The breakfast in delicious! I started with coffee, fruit, juice, and a small pastry before the omlette. The view and service is excellent. There is inside and outside seating available. I suggest a table looking out at the ocean.

Есть столики на пляже и внутри . Очень красивый интерьер. И замечательная подача блюд . Прихожу сюда на завтраки . Завтраки очень вкусные . Большие порции . Обслуживание на высшем уровне. Рекомендую.

Calidad del servicio excelente, te atienden casi cronometrados todo el tiempo. Calidad de los platos excepcional. Super recomendado.

One of our favorite restaurants on our trip. The decor and set up was absolutely beautiful. The food was really good too. But what made our experience was definitely the service. Daniel was excellent, he was quick and made sure we got the right things and that we were always taken care of. If you can get him ask!!

Hands down best restaurant experience my entire stay in Tulum. Staff was absolutely incredible and so sincere and sweet. Jose our server went above and beyond and made our last night in Tulum truly unforgettable. I would come eat here again in a heartbeat.

Very nice restaurant/bar/lounge located in Casa Malca. Venue - Great place with beautiful art, decor, vibe, ambience and amazing views. Prices - Priced in the higher end, but seems to be around the same with other Tulum spots. Service - Very nice staff and friendly. Drinks - Great drinks but need to have a lil more of a kick. Food - Great fresh food with great taste and presentation. Overall really nice place and recommended.

Must go to in Tulum. Wandered here on a venture for dinner and we were completely blown away. Top meals in Tulum. Got to see turtle hatchlings as well for an added bonus.

The food was delicious but I'm knocking off a star for the service. After a meal where we spent a good amount of money, the servers came by and basically asked for more tip with the excuse that the 18% service charge only goes to the chef. We confirmed with the manager that that in fact is not true. That, along with some missing money from a purse, left a bad taste in our mouth.

The food was above average but not fantastic. Service was decent until they brought the check. They actually charged the bill on the credit card machine without me even reviewing the bill. It was expensive for what we got. I would say you can do better in Tulum than this restaurant.

Eclectic fine.dining in a Museum, can't get any better. While you wait for your next course, you can take in the art. I enjoyed my experience there. Daniel was a wonderful server. Had knowledge of the menu! I enjoyed that salmon tatar, shrimp ceviche (forgive my spelling). and to finish, I had mezcal truffle with fresh blueberries.

Pretty hotel, the beach club is one of the most expensive in the area ($3000MXN), though doesn’t seem worth it, really, if you're not staying in the hotel. Pretty mediocre food, small portions. Nice staff.

This is my second time staying at Casa Malca and eating at Philosophy in the last 9 months. While the food was not great (7 out of 10) in June 2017 during our first stay, it was decent and good enough if you didn't want to leave the property at night. This last trip March 2018 it seems the food has taken a few steps down (5 or 6 out of 10). Food in Tulum in general is creative and flavorful but Philosophy is anything but that. The menu needs to change and could use a refresh. The location couldn't be better so having boring ordinary food, that isn't cheap, seems like a wasted opportunity.

Food was adequate but cold, we had a party of 10 and it took 4 hours to get food and eat. Service was not very good as well. They hit me up for extra tip as well. I usually tip 20% so I gave it. The server seemed disappointed with that.

Food is overrated. Menu price is extremely high for the quality of the food. It’s a good choice if you’re staying at casa malca. However, I won’t recommend it due to high prices. Food was not fresh; guacamole looked like was done the day before and the chips were not crunchy at all. Drinks were good. You have a fixed prepaid amount that’s minimum you have to spend to eat there.

Bon service, mais vraiment pas cool de nous mentir à l’heure de l’addition, et de nous dire que la “propina” indicative mentionné sur la note (15 %), ne signifie pas “pourboire” et que ce sont les taxes et que nous devions laisser un pourboire en plus!

Great hotel but terrible restaurant. The octopus was chewy and the ceviche uninspiring. The banana daiquiris had no rum and were watery. And the service was painfully slow. Took 20 mins after seating before waiter stopped by. An hour before our first course showed up. Very disappointing.

Las hostess (las 3) de la entrada muy groseras muy lejos de la cultura de armonia que se vive en Tulum, deben de mejorar esa parte. Llegas y no te contestan el saludo solo te dicen tienes que pagar 100 dólares por persona para poder pasar. La entrada también muy sucioa pero eso es lo de menos si su personal tuviera algo de educación

Horrible place. Don’t go there. We went for a breakfast and were really disappointed. While paid over 500 pesos we got one egg and tons of chips. Really 500 pesos for an egg??? Quality was not great as well. Not recommended.

Pésimo servicio que lleve más de un mes intentando conseguir una factura de su restaurante y nunca contesten. Llamas al hotel y te dicen que otro número y un mail, y nunca contestan. Eso que hacen no es legal, voy a reportar al SAT que no emiten facturas cuando una cuenta se paga por tarjeta de empresa,o que nos ocasiona un problema contable

We spent $600 us dollars for 4 people. We each ordered a drink and a main dish. All the food was mediocre tasting. I had the rice with shrimp and I didn’t like it at all. My dad had pork belly and it was tasteless, my husband had the steak which was good but the rice wasn’t good. My mom had the tacos which the meat was over seasoned. I would say all the other restaurants around are way better and way less costly. I would never recommend to eat here but the service and staff was great.

I would give zero stars if I could for the way we were treated this afternoon. My family and I walked in at 4:45pm today to grab an early dinner. I had read reviews here on google that said the food was good, and their hours stated they were open. We were hungry after scuba diving and ready for an early dinner, and the other restaurants we planned to eat at this week didn’t open until 5:30pm. We paid $200 pesos to park across the entrance and then walked down the plant hallway towards the restaurant, where we were greeted by a couple of women at a window. They told us we needed to pay US $110 PER PERSON entrance fee, which was a ‘minimum consumption’. We said ok, is this going to be applied toward our bill at the restaurant? Since we knew we would be spending at least that much we weren’t worried about it. Then they replied and told us no, that was just what we needed to pay to enter and our bill at dinner would be separate. We said we are not doing that and left. And asked for our money back from the parking attendant since we had literally been there for 3 minutes and were told there were no refunds and that they didn’t speak English. We said whatever and left and the parking attendant laughed as we walked away. Cliff notes: don’t eat here or even waste your time. Eat at any of the other amazing restaurants in town. So far I can suggest Arca, Marcario, La Zebra, Ahau, or Amansala
