As others before me found, 'Everything about Christopher`s is first class.' The warmest of welcomes, friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble. Excellent food, whatever the menu. What more is there to be said.

After not visiting for a while we booked a table just incase we couldn't get in. The whole experience was first class we had homemade soup and lobster to start followed by pork medallions and ribs they were perfect,then came the delicious desserts.the staff are very attentive and the prices are very reasonable so glad we went.

Very nice restaurant, hidden away but very pleased we found it. Sunday lunch also good. Evening meal excellent. Nice atmosphere. Will be returning many times in the future. My 12 year old gave the thumbs up...which is equivalent to a Michelin star.

Would highly recommend this restaurant. Visited on Mother's day for a Sunday lunch and had a great experience. All women were given a small gift after being seated. The food was the best I have ever had, cajun chicken salad to start, roast beef dinner, followed by warm chocolate fondant and ice cream. Plenty of choice on the three course menu, and costs just 13.95 euro for the Sunday lunch set menu that we had. Amazing value for money. Staff were brilliant, very friendly, had a good sense of humour and left us to eat our meal in peace - they didn't rush us between courses or mither us to buy more drinks. A three course meal, three small beers and a decent bottle of house red came to just 59 euros. We came away happy, having had one of the best meals ever. Can't wait to go back to try some of the other dishes.

Another great Christmas lunch here. Attendance on Christmas day now become a tradition. Food as usual was excellent with a great choice and served by very attentive staff who contributed to the general ambience.

Being coming here for a lot of years and still find it very enjoyable. Was here last night with my wife daughter and two grandchildren we all had different meals with the exception of myself & the grandson who both enjoyed a sirloin steak , from the starters to the deserts & coffee everything was just right including the price & excellent service . We’ll keep coming for as long as we can

This is another top restaurant we have eaten here over the past few years and never had a bad meal. Staff are always well presented and explain all the special meals so well. Give this a try you will not be disappointed. A little bit more expensive than other restaurants.

What a gem of a restaurant this is. Had dinner there last night and found the food, staff and ambiance all excellent. Best meal (by far) in Spain since we arrived in this beautiful country 3 years ago. Hope to visit again soon. Highly recommend.

Wow what a place this is. Fabulous food and very attentive staff. Came here on friends recommendation initially for Sunday lunch. Three course for €13.95. All courses delicious Would advise booking Sunday lunch. We were so impressed we went back a few days later for dinner. Extensive menu choice and once again excellent food and service. Neil the owner/chef came out on both occasions to see how the food was. Cant say enough about this place Atmosphere food decor and friendliness of staff

Had a wonderful ladies lunch here today. . The food was excellent. All courses. They handled the numbers so well. The staff were great too. No complaints and I shall be back for more. At a very good price too. Loved the desserts, Bailey's & white chocolate cheesecake and Apple crumble were the favourites.

Been to this restaurant many many times and have never been disappointed. The food is superb and the staff are first class. The owner is always there and on hand to give a friendly welcome.

Waren heute spontan zum Abendessen hier. Sehr freundlicher Service und eine sehr ansprechende Küche für einen Donnerstagabend und ohne viel Gäste (leider!). Kann das meckern nicht verstehen, wir sind alles Ausländer, Europäer oder woher auch immer. Habt mehr Respekt voreinander und Corana gibt leider einige (auch) dumme Spielregeln vor.

As ever excellent sunday lunch . Chose off the xmas menu which included a drink. Turkey and beef were right on it! Nice xmas decs added to the festive mood.

Our lunch group has visited this restaurant twice in as many weeks. Very friendly attentive service. Food is served well presented and attractive. Quality is good as is the product. Food style is modern european,whith some inventive twists. Not the place for a cheap meal but is extremely good value. Service quality and value has been maintained in the 11 years we have been frequenting. Again another successful lunch date on s Sunday, service impeccable friendly and professional. New owners go out their way to give you an experience you will remember.

We visited for a roast Sunday lunch and had to pre book as it is very busy here. We weren't disappointed with the menu choice, the service or the price. The food was served on nice hot plates which makes a change and the staff were very friendly and attentive (maybe a little overly so at times). I'm not surprised it gets such good reviews and we will certainly be back to try something else another time.

Meehhhh.. not sure what all the fuss is about.. average... Went here for a birthday meal, first visit and the experience was very underwhelming.. The service could not be faulted, but definitely had better food. 2 of the party had meat dishes where the food wasn't hot. My wife had the tangine, which she said was simply bland. I had the smoked haddock, which was good, but was a microscopic sized serving. Desserts were also average, one of us had the panna cotta (I think) which was supposed to come with home made shortcake. It was a packaged coffee biscuit with the logo scrapped off it! Pretty dumb to serve it and at least not say something when we ordered coffees and they came with the same biscuits still in the wrappers and with the logo still on them. Not a place to rush back to..

We had booked a table for lunch and were seated almost immediately. I think the main issue is the slow service, we were waiting for ten minutes before we were asked what we would like to drink and then another five minutes before we were given menus. After a while our order was taken. When the starters came to the table I must admit it they were nice and the roast dinners were good but not great. The staff were very nice but, as I say service was very very slow.

Mixed review really. My meal pate and pork in cream sauce was very nice. My husbands steak carpaccio and lamb tagine were both very disappointing. The carpaccio was tasteless, in fact the texture was as if it had been frozen and defrosted and the lamb tagine the lamb was very tough and not slow cooked like a tagine should be. The service was faultless.

As an ex Head Chef I'm merely going to point out the good the bad and the ugly, The starters we had were pretty good but for me the pate was lacking in a lot Garlic port etc , didn't like the pickled cabbage with it, the main course lamb was tasty but the roast silverside didn't do it if I'm honest reminded me of thos takeaway meals u heat up in the microwave, the meat is cut very strangely and was tough , the fresh mint sauce and fresh horseradish were impressive Deserts were very good but please the coffee and latte were a disaster for me the latte was like hot milk the coffee was mor like hot water and granules bit like an Oxo, if these improvements can be made it will be much better and the toilets were impressive even down to the loo paper , not to pushed about ice cream fridges I. Restaurant but that's for another day.

This restaurant had popped up a number of times on facebook, so glad to give it a go after reading the great reviews it receives. There are two menus to choose from. The food is pleasant and cooked well, however I was expecting something a bit more exciting. No white wine by the glass meant having to buy a bottle, which made it rather expensive.

My partner had been to this restaurant a few years earlier, but had never had the opportunity to return. So in January 2023 we finally did. I thoroughly enjoy a lamb and so paid the additional 4 euros for a small shank. Big Mistake. Obviously cooked as part of a large batch, to the extent it was more the texture of Crispy Duck. 😡 Not what I would allow to leave my kitchen! The apple pie had subtle hints of apple flavouring, but we both left that. All in all, we both left very disappointed and it will be far longer than a few years before we return to squander money on poor cuisine, such as this.

Spontanbesuche in dem Laden, an einem Donnerstag, in der Nachsaison um 19 Uhr nicht möglich, wenn man nicht reserviert hat. Obwohl nur 2 Gäste anwesend waren. Ich werde diesen Laden nicht an meine Feriengäste empfehlen. Gibt genug Restaurants. Schade für Mar Azul.
