This place is wonderful! The space is bright and clean. The staff was very friendly. We tried the veggie dumplings, scallion pancakes, sesame chicken, and the sesame balls. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious! I’m so grateful we found this place!

I'd highly recommend this place for anyone looking for quality food without excessive prices. Photoed are pork belly buns, beef udon, and general tso's chicken(comes with rice). The servers are somewhat attentive, but pretty friendly. For an open dining area, it isn't as loud in the restaurant as one may think.

Somewhere between a Tuesday and a food dream, I found myself whisked away to the magical land of OG Dumpling House in Tonawanda, NY — where noodles shimmer like golden threads and pork belly gets the royal treatment it deserves. I ordered my forever favorite: Singapore noodles, a veritable nest of spiced vermicelli that danced with hints of curry and a carnival of veggies. Every bite was a crunchy, savory parade — light as a feather but bold as a lion. But the real showstoppers? The pork belly buns. Oh, my stars. These fluffy cloud pillows cradled slices of grilled pork belly so perfectly charred, so caramelized and tender, I swear I heard them sing lullabies of crispy serenity as I took my first bite. They were smoky. They were sweet. They were absolute enchantment. The staff? As cheerful and warm as a dumpling hug. If you ever find yourself in Tonawanda with a rumbling stomach and a desire for something that tastes like joy and feels like a daydream, go here. Order what I did. It's environment is beautiful! They play modern music in both English and I believe it was chinese (forgive me if I'm wrong) The prices are great especially for the quality of food! Everything was fresh and delicious! I can't wait to go back! Highly suggest the pork and chive dumplings!!

so good. best authentic food I’ve had in a while and we got so much food for under $50 Pork & Napa dumplings 10/10 Beef Bao 7/10 (my first time trying Bao dumplings and I think I’d prefer the steamed soup dumplings) Roasted Pork Fried Rice 10/10 Veggie Lo Mein 100000/10 food absolutely smacked Best lo mein I’ve ever had and that’s saying something. I wish they had a location near Albany. I’m gonna miss this place.

Everything we ordered was delicious! Nice to have vegetarian options! I wish there was a vegetarian soup dumpling but there isn’t but that’s okay. The flavors in the dumplings and bao were perfect. There is a large variety on the menu so I have to go back to try things I didn’t.

Here's the thing. I have now been to the OG Dumpling House three times and I am going to tell you: get. the. dumplings. There is a reason they are named this way. The first time I went wasn't a hit for me- our service was a little slow and I ordered a dish that wasn't very flavorful (OG Peanut Noodles) but the last two trips (only a week apart?) have beyond redeem things. Must haves: pork belly buns and the house dumplings pan fried. We tried two kinds of bao and they were both good! I liked the BBQ pork best and my sister liked the beef (which is curried). Bao dough is fluffy and a little sweet and GOOD, and feels like a new experience (for me, it was, and I think the recipe combos are unique). The scallion pancake was a little greasy for me, but the dipping sauce was DELICIOUS. The general tsos is not something I'd normally order but once you see someone get it, it's nearly impossible to avoid and is for sure the best I ever had. All in all, most of the food is incredible. The people working here are always kind and responsive and keep our waters full regularly which is helpful because the food is so good I have burned my mouth twice trying to get it in my mouth. There are plenty of tables and a parking lot!

I don't have great pictures because the food looked so delicious I forgot to take them before we started eating. Everything was amazing, our favorites were the beef bao and the pork pan-fried dumplings. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious - also you absolutely have to try the sesame balls for dessert. The service was excellent, the restaurant was super busy and there were only a few people working and they did an outstanding job keeping up with our order and making us and seemingly everyone else very happy. I can really see why it gets so busy here, definitely a must-try!

Made a quick trip here for lunch. Unfortunately I did not try any dumplings (shame on me 😅🥹) however I did get the crab Rangoon, sesame chicken, and an ice cold Coke. The vibe in here is super chill and laid back which I enjoyed. I was in and out within 30 min or so. I very much enjoyed what I got. It came out hot and fresh. The server was very friendly and efficient. I’d love to come back again and actually try some dumplings 😁

The room was not completely filthy, but it wasnt exactly clean either. The sheets and pillows looked very old, they had holes and were a little ragged. The bathroom door would not stay shut no matter what we did and the only soap in the room was a teeny tiny bar of facial soap. It smells like cigarettes so strongly in the room that the smell will linger on the clothes you wear. The tv in our room didnt have a remote. It is livable for something cheap, but definitely not high quality at all. Definitely not worth any more than 50$ a night.

Most rooms are single-bed queen. The rooms need to be cleaned more thoroughly. Front desk staff isn't customer satisfaction oriented. Most bathrooms have been renovated within the past 6 months. Definitely room for improvement in every aspect considerable!

It was a nice place. Nothing fancy by any stretch but clean and comfortable. We stayed 2 nights. The owner was friendly when we engaged him. We went to Niagara Falls and this place was about 25 min away. Easy to get to and lots of places to eat nearby.

Deym! The towels they served got pubic hair as well as the bath tub! Jeez! The lights keeps turning on and off then the manager didnt do anything about it. Other than that the place was somehow clean and they were accomodating, i just didnt know if it is under blue light that we could see that the bedsheets have been changed.

Super overpriced for not even having coffee/tea in the morning nor ice. Comfy beds & pillows, but you have to have small or no bags because our door didn't open more than halfway due to hitting the bed. It is within walking distance from a tasty sub place though.

Room was somewhat clean. Very small. Definitely needs some updating. Doors are very loose, would be easy for someone to break in to and they still use actual keys for them. Checking in and out was easy and the staff was friendly, but we did notice the person cleaning the rooms smoking halfway inside the room as she went. Great location. Was able to get to everywhere we needed in under 30 minutes.

I had to stay here because I needed a last minute placeand everywhere else was booked. The room was really small. We could barely move in between the beds and the dresser. It looks like they they updated a little bit. The drain in the bathroom didn't drain so I had to stick my finger inside to pull up the drain. The towel rack fell off the wall. For a non smoking room it stunk like a smoking room. Bedding was clean. Towels were stained. One washcloth was once white but it's gray now. Really dark with little lighting. The ac was super cold but smelled like mold. I paid $160 while others here paid $50. I deserved better for the money I paid. The desk attendant was very nice and polite. Not too bad for a one night stay but I wouldn't stay any longer

Went to the OG Dumpling house today for the first time. The food was not bad, it was just extremely unflavored & mediocre. The workers were extremely kind, they just never came over to us after we put the food order in. The lomein & fried rice was pretty great. The dumplings were not anything spectacular. I would recommend everyone go to red pepper down the road, they have some great dumplings.

I came here last week and let’s just say Royal Inn BLOWS! Apart from being Inn the Niagara Falls area this hotel has absolutely nothing to offer. Let’s start with the room, extremely mediocre, but what makes it even worse is the cockers(Australian for cockroaches) in my room. There were tons of them and they swarmed me in my hot sweaty sleep. There were also THREE tarantulas in the bathroom. Two in the sink and one in the toilet. I was unlucky enough to find the one in the toilet. It still haunts me today.. The room also smelled of a musty horrendous odor, the smell tickled my nose hairs and rubbed me the wrong way. Anyways I will always remember my trip to Niagara Falls because of the sight, the scenery and the horrible hotel I stayed INN!

The lights were flickering and we noticed pubic hair on the bathroom wall and some got caught on the bath towels!! The carpets also felt like they had not been vacuumed. 🤮 This place could really use some help. We only stayed overnight (thank God!) so we did not complain.

My husband and I were trying to help a homeless woman out. She needed a place to stay for the night until she could get downtown the next day. Believe me, this place was not our first choice! When my husband went in to inquire about renting a room they said yes, they had one. Then he informed them it wasn’t for him but for someone else. They said they needed to see her I.d. So she came in to show her I.d. They changed their tune and said they had no room. Then they said they had no handicap room. She is hunched over. She wasn’t handicapped. I was so angry! But frankly the place reeks! And they are so rude! We did manage to find her a place that was better. I’m shocked by how many of these motels are just dumping sites for the homeless. I think we might not realize how many we see walking around are homeless. Let’s try to be a bit kinder to them. But I would never give business to this establishment! They are unkind!

This place is horrible. The room stinks, and I got bit up by bedbugs. The shower doesn't work, the bathroom floor was dirty, looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. Bottom line bedbugs, dirty, smelly. Stay at your own risk.

Our room stinks like OLD and cigarettes. I asked for a different room but they didn’t have any. So we checked out and was gonna leave and then they said we can find a different room. SHM…. We left to a different place without getting and discount or refund. For $150, not worth a penny. A waste of time, headache and $$. I highly NOT recommended.

Place is a joke. Over priced. I stayed while doing work in the area just needed a place to crash. Rooms horrible says newly remodeled. Must be 5 year old did the work. Check out the picture of bathroom tile. Rooms smell bed bed is 199 bargain special. Guy at front desk is rude and inconsiderate at best. Would not recommend this place.

BEWARE...this is by far the worst rooms, I have ever stayed in. this is starts from the reception to the rooms to check out. when we were checking in, the front desk person was the least reactive, very unprofessional & very rude. the room we got was not at all like the ones we saw online. as soon as I entered the room, it stunk of cigarette smoke & when I told the guy at front. his response was that it's a non-smoking room & that smell was from the room washing. I mean it was a tell-tale smoking smell. & then the front doors lock gave out, when we gave it to his notice, he said it's fine & that it will work. it was the worst service by far. & the sheets in the room we got, one word...EWW. don't follow the pics on any booking sites, they don't have those colored beddings, they were standard whites. the worst part was that they were messy as if they threw on sheets from the floor. those sheets had black marks. on check out, he wouldn't say anything. all he could very do was nod. overall...don't fall for these rooms you see on the pictures. if I could I would give them none or negative stars but I'm forced to give 1 star. never am I going to stay here again nor am I ever going to recommend anyone to this hotel. the worst hotel & management in my experience.

Lung cancer! Yes, if you smoke this is the place! They say if you smoke in here they will charge you $200! BS! I don't smoke & I hate smoking. I walked into my room and was hit with the smoke. If I didn't drive for 10 hrs I would've gone somewhere else. The room is dirty. There is nothing positive about this place. Do not stay here. I travel around the US and this is one of the worst places I've stayed at.

I arrived here at the hotel 3 hours ago, I can only say STAY AWAY The bathroom door was unable to close, the room is dirty, no towels, bed pillows had bad smell, room plug in deodorizers are unable to hide the smell of smokers past in this claimed smoke free room. I gove strong warning mot to stay here.

This place was so terrible. The pictures were ok on the website and for the price we thought it was a good deal, but when we saw the place it was shabby and when we walked in the whole place was smelly, dirty, and dusty. We decided that because of this whole pandemic it wasn’t the best decision to stay here especially since we have four children. A female staff member was also incredibly rude. Do not recommend.

Who's there about a week or sell out absolutely discussing seeing the friend. Air conditioners not work right with filthy old. The room smelled awful. No breakfast in the morning or coffee. Should be more like $50 $60 a night. The coverlet on the bed was filthy dirty and stunk. Would never stay there again absolutely disgusting everything was leaking and very damp.. spend an extra $30 and get a real room.

They have ignorance with them the moment you in the door one who can actually speak to people with minimal rudeness. Its sad how they have their whole family living at the motel and show them how they treat us or try to treat us like trash. Need to shut this place down. Its more like a family stay location for them. Nasty service like they wont see people out in the real world. Just sad how they come here with help from us and have the nerve to down on people.

Room 139. I woke up to bed bug bites on my foot and arm. The bathtub was backed up and the place didn't look vacuumed. Moldy in the corners, in the bathroom. They were going to charge us 50$ extra for a non smoking room which is completely ridiculous. Especially since their upkeep is always terrible. The comforter has cigarette holes, as well as on the sheets. They're scamming people left and right.

We walked into a very hot room where the ac was off. I turned it on and it was SO loud. It sounded like an old car sputtering. We left and came back hours later hoping it would be somewhat cool and it was still so hot we had to sleep on top of the covers and woke up sweating. For 150$ it really leaves us feeling ripped off. Working AC is a must and whoever cleans the rooms had to have known the AC wasn’t working.

Absolutely the worst place i have ever stayed. Their housekeeper stole our stuff and there was zero resolution. Called the owner for a refund for tonights stay and he threatened to call the cops on us. Absolutely horrible. Pretended to paint our room which they did not and didnt even inform us just so they could take our stuff.

Ordered Sesame Chicken and received sweet and sour chicken. It had very little flavor. Scallion pancakes had ZERO flavor. They were straight up oily. Beef Dumplings tasted like they were microwaved. Never ever going back. I give this place 6 months. There is no way they will last with food of this quality.
