Heard about this place after a local bagel shop closed. Was amazed when they said that if I called ahead even if out they could make what I needed. About a 22 minute drive early morning from Gleannloch Farms area and it’s been worth it so far. Ordered 13 plain and 13 cinnamon-raisin. They are very good. I will be back soon.
If you have never had a NYC bagel, come to Brooklyn Cafe to taste the real authentic thing! My favorite is the Lax (Salmon) Bagel with cream cheese, onions and capers. They have a wide variety of Bagels to choose from, Sesame Seed, Poppy Seed, Onion, Plain, and many more. Finger-licking fantastic!!
Tried this place foe the first time today. They were busy but we got our bagels fairly quick, coffee took longer, but that's was ok as there was only 1 girl making all the drinks. Lots of tables of people looking happy, nobody complaining for the wait. There were several outdoor tables but we sat inside. The everything bagel was too salty but the cinnamon raised bagel with raised walnut cream cheese was amazing. The caramel snickerdoodle coffee was great too. Coffee prices were high, just an americano was over $5 and the other was almost $7, both were smalls. We plan to come back to try more things. Nice little place.
Called in the order and picked it up and it was ready just when they promised. Order the Santa Fe sandwich on the everything bagel toasted. It was everything I was looking for. It is a manly sandwich. Not that a woman can't eat it. In this day of age we can all eat the same sandwiches. But it was hearty, spicy, and salty with the everything bagel. I highly recommend this place for relaxing much and delicious bagels.
A staple in the area. We always get their breakfast burritos and bagel of the month when in town visiting family. Staff is always incredibly friendly. Burritos always hit the spot.
A MUST visit cafe in the Woodlands! Great service. Fast food even when they were super busy! Love the atmosphere.
I’ve been coming here 20 years and primarily get bagels + bagel sandwiches. Those are great. Very generous portions on the sandwiches. Just tried one of their speciality lattes for the first time and it’s SO GOOD. The honey vanilla lavender latte (I got iced) was well-balanced, sweet but not too sweet, creamy, and a nice value for the large!
This is truly a gem, I wish I lived closer so I could come more often. I was in the area and needed somewhere to eat and kill time while also being able to get some work done. This place was perfect. The staff were all wonderful and courteous, especially the gentleman that took my order. My food came out quickly and it was delicious! Great quality for the price! Since I knew I would be there a while I ordered the chorizo taco (with no egg) and a lox bagel (everything bagel, jalapeno cream cheese and no egg). My order came correctly, no issues at all. I appreciated those that came by and checked up on me and cleared my dishes as I sat. It was also nice that at no time was I ever pressured to leave. Next time I am in the area I will stop in to try something else. Sorry there were no pics, I was tired and hungry so that was the last thing on my mind.
One of the best bagel I have had outside of NYC. Great service and food.
This place was pretty busy but the line was moving pretty fast. Food was delicious and staff was really nice.
I don’t leave reviews as often as I should, but it’s an absolute must to leave a rave review for Brooklyn Cafe!! This morning was the first time I tried it and had it delivered via Postmates and I’m blown away by how delicious everything was! I had a strawberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese & a bacon, egg, cheese, potato & grilled onion breakfast wrap. I also got the eggnog latte which was wonderful. I highly recommend this place! You won’t be disappointed! 😋
Good food and service. I like that there is a variety of food besides just bagels, but the bagels are delicious. Knocked a star because last time I went all the indoor tables available to us were a little dirty, but that could have just been because it was busy. An easy fix for busy moments might be a wet wipes station accessible to customers.
The bagel was super fresh and absolutely delicious! I really loved it. Highly recommend this café
Loved finding this little gem this past week! I had their latte (a little sweet towards the end but I’ll just order it a little less sweet next time but the cream on top was perfect). I got the breakfast platter with hash browns, very clean and not greasy. They have rainbow bagels! So I got some to go and ordered heart bagels for valentines! Such a cute experience.
Yet another food gem in the Woodlands. Brooklyn Cafe was a recommendation and it did not disappoint. The staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. Some reviews say the staff get orders wrong but this wasn't the case with us (6 people, 6 different orders). The signature bagels were delicious, well made and well presented. The seasonal drinks were very fun and added to the festive feel. I'd recommend Brooklyn Cafe for great bagels, service and hot drinks in the Woodlands. Overall we had a great experience, it looks a very popular place therefore it does get busy!!
First time visiting. Plenty of diners but the service is fast. Dine in or on the patio. BIG shout out to our server Kenna W for friendliness and attentiveness! She provided drink recommendations that were spot on (lavender, vanilla latte). The breakfast sandwiches on bagels were delicious!
I got my dog a dog bread that they offer And he didn't like it and the server who was from Mexico City but I don't know his name gave him a complimentary bowl of scrambled eggs. Happy campers while we wait for our car to get cleaned in oil changed next door.
The is Matcha is amazing! You can actually taste the matcha, and the peaches and cream is great too. I haven’t tried the food yet, but it smelled really good and they were very busy. This is in a large “shopping” center with plenty of parking spaces, although it’s difficult to find parking sometimes.
I came here on my perpetual search for the elusive perfect east coast bagel and was pleased with this find! Unfortunately, I did not try any of their coffees or other meals so I can only leave a review on their bagels. Came here on a Saturday close to closing and wanted to see if they really did make New York style Bagels. I'm always on the search for bagel that is true and made the traditional way. Some bagels out there are nothing but nasty fluffy white bread through and through and should just referred to as a nasty bread donut. Fortunately, these were great! I purchased the everything bagel and brought them home to toast and try. Their bagels are correctly made, as they are boiled and then baked so on the inside, they have a nice chewy almost gummy texture and on the outside and nice crisp crack to them. The everything bagel topping/sprinkle was very good, although I will say it is a little bit heavy on the salt. I definitely recommend Brooklyn Cafe for their bagels! They're good honest East Coast style Bagels and for only about $1.50 each it's a good deal! Not sure what the price is for other things added to it but bottom line it's a good bagel.
Popped by for the first time for a quick bite. The service was very friendly, the bagel came out quickly, and it was divine. Soft, chewy, salty and savory. Hearty portion of lox and just the right amount of cream cheese. I will definitely be back!
Outstanding food, cozy atmosphere, welcoming staff. This is a rare treat nested close to home! Love it!!! We come every chance we can!
Enjoyed a classic lox bagel and a plain cream cheese with a coffee. Friendly service and spacious patio, reminds me of Larchmont Village in Los Angeles. Will be back to try the other items on the menu.
I got an everything bagel with cream cheese and they slather it on thickk! Bagel was really soft and soooo good! Also got a vanilla soy latte and it's also heaven! The atmosphere was good. Everyone was so focused working and I got my food fairly quickly. Worth the wait! Support local This place is bustling with people in the mornings on the weekend. There's a line to the door when I got there. After you order, the cashier gives you a number and there's couches or tables for you to wait at. There's also many seats outside. It would be cool if it was livelier, like Brooklyn 😋 but I loved the vibe either way

The food is great. The bagels are sooo big and filled to the top. It is always busy but they manage to be super fast too.
Super delicious bagels! I got the honey lavender latte and a Hawaiian bagel with plain cream cheese and bacon. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in town
I ordered through a third party app for delivery. The food was amazing! We had been searching for a cafe near our home similar to one in New Orleans. Brooklyn cafe just might have them beat! I was pleasantly impressed by how much love and attention was paid into the preparation of the food. Everything was so fresh and delicious! The staff were very accommodating on a request I made for one of the meals ordered. Not a single detail was missed down to the portion, presentation, quality and efficiency. It was such a treat to enjoy Sunday brunch but next time, we plan on eating at the restaurant to take in the full experience. Thank you Brooklyn, me and my son felt super charged after enjoying our meal! Your body will always let you know if the foods you consume are made with fresh ingredients VS artificial fillers.

Brooklyn Cafe: A Slice of New York in the South Brooklyn Cafe is the early morning destination to kick off your day the right way. Step in, catch the aroma, and get in line—because trust me, you don’t want them selling out of your favorites. Whether you're a fan of everything, plain, or blueberry bagels, they’ve got that perfect bite. I took on “The Emperor”—a bagel that feels like the crown jewel for true bagel lovers—and couldn’t even finish it. It’s that big, that bold, and that good. Though I’m not from the North, Brooklyn Cafe captures the heart of a bustling New York morning right here in the South. It’s more than breakfast—it’s a vibe, a community, and a moment. I’ll be back for the smell, the energy, and that little taste of Brooklyn that makes any day feel like it’s starting off right.
Such a gem for bagel and coffee lovers! Every bagel I’ve tried here has been delicious, but the one that stole my heart was the salmon bagel with capers — super fresh and packed with flavor. It didn’t even show up in the “popular items” section, but trust me, it’s worth asking for. They also have a huge drink menu — tons of matcha options, different types of coffee, and a really nice variety of chai. Whether you’re into classics or more adventurous drinks, there’s something for every taste. Definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to!
I recently discovered this place and was pleasantly surprised. They hollowed out my bagel before double toasting, generous with lox, cream cheese and onion. Perfect! Will go back again and highly recommend it.
First time I checked out this place on a Saturday afternoon after a workout class nearby. They have a variety of delicious breakfast and lunch menu options! I ordered a ranch wrap and an iced salted vanilla matcha latte. The food was absolutely delicious and flavorful, would definitely order again. The matcha however, I was very disappointed. I read reviews before coming here talking about how “amazing” their matcha is, so of course I had high hopes. I asked the barista to add another scoop of matcha but it did not make a difference as you can see in the photos, it just tasted like milk. My friend ordered a coffee drink and said hers tasted great. Next time I come here I’ll definitely order a coffee and not a matcha.
The Brooklyn Cafe is a local landmark in The Woodlands that has served breakfast, brunch, and lunch to Panther Creek since 1994. This place is about as close as you can get to a small-town diner, with a staff that recognizes the regulars and regulars who are always happy to see the staff. They offer indoor and outdoor seating (with shade), which is always popular for pet lovers, cyclists, and those gorgeous winter days or those brave enough to weather the summer heat. Rain or shine, there's usually a line, and takeout is a popular choice. The food is in line with a small diner and overall good; everything is made on-site, but the bagels can be hit or miss. The low prices make it popular for groups and families, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Your order is placed at the counter, while coffee, tea, and soda are self-service; your food and specialty drinks are delivered to your table. You should clear the table yourself to be polite. There are places in The Woodlands to get a tastier bagel, perhaps, but no place that feels more like "Coming Home to The Woodlands."
I've been coming to Brooklyn since I was a kid, I've probably eaten here more than 50 times in the last 15+ years. I'm a very loyal customer and I have always (and will always) love this food. Their in-house cream cheese is spectacular and I've watched them get creative with bagels and recipes over the years. Their age-old staples never disappoint. When I'm in town visiting family, I always stop by. The prices are fair (the wraps are a bit too pricey however). Big fan of the atmosphere inside. All that being said, Brooklyn Cafe is incredibly inconsistent in their service and efficiency. These are things that should be addressed by the owner and managing staff. Out of the dozens of times I've eaten here over the years, about a third of the time I endure an outrageously long wait, and maybe a quarter of the time my order is wrong. I have seen the staff get quickly overwhelmed during peak hours and mess up people's orders. Hot food will build up behind the counter and I'm guessing that's where the link breaks and things end up in the wrong bags. People ordering in-store will get their food earlier than people who ordered before them - sometimes long before - and customers pick up on this. The staff can get flustered and not communicate with customers so it's not clear what's going on. Things become inefficient too often. I know the front of store staff is young and there's a decent amount of turnover - and again, the food is consistently delicious. But I need to bring attention to these issues because it's been a problem for years. I never know if I'm getting my food in 5 minutes or an hour. Today I waited 50 minutes and got the wrong order, and was told a certain bagel was out of stock as I was getting the rest of the food (instead of as soon as they realized). Thankfully a woman who appeared to be a manager stepped up, apologized for the mistakes and wrote off the receipt. Too many other times, however, I've just had to deal with it. 4/5 stars for the best bagels in The Woodlands but unreliable service that has had problems for decades.

I love Brooklyn Cafe and will edit this if they change this. The last 7 times I have been the bagels are never toasted. I have started asking for double toasted hoping to get something but the bagels look like they haven’t done anything to them. This is such an easy thing to fix. I hate sending food back so I just toast it at home but this is so frustrating wanting to sit at the cafe then having to leave. Even if it takes longer please just do it right. I don’t like leaving negative reviews but happening week after week please change this.
I placed an online order. It was not made correctly. Bagels not toasted and wrong cream cheese was added. Taste is okay but disappointed I got the wrong food.
Over hyped, the bagels are good but the spread was sad. I ordered everything bagel with veggie cream cheese but it was horrible, yellow, I asked if it was an egg salad instead. They offered me another, this time I asked for everything bagel with cream cheese and jelly and it was bland. I also ordered a blueberry muffin, very sweet and my hazelnut latte was good. I don't think I return. Im from Brooklyn NY so I had to stop by. Brooklyn deli bagel and all other food is only in NYC.

Got a breakfast wrap that was soaking wet from grease and ice cold the moment we received it. Not to mention it was super bland with zero flavor. Pretty sure the greasy bag it was packed in would have more flavor. Our “bagel dog” was a rock hard piece of bread with no sausage inside it. And the other two items we ordered we didn’t receive. We spent over 30 dollars on food that I wouldn’t feel comfortable feeding my dog. Save yourself the headache and stomach ache and go to literally anywhere else in the city for breakfast. Wish I could rate this place 0/5 stars
Really wanted to love these bagels. Being a New Yorker you know what a Brooklyn Bagel looks and tastes like. Ordered the Bakers Dozen through DoorDash only received 12 and they were hard as a rock, pale in color couldn’t even cut through them without a very sharp serrated knife. Tasted stale , ordered in the morning so in my mind they should have been fresh. FYI just because the name says Brooklyn doesn’t mean they are ! Not even close , honestly HEB bagels where way better ! The cream cheese spreads were really tasty.
Hands down the worst breakfast I’ve ever had. Ordered via DoorDash and not only were items missing (and no, our bag was sealed so it was not the dasher’s fault), the quality of the food was poor. No flavor, avocado toast was terrible, hash browns lackluster. Will not try again.
After going to 3 different places to get a bagel l was so excited to try Brooklyn cafe. I ordered on the app, a plain bagel with cream cheese drove 30 minutes home to open up my food and it be wrong. I called and they offered me a free meal but unfortunately I wasn't going to drive all the way back up there and they said they would email me a coupon and did not do so.
Uber eats order UBERFDD42 Andre C #176 10:20 AM. This is our third time ordering from them, but the second time our order has been missing parts of it & these are $100+ dollar orders. This is not acceptable. Cinnamon pancakes were missing & the Cinnamon French toast looks like toasted bread. The last time we ordered, my chai tea which I paid for the large size was half full& no icing on my pancakes.
