We went for Easter brunch. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious! It was a buffet. Every dish was terrific and they kept everything fresh and filled up. Just can't say enough about what a nice Easter meal we had!!

A very pleasant place to eat. Clean, beautiful color scheme, soft music in the background. The service was great and the food was fantastic. I had cheese tortellini Alfredo and it was the best I have ever had. My girlfriend had the mushroom ravioli and she said it was delicious.

Great service! I've been going here for 10+ years. The bartender Bianca is AMAZING. She never sits still and constantly makes sure all your needs are met. Fresh bread is rge best!

We eat here often. Not sure what the bad reviewed are beefing about Service is always excellent, and the food is consistently good. I usually have my old standby that I judge all Italian restaurants by - Eggplant parmigiana. The sauce is nice and sweet and the eggplant isn't sliced too thick and over-breaded. Service, price, and quality make a great go to for Italian food.

Our favorite go to and was not disappointed! Veal sorrento, lots of tender veal, nor paper thin layered with eggplant. My leftovers gave me 2 more meals. Excellent and our server was great!

First time here, $5 for a dozen steamers. A very good drink menu, great main course & good service. Make a reservation & plan ahead for a great meal.

Went with family to host an anniversary lunch for my husband's grandparents. The staff that assisted with the set up and took the orders were very helpful and friendly. The one who took our food orders had no trouble at all keeping everything organized for our large party of 25 people. The eggplant parm was wonderful too!

We had an amazing experience at our post-funeral lunch. Not only was the food spectacular, but Linda in particular made sure all food was prepared, ready, and that all beverage needs of a very "picky" party were met. I can't thank Linda and the catering team at Moscatiello's for making a sad day conclude so positively. Bravo!!

This placewas recommended to me by a colleague and I'm so glad they sent me. I've had the gnocchi and the shrimp champagne and both were beyond delicious!! And I have plenty left over for the next day. The wait staff is so nice and helpful. I can't say enough good!

Always a great meal had at Moscatiello's!!! Been going here for many years then moved away, nice to come back to. We got curbside pickup and it came out promptly. All the food was awesome with plenty of sauce and bread for everyone. Definitely drop in next time I'm in town.

We always enjoy the food at Moscatiello's. But tonight the service was above and beyond! From the upbeat hostess who even stopped at our table twice during our meal to check on us, to our waitress Alexis who was so outgoing and attentive. Great job everyone! Thanks for a great Sunday evening!

Fantastic service from Mimi! The food was very, very good. Veal Marsala was tender and the mushrooms and sauce were great. Eggplant parmesan was stellar. Thin slices, not over fried or greasy. Fra diavolo sauce was also good.

What more I could I say other than a fantastic place to get dinner, a drink or a pizza. Its the best. Service is great. Wonderful conversations. Can't beat it. Worth every penny.

I attended a work reunion lunch. There were 12 of us 50-70 year old women who it seemed were more interested in visiting than eating! Our waiter was personable and very good natured while we took our time getting settled in and ordering. The food was amazing. I'm not a fan of Italian food (apologies to my Nona) so I ordered an appetizer. Pork belly, roasted red peppers, sweet potato, artichoke hearts and asked for the addition of portobello mushroom to it. I enjoyed the Italian bread with butter and a sparkling water with lime as well. The food was excellent and plentiful and I took 1/2 home with me. We were seated in a private back room and it was prior to the regular restaurant hour of operation so we were able to stay and chat afterwards and then have our photo taken by our waiter for a remembrance of the occasion.

Since August of last year we have been searching for a dine-in, old-world, Italian restaurant. Driving in a direction we hadn't yet explored, this restaurant caught our eye. We were seated right away and the wait staff was very attentive. I had veal parm and my roommate had chicken parm with pasta. We started out with a nice antipasto. The food was very good. The only negative was the pasta wasn't salted enough. We can't wait to take friends there when they come up to visit.

Disclaimer: I hardly ever write reviews and I think this may be my first restaurant review: My family and I dined at Moscatellos Restaurant on Route 4 in North Greenbush this evening. I had Penne alla Vodka and my family had other pasta dishes with steak and shrimp. The food and presentation was very good, however what really stood out was the service from our waiter Eric. His was one of the most polite and professional waiters I've ever had, and the attention to detail was amazing such as bringing out my daughters dish before the rest of the table so she had time to eat, bringing "kid dough" so she could play with it while waiting for dinner, as well as ensuring our drinks and anything else we needed was accomplished. Just from the service alone, I'll definitely be back and recommend any of their pasta dishes!

Went out to dinner for the first time since February. Food was excellent. Our waiter was too. Plenty of social distancing. Was very relaxed atmosphere. Very different than a bustling restaurant at full capacity. You didn't have to shout to have a conversation at your table because capacity is 50%.

My husband took me to moscatelo's on Valentine's Day when we were dating and we've been going there ever since every Valentine's Day! We go on other days too but we make a point to definitely go on Valentine's Day The food is great The service is quick The atmosphere is cozy Thank you muscatellos!

Very nice dinner with 3 good friends. There social distancing policy was quite appropriate and did not take away from our dining experience at all. I had the Eggplant Rollantina and it was very good and the portion was very generous. My friends were all very pleased with their choices. Waitress was very pleasant. Highly recommend!

Second time here, second time completely satisfied. Brought my girl for Valentines day, the room was clean, spacious, the atmosphere was quiet, pleasant, beautiful music. The food was excellent, fresh, the chef took good care with his food. The wait staff brought the different courses out with enough time apart to enjoy each others company, and the champaign. The cleanup was quick, never empty dishes on the table for more than a couple of minutes. The wait staff was on point and polite, very respectful, top notch. I didn't feel pressured, rushed, nothing negative to say... it is five star service each and every time.

Food was great. Our server (Ben) was fantastic. The place started to fill up and he had a lot to attend to but he checked on us frequently and made great suggestions. Host jumped in to help out when things got busy too. And it was remarkably quiet even though it was pretty full. Wasn't expensive either. My wife and I had dinner, drinks, and dessert and it still only came to like $50. We will certainly be back.

A great Italian restaurant just outside of Albany. Reasonable prices and wonderful Italian dishes! You'll never leave hungry... always leftovers! Great cocktails and wines to boot. The staff is on point! Huge portions... enough to share... or don't. I have been here several times and it is fabulous each and every time.

I'd never heard of this place before. Went there for a bridal shower. Everything was awesome except I was the last person in line to eat and felt pressed from the waitress to hurry up to give up my plate because everyone else was done and she was cleaning up. Other than that, I thought she did a great job.

We had our family Christmas dinner here. 15 people, half kids. We had our own room, which had a Christmas tree. We were seated at a long table, which makes it hard to talk. People arrived at different times, so the staff kept checking in on us for drinks and app orders. Orders were taken by family, so checks were separated, no issues there. The Garlic bread was overly garlicky, so my niece didn't like it. She tried sharing it, but it didn't go over well. The other dishes were your normal fare.

Took another veteran their for his birthday. There were five of us in the party. The food was outstanding, great portions and fantastic price. Our waitress was outstanding! She was there with anything we needed and most of the time had already figured out what we needed before we asked. She was awesome! I would recommend this place to everyone and I do every chance I get!

Moscatiello is, by far, the most authentic Italian restaurant I have ever visited. My family enjoys dining there regularly. The staff is exceptional, and the food is nothing short of incredible, from the freshly baked bread to the appetizers and entrees. As a parent of young children, I appreciate that they also love the atmosphere and menu options. I highly recommend this restaurant. Recently, I ordered the Lobster Ravioli, which was rich in flavor and visually appealing. Their Lasagna, Chicken and Veal Parmesan, Fettuccini Alfredo, and Chicken Marsala are all outstanding, and even the kids' menu offers excellent choices.

We attended a birthday party for a relative here recently. Ample parking for all. The atmosphere and the room were perfectly suited to the occasion. We were served a family style buffet, which was Excellent, it consisted of sausage and peppers, eggplant parmasan, and chicken marsala. The waitress was friendly and attentive and always there to assist as needed. The bread / rolls were warm and fresh. If I had to fault them for something, I would say that the salad was a bit bland and lacking an assortment of vegetables, also it's presentation was not as attractive as it could have been. Two choices of dressing and having to eat it off of plates instead of bowls is not horrible, but there is room for improvement. A Great Time was had by all, and that was Priceless. Thank you for a wonderful memory !

Best dinner we have had out in a long time! Everything was absolutely delicious. Our dinners were to die for, delicious authentic Italian food. Chef's kiss🤌🏻 They also have an array of salad toppings, I chose portobello mushrooms and could not have been happier with my choice and now I don't want salad any other way. I have no idea how they don't have 5 stars - obviously some people just like to hear themselves complain. My husband and I cannot wait to go back.

J

I don't understand how anyone could give this fine restaurant 1 star or highly compliment it only to give it 2 or 3 stars. My wife and I were at Moscatiello's on Valentines Day and everything was excellent (as always!). They always give you plenty of food and it's a guarantee you'll have to bring some of it home. Our server, Amanda was professional and friendly and did a top notch job. I have been here many times, including a wedding reception and it ALWAYS rates 5 stars.

First off the staff were phenomenal, they were on top of everything as soon as I could even think of needing them. Perfectly accommodating and helpful. The food was excellent, I had the veal marsala. It wasn't overpriced but I know I payed for quality cooking. Me, my fiance, and her daughter were all satisfied and happy when we left.

We would like to thank the staff of Moscatiello's for providing the food tonight for a family holiday dinner at our house. We had lasagna, a side of meatballs and sausage, a huge anti-pasto with dressings, and their wonderful Italian bread and butter. In a word, the food was plentiful and delicious. They even provided us with serving utensils to help with serving the food. It was a huge time and energy saver to let Moscatiello's prepare the food for us. We know that food from Moscatiello's equals a guaranteed successful party. Thank you staff of Moscatiello's. Merry Christmas and happy new year to you all! 🎉. Over this past weekend we had an unplanned small group gathering & didn’t have the time to cook… so we ordered 5 family meal deals. We really enjoyed our dinner here! Our favorites were the lobster ravioli, shrimp imperial, and shrimp florentine. The blue cheese dressing on the side salads was also amazing (I think it's homemade). The bar area was a little loud/rowdy, but other than that, it was a great time!

Wednesdays, they have a $5.00 dz steamed clams appetizer so we finally took the short ride to a restaurant we've been fond of for years. Its always been a mainstay for family events and fundraisers but it's also a first class dining place. Happy hour prices for the bar patrons offer generous glasses of wine and 22oz beers for the pint price. The clams were amazing as was the fresh calamari with a spicy marinara. Also had the peperoni bread with marinara which was 5 stars! Great staff and service, plenty of parking. They have an extensive variety on the menu which never disappoints. Treat yourself!

Despite the heavy Northern West coast style rain that plagued our region last night, we had delicious dinner out with friends, which delighted us. Amongst what we enjoyed were a an appetizer of Portobello mushrooms and roasted peppers. These were delicious! The soup du jour was large bowl of Manhattan Clam Chowder, cooked to perfection. The main Main meals consisted of a “Steak Michael,” which was sautéed in a natural beef sauce with mushrooms, asparagus, tomatoes, artichoke hearts, and yellow peppers. A Lobster Imperial: 2 four-ounce lobster tails and crab meat, sautéed in a white cream sauce, which was delicious with generous proportions. And finally, a dish of Fried Sausage and Peppers, sautéed in a meat sauce with spaghetti, also in a meat sauce. That, along with a nice bottle of Montepulciano D’Abruzzo wine, and two bowls of steamed clams, which were only $5.00 a dozen on special, made for a delicious evening, along with a lively conversation peppered throughout. Despite being extremely busy, even for a 6 o’clock reservation on a Wednesday night, the service, largely performed by a coterie of young women who were very professional and quick, came quite rapidly and efficiently. Everyone was friendly, cordial and professional. I wondered why so many people were there mid week. The reason was that they have a periodic special on Wednesdays with steamed clams, which again were a bargain at only five dollars a dozen. Highly recommended. Buon appetito!

We are staying at the Holiday Inn Express a few miles down the road. One of the lovely employees at the front desk recommended this restaurant to us when we were looking for someplace to eat tonight. Honestly I always think twice about eating ethnic foods when I'm away from home but I looked up reviews and it seemed like a place we might enjoy. Decent atmosphere, really good service (thank you to our server Mike) and the food was really, really good. If we are ever in the area again we'll definitely be back.

The food was ok....nothing wow. We were seated next to a couple. the woman was clearly drunk and loud. Was disturbing restaurant would seat people near them when so many other tables were still empty at 6 pm. Service was just ok....annoyed by the waitress that forgot to bring out my salad and at end of the meal she felt cleaning off the table was more important than letting us pay the bill first and be on our way....she actually made us sit there while she walked back and forth cleaning the table of dishes. The proper way is to get you on your way....clean the table when you're gone. Wouldn't go back too soon. UPDATE 2026....I should of reread my prior rewiew before going back for another reservation. My ice tea absolutely had no flavor. Tasted the same as the water she brought. I had linguine with olive oil and garlic. I think they forgot the garlic part and added so much green unidentified seasoning, oregano?...basil?...Italian seasonings?...I couldn't tell but my pasta was very green. I ordered two meatballs side dish and they arrived cold...straight from the refrigerator? Maybe. My goat cheese salad was excellent and it was huge. Sauté mushrooms on top were warm and flavorful. My husband wasn't happy with his dinner at all. He got the lobster Imperial and he said it was very bland. The " cream sauce " was milk and pasta. He said we gave it another shot and we are done coming here. We didnt even order dessert.

Moscatiello's was able accommodate our family on short notice for a post funeral gathering for which we are grateful. Our server did an outstanding job in light of our large group. Well done!! The portions were large and satisfying. Our room was cozy, private and comfortable. Great fireplace.

First impression is very clean, well upkept, tasteful, simple, upscale decor. Friendly, attentive staff. Moderate pricing. I tried the Chicken Florentine. Just enough to finish the plate with a full belly. Flavor was okay but not enough of it. I hardly ever season my food at the table, but found myself using salt and pepper and even parmesan to get a little flavor out of the dish. The texture was a little too thin for my liking. Would have liked a little more roux in the mix. Overall, it was worth going to, but I'll try a different dish next time.

J

Was there for function, beer, wine, soda were included; but alcohol was not. Not a problem, however I have NEVER!! paid over $16. for a cocktail anywhere! I guess they have to pay for that new restaurant across the street.

A
Adam Stewart

They're moving in the wrong direction. Prices are much higher, portions are smaller, service is mediocre, and I felt "nickeled and dimed". After paying $130 for a bottle of wine, I was charged $2 for the extra sauce I requested but never received. Veal Sorentino was dry (thus my request for extra sauce).

Good Italian dinners and brunch buffet. Went there for Mother's Day brunch and they kindly accommodated our reservation for 7. We had regular breakfast items, all good. Wide variety of Italian American cuisine,we went on a Wednesday night which sometimes have five dollar a dozen steamed clams which is a great value.Great selection of options and fresh bread.A bit expensive but good quality food.I ordered tortellini with a red sauce and sausage, additionally ordered a small salad with a creamy Italian dressing.

B
Bear Kosik

Went for dinner with four others. Small garden salad was good size and tasty. Lasagna was a large portion and good. Veal Parmigiano was excellent and marinara was good. Mushroom ravioli were excellent. Lobster ravioli were great but were swimming in sauce that detracted from enjoying the ravioli. The lobster tail was cut in half but that didn't help with removing the meat nor did the coating of sauce on the shell. Struggled with one half and found the meat good. Could not extract the meat from the other half and besides it had weird black flecks on it. Italian steak was ordered medium well. Half of it was gray and inedible and was streaked with gristle. Restaurant removed the steak from the bill. Service was fine but the table was wedged in a space that required a lot of reaching for plates to get to the right diner. Haven't been there in years. This visit was for a special birthday, but only the company made it special.

C
Chris Labatt-Simon

We've enjoyed Moscatiello's in the past. The food is always pretty good here and you can't go wrong with their chocolate raspberry cake for dessert. However, the past couple of times I've been here the service has been very slow, the food has taken quite some time to arrive (we waited almost 40 minutes between our apps and main course tonight), the servers have infrequently checked our table or topped up our water or drinks, and they bring the card reader to your table when you pay the bill and the server hovers over you while you select a tip and sign. But the food is good and the prices are acceptable (a bit high but so are all prices "post pandemic"). We'll probably continue to go but it would be nice if they could focus a bit more on customer service. They had a big party going tonight but that shouldn't be an excuse for poor service in the dining room.

E
Edward Grant

Okay, this isn't going to be easy, because my experience was "checkered" at best. First, the food: Excellent! Top-shelf. Fresh and freshly cooked. Nothing microwaved, all oven-prepared. Recommend the food highly. Now, the hard part: the service. I was part of a large (16 adults, 1 'special needs,' 2 small children) family group. BUT we were expected. There were two other large groups and almost no 'walk-in diners. Our waitress was hard working and as attentive as she could be. BUT everything took forever to happen. Twenty minutes for the appetizers to begin to arrive. Thirty minute wait between the removal and the main course. Total time from start to finish: three hours and twenty minutes. Maybe it was an off day. I choose to remember the excellent food.

K
Kim Hayes (Glammyk)

The food was good. Placed the reservation and was could order from the regular dinner menu. however when we got there they had a four course holiday menu giving you the choice a 2499 or 3499. Lexington the waitress that we were told we could order from a regular menu and she said that they had over 300 reservations so there was no option to do that. It was mother's day and atmosphere was pleasant ... Could have not been so cold in dining. Service was why we choose 3 stars. Was very banquet style service.

D
Delilah Hulsopple

Regrettably, our dining experience this evening was compromised by poor service. As someone who has enjoyed your restaurant's offerings, especially the Wednesday clam special, I was expecting a higher level of service. My guests, who were visiting for the first time, may be hesitant to return due to this experience. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and take necessary steps to improve your service.

I’ve never been to an Italian restaurant who didn’t serve dipping oil with their bread. The waiter asked me what it was and pointed to a greasy dusty bottle of oil that was sitting on the table. I ask her to check and she comes back with exactly what I asked for. Now I wonder if she forgot or just wasn’t going to give it to us. The food was bland to say it nicely and well over priced for the quantity. We got full on the bread and water. The water offered more dipping oil and when we got our check, $6.00 each for flipping dipping oil!!! They won’t have to worry about my family returning ever!! We still left a tip but this review is the biggest TIP!

The Capital District has more than its share of excellent Italian restaurants. This is not one of them. Moscatiello's is a big place - several dining rooms and even more private rooms for parties. I suspect that the party business is what keeps them afloat. Meals are generous and reasonably priced, but the doesn't fare well compared with other Italian places. Sauces are plain - almost like they cam out of a jar from the supermarket. Pastas are ordinary. I've been there for a number of dinner meetings where the quality of the was not especially important. But I want good Italian, this is not the place I would go.

Food was great. What you would expect from an Italian eatery. The service was horrible. Was seated at our table and waited and waited for our waitress to come take our drink order. The table that was seated after us was given service not sure why on a Sunday night with 3 tables total ours was looked over. Dinner came, again great food. The waitress never came back to check on the order give us more drink. I had to go to the bar to get more water. Actually as I sit here and write this, I'm waiting for my check... Good food and would probably be better on a different day.

The food was okay/decent-which is the only reason it has 2 stars from me. The waitress Sophia needs to find a new job. People who were sat after us (with a different waitress) recieved their appetizers and then food before we ever recieved our appetizer. We ordered SODA, the diningroom we were in 1/2 full at best. It took almost 15 min before we got our sodas. Glad we didnt try and order a fancy drink or bottle of wine. Empty drinks through out our meal, we sat at least 1/2 an hour before another waitress who had tables near ours made contact, we asked her for our waitress, boxes and the check. Our waitress appeared, offering no apology, didnt ask how dinner was, if she could get us anything else etc she slapped boxes and check down walked away. We paid with a creditcard, she scanned my card handed me the machine to process my payment and walked away. Ironically within moments of setting the machine down she was back to collect it I imagine to see what her tip was cause she clearly couldn't care less about the service she provided. Unfortunately for her my husband and I always tip in cash. Tips should be appreciated and never expect but if you expect to be tipped you should earn it. If we had not spoken to the other waitress I am sure we would still be sitting there.

5 stars for food and no stars for service. The food is excellent. Had been here once before and service was excellent. This trip we were a party of 6 and they tried to seat us at the men’s room entrance. The host in his best patronizing manner reseated us when we asked. Didn’t appreciate the attitude. Then our equally patronizing waiter dumped salad dressing all over my pullover and pants. “Oh sorry.” Fortunately for him I was there as a guest of someone else. So as not to cause any embarrassment I didn’t walk out. But I will skip this place in the future.

Sharing our poor experience at the restaurant. Overall the quality of the food is fair/decent. It took over an hour to get our food after ordering. We watched several other tables arriving, getting their food and finishing before we even received our food. Now this could have an issue that would have been resolved with some sort of apology and perhaps some standard reduction in the bill or something. Neither the server or the manager (although both pleasant) didn't seem to understand what to say to customers in this situation. We had elderly people at the table and waiting that long for food is not easy for them. There was no explanation, no real apology, and no offering of a reduction of the bill or anything. All we received was "the food is coming". As a side note I found it completely odd to place a large metal container of water on the table without pouring the water for patrons. How many restaurants do you go into where they pour your water and make sure your glass is constantly filled? This is certainly not a covid thing...just odd.

Food was subpar, at best. Chicken Parm had no flavor and bland sauce. Veal Marsala did have good flavor but was so thin it had one side and oily. So many other better options near by. Top it off it is pretty expensive per plate, $64 for two dinners.

We were so looking forward to eating here, but were very disappointed. We all ordered soup pastafagioli, which was very good. However, it took so long to come out that they brought our main dishes while we were still having soup. My wife ordered red snapper franchise, which was very good. I ordered veal piccata, which was prepared OK, but was not tender at all, and not enjoyable - left have to dish. Our friends ordered Pescatore, which was not edible very salty, and they left the entire dish. Sorry to say we will not be Returning.

I’m giving this review with a heavy heart. We had our mom’s funeral dinner here on 5/2/25 and we chose this restaurant because our mom liked the food here. However after the terrible food and horrendous service we will not be returning to your facility. I received several complaints about the rude service and the way our guests were treated being rushed and the attitude of the waitress and then there is the food; the sauce was so salty several people could not eat it the chicken Marcella was nothing but sweet and the bread was moldy, I did give it to the waitress, it was just not a good experience. Unfortunately, The quality of this restaurant has gone down and as a result we will not be holding future dinner celebrations here again.

Chicken Limone, chicken was dried out/ tough. Would not order again. All else was fine, service + bread + drink. Now 2 months & gave them another chance. Chicken Parm : again Chicken dried out & tough. Sauce was bland, cheesecake was watery. We spent $110 & the issue is poor quality food twice now. Their in business for decades!! Is anyone in the kitchen! Is anyone checking quality! Mentioned all this to waitress while there. Sad, we have numerous choices for Italian restaurant in this area.

They no longer have a lunch menu. There were 4 of us for lunch. I had lasagna, a friend had baked ziti, one had pizza and the other the ravioli and we waited 45 minutes for our food. The pizza was warm and crust soggy. Ravioli was ok. The lasagna and ziti were cold. The waitress finally came over to ask about our meals and she took both dishes back to warm up after she checked with someone. We waited another 10 minutes and the food was still cold. We told her about it and she went to speak with someone again. She came back and said we could both get a free dessert to take home. I had the tiramisu which we wound up throwing away as it tasted like it had been in the refrigerator for days. So very disappointing as we used to love going there for baby and bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, etc. but unfortunately will not return.

On a Saturday afternoon, I went to the bar around 5 o’clock and ordered the $38 New York strip center cut steak cooked medium The state came with roasted potatoes enough for three side dishes sautéed mushrooms I had to pay extra for a tiny salad. I don’t know what I paid for it, but it probably wasn’t worth the money a bunch of mixed greens thrown on the plate, lettuce hanging all over the edge of the plate with some lousy dressing And topped with some lousy, canned olives When my state came first thing, I noticed it was not a center cut New York strip. It was the end up by the shoulder cut, and there was a lot of grizzle on the steak and I had to leave it because she can’t chew grizzle or fat. The steak tasted like it had a vinegar flavor to it almost resembled the taste of sour vinegar flavor The steak was well done and tough. I proceeded to eat Because I was hungry and I didn’t have time to send it back If you’re gonna serve a $40 steak, have somebody in the back that knows how to cut it and somebody that knows how to cook it I have to say that the service at the bar was very good And at the end of my meal, I ordered a simple dish of vanilla ice cream. It was the worst ice cream of very poor quality The total bill came to $51 and change

Drab atmosphere and terribly inattentive waitresses. Waitress asked us how our bread was multiple times then disappeared for the rest of the meal. Made us track her down twice to get the bill - she could be seen socializing at the bar. Ok food that’s not worth the time.

Prices are very high for what you get. Very bare bones, no soup or salad included, we even had to ask for bread to get any and at first was told it’s not included. Server randomly left after taking our order and nobody checked on us. Took over an hour to get any food. Food was good but not special to justify price and cost cutting. Someone else did eventually apologize and give us a discount. Has been good in the past and I know costs are tough all around but there are lots of places to eat, often about $10 less and give you more. Disappointing.

I would advise anyone looking to eat at this restaurant to steer very clear of it. RUN, do not walk, in the other direction of Moscatiello’s. There were dead cockroaches on the bathroom floor. See picture I submitted with this review. When I went to the bathroom, I looked down and saw multiple cockroaches dead on the floor that someone had killed. Everyone who works in pest services know that if there are cockroaches anywhere in a restaurant, they are also in the kitchen. This isn’t just unacceptable, but it’s a very real health hazard and risk. To say I am absolutely in shock and repulsed at what I saw is an understatement.

Not good. Food tasted old and had no flavor. We had a banquet room rented out-buffet style food. When it was done we saw the staff wrapping the food backup with Saran Wrap. They were clearly going to serve our leftovers to the next party. I’m about to call the health department. Restaurant was open. 11-2:30 we saw a total of two guests come in…I guess we’re not the only ones who think this place sucks.

Hi, I was there yesterday with my daughter and my grandson. I am 100% Italian and I must say that was probably the worstmeal I’ve ever had. I don’t know if it was because of the large party that was in the spare room or a new chef But the food tasted old and borrowed the service was OK. The food was taking too long, and I just felt like it was an inconvenience on the restaurants behalf that we actually came in and sat down. The meal I ordered was veal Sorrento with zitib and bruschetta. The bruschetta came right out of refrigerator. It was frozen and cold, and the only thing that tasted well was the garlic on the bread underneath it . Even my drink of peach, Prosecco tasted like it was rushed, and I had many a Prosecco with peach Bellini in my time .my grandson’s chicken tenders, and french fries were over cooked and over priced, we did pay for the bruschetta and my grandson’s meal. I don’t want to leave a bad review it was the first time I came to you after your restaurant being highly recommend it I don’t want it to be the last time but it just might be. My dining experience was an hour and a half of time that I will never get back. I’m very very distorted. I could’ve picked any Italian restaurant in the capital District yet I chose you.

Was there for Mother's Day dinner. Arrived on time for our 5 o'clock reservation. Was seated and handed menus. Placed our order and waited 1 hour for our salad . Was told the kitchen was backed up. Then our salads were given to the wrong table. Next our appetizers came and that was a half an hour after our salads. Before we finished our appetizers our dinners came. I had ordered the steak which arrived COLD and the potatoes were also cold. One member of our party received the wrong salad dressing, the best tortellini appetizer with NO BEETS, and was served his dinner until the rest of us were almost finished with our entrees and his was cold as well. Our experience was horrible....Never again!

The family had a post baptismal reception here recently for my son and my niece. We reserved one of the bigger rooms weeks in advance only to arrive and be told we would be moved into a smaller room due to the restaurant over booking. We were told the room would still be comfortable enough to accommodate our 40 guests. It was not. It was very cramped for 40 guests and not to mention the temperature in the room was 82 degrees when we arrived. The air conditioning was not working at all (in July). One of the employees put an Air Mover unit by the entryway to try to cool the room off but anyone who works in construction knows those units are used to dry floors not cool off a room. One of the servers told us they had someone working on the A/C making us believe that is recently went down however when I asked one of the bartenders about it they said the A/C in thay room had been down for weeks. By the time we left it was still 79 degrees in the room so the staff didn't do much. The restaurant manager wasn't in the least sympathetic to our situation and offered us no discount or compensation for this horrendous experience. I wonder why some of the people working here are even in the customer service field when they clearly didn't care about their guests. I speak for the entire family when I say we were very disappointed with the entire experience. On a positive note the two servers we had were quick and did a good job. The food was OK, not great. Definetly will not ever do business for our future family parties here.

Arrived for 5:30 reservation on Mother's Day. Was seated fairly quickly. Everything took way too long. A good 45 minutes for appetizers and got worse from there. Didn't walk out until 8:30. 3 hours is crazy. Waitstaff kept bringing out dishes asking if anyone had ordered a particular dish as if they had no idea what table had ordered what. Food quality was ok at best. Whole tray of drinks dropped on floor. Tray and some glasses picked up, the rest stayed there for the remainder of our evening. Tables in our room were never cleaned off after guests left. As stated in others review, it was cold in there. Half of our party were freezing. The point of a small special menu is that the kitchen can prep and get the orders out quick. Did not work out that way. Won't be going back.

I ordered spaghetti with meatballs. The meatballs were delicious however the pasta was the worst I have ever experienced. It was mushy with a horrible paste like sauce. Large portions do not make up for lack of quality.

Worst banquet experience ever! Service and experience was beyond sub par. There were 40 people, we paid for 5 hours top shelf open bar and the bartender was acting as a waiter and he was literally behind the bar for a total of 20 sporadic minutes in the only 3 hours that we were there. I knew we would only be there three hours so they were making money right off the top. I tried to talk to the bartender to ask him to be behind the bar to no avail and then asked to speak to the owner who was arrogant and rude and said he would not do anything to correct the situation as he didn't see there was a problem. People were literally standing in front of the bar for drinks and the bartender was not there and then they would go back and sit down unserved. They also said that their screw up in our meal selections were our guests fault for taking the wrong meals. Can't make this up! They literally didn't make enough of what we ordered and then blamed it on our guests. I would stay away from this place for banquets or anything else. We were definitely ripped off.

We had a party of 5 last night. First let’s just say the place isn’t much to look at. Dated vital table covers and chairs. No type of background music to break up the noise of others being loud. 2nd is the food is sub par!!! For what they charge it’s not worth it. I myself had the veal parmigiana with spaghetti. The veal was cold and tough to eat. The pasta water had soaked the veal, if that is what they claim it is. We waited 20 minutes just to get some water and hard bread. My other guests ordered clams and then pasta dishes. One other ordered the Stromboli that looked like it was pressed in a roller system. Flat and mostly bread. 3rd is we felt very uncomfortable due to having one of my guest that is blind and her husband is a black gentleman. People stared at us and the service became worse. Our server couldn’t even act attentive towards us. When the gentleman went up front to make a complaint, the front service counter acted like he didn’t exist. 4th I ordered a drink that is very popular in Italian restaurants. Took 20 minutes to get her to come back, just to tell me they didn’t have it. So I ordered a different drink on the rocks, from my chair to 3 chairs away she forgot what I asked for. When she brought my drink it was straight up. Upon paying the bill I informed the front counter of what a horrible experience for us especially me seeing it was my first time. He didn’t really care and said “I’ll look into it” No apology!!! We spent almost 500.00 to get ignored due to having a black gentleman and his white blind wife. What a shame. I won’t return and I doubt our guests won’t either. Shame on you for doing this!!!! We are all firefighters from different houses so guess what it’s going to spread like wildfire how we were treated at your establishment!!! DON’T SUPPORT THIS PLACE!!! You’ll regret it.
