Excellent restaurant, fabulous flavors of typical homemade Toledan food, combined with a wonderful atmosphere and unsurpassed service, the staff was amazingly nice, welcoming and kind. I don’t have anything to compare to but carcamusas is so good here. The meat is very tender and just right balance of spices. Also olive oil is the most unique I tried so far with a hint of bitterness.

We visited Spain for less than a week, from Barcelona to Madrid then finally a day in Toledo. Here was the best food and top tier service we received during our entire trip. Only wish Resturante La Manuela Toledo continued success!

Excellent service! As a tourist, I arrived just after 4 PM, when most restaurants stop serving meals, even though their hours extend until 6 PM. Despite this, I was warmly welcomed by two kind servers who, understanding my situation and knowing no other restaurant would likely serve me at that time, kindly asked the chef to prepare something for me. The meal was delicious, and their hospitality was exceptional. They also recommended some great beers and engaged in a friendly conversation about their selection. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Fantastic lunch at La Manuela! Adu was such an excellent waiter- he explained all of the dishes with detail- you can tell he genuinely cared about our experience! The portions are much bigger than we expected but the food was amazing! I think the Solomillo toast was the best! Check this place out if looking for a lunch or dinner spot in Toledo!

We dined here three days in a row. Every plate was delicious and the staff was kind and patient with our attempts to speak Spanish. Eduardo took extra time with us for the wine and the liqueur choices. We travel 6+ months each year, and the octopus was the best we have ever had. The venison and the steak were delightfully tender, and the sea bream filet was crispy and light. We sampled three desserts, and all three were exquisite. We really cannot say enough good things about Restaurante La Manuela, the food, and the staff. We saw the same high standards and the kind service delivered to the tables around us each night. They handled large parties as seamlessly as they did our party of two. If we were staying in Toledo longer, we would have worked our way through their entire menu.

Our tour guide recommended this restaurant as a local spot that isn’t as touristy as many others on the main path. This place delivered on great food and excellent service! Buen sitio para desayunar o merendar. El mixto con huevo muy bien elaborado. Pendiente probar algo más de su cocina. Los camareros muy atentos y amables. Local amplio con mesas de bancos y una mesa grande en el centro.

El menú estuvo correcto pero mejorable! Migas ricas, filete algo pequeño y tardaron en traer los segundos, con lo cual llegó frío. Y el vino y casera es solo una copa, no dejan la botella. La ubicación está genial! Si mejoran un poco puede ser el mejor bar en el casco de Toledo!

Las mejores migas de todo Toledo. Buena atención y buenos precios. No conocía este local, y me ha gustado mucho. Volveré de comidas y cenas. Solo un pequeño inconveniente, la música estaba tan alta que no se podía conversar.

Stopped in for almuerzo. Food is less than average. I would find elsewhere to eat. Carcamusa was dry. The octopus was overly cooked and chewy.

Estuvimos desayunando. Tienen buenas ofertas de tostadas, bollería o pinchos de tortilla con el café. El bar no estaba demasiado lleno pero fueron bastante lentos. Eso sí, amables. El pincho de tortilla estuvo bien, mejor de lo esperado. Con el café, fueron 4.50€.

El lugar está bastante bien para desayunar en cuento a ubicación y modelo de restaurante. Los puntos negativos son el servicio y la calidad del desyuno. El desayuno es muy básico, teniendo en cuenta la cocina y los camareros se olvidan de muchas de las cosas que se les pide.

Went here for lunch this week with 4 friends, I don't understand all the 5 star review. The server was friendly, and when we indicated we didn't speak Spanish he brought some orange English-lanuage menus that appeared to have most (but not all) of the same itrms, which was nice. We started with some large chunks of bread, olive oil and a special kind of salt that tastes like eggs (from the sulfur content) which was interesting. They also had a 4 or 5 different craft beers, including a 10.4% barley wine, which was delicous. However... When we tried to order I am pretty sure I pointed to a salad with Manchego cheese but ended up with some sort column of lettuce and peppers covered in a thick tomato sauce, topped with onions and tuna. I ate what I could (not including the tuna) but it wasn't great (or good) - I don't know if the menu was out of date or mistranslates or what. I also had the croquettes, nine of them (3 of 3 different flavours) - the ham and cheese were passably okay, the other two (oxtail and venison) were not good (mushy, kinda runny blobs of not good thick meat gravy). My friends had some of the same and the beef tenderloin with veggies, the veggies were good but the meat seemed under done and a lot of fat or grissle. They were having a serious struggle with it. Overall: if you were really hungry or really wanted this sort of food it would be alright, but I still wouldn't classify it as good. Certainly not 4 or 5 stars. The food did come out quickly though, so if you're on a tour and aren't picky maybe it's good enough?

Good Jamon and bread. The rest was really overpriced and nothing special. Good service. Asked for a salad with lettuce tomato and cucumber got lettuce onion and tuna, told they would not change. Had the octopus, definitely over cooked and the accompanying potatoes too salty to eat.

Entramos porque parecía el típico sitio de batalla en el que no comes nada del otro mundo pero se come bien y suficiente...pues nada más lejos. Media ración de calamares congelados y una tempura de verduras bastante caros...a euro por cada calamar congelado. Y mi sorpresa llegó cuando nos trajeron la pizza...llevaba años sin ver eso. Una pizza de supermercado, chiclosa y mal calentada...pues 15€. Cuando ves la carta no parece precios desorbitados, pero cuando llegó la comida me sentí estafado y engañado. Parece mentira que el local estuviera lleno. Yo desde luego, nunca volveré

Increible que haya sitios así. Nada más entrar y tras dar los buenos días dos veces, y pasados unos minutos, parece que ya nos quiere atender la señorita de cabello rubio. La pedimos café + tostada de jamón, y tostada + zumo de naranja. De primeras ya el café no me lo trae, bueno “despiste” no pasa nada, se lo vuelvo a pedir. Lo increible cuando nos trae la cuenta, 9,50€ la tostada más el café y 12,30€ un zumo en vaso pequeño y la tostada, (me dice que el zumo claro que no entra) no conforme con eso me mete a mayores, porque ha querido otros 2,80€ de otro zumo que ni he pedido ni he tomad. Me paré una tomadora de pelo esos precios, y ese trato. Desde luego que no volveremos.

Todo empezó correcto con una tapa con nuestra bebida, pero la cosa se fue torciendo, empezando porque el camarero al ver que se caía un tenedor en la mesa de al lado, se lo volvió a poner en la mesa, en lugar de cambiarlo. Cuando llegaron la sopa y los tallarines, la sorpresa seguía, unos tallarines boloñesa con carne inexistente y fríos, parecía que habían volcado el brick de tomate encima, la sopa llegó un buen trozo de cáscara de huevo, la cual el camarero al verla ni siquiera se disculpó. En cuanto a los Segundos, en mi caso el salmón estaba como la suela de un zapato. Los postres sin más, todo esto por 15 euros. No volvería ni invitado.
