It was a great meeting place to see great friends. I was delightfully surprised to be invited to eat here. The parking was fine. The food and service were great. The lunchtime meals were well designed for variety and were all well-apportioned. It tasted and looked all fresh. From the warm bread and olive oil starter to each salad, pasta, sandwich, etc. If I lived in this area, it would be a staple place to eat. Otherwise, make it treat and head on over, You’ll enjoy it!

Gaetano’s Restaurant is one of the best Italian spots in the area and my go to neighborhood Italian place. It’s perfect for a date night or a get together with friends. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a simple yet elegant table setting. The service is top notch, and the staff gives great menu recommendations. The dishes are absolutely delicious, made with fresh ingredients, and full of flavor. Quick tips: They can accommodate parties of up to 25 people. Plenty of parking is available in the plaza. Reservations are recommended, as it gets packed during dinner. This place has been a local favorite for nearly 19 years as of 2025!

If you have been wanting to give this place a try, GO! I have wanted to try Gaetano’s for years and I finally did. I absolutely love this place. We went two weekends in a row. The walkway leading up to the restaurant is a beautiful pash with a view of the front patio seating. I highly recommended patio seating for a date night. It’s has beautiful outdoor lighting, heat lamps, and semi-private with decorative bushes creating a border from the parking lot and walkway. We have tried all the cocktail drinks in the menu, and let me tell you that all of them are delicious! The bread served is freshly baked and it is served with olive oil and herbs. Every dish that we have tried, we fell in love with. I can’t describe how magnificent the food is. Just try anything! You won’t be disappointed. Service has been great, from the hostess to the server, you can expect to be well taken care of. Few things to note: try making a reservation through open table, it can get busy. Outdoor seating is best for a more private/quieter experience. There is no room to wait inside. Inside is very loud but perfect for families. Only two restrooms (one per person ).

What a lovely experience we had here. We were in a rush to get seated but there was a 30 minute wait for a table so we looked over at the bar and there were two empty chairs. They offer their full menu at the bar so we made a good decision to sit where the locals sit. Two ladies, who were regulars, had the most welcoming invitation to sit next to them. We had the seafood pasta, the special pasta, and artichoke hearts. The special was a meat sauce pasta with short rib, meatball, and sausage. Everything was delicious. The female bartender was super friendly and the atmosphere of the place is just everything you would want in a restaurant. My new favorite spot in town.

Very pleased with our first visit. The “Grilled Salmon with the handmade Tagliatelle pasta & the veggies” was super delicious 😋 as well as the fresh baked bread. The “Nutella bread pudding” we had for dessert was also amazing. The service was excellent, very attentive staff and helpful with making our meal choices. This place is very clean, welcoming and friendly. The ambiance is lovely. I’ll be back soon to try more of your yummy food. Thank you for the great experience, Gaetano’s. We loved it❣️

High Quality ingredients. Delicious salmon. Perfect asparagus! The pasta was al dented. The white sauce was not the best I've had but it was tasty and held when microwaved! All and all a delicious meal!

A bit loud and boisterous but the food was decent; excellent pizza. Homemade pastas are nice, too. Not pushing the envelope, just dependable Italian classics. Service was prompt and attentive despite the restaurant being full.

Our first visit to this Italian restaurant in Torrance, which offers indoor and outdoor seating, was very busy even though it was a Friday dinner and we had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated. The restaurant environment is good. Although there are many tables, there is still a certain distance between them, so it is not too cramped. The waiter's service was also very friendly and efficient. Since we didn't know much about the place, we only ordered some common Italian dishes. The ravioli and Italian pizza tasted good, but the chicken breast pasta was a bit ordinary.

We ordered lasagna and linguine pesto with chicken. I can say the pasta was undercooked for me and wanted it to be more cooked. It’s sause was good. Lasagna was cooked well but I didn’t like the taste of the sause and ingredients. My friends also ordered the same thing and had the similar comments. The bread and oil as the starter was so good. The environment was cozy and nice. The waitress were so nice.

I ordered via DoorDash and this order was ready and delivered so fast. It came hot and delicious. Highly recommend. Lots of flavor in the lasagna and the salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette was really good. Cheese bread was about what you’d expect. I’ll order this again.

Gaetano's is an Italian restaurant. It has a nice atmosphere. There is an ample free parking and an outdoor dining area. Service was friendly. The waitress took our order verbally and forgot to bring one dish (and we were not billed for it). The food was elaborate and fair quality. We would appreciate stronger flavors for lasagna and more sauce on pizza.

Every time I go here I order the Chicken Marsala because it is free range chicken and it’s cooked to perfection. It is so tender you can cut it with your fork and the Marsala gravy is the best I’ve had, BUT not this time. The chicken was tough and the gravy was watery. And it’s served on a plate with your sides - pasta and broccoli- which are then soaking up the Marsala sauce! I convinced my friend that it was so good, so she ordered it too. I felt badly that it wasn’t good. I was going to contact them privately, but they don’t have contact info on their website.

Old school Italian that didn’t deliver. Made a reservation for 8 pm on a Saturday night. Showed up 5 minutes before the reservation and took 20 minutes to get seated without any apology. Then took an additional 15 minutes to get bread service and drinks after we sat down. The best thing we got was the wedge salad. Calamari dish was confusing for an Italian restaurant-tempura battered with an Asian sauce…it wasn’t great. Then got the chicken parm and bolognese(highly recommended by the waiter). Both were mediocre at best. Chicken parm wasn’t crispy and chicken quality wasn’t great. Pappardelle pasta in the bolognese was a bit over, the meat wasn’t tender, and sauce was nonexistent. They are trying but nothing was executed well. I won’t be back.

The server last night spoke so fast on the special that we we didn't even get it? We ordered 1 water and one tea he brought 2 teas and charged us? I ordered the Butternut Squash with extra sauce on side. when it it came they were all bunched in the middle of the plate with little sauce. While my husband starting eating his dinner I had to wait for extra sauce. when he brought it I put some on top and he came right back to take the rest of the sauce I said NO please leave it? We also ordered the pear salad which my husband eats slow and the waiter wanted to take the the salad left off the table and my husband hadn't even finished??? The server seemed in a hurry the whole time and didn't make our DINNER much fun??? $85 worth and I even tipped him which now I think twice about??? Not going back sometime soon!!! Part of our payment was a Xmas gift card from my husbands friends who go there all the time???? We will make sure we mention it to them

The food was great and we really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, our experience at the front desk was disappointing. The staff member named Dia was rude and unprofessional when I asked a simple question. She raised her voice while speaking to me, which made the interaction uncomfortable. I hope management addresses this, as the food itself was excellent.The front staff member, Dia, behaved in a very unprofessional manner. When I asked a simple question, she raised her voice at me and spoke disrespectfully. This behavior was inappropriate, especially in a customer-facing role. I felt uncomfortable and disrespected. Management should address this immediately, as no customer should be treated this way.
