Excellent coffee in the heart of Crocetta. Everything was excellent, from breakfast to aperitivo. The place is beautiful both inside and out, and there are plenty of tables where you can sit and relax. I especially recommend it for the aperitivo, which is delicious and plentiful! The prices are fair, the service is fast, and the staff is courteous and professional. I will definitely be back and highly recommend it.
Very nice place, great selection, a lot of light inside
Good place for a coffee! The cornettos with fillings are also good. The staff is very nice!
very good bar in Crocetta district. very good staff open 7 days. worth going
Today I had breakfast, a latte macchiato and a walnut braid, but other times I've come for aperitivo and have always had a great time. A wide selection of single-serving desserts and excellent appetizer platters to enjoy with appetizers. The lovely outdoor area is always very busy.
We're located in the heart of the "Crocetta" district, nestled in the famous market of the same name. A well-stocked bar offering sandwiches, toasted sandwiches, desserts, and even small plates for lunch. At aperitivo time, the bar will satisfy all your expectations. Generous portions, quality ingredients, and a friendly, professional staff. A small indoor dining room adjacent to the bar offers a selection of sweet and savory delicacies; a spacious outdoor area is also available.
This bar is located in the heart of Crocetta, just steps from the market. The place is very cute, but honestly, the prices are really high, considering the quality isn't even that great. The only downside for me was the service. Even though there weren't many people, we had to wait quite a while both to order and to have our table cleared. Unfortunately, it wasn't a great experience.
Wrong order and a €0.50 surcharge (reported to the cashier, please) on EVERY drink. It's fine to apply it per person, but if I order a coffee, a croissant (3 wrong orders), and a glass of water, I find paying €1.50 more per person absurd, to say the least. Under the previous management, this kind of service wasn't reserved for regular customers of breakfast, aperitifs, and lunches—customers they've obviously lost.
Bad, bad. No prices displayed. Dirty glasses, barely drinkable wines. Insistent service, they try to sell you more items several times. It wouldn't take much to bring people back.
I've been to this bar several times. The service is poor and the staff is rude. There are much better places in Crocetta.
We ordered several drinks for brunch. Among other things, we asked for two zabaglione. We were brought two cups of warm vanilla cream. We politely asked if there had been a mistake and were rudely and aggressively told that their zabaglione contains neither alcohol nor eggs... what kind of zabaglione is that? 😂 We were then laughingly told that "they sell tons of it" and if we didn't like it, it was our problem. High prices for an average quality that was acceptable but not great. The space was cramped; our table was literally less than 50 cm from the closed bathroom door... when it opened partially, it banged against it. Short wait. The only bathroom was small.
Terrible management. Never a smile, crazy prices for the quality of food they offer. I had a coffee for €1.80 and a croissant for €2.20. They charged me for table service that wasn't there! Terrible!
Worst place in Turin, without a doubt. They literally ruined my breakfast. After more than eight years in this city, I've never seen such rudeness and disdain towards customers. I waited over 30 minutes just to order 🙂 No one ever came. A place that presents itself well but hides shameful service and arrogant people. If I could give it a negative review, I would without hesitation. Avoid it absolutely.
Two cappuccinos with soy milk, one of which was decaf. The first arrived overflowing, as pictured (in a normal café, I would have expected them to point this out in my face; I didn't ask to avoid an argument, given the way we were treated over the second cappuccino). The second came with cow's milk. Accustomed to previous experiences, I asked before drinking if it was soy, and the waiter told me they'd misread the order. Not content, he asked if I really couldn't drink milk for some reason. I asked him, with all the politeness I still had, to refill it. We were drawn in by the high-sounding sign, which described the café as a boulangerie. Well, let's just say the standard was quite low.
At the café in the Crocetta market area, you'd expect significantly higher quality products. The brioches, even the filled ones, were practically empty. I also tried the coffee cream on another day, and it arrived completely melted, practically cold liquid coffee with a strange taste (overpriced for the quality).
I recently had the opportunity to visit the Boulangerie Cafe, and unfortunately, I have to express my overall disappointment with this establishment. I'd start with the price of the products offered, which I honestly found excessive. Despite the high price, the quality of the products was only average, in no way justifying the high cost. I'd like to mention one incident in particular that left me extremely dissatisfied. I purchased eight biscuits for €14. It's undeniable that this amount is considerable for such a modest quantity of products. Even more unacceptable was the staff's reaction when I asked for a receipt for my purchases. They refused my receipt, which is unacceptable behavior for a business. This rude and unprofessional attitude further degraded my overall impression of the establishment. It's possible to find places where the quality of the food is superior and the prices are much more reasonable. Therefore, I will definitely not return to this establishment, and I advise others to carefully consider their choices before visiting.
