ is not as good as I had in Jersey garden mall Starbucks.. I would surely recommend this store only one catch if you are not mobile order than you might have to wait for long in que.. Rest all awesome 👌👍
The drinks are okay. Ordered ice but got a hot drink multiple times with the new cashier. Some days the line stretches down multiple stores, not worth it.
Service a bit slower than you get in the city but this was because of how busy the shop was. Staff were efficient and courteous and coffee was of the good standard you would expect
I was attended to by Laura, I wanted to know the difference between flat white and cafe latte and she patiently explained to me the difference, and it helped me make a choice. I ordered flat white and I loved it.

I ordered around 4pm and got delayed to pick it up by 30 minutes. Since the coffee was cold. They redid a new drinks and offered a new drink for me. Kids menu of white chocolate milk was provided with 2 glasses in order to kool it. Very thought provoking team.
It is a rather small starbucks with limited sitting. What they lack in space, they make up with great customer service and urgency. The wait was not long, and the staff was patient and efficient. Keep up the great work guys!
We travel coast to coast and all in between, and we stop at a lot of Starbucks, and other coffee shops, and this is definitely the hardest working crew! As our time in Jersey comes to an end this time around, I feel they need recognition for what they do. Laura manages her crew like a pro and she's willing to get working right along side of them. Gabe is the best, and the crew clearly knows their stuff!
The smell of the place was wonderful as was the service. I normally do not order such drinks since they are expensive, but it's always nice to buy it once in a while for the experience (taste was great too).

This is my go to Starbucks since moving out of NYC. The team here are polite and friendly. Tatiana, Laura, Kayla and the rest of the team always have smiles when I see them and enjoyable small talk. Thank you for opening up earlier 🙏🏼 🙌🏼 it means a great deal during my opening shifts.
The staff at this Starbucks is amazing! This place is always extremely busy and they handle it with a smile! Laura helped me out and i cant say enough about what a great attitude she has, you can see it spreads to the rest of the staff …they deserve huge praise for how they hustle and are so friendly. I’ve been to nearly empty Starbucks and gotten less friendly service where employees act like you are bothering them…not here! Fantastic crew!

Said I would give this place one more try. So I did. And to my surprise there was a wonderful soul named Mary working there. She made sure that I got the drink I wanted, the way I wanted it! She went above and beyond and personalized the service! In a field of coffee options in this mall; there stood out a person who takes pride in her work and customer service!! She made me a customer again!! THANK YOU MARY FOR BEING AWESOME ON A DAY THAT I NEEDED AWESOMENESS!!!!!!
I came a few days ago and ordered a caramel ribbon crunch, Bryant took my order he was very nice quick and efficient. I had asked for extra caramel and he did not disappoint. It's one of the few times I came into Starbucks and got exactly what I wanted. Drink and service was really good. Definitely would come back when I'm in the mall again.
Gio rocks. She was super attentive and doing her best to make my order as soon as possible. This whole staff is incredible under pressure. Despite the long line they made my order within 4 mins and made everything so well! Worth the wait time. People need more patience especially during the holidays.

Hey, when you’re staying a stones throw away at one of the 5 hotels (i.e. Marriott Courtyard) across the street, a really good Starbucks store inside this Jersey Gardens outlet store mall. Walk it in 5 - 8 mins. Lower level by the way, under the main (street level) food court area. And, this Starbucks opens promptly at 8 AM (weekday). The opening staff is eager to serve you. Tony, he was very pleasant, friendly & helpful. Good experience.
PROS: This Starbucks has nice staff and is conveniently located in the center of the mall. They have tables in the hall way which is a common courtesy that is non-existent to many other places outside of the food court. CONS: They take forever to get your order ready. I know there's a crowd of people but remember, you got a bunch of workers back there AND other starbucks locations who also deal with crowds whip up your order faster OVERALL: If there's no crowd or if you order on the app then get it from this place but if you don't wanna waste time then go somewhere else
Ok so I just visited Starbucks today...and I expected my service to be as great as last time. But ok I come in and customize my drink to the way I want it and I ask for sugar free syrup..I'm on a diet specific to staying off sugar..when I receive my drink it is sweeter than I imagined I'm not sure what they put but I know it was not sugar free. Yummy but really too sweet....
Not usually a fan of Starbucks, tbh. I was their first customer of the day, staff was smiling, friendly and very polite. Cashier was multitasking and yet had the time to communicate, and got fresh coffee and food heated, at times like this you think today might be a good day. I'm glad I stopped by, and I would definitely return the next time I have a 6am install at the Mall.
Was pretty much what you expect from a Starbucks. I'm always surprised and a little disappointed when you have to wait because they ran out of coffee. How does a Starbucks not have fresh coffee always ready to go?
Overpriced and the customer service is terrible. If rating was just for the pumpkin spice coffee I'd probably given them a full on 5-stars. So they lost some 🌠🌠for their racists & disrespectful staff. Sorry "Starbucks" but I still L❤️V the coffee flavors
Got my first half of the order promptly and the second half 15 minutes later which would have been even longer if didnt inquire about it for a 2nd time. There machine was down and no one cared to tell me so I had to get something different.
Decent Starbucks, with inside and outside seats (Outside mean out of the store, not outside the mall). Starbucks dont have to to do a lot to make good coffee, but what they do need is to improve their WIFI, and to offer power outlets to charge phones and laptops.
It was nice and clean. My only critique was that the guy who was wearing the Jeans cutoffs made my drink did not ask my name. So after taking several orders. He placed the drinks on the counters for pick up. He said nothing. So here we have multiple people touching the drinks to see if its theirs. I was turned off by that.
Flys. Flys. Flys. Messy and dirty and they only opened at 7am and it's 10:30am right now. The colleagues are nice but I can tell they aren't being managed well as they weren't even trying to clean and there was y behind the counter and I was the only in line and 2 customers in the building. The fly problem though should be addressed ASAP. Flys vomit km what they land on. There was one Dead in the display and 5 flying around. That's a health issue. Something isn't clean and needs to be cleaned who knows what it is. The more Flys you see the more larva that was played on what ever needed to be cleaned and the more Flys that hatch. You would not pass a health inspection and that's for sure.
We didn’t appreciate the baristas’ nasty glare directed at us at 7:45 am on Monday, June 24, and no offer of thank you after THEY got our venti HOT macha latte wrong by making it with ice. I emphasized the word “hot” when ordering this beverage on a hot summer day. We’ve never had a Starbucks employee anywhere give us anything but a friendly, welcoming attitude.
Love the people, hate the new Starbucks. They've lost their way. Horrible atmosphere. I go out of my way to avoid stores with no seating or bathrooms. The new counter service makes me feel like people are cattle to their corporate office.
Newly renovated! This means better lighting and modern look. Feels lest cluttered and crowded, at the cost of less seating. Mobile orders don’t always reflect if something isn’t available, which can be inconvenient for locals and regulars. Kudos to the staff for working diligently and attending to so many tourists!
We were here on a slow day. Way to little staff members working. 35 min for two drinks, really pitiful. Don't waist your time, unless you have alot of it. Tried mobile ordering but doesn't work at this location, app just sits and spins.
My order has been wrong from this place waytl many times but I visit this mall alot and this is the only Starbucks near this area. Currently they seem to have a bunch of new people training but management does seem to be actually training them. Everyone is new at some point but not with my 10$ coffee!!!
The barista looked pissed off, my milk was so bubbly and lumpy, and the creme wasn’t lifted at all. You do coffee, lattes are pretty simple, smooth milk, lift the creme
Only two people on shift resulting in long waiting times … in my case 15 minutes. Even taste might be great, it was overall a bad experience.
If i didn't ask the barista, while he was making my coffee, if it had 4 expresso shots in it, he was going to put 3. He clearly said it comes with 3 as a venti, when it's 4. The manager overhead this, came over & corrected him while giving me the excuse he's " new "... Watch OR question your coffee if it doesn't taste right. Obviously, these employees aren't being trained correctly. For these prices I want what I pay for.
Hey Mills Starbucks, please change your hours on Google to reflect the proper opening time. I had to wait 20 minutes for service because online it said it was open at 8am, and they didn't open until 8:30am. I'm not from the area so going to another Starbucks wasn't really an option. Would love to save others the hassle I went through, so you should update as soon as possible.
Today I’ve ordered an pineapple black iced tea venti, they gave me an old order that someone else didn’t want. The drink tasted so bad I threw it out, it was honestly such a waste of $5. Come on, do better please don’t waste your time coming here. I had an mobile order, and they screwed it up. The workers here seem out to breathe. There’s other Starbucks in the nearby towns which make drinks way better.
They would rather conversate amongst themselves rather than getting to the customers orders. Waited 7 mins for a croissant to be warmed up there were only 3 of us waiting. Waited 15 mins to get my overall order.
I went to the one in jersey gardens just as a treat for myself and a friend. I waited over 15-20 minutes for my two frappes. Nothing more, nothing less. People were getting served before me who placed orders after me. Mobile orders made by the whole staff with no sense of direction. Nothing special, you're not missing much should you come to this location.
Such a rude customer service.. Ordered through mobile app and waiting for more than half an hour.. Finally they told that drink is not available.. Unprofessional people. Not like Starbucks usual customer service. Better to avoid

Had a terrible experience here. The barista named Samara was rude, unpolite and did ugly looks for me, just because I didnt understand what she was saying. I’m a heavy user of starbucks in Brazil and I have never was treated so bad like I was by this barista. I got really stressed, nervous and disappointed about the service.
The absolute worst service! I ordered an iced WHITE chocolate mocha... after literally 14 minutes I was given a DARK brown drink. I explained to the barista that I had ordered a white chocolate mocha, he rolled his eyes & walked away. Another barista had a friend come in that worked in the mall & she skipped the whole line for 5 LARGE drinks that clearly weren't a mobile order & had to be free since the barista kept asking what else she wanted. After 22 minutes I asked for a manager thats when another barista decided to ask what I was waiting on & made it right away... so sad that the entire time the manager was not out helping his untrained team. I rather take a drive to another Starbucks.
I got a pour over it was like warm. I asked for something to clean the table . After a a short wait someone came out and swept the floor before wiping the table and left it soaking wet

In the mall at height of the holiday season. Long lines. Only 5 Staff working . I hear it’s always busy at this particular Starbucks. Mgmt needs to hire more staff. Long lines out the door. Store dirty, dirty tables.
Scheduled to open @ 10am. Waited in line until 10am only to be told "sorry, another 15 to 20 minutes". After the wait and delayed open I was able to get my latte @ around 10:30am and it was awful 😞. I would say this is the worst Starbucks location. Avoid if you can.
I love Starbucks, and today I had a Venti java chip frap omg it was watery .I was so disappointed the crew was chatting up in front of me and another customer like if they were home very unprofessional you say thank you they ignore you wow who is running this place mind you am a uber driver so I get to drink Starbucks everywhere this place should get no stars

Worst Starbucks experience I’ve ever had. Tatiana (she acted like she was the manager…I sure hope not for the sake of training others) was extremely rude. In front of 4 or 5 employees standing there watching. As a matter of fact this may be my first bad review I’ve ever given to any business. I usually just let it go…That’s the impact Tatiana left one me.
Worst Starbucks in the world, huge line waiting to order, after order 3 simple items, they delayed more than 30 minutes to deliver my order and 1 item came wrong. All the employees it seems to be lost, starting to do something and stoping in the middle and starting another activity, very confusing. Worst Starbucks experience ever, I don't recommend!
I’ve been a starbucks customers for several years. However, I received the worst customer service experience at this location for the following reasons: 1. Rude staff. 2. I waited more than 30 minutes for a coffee. I asked twice about the status and the staff said my drink was coming up (it never came) 3. Then, they gave me the wrong drink and wrong size. 4. When I asked for a refund, they gave me an attitude and I still had to wait several minutes. The person who attended me gave me an attitude, rolled her eyes... Sorry starbucks, you lost a customer.
I waited 20 mins for a bagel and cream cheese . 15 minutes in I asked the barista about my order and she became snappy. Managers weren’t even engaging or apologetic . Clearly , I know it’s just a bagel but it was just unprofessional and totally disorganized .
Honestly , I'm a huge fan of Starbucks but this place has to be the slowest thus far. You wait on line for 20 minutes and then wait another 30 minutes for your drink and it doesn't even come out that great. The only way this store is succeeding is because the airport is right next to them . Another thing is they need to be staffed !!! The current staff is slow and not nice at all. The only good thing I have to say about this place is that the managers are nice but they're workers are only good at rolling their eyes and sucking their teeth!! Corporate has to pay them a surprise visit becsuse somrthing has to be fixed with this place !!!
I always order hot latte with whole Milk but there is this barista she always mess my order, as I was standing there looking her preparing my order she used some other milk instead of ordering whole milk she’s unprofessional and kind of aggressive all the time. I really hate this place. It happens all the time with the same barista. So I recommend to hire some professional and decent people. Thanks
Probably the worst service you'll ever receive in the United States. Took over 20 minutes to get served two hot drinks. When we mentioned they had forethe order and didn't even bother to apologise for the inconvenience and shameful service.
We ordered on app like an hour ago and people ordered on app after us all got their orders, we talked to at least three staffs on the pick up side and nobody’s trying to help us and even told us they’re not even starting to prepare mobile order yet. If you have to lie you need to tell a better one.
This is the slowest Starbucks I have ever been to. I don't know why I tortured myself and waited about 20 minutes in line then another 15-20 minutes for our Frappacino. I just wasn't expecting this type of service. There was no sense of urgency at all by the employees to make the drinks fast at all nor any order. People behind us received their drinks before us. You have got to do better than this. Hire more people to get the drinks made and customers in and out. Time is money and if this is how the business is regularly ran, then I'm sure it reflects in your sales which could be higher with faster service. The small dining area was also dirty and unkept.
Bad service and bad employees , they are stupids and they don't understand, When i told him the 3 orders, i asked him if their is free refill. He said yes. When i asked him the refill he said no refill. Bad experience and I advise you not to come to Starbucks in Elizabeth mall
If there was an option to give this place 0 starts, I would definately do that. We ordered 5 beverages and a cake, and only one of the beverge we ordered was correct. To top that off, the cake was incorrect as well. They gave us 3 of someone else's coffee and gave us that person's coffee. We left with 3 of the wrong coffees because we did not want to deal with the rude and unprofessional cashier. After we paid, the lady said "Is that all? Great. Thank you." in a very rude tone. We will definately never come back to this Starbucks location.
employees did not seem to be eager to tend to customers, and when i had ordered the smoked butterscotch latte, i then proceeded to my car drinking the coffee i felt something hard against my lip after each sip, i then opened the lid and saw that there was a baby roach floating in my drink. at first i thought that it was a uncooked coffee bean. i took it out to make sure that it was only that. i got it up the side of the cup and i noticed there were legs on it, so i looked a little closer and saw that it was a little roach! i threw the cup out of the window of the car as soon as i saw what it was. i should've taken a picture as proof but we were too far from them to make a complaint but i am no longer going to them anymore after that incident, obviously they did not care about the hygiene of their store.
The cashier today took my order about my frozen coffee with caramel and whipped cream. But she was talking to much with other partners and wasn’t focus because I arrived my car in parking lot and my frozen coffee was with any sugar n o caramel. Is not fair happend this. I couldn’t go to claim for this because I had a surgery and I can’t walk too much.
I ordered two caramel Frappuccinos and both did not have the caramel flavor, I understand that there are too many people but they have to make the drinks correctly, I threw away both drinks

Drinks did not come out up to par, had to ask them to remake my drinks. My coffee came out horrible. The sandwiches were cold. I’m happy your team gets along, but I think it would be in their best interest to get through the rush instead of goofing around.
I don’t recommend this place. The wait time is extremely long. I had to leave without my product, even though I paid for it, because of the delay. I asked for a refund, but they didn’t give it to me.
Today, September 2, I ordered my Frappuccino through the app. When I arrived, after 10 minutes, as the order suggested, I ordered my order and a thin young man with a mustache gave it to me. My order was defrosted, half full, and unpresentable. I told him that it looked ugly. He told me that this is your order and he quickly went to hide. That can't happen. What's wrong with the good presentation of the product? One is buying, not asking for a gift or asking for charity.
I was in line when the employee herself passed a customer in front of us. Thank you Laura. Your rush to work shows a lack of sense with customers. Welcome starbucks jersey gardem mall.

⭐ 1 Star Review: Always late and unprofessional. The manager is extremely rude — you can’t even talk to anyone if you need help because they all have an attitude. One of the employees threw a cleaning towel on the counter when I only asked for a paper tray for my cups. I told the manager about it, but she didn’t even listen. She just kept saying “Have a nice day” over and over again instead of helping. Very disappointing service.
Came in here to get a few coffees. I noticed a fly on the pumpkin loaf and notified one of the staff that they should clean and take care of it. He dismissed me completely and said that it's just "display" and I will get a different piece. It seemed like he didn't even wanna clean it or remove the fly. I thought it was the most ridiculous response that is completely unsanitary and disgusting....
Absolutely terrible customer service. I wanted a tall iced brown shaken oat milk espresso with cold foam but in a grande cup because they throw away some espresso to fill up the tall with cold foam. So instead of waste and what I paid for just put it all in a grande cup. They said no when I have for years been getting it like this. The managers were extremely rude and had such poor attitudes and embarrassed me in front of everyone as if I were asking for something outlandish. it’s a shame because Starbucks is the one place that the standard of customer service has always been held high. The worst location. Shane on you!
I ordered a drink on the mobile app And when I picked up my drink, I asked for a cup ice and the staff told me I had to go back On the long line, That wrapping around the store because I didn’t add to my order for mobile pick up There is no feature to add a cup of ice on my mobile pick up order. I’ve been working in this mall for five years. I’ve never had that happen to me. I understand we are on holiday season, but if I’m a mobile pick up order and you know that I cannot add a cup of ice to the mobile order why are you giving me such a problem? When there is a station right next to the mobile pick up order for free water, but you’re telling me it’s for inventory purposes I need to go back on the line for ice
Worst coffe ever , people doesn't even know difference between cortado, cappuccino and flat white, I ordered flat white then the milk was foamed like cappuccino and it was too much milk, then i asked to change it to cortado but unfortunately he made like the picture foam and a shot of espresso which is turns to something doesnt have any taste. After all of that coffe doesn't extracted well I don't know the coffee doesn't good as I used to drink it in other countries who are specialist in coffe making. Not recommended if you looking to have a hot cup of coffee
I do not understand barometer people are rating this place with? It's possibly the worst location in NJ. It's almost never open, it almost never opens on time, it's almost always closed around 2pm (how does this place make money in the picture I posted it's 1:45pm), when it is open the line is ridiculous, the order ahead app is normally disabled, the staff doesn't really care, it's excruciating to watch the staff with ZERO sense of urgency work. I frequent this location because it's so close to my house. But I always prepare myself for disappointment.
Slowest Starbucks I have seen. And I have visited around 100. Edit - it's such an excruciating pain to watch this people work. They don't have a leader, they need extreme coaching and training and orders are super inconsistent. I have seen nitro cold brews served with ice? Massive lines of customers waiting and so on...
This was the worst Starbucks experience that I have ever had, without a doubt. The entire store was a complete disaster, with sticky coffee residue on the counters, boxes blocking 30% of the store, and trash on the counters. Also, one of the baristas was rude in giving my order and by not giving any attention to something I needed in addition to my order. This seems to be due to the baristas being overworked and understaffed.
