Very nice staff and good food. My wife loved the chicken soup and I really liked the shrimp taco and especial the taquitos
One of the best holes in the wall Mexican places you can find. It is traditional burritos and tacos: mostly with rice, beans, onions and cilantro. Best way to go. Been going here for the better part of two decades.
Obviously I have to give a 5 star to a restraint my uncle opened over 30 years ago. Great tacos. Great burritos. Great location. Clean restroom.
Been coming here for 25 years. It’s become a C- Baja Fresh. Don’t post prices on the menu and the carne asada plate is absolutely dreadful. $18 for a flat top grilled piece of flank steak with zero seasoning. This is not good. Anyone who says this carne asada is good is lying. This is garbage. Will not be back after too many chances.
I always get a wet carne asada burrito and I'm never disappointed! My family and I love ordering this once a week. Affordable too!
If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Delicious food fairly priced and so clean. I got the enchilada plate.
Was in the area for business and was looking for REAL Mexican food. Nice little spot. My chile relleno burrito was pretty good. Good size. Salsa recommended to me by the lady working there was amazing.
Ordered a take out lunch. Had the amazingly delicious chicken al pastor tacos and yummy chicken quesadillas for our pups 🐶 Very good hot fresh food and friendly staff behind the counter!
Food was super cheap, 4 tacos for 11 dollars and it tasted super good, chips came with the meal and they were also really good
A year ago I would have given it 4 stars. The food and service has always been great. I give it 5 now for one reason: burgers. They recently added burgers, and even though this is a Mexican restaurant, the burgers are better than almost any burger I have ever tasted. They are on par with some of the greats like In-N-Out. I reccomend take out.
The food is always amazing here! Great place to sit down eat whether by yourself or with friends. Having the option for take out is great for when you're rushing or want to get back and relax at home
Hands down best Chile relleno burrito and hard shell asada tacos. Chile verde delish. Wet burritos on a Sunday afternoon my fav. And as a previous restaurant owner, if one is a continuous customer in my opinion is best to address the management in person or by phone to rectify the issue instead of blast them behind a computer. @brendamontes
Love this place! Grew up going to the one in Newbury Park, but this is the last one remaining. Delicious food, good sized portions and great value. The carne asada burrito is 90% carne asada instead of 90% rice like a lot of other Mexican restaurants. The burritos are great! The plates are delicious and the tortas are packed! You can't really go wrong with anything!
Manny’s has incredible service and absolutely delicious food for a great price. I catered 2 times from them, once for 50 people and the 2nd time for 150 people and the food was on time, warm, and delicious. I highly recommend, the food is finger licking delicious!
Love the food here. Quality time and time again. My family has been coming here for many years. We come back for the wet burritos and enchiladas and their delicious red sauce!
This is a wonderful neighborhood Mexican restaurant. They are very generous with their meat, reasonably priced, and service is fast.
They have the best chile relleno burrito I have ever tried in California. The chili, tortilla and cheese was great with balanced proportions. They had very good service, the cashier was very friendly and I received my food fairly quickly. They have multiple beautiful drawings, with a green background that really makes the place stand out.
First time here and we were craving a chimichanga (not in the menu) they were nice enough to make it for us- Their final product AMAZING! We asked them if they can cut it in half, they went the whole 9 yards placed each half individually! Great customer service, great food, we will definitely be back!
Hands down best Mexican restaurant in the Thousand Oaks area. Pricing is great for the size of food you get.
It's a local authentic mexican food place that i feel more of the local ventura county folks should frequent. It's quite reasonably priced and far better than chain food.
It took me a while to find my Mexican food spot in the area since moving here, but happy now that I stumbled upon Manny’s. I’m trying as much as I can on the menu because it’s all so good but the pastor burrito, quesadillas, and nachos are among my favorites.
Family owned delicious food I highly recommend .

The food was amazing with good portions for a great price, it’s a nice atmosphere. You get chips with your meal. The workers were very kind as well
This place has the best burritos and Mexican food in town, and is always a local fav here. The staff is courteous and quick to get your order out. Restrooms are located inside, there is indoor/outdoor dining, and a drink and salsa bar too. I am always satisfied with my food, but feel the prices are a bit high. Portions are huge though, so I can make one burrito last for two separate meals. Great place to try!
I love the food here at Mandy's. I eat here at least once a week.
This was my first time visiting, and I really enjoyed my meal. The staff is friendly, and the food is delicious and authentic. It tasted like home-made Mexican food, just like how Mom cooked. I'm looking forward to coming again.
I have been going to Manny's since the 80's when it was in Newbury Park, and Manny still ran the place. Went there yesterday and had the Asada burrito....it was both gigantic, and tasted as good as ever. Awesome food for the price!
Absolutely fantastic! 🌮 The food was authentic and full of flavor, the service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere made me feel like I was in Mexico. Every dish was fresh and perfectly seasoned — especially the tacos! Definitely a 5-star experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I have lived near Manny’s for almost my whole life but only this year did I finally try it. Omg was I missing out! These are the best breakfast burritos in Ventura county. My hack is to add potatoes to my ham breakfast burrito (and usually remove onion and cilantro). The green salsa at this place should be bottled and sold. I’m simply obsessed. I’m so happy to have found a new local business with quality food, workers, and vibes!

This was the second time my husband and I had eaten here. The food was delicious and it was a very reasonable price for the amount of food you get. We will definitely eat here again.
Food taste good. Prices are right. The place is a place that I recommend.
Just stopped for a couple snack tacos. And a cold beer. Always good. Recommended, when you're in the neighborhood ✌️❤️🇺🇸
The stuff was super friendly and really great to us. It’s a nice little place seems really popular. The food is good and at a good price. I wasn’t too big of a fan of the fish but it just wasn’t what I was used to. My husband loved the carne asada wet burrito.
Their pork tacos taste fantastic. Update (6/11/2021): I have been having a difficulty communicating with the staff recently. I just ordered eight pork tacos, but Michelle has a Spanish accent which I couldn't quite understand. She didn't seem to understand me, either, because I received eight beef tacos. We have a large Hispanic population in this neighborhood, and I'm sure that most people have no problems with understanding their accent. However, I have a very difficult time understanding some accents. Although I strongly dislike walking away with food that my family and I didn't really want to order, I feel like this place would deserve five stars if they could improve communication with customers like me. Their pork tacos really are delicious, but we didn't think the same of their beef tacos.
Nice place. Quick service, large menu I got four chili verde combos, everyone enjoyed it
Quick and affordable, people are always nice. Carnitas is a little too cinnamon (?) for me but not terrible . Hard shell tacos are really good and the perfect size. Everything I’ve had is a little salty but hits the spot.
Very good place for tasty Mexican food with reasonable prices. I tried Fiesta plate with taco, Enchilada and Chilled Rellano.Do try their Mojarra Frita with Mexican coke 😋

We had no idea this was here! The food was great! The breakfast burrito was really good and was so big you definitely get your $12 worth of a burrito. The taquitos were a tad too crunchy for me but were still good. My only con here is the hot sauce isn't hot enough! Thanks for having us!

Who needs decor or atmosphere when you get a fantastic breakfast burrito? Their carnitas are amazing as well. Great local spot if you're interested in a whole in the wall Mex spot!
I choose to pay for my food out of courtesy for there service as I was waiting in line I watched the cashier/waitress go from cash register to drinks back to cash register and then food. That's unsanitary to handle cash and then food. The cooks weren't wearing gloves so I'm assuming they lack proper hand washing between customers as well. For those reasons I wont eat here anymore. :(
Was there once. Nice environment. Food took more than 30 min and was cold. Waiter wanted to bring our drinks when we were ready to leave. Spoke to manager and she gave us 10% of the check. Food quality was the same as any Mexican restautant. Not going back.
Been going here for over 20 years. The food has gone downhill a little but the service is garbage. The last three times I've come in and ordered the woman behind the counter never says a word. Not a Hello, not a How are you, not a what can i get you... Just silence. So I order and move on. While waiting the next person comes in and she greets him with a warm "Hello, what can I get you" I don't know if I offended this woman in some way and she holds this grudge or if don't look like I speak Spanish but its extremely rude. Food isn't good enough to act like that.
Plenty of parking here and quiet after 1:30pm or so. I’ve been really wanting to find a good, local spot that has those delicious chiles rellenos, either burrito or combination plate but if you’re looking for that Manny’s Mexican Grill in Thousand Oaks is NOT the place. I got a big packed flavorless rice and bean burrito with a dab of chile relleno and lots of cilantro and onion, although their burritos are competitively priced at $13.49, this was a disappointing burrito. I’m still on the search for these delicious & flavorful chiles rellenos like the ones at Cuernavaca in Ventura although you almost have to sell your kid to afford one lol. Manny’s got a 2 star because the customer service of the girl over the phone when I ordered and in person was very polite and considerate. The portion of the burrito helped with the other star but this was ultimately flavorless on all 4 of the foods included in the burrito (Chile relleno, rice, beans, and salsa). This is probably why food trucks have taken over… I may have to go that route or pay $20 at Cuernavaca’s and drive 50 min… breakout the saving….ROAD TRIP…. 🤪
I love this restaurant but today Saturday 18 at 1:30 I went to to get thier Tacos dorados but I'm really disappointed because my daughter took a bite of one the tacos dorados and half of the taco she yelled MOOOMMM look there's a penny in my taco 😳😠 NEXT time gotta be more careful wen prepping the food because if my daughter would of ate it would of been a VERY VERY big problem not happy at all😠😠😠😠

Old hard shell cold tacos and dried out hard chicken. Wow. Shoul have checked food before driving home. Oops. Never coming back. Weird to serve food this bad.
Worst asada burrito I have ever had!! It tastes like they put some sort of a sweet seasoning in it...im from new mexico and this is not authentic Mexican food. I will never pay $12 dollars for a burrito from here ever again 🤦🏽♂️
Prices and food are inconsistent. Kimberly gives rude attitude when she herself can’t understand English questions. If you question there prices they lie and say it’s taxed, they removed the menu so you can’t see your being over charged: enjoy the tip I guess, by over inflating a bean rice cheese burrito for $9. Food taste old when the single man is there, the women cooks make the food better and cashier Jocelyn is more friendly. Check your receipts you will see what I’m taking about attached photos I’m more upset of the unfriendly attitude when my family and I returned. If you raised the price okay be transparent about it but don’t get angry at a loyal customer who just asked about it, being rude That’s how you loose business.
I bought a burrito while with my working buddies and I found a disgusting fly inside my burrito. I lost my appetite and I’m never going to eat here ever again. It was my first time eating here again after a long while since the first few times weren’t the best.

Ordered take out on a Sunday around noon. Not sure if we got the scraps of the week but the food was absolutely horrible. Might I say disgusting. I had the breakfast burrito with carne asada. All the ingredients tasted days old. Literally had burnt crisps of meat. The shells were stale. We also had shrimp tacos and thr guacamole and tomatoes had a sour taste. My husband said the chips were extra stale as well. I think they just served scraps today. Awful first time experience won't be back.
