Always a good time at Alibi! Haven’t really been to this location before, I love the different food options each spot has. Was sad that the Lamb Burger was out of stock, but ended up with the steak sandwich instead and it was SO good. I added on the feta dip that usually comes with the Lamb and it paired perfectly. Lots of our door seating here for when it warms back up!

Great vibe in this local institution. My kids had as much fun as I did. The beers are sumptuous. Interesting short menu. I got the falafel: pretty plate with falafels that transforms themselves instantly into tasty crumbs. Highly recommend. Don’t drive, bad idea after a feast at the brewery and with limited parking options.

This place was awesome! I stopped in for lunch after a half day of skiing and this was exactly what I was hoping for. Great beers and a huge selection, I particularly recommend the Contradiction Golden Mocha Stout. The wagyu burger was amazing, nice crispy toasted bun, the aioli was very flavorful you could really taste it and it added a lot to the burger. Patty is good sized and best of all you can actually eat the thing without having to unhinge your jaw! Service was great and the vibe of the place is really nice. Definitely looking forward to coming back!

Mustache pretzel was good. Sour beer/cider thing on tap was good. Outdoor seating was nice with the heaters. 👍 Def a good spot to have a drink and snack with friends or family.

I originally thought this was going to be a tourist brewery with not the best beers and mediocre food. I was very wrong. The food was excellent. I had the cheeseburger which was amazing and I’m not the biggest hamburger eater but I loved it. I also had the red ale and Czech dark lager which were phenomenal beers. I highly recommend this place. It’s not a tourist trap but a destination while in truckee.

Absolutely amazing experience at Alibi Ale Works. Everything we ordered was incredible. We had the Wagyu burger, crawfish mac & cheese, chicken & andouille sausage gumbo with added blackened shrimp, hard kombucha, and a beer flight — and every single item exceeded expectations. The Wagyu burger was cooked perfectly — juicy, flavorful, and clearly high-quality beef. The crawfish mac & cheese was rich, comforting, and packed with flavor. The gumbo was outstanding: deep, savory, and perfectly spiced, with tender chicken, andouille sausage, and beautifully seasoned blackened shrimp served over jasmine rice. The hard kombucha was refreshing and well balanced, and the beer flight was a great way to sample a variety of their brews — all of which were excellent. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, making it a great spot to really enjoy the food and drinks. We’ll absolutely be back and highly recommend stopping here

Pub style with long tables, order at bar and food is brought to you. Staff was friendly, beer on tap was great and probably the best Bao I've ever had! I'll be back for sure!

The only difficult thing I can say is I can’t tell you which place is better their location in Truckee or their location in Incline Village are both phenomenal. I say go to whatever one is closest to wherever you are the food. The people the atmosphere it just cannot be any better. We’re lucky to have two locations in the Lake Tahoe area. I wish we had several more. It’s that good.

Nearly every time I visit my daughter in Reno, we end up at Alibi Ale Works in Truckee! Always yummy adult beverages on tap for every palate! The food is always yummy. Love the open seating. Get to know locals and visitors like me.

Great little bar with lots of local events. Service is a little bit slow but typical for a bar. The tuna burger is amazing, a definite must try.

Husband and I shared the shrimp tacos, arugula and fennel salad, and a pretzel with cheese and mustard. All of it amazing: the tacos-flavorful, inventive, loved the marinated carrots on the side, and the diced mango and lemon aioli drizzled on top put them over the top. Very full tacos, so get more napkins! The salad-tender greens, toasted almonds, red onion and super bright lemon vinaigrette made this a superb salad (will have to duplicate at home!). The pretzel-hot, crispy and chewy, loved the flaky salt on top. We both fell in love with the beer-horseradish-grainy mustard. Cheese was good, we were just full. We snuck it under the table for our dog, and he gives a thumbs (paw) up! Friendly service, too.

There are quite a few breweries in the area, but Alibi is the best BY FAR! With a great variety of tap beer, they have something for everyone. The beers they make here honestly stack up with the best.

Great place for drinking delicious beer. They have a huge variety of tap beer. The food is nicely cooked. Here I saw so huge tables for a big company. We ordered (~15-20 min waiting time from order and get food): 1. Bacon wrapped dates (12$). It's tasty and has a hint of sweetness. 2. Pretzel is a star as a beer, of course. I like design and service. Thank you.

Fantastic. First of all... Mustache pretzel. How can you not order that. Also it tastes great. Also Mona recommended the bison burger and also mentioned they sell out and they only had 7 left. I ordered it immediately and it was phenomenal. Right after we ordered we saw like 10 more people walk up and ask for one. Mona and Katie were both super friendly and efficient even though they were slammed when we first came in.

Fantastic beers on tap. Great selection of beers. This is a hidden gem in downtown Truckee. Has a great vibe indoors and a fun outdoor seating area. Kid friendly, dog friends and has a small parking lot. Pay parking around town isn’t bad at all. Would recommend!

We had a great and memorable experience at Alibi! We enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor dining options, extensive menu, fresh beer and flavorful food, and the relaxed atmosphere and spacious indoor and outdoor dining. The staff provided superb service. It is also pet-friendly! We look forward to visiting again soon!!!

The beers are so goooooood. I love that they do have seasonal beers and that the flight is small enough. For $13, you get four 4 oz beers. I got a seasonal IPA, dark saison (wow!!!), Golden mocha stout and a barleywine (double wow!!). The lamb burger is also really good. It's solid and yet still juicy and the cheese pairs so well with the lamb. The place can get crowded so be prepared to stay in line for a while.

Hey, they've got a great selection of craft beers. And you have to try the mustache pretzel, it's incredible! The Alibi is a really nice place, it's clean, bright, and welcoming. Even the restrooms were super clean and bright.

First time at Alibi Ale Works. You order and pay at the bar. The bartender will give you a number and the food comes out and they find you. What is always hard for me is when you are expected to tip prior to getting served. The beer I ordered was a hazy and it was pretty tasty. I wish I would have stopped there but I was hungry and ordered a wagyu burger. Very disappointing. The pretzel bun was not warmed or toasted, the burger didn't taste anything special, and the "lettuce" stated on the menu was arugula which is not technically even a lettuce. A $20 burger served with potato chips?!? Lesson learned, if you want good beer go to a brewery if you want good food, go to a restaurant. It did look like a cool place to see live music.
