At here twice over two days. It’s where the locals go to eat seafood. Fantastic home style fishing village cooking. Fresh fish, squid and prawns, perfectly fried. Fried sardine dish is some of the best I’ve had in Europe.

Had a fantastic lunch here before our kayak tour, we got here right before the lunch crowd came in and were seated right away. Servers were attentive and the food was delicious! We were in Italy for several weeks and this was probably one of our top meals of the entire trip!

Had lunch with my wife here today. The food was phenomenal, we started with calamari and prawns which were tasty, light fried, with some fresh lemon squeezed over the top. We followed up with the selection of fresh local fish and the lobster spaghetti. Both dishes blew us away as well. And throughout our dining we got to enjoy watching a movie/tv show shot in front of us on the wharf.

We chose this restaurant since it was so crowded during the lunchtime. We ordered mussels in tomato , grilled seafood and fried seafood. They all were absolutely delicious and we were very satisfied with our choice. We got our table just next to the beach, so it was lunch with the great view. Unforgettable experience with view, food, and atmosphere. If I had chance to come to Sorrento in the future, I will definitely drop by again !!

It was so, so, SO wonderful! Great flavor, great portions, great scenery, and great staff. The walk up and downhill was very much worth it! We wish we could go back to Sorrento for this food alone!

Food was ok but a bit pricey for the quality that we recieved. The octopus was really good as well as the grilled seabass! However the other grilled seafood items were a little overcooked and the seafood pasta was a little dissapointing, flavor-wise. We had to add salt and pepper it. The Sorrento lemon delight cake was just ok. Not worth the €7 in my opinion. The staff was friendly.

The food is fantastic, homemade, tasty and full of flavor. No wonder they appear on every list of “where to eat in Sorrento”!! Definitely worth the walk down and up to Marina Grande. As it’s good food and a good spot overlooking water, the service is very quick, as soon as we sat down they asked if we were ready to order and within 9 minutes we had our 4 dishes and drinks. They did not push us to leave at all (we were not overlooking the water). Great place and is the only restaurant I went twice while in Sorrento. The Scialatielli ai frutti di mare are a MUST!

The food is just okay, nothing memorable but the oceanfront setting is real draw. You’re mostly paying for the view, not for the meal. Great for sunset dinner, but don’t expect to be wowed by the cuisine.

Found that spot near the sea and thought to give it a go. Menu looks heavily seafood based, which is absolutely fine and even expected to be honest. The menu did mention (in fine print at the bottom of some pages) that some seafood might be frozen — just not on every page. Naturally, when it wasn’t mentioned on the first course page, I assumed the seafood would be fresh. So I ordered the seafood risotto, and my partner went for the fresh seafood pasta. Oh wow, €30 for a risotto with frozen, chewy, flavorless ingredients? What a steal! Only King Prawn and mussels seem to be fresh. And the seafood pasta? Sure, the pasta was fine — shame the seafood tasted like it took a detour through the freezer aisle. Tried this place once and would not come back. Atmosphere is nice. House wine good. Location good. Service could be organised better, waitresses were friendly.

Honestly one of the worst pastas I’ve had in whole Italy. Definitely overpriced as well. Lobster pasta is over salted, impossible to eat, didn’t even finish it. Seafood pasta had a horrible slimy sauce. Cannot understand the popularity of the place. Not even once the waiter checked if we are okay and the food is fine. Only the atmosphere is as nice, but is not an achievement of a place itself, street music was the only thing saving that disaster.
