Amazing southern / Louisiana cooking. Fried green tomatoes were unreal. Huge portions. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Not very expensive. Peach iced tea was very large, decadent and delicious.

The Servers are always so happy & nice, the food is amazing! I enjoy the environment.

Wonderful customer service! I made an order for Mardi Gras Beignets but couldn't make it on time before they closed because my car broke down. I arrived as the workers were leaving but the waiter still gave me my order and said it's on the house. I'm very thankful!! I will definitely be making another purchase to repay the waiters kindness and also because their food was very tasty :)

I love this place. The food is always amazing and the staff friendly. I almost always get the spicy bayou chicken sandwich. It's soo good the chicken is very big and filling my wife loves the stacked chicken and waffles. Also great choice. The swamp tea is to die for.

The decor is very nice and the food is good. It can take a long time to be taken to a table but that's because they're usually busy. The employees help provide a good dining experience by being friendly and making sure you're satisfied with your meal. No complaints here!

Clean and courteous. I'm sad they aren't open for dinner. I had been here a few years ago and it was a four star establishment at best. Some serious changes have been made and it feels cleaner and the food seems fresher. Maybe I got a one-off or maybe it's real. I know I'm coming back for more. My one request is that they might have more sugar free drink options but I'm always happy with water. It's nice to have a different option for food in the area and with good parking.

Kinda like going to New Orleans Square in Disneyland. The food was awesome. I had Bananas Foster French Toast with Ham, eggs, and Fried Green Tomatoes. Delicious and cooked perfectly. The servers are very good! Drinks refilled regularly and checked on us regularly. Cheaper than McDonalds when you consider the amount and quality of the food!

My boyfriend and I love going to this place. Service is great and food is filling. Never disappointed. The atmosphere is nice. It’s definitely cool to look at my surroundings. Very family friendly.

My wife and I love this place. From beginning to end the service is impeccable. The food is what should be standard in every place. Not only is it delicious and leaves you wanting to take a nap after, the portion size is perfect. The staff are all super friendly and attentive even when it is packed. I would recommend this place to everyone. I'd have taken pictures but by the time I get my phone out to do so, the food seems to disappear, it's crazy!

What a great experience we had for breakfast today at the Turlock location on Monte Vista and gear. I didn’t get the waitress name, but she was very kind. We had a small brief conversation in regards of her great service. She treated this older gentleman very well, who was by himself as it hits close to home because my father is now alone and goes to breakfast by himself in the San Jose area. I told my other half I can only hope My father gets that type Customer service when he’s alone it was awesome to see. Well done!

First time I’ve tried this restaurant and won’t be the last . The iced teas are my favorite taste fresh and had fruit on top .

We eat at Huckelberry's for breakfast with fair regularity... at least for the drive distance of 17 miles allows. The food and service are incredible. I reccomend the "Stacked Chicken & Waffles". Outrageously tasty. Sweet/Savory/Tangy sauce and special butter. Green onions. Whoever came up with that particular recipe deserves a medal. You probably can't go wrong with anything on the breakfast menu as I've tried almost all of it and everything I've tried is awesome.

This my second time to a Huckleberry’s , first one was at Livermore ca grand opening or shortly after, I was not Fan ! The service was 3 out 10 at best and food was mediocre. After that did not have any reason to visit a huckleberry again , then this morning my wife and I was at Turlock Ca to take our dog to the vets near a Huckleberry restaurant and we had a few hours to kill and was really hungry so I was either am/pm arco microwave burritos or Huckleberry! Upon walking into Huckleberry we was meet by a host named Ryan a tall 6 plus young strapping fella with a smile and an energetic attitude and greeted us and sat us right away. Ryan got us our drinks and told us our server would be right with us . April our beautiful server greeted us and took our order with such pleasant demeanor. Both my wife and I both been in the hospitality business in our younger years and was very impressed by how well we were both being treated 10plus ! The food was actually very good! Not what I expected!. I am sorry but I forgot to mention the food runner whom brought our dish’s to us was also just a bell ! I am now a big fan at Huckleberry at Turlock Ca . Great job everyone and really thank you for a very pleasant dining experience! We’ll be back !

Great experience! We had breakfast today, which included eggs, potatoes, biscuits & gravy, stuffed French toast with huckleberries, coffee & water. Waitress was nice & topped off our coffee before we ran out. Our order came to the table exactly as ordered with little wait time. Food was very good & we were not hungry when we left. (If you have never had huckleberries, I suggest you get something with huckleberries & try them!) The decor is fun and has a Louisiana/swamp land feel. I've been for lunch & found that my lunch experience was wonderful as well.

I had breakfast at Huckleberry's recently, and the staff was so welcoming. Nice to see friendly faces in the early morning. I got the Mississippi, a skillet with ham, bacon, bell peppers, mushrooms, and had biscuits and gravy on the side, it was delicious. The serving size was big, and the price was around $18. Cristy, our waitress, was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. She offered great recommendations and kept our glasses full. The Turlock Geer Road location was very clean. Great job staff

Took my mom here for breakfast after being released from the ER to eat. I have to say, this was a nice experience for a first timer here and the food we got was great. The hostess was very nice and attentive, while making sure we were doing well at our table. The breakfast that Mom got looked and tasted good while mine was a surprise that it wasn't the basic cod fish and chips, so we were happy about that. Overall, the experience was awesome and we are definitely coming back again for a different dish soon for breakfast.

This place is all about the breakfast you can't get at other diners in the area. They do such a good job creating an atmosphere so deep into the bayou, Bobby Boucher's mamma would be proud. This place can get pretty busy on the weekends, but it's worth the wait. Staff is friendly, coffee and drinks are refilled promptly, food is hot and fresh! I tried the bananas foster and it was a heaping 4 slices of French toast goodness, couldn't finish it all. The wife had a Tom's scramble and the piece of chicken fried steak it comes with was smackin'. They have giant mason jars of tea with pieces of fruit, mimosas, and massive bloody Marys. My daughter and I absolutely adored this restaurant. The staff was very tentative sat us down immediately. We went on Sunday morning when you would predict a wait time. However, as soon as we were seated at our table we were greeted for drinks right away. The strawberry lemonade is a must try. The food was delicious. I will definitely be returning back. I also wish I would have got the name of our server because she was the sweetest and definitely works hard.

Easy 5 star! Incredible design. So much fun! Menu is so hard to pick from because everything looks so good. As a table we ordered about 10 different plates and they all were incredible from the French toast (regular and stuffed) to the Benedict’s and waffles and everything. Loved my time here. The huckleberry tea was really unique and came with berries in it.

The service was fast and friendly. This was our first time here but they made us feel like regulars. The food was flavorful and delicious. I had the Dixieland Steak Melt. I highly recommend it if you like BBQ. Also, the Swamp Tea was tasty and refreshing. If you haven't been to Huckleberry's, you're missing out.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food is also pretty good. The menu has variety and the prices aren't half bad. The southern decorations also give it a different, one of a kind experience. The atmosphere is chill and mellow.

Food was good but can use a bit more seasoning in my opinion. Our waitress was amazing! Other than some people seated close to us being so very very loud and rude our visit was great.

Decor is Louisiana style and so is the food. Was very busy but we had great service and the servings were very generous. In and out in no time!

The service was great. Our food was good. The fried green tomates was good. It was the first time I ate fried green tomatoes. My daughter's sandwhich was a little soggy but she did say it did taste good. Maybe next time try with the sauce on the side.

We have been here a few times for breakfast. On a Wednesday, you wouldn’t think there would be a need for a waiting list, but there you go. The wait was about 15 minutes. Not too bad. We were told that this place is always busy. With our experience, I would have to agree. This is a franchise, but it felt homey. The presentation of the food did leave something to be desired. It looked like the food was just slapped into a plate. I’m sure it would be said that it’s because of staff shortages and people waiting. Maybe. It just would be nice have that personal feel.

Must say I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Food was good and service was good. Nothing over the top - but I would go there again.

Food was great, but burgers needed a bit more seasoning. Fried green tomatoes with sauce were awesome! But if you're looking for a true Monte Cristo, they'll need to change the battering method. This was more like ham, turkey, and cheese on French toast. The sandwich needs to stay whole, then dipped and fried, then cut in half. The dipping fruit jelly was scrumptious 😋 French fries are very good, too!

Wish they added more new menu items, but you can never go wrong with breakfast here. The lemonades and Iced teas are a must here.

The service here is usually hit or miss. However, it never stops us from coming back for the outstanding breakfast!! Breakfast is a delight every time!!

Good little place to eat. When I went it was later in the afternoon when they were closing so they do close early. I heard that they get extremely busy so you may want to make reservations. But if you're going later in the afternoon where it's closer to their closing time you're probably fine just to walk in. But very cool atmosphere get to see kind of like a lot of old school stuff that they have up like coffee cans and other cool things from the past. I would definitely go again

Haven't been here in years and pleasantly surprised! We went after church and the parking lot was full, though we were seated immediately. Great breakfast menu--lots of choice (they even have beignets). We'll be back soon--maybe for lunch this time! Update. Haven't been here in about a year and after today's experience. I probably won't be back. Went for breakfast at around 9:30am. Although my food looked ok, my food was lukewarm at best. The home potatoes were cold. soggy, and not seasoned (the melted cheese on top my omelet was dried. The same tasteless, soggy potatoes were in the burritos. The beignets are supposed to be crispy, but these were cold and soggy. It was as if most the food had been prepared ahead of time and they never bothered to warm everything properly. Yuck, lost two customers today.

I love the menu and the setting but I wonder if it could be due to inflation but dang the prices are to too crazy. One waffle , two pancakes and 3 coffees and a kid menu item. We paid $41 plus tax and plus tip and mind you I went with my parents who are seniors (over 60) and we have to ask for the senior menu which is never given to you upon arrival. Prices are exaggerated. Won't be going here anymore.

The service was great! It wasn't clear that this place has Louisiana style food, which I don't care for. They also sat a couple with a baby right next to me, even though there were plenty of tables open. Did I mention the 5 star service from Neka?

This place was calm and pretty quiet during lunch time. I was seated quickly and and more order was taken quickly as well. My waitress was very friendly. They were out of fish and they didn’t tell me until I tried to order it. I ordered a burger instead but they used green tomatoes on it which was disgusting. I picked them off and the burger was fine after. Their fries aren’t that great either.

Classic burger was delicious. Sweet tea is well- smooth&sweet. Fries- a fail. They were 'cold also stale. Service was ok. Only reason I will be going back for is the hamburger also sweet tea. Be your own judge on thier food and visit soon.

French toast was soggy. Sausage was basic frozen sausages you can get at any big box store. The quality of food has gone down. Service was baseline, nothing exceptional.

Definitely only order breakfast here, but not the chicken and waffles. The waffles are phenomenal but the chicken is bland and not crispy. My mom ordered the catfish and chips...the fries were soggy, she took one bite of the fish and she was done. They have great servers, but the restaurant is dark and outdated

I’ve been a customer for many years and todays service was the absolute worst I’ve seen in a while. The only person working was the poor waitress. From a customer’s perspective, when they can visually see at least 5 people standing around talking, not actively working, and your coffee hasn’t been refilled the entire time you’ve been there, that, to me is absolutely poor management. It feels as though the only people who care and work their butts off, are the waitresses. I also noticed 3 people around the coffee maker - standing around chit chatting and it makes me mad because it is a poor reflection of the business and directly affects the customers opinion about their waitress and the service they receive. That being said, I still tipped the waitress generously because SHE provided excellent service. Typically they have one pets designated for refilling drinks. I did not see that today. Their best thing on this menu is the stacked chicken and waffles. I definitely recommend that, but if you’re looking for better service and just as good quality food, I’d try another breakfast option down the street.

My family didn't like the food here. We ate enough so we weren't hungry anymore and left the rest on the table. The people were nice and they had some cool decorations. Wouldn't recommend.

Food wasn't well flavored 😕 definitely changed since the last time my wife and I came to huckleberry. Strawberry Lemonade was great but everything else tasted bland. Purchased fish and chips but the fish wasn't seasoned nor was the coating all that appealing. Crepes were heavily sweetened 😕 coffee was ok. Definitely better resturants than this one.

The absolute WORST service. There's absolutely no communication at all whatsoever. We ordered food 45 minutes ago. My family has their food and is done eating. The servers are still trying to figure out what I ordered and where my food is. They've brought out food they already brought us twice. Because of the delays, my mom has missed her train back to Oakland and we had to spend an extra $27 on her a later ticket. I'm really frustrated and disappointed. I'll never come back. Family said the food they did get was terrible.

I came here last weekend and got some Biegnets and they were really bad. They were cold on one side and hot on the other and not to mention that fact that they taste like donuts and barely had any powder sugar when it says on the menu that they put a lot. It was also mushy like not cooked all the way. Maybe it was just my order but I definitely do NOT recommend the Beignets here. The lemonades on the other hand are pretty good.

The only reason I gave a one star is because I couldn't give a zero. I was so excited to try this restaurant as I had heard good reviews. I should have went to Denny's. This food was DISGUSTING. Probably one of the worse meals I have ever had. I had the chicken and waffles. The waffle had NO TASTE! I had to drink something sweet to make sure I wasn't losing my taste! The chicken had no seasoning whatsoever. My husband had the catfish with creole sauce and the fish looked undercooked with a can of tomato sauce on it. He couldn't even eat it. Please save your hard earned money and don't go to this restaurant. Go get a mcgriddle from McDonald's instead.

My wife and I were seated. We ordered a double cheeseburger, poor boy shrimp sandwich, and French fries. Order took 30 minutes. When delivered it was not properly heated. Sent back and waited 5 minutes. Delivered and warm.

Arrived at about 9 am and stood at the counter for awhile until the cook noticed me and yelled for a waitress with no luck so she pounded on the counter. A waitress finally came to seat me. I sat at the table for quite awhile, listening to the waitress’s talking and laughing. I got up and walked out!! This happened on a Tuesday morning 5/9. The place was practically empty. I now see why!!!

My wife and I have been coming to Huckleberries for years. At least twice a month for breakfast. After our last 2 visits, including today, we won’t be going back any time soon. Last time I found a piece of blue rubber glove in my meal. My wife’s meal was horribly prepared to the point she refused to eat it. Today we go in for breakfast and just have the most horrible service you can imagine. We had just arrived and were the only 2 to be seated. Another couple came in directly behind us and the server took them directly back right in front of us. They seat us in a booth directly next to the waitresses prep area so we asked to please be seated elsewhere. Our server promptly told us no even though there was a suitable booth right across from us. She then seated other customers there and she did it right in front of us. At that point we just decided to leave. The bumbling worthless manager tried to save the day by covering our drinks. Which we never even touched. Even though my wife was telling the server how rude she was right in front of him. He’s clueless. Very, very disappointing experience.
