Casa Mendoza Mexican Restaurant in Three Rivers is a fantastic spot for delicious food. The menudo is excellent, and the tacos are incredibly flavorful.

So glad we stopped here after visiting Sequoia NP! The food was SO good. Our server was so sweet and funny. We had a nice quiet lunch with beautiful scenery. Indoor and outdoor seating, good prices. Highly recommend!!

Who doesn't like to sit and relax and enjoy a great meal? Starting with delicious chips and salsa our meal was excellent. Full of flavor and freshness. A fizzy fountain soda is the perfect pairing. Highly recommend

I’ve been to Three Rivers multiple times but this was my first experience eating here & definitely not the last! The food was amazing from the chips & salsa to the main entrees. I got the flautas combo plate that comes with rice & beans & it was so delicious. It is a little expensive, but with the amount of food you get it makes it well worth it…We will be eating on left overs for the next day atleast. The service was also great & our waitress was very attentive to us throughout the entire meal. Great experience, We will be back!

Nice staff, awesome outdoor seating, the food is good (not great). Overall we had a great time. Don’t be in a rush though service is rather slow especially at busy times (which was fine with me).

Sweet spot. Nice patio. Friendly service. Perfect tacos and tostad. The chips are house made with corn tortillas— enjoy with guacamole.Bonus: they serve Modelo Negro. Solid meal. Arrived around 4:45. No waiting.

Nice outdoor seating, shaded well even on a hot evening. Service was VERY slow (to be fair they were busy), but friendly. Great chips, salsa, and queso (though queso was a bit broken). My partner loved their burrito. I tried their mole enchiladas (my first time for mole). I can't judge too much but I did think the sauce was a bit bland and the filling was just shredded chicken that was also a bit bland.

The michelada was absolutely amazing! The mole enchiladas were another standout. Unfortunately, the experience was dampened by one glaring issue, we noticed that all of the food was being heated in the microwave. It took away from the authenticity and freshness we were expecting, which was a bit of a letdown.

The waitresses are also the ones that seat you, but only certain ones. So half the waitresses will walk right by you, not say a word and you're tempted to leave due to the horrible service. After a while of just standing there one kind waitress finally spoke to us and got us on a list for a table. Service from there was okay and the good was about the same. If you're needing dinner for more than one night, maybe go here but if you're just looking for dinner for one night highly recommend the gyro place. I understand they were busy but it doesn't cost you a thing to tell a customer someone will be with you shortly.

Took us 2 hours to get food. We understood, they were extremely busy. They first offered our party of 5 a table for 4 unless we wanted to wait longer. Obviously we will wait. We finally sit and order and I get the fajitas and it seriously looked like someone's left over plate. It was embarrassing. I would be embarrassed to serve what I received. My son had 3 chicken strips and only 1 was edible because they were so over cooked. When we complained about the food the "boss" said, "we're trying to run a business here, and you chose to wait". Choices are extremely limited, but go elsewhere. The pizza place next door is superb and there is a market next door as well.

The ambiance is nice. There wasn't any music and the cook's music was soft enough for guest to relax, which is good after a long day of hiking The decor is a mix of the Sequoia National Park and Mexican culture. It is family friendly and wheelchair accessible. The food was below average Tex-Mex, definitely NOT "authentic" Mexican Cuisine. The chips were a mix of chili & salt and plain. The salsa and chips were just ok. Shrimp Cocktail was prepared with shrimp cooked in plain water and add catsup and other ingredients. My husband didn't like it. The fish taco was bland - it had no taste, the same with the green salsa on it. The tortillas used for the taco were stiff/hard. I ordered the green chili, dinner combination. I didn't like any of it. I really tried to keep an open mind, but it wasn't good. I did like the "agua fresca" de jamaica, but I think it was prepared from powder mix. They have. Outdoor dinning and the whole place is wheelchair accesible, but tables are average height. Definitely family friendly.

We went without expectations because food close to national parks are rarely good, its main purpose in my opinion is to fill the stomach. Service here was really good. Servers were attentive. Outdoor seating is really nice and soothing. Food: Salsa that came with chips is either canned or jarred. May be a hint of some fresh tomatoes mixed. Fajita plate was advertised to have mushroom and Zucchini. My plate came with 3 slices of mushroom penny size, few sprinkles of Zucchini penny size, and remaining plate was filled with undercooked bell peppers and lots of onions. Veggies tasted fresh at least so that was good. Beans also tasted and felt canned texture. Veggie burrito was weird, it had everything from veggie fajita. Burrito wrap also tasted stale. Rice was also stale and dry. The problem is there aren't many options around, so we might still end up here in future but I'm hoping we are more prepared so we don't have to.
