Today we finished our evening meal at La Iguana in Toledo's Poli neighborhood. We've heard good things about this place; they say the burgers are spectacular, and since we don't want to be told otherwise, we're here for three times as much. Easy parking, a very large, well-located, clean space, with a retro feel reminiscent of American movie cafes. A fair menu without any airs of grandeur. Whatever they have has to be quality, and that's the menu. While we wait for our female companion, we hydrate our gullets with a good glass of tinto de verano and a tea soda accompanied by pickles. It's a stop here, and Lidia gives us a drink when Yolandita arrives. 🥓Iguana Combo. Cheese fingers, chicken fingers, onion rings, and nachos with cheese sauce. A hearty dish, well-made, and very crispy. €18.50 🥗Salmon Poke Bowl. Quinoa, avocado, corn, pickled onion, wakame, oriental sauce, and sesame. €12.40 🍔The Big Lebowski Burger. Kentucky-marinated chicken breast with crispy breading, kimchi cream cheese, lettuce, and tomato, served with Cajun spice bread. Served with fries. Delicious!!!, very well marinated and perfectly crunchy to the bite. €11.40 🐊Croc Burger. Crocodile meat, honey/mustard and mango sauce, mozzarella, lettuce, and tomato. Served with baked potato wedges with piquisimo de gallo sauce. €15.40 These people call our sweet tooth homemade desserts, and if there's French toast... 🍞Homemade French Toast. Caramelized with meringue ice cream. At Tol bebe direct. Goodbye to the light, what a delicious thing!!! Very fluffy brioche bun, well soaked, and piping hot. €5.80 We left dancing the conga line to the rhythm of Jalisco!!! Our expectations were met; recommendations are a given, and here they are true. This place knows what it's doing; they move very quickly, and the timing is very tight. Perfect ingredients, breads from our dear friends at @panificadora_cantaelgallo, exquisite service, excellent customer service, and easy reservations. We ended up paying the bill for a reasonable €25/person. WE RECOMMEND AND WILL RETURN FOR THAT KANGAROO BURGER.

A pleasant place, decorated in a 1960s burger joint, with a cozy dining room and good air conditioning. Friendly service, quick service, perfect for those of us who love burgers. The prices are a bit high, but they're offset by the quantity served, with a wide variety of dishes. I recommend booking in advance, especially on weekends. I'll keep this in mind when I return to the area.

The place is beautifully decorated, reminiscent of the 1980s in the USA. We go there regularly because the food is very good, the service is fast and very friendly, and we think the value is good. We also think the olives are a great appetizer while you wait for your food.

A place with a very original American-style decor. We went for dinner based on reviews. They have a long and extensive menu. We decided to order the crocodile burger. The waitress, who was very attentive, recommended it to us. She told us it tasted like chicken (when the meat is hot) and as it cools, it tastes like fish. Indeed, it was a success. We really liked the burger. The contrast of flavors is just as she had indicated. It came with anything you might want (salad, deluxe fries, wedges, fries, etc.). We also ordered some starters that were very good. The price is quite good, in line with the quality of their products. Four of us went for dinner and left very satisfied.

Restaurante estilo americano años 80, donde destacan por encima de todo las hamburguesas. Nosotros hemos optado por la Django y los sabores ahumados, el pequeño picor de la salsa la carne, bacon y el pan hacen que sea una de las mejores de Toledo El combo la verdad que nos ha parecido prescindible , sinceramente. El servicio y la limpieza del lugar muy bueno también. Tienen otro tipo de hamburguesas "exóticas" que tendremos que probar en otra ocasión (cocodrilo, canguro, jabalí...).

Fui hace unos años y no quedé muy contenta con la atención, ni el servicio, ni la comida... Pero es un ejemplo de que hay que dar segundas oportunidades. No se si es que habrán cambiado de dueños, de personal....no lo sé, pero en esta ocasión la atención por parte de los camareros ha sido muy buena, muy atentos, simpáticos y profesionales. En cuanto a la comida muy rico todo lo que probé. Por cierto, además de la carta tienen menú, a mí el primer día no me lo dijeron y pedí de la carta pero el segundo día probé el menú y está bastante bien. De la carta pedí su hamburguesa y estaba súper rica, tanto la carne que estaba en su punto, como el pan super tierno...muy buena. El menú es como un plato combinado, tienes que pedir un principal y dos guarniciones. En el precio entra el pan, bebida, postre o café, todo por 11€ Muy rico todo. Eso sí, ojo que cierran a las 16.00 y luego vuelven a abrir por la tarde. Desde aquí les doy las gracias porque a las 15.50 sirvieron de comer a la persona que me acompañaba y esperaron a que terminara sin prisas (lógicamente no sabíamos que cerraban a esa hora) y con buena cara nos atendieron igualmente. Recomendable 100% Ah! Tienen una terracita que se está super agusto porque da la sombra y también se puede comer dentro. Y cuando vas con peques....tienen tronas y cambiador en el baño 👏

We were recommended this place. We liked it because the food was plentiful and varied. The best thing about it is the variety of meats (crocodile, wild boar, etc.) and the affordable prices. They weren't serving pizzas that day. They also have a menu that's served as a sort of combo meal. What I didn't like at all is that the fried foods were a bit oily, and they could have seemed like "fritanga" if you've ordered a lot of them. Nevertheless, we'll be back.

The retro atmosphere of the place is a success and contributes to a pleasant experience. As for the food, the flavors were generally good. However, I think one aspect worth reviewing is the pasta, as it was ramen pasta instead of the traditional Italian style. While this didn't ruin the experience, it did clash a bit with expectations. Otherwise, everything was fine; I would return just for the staff's attention.

A bar with an 80s American theme, or something similar, very cool. They have a variety of dishes. I tried the kangaroo burger and the crocodile burger. The kangaroo burger wasn't anything special. The fries and other dishes are tasty. What I found excessively expensive was the vegetable dish; they charge you around €12 for a couple of vegetables, as you can see in the photo. The service is adequate. I recommend the cheese fingers; they're delicious, as are the carrot cake and the French toast.

I went to try the Crocodile, Kangaroo, and Wild Boar burgers, and the first thing that surprised me was the great and quirky American roadside diner atmosphere. It reminded me of 90s movies and TV shows, and I loved it. The service was friendly and helpful. A very attentive waiter served us and explained each type of meat. The burgers weren't bad, and I found the flavor of each meat to be quite distinct, but the overall taste didn't completely win me over. I would especially suggest improving the quality of the buns. I didn't particularly like the mixed appetizer platter; there was too much fried food. However, the desserts were excellent—truly the best part of the meal. The price of each dish seemed more than reasonable, even inexpensive, I'd say.

This is an ok restaurant that does predominantly burgers and pizza. The best thing they have is the veggie burger.

Acabamos de cenar y aunque estaba todo muy rico nos hemos tenido que ir a tomar el postre a otro sitio porque nos han agobiado las camareras, han venido como unas cinco veces a recogernos las cosas sin haber terminado de cenar algunas personas, no sé si necesitaban los cubiertos o necesitaban el sitio el caso es que nos hemos ido a tomar el postre a otro sitio porque nos hemos sentido incómodos
